Hold Me In Your Eyes

(Sung to the tune of “Traces of Love’) Verse 1: Hold me in your arms Let me feel the touch of your love Keep me feeling warm You’re the one I’ll always think of Chorus 1: So tenderly, O my love, You touch me with your eyes Let love arise Verse 2: Hold me in your eyes Let me taste your warm affection For you are my prize You’re the answer to my question Chorus 2: That long I’ve asked, O my love, Could love be sweet as this? Oh this is a gem I finally got to read my friend! Each verse dives deep into tender emotions of soothing love. The chorus just wraps me in its melody. This is a fave for me John :) It deserves the views it has received and more accolades. :) I had a feeling I would love it before I read it.

Jan, "Traces" was originally sung by the Classics IV in 1969. I highly recommend you youtube it... it's very hauntingly beautiful. Thanks! ~ John
