Contest Description
What to Submit?
- A NEW poem inspired by a romantic movie.
I am not looking for a synopsis of that movie, just something you are inspired to write, having watched it in full, or partly, ie. a particular scene.
Let it take you anywhere. It can be sensual, but please, not graphic or rude.
- Any form is acceptable, EXCEPT monoku, haiku, senryu.
Preparing Your Entry:
- NO illustrations or fancy fonts.
- NO names.
- DATE your poem. I am looking for NEW ones.
- Please write, at the end of your poem, the NAME OF THE romantic FILM that has inspired you. I may not know the names of the movies so don't assume!
- You may use "Movie Mania" in your title but you don't have to.
Prizes
There may be multiple placements, depending on the quality of the poems entered.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
