Contest Description
Fool's gold is a brassy yellow mineral that can be mistaken for gold.
However, I am not looking for geological expertise, but an interesting poem about deception. Use the phrase fool's gold either in the first or last line.
What to Submit?
1 original NEW poem (of up to 20 lines inclusive) on the theme of deception.
Any form is acceptable. Date it, please.

Write a new poem, in any form, about deception ;
Write up to 20 lines inclusive ;
Incorporate the phrase fool's gold either on the first or last line, but not both ;
