What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of 'Travel Light'
Light and travel in any combination or connection. Can include stasis and shadows, darkness, blindness, time and place and whatever comes to mind. Connecting flights are allowed as are airport delays and heavy illuminations.
I personally like stream of consciousness and out of the box poems. I am learning though that there is a lot of merit in simplicity. Be free and write as you like, as out of the box can be a box itself and in the box can celebrate structure or whatever...
I personally like travelling, but if you express that you do not, go for it in your poem.
I am personally more into philospophy than religion, but I had some great poems with religious themes in my last contest and will do my utmost to be open when judging.
Any form is acceptable.
Anything goes, so please travel lightly with light and break all rules if you see fit.
