'Another Bite At The Cherry' Contest Judged

In light of the controversy surrounding multiple contest placements, I find it really ironic that this is the first contest where I have been able to award all single placements! It has been a very interesting contest, and has gone a long way to reassuring me that judges are, on the whole, thoroughly evaluating pieces and making some sound decisions. Out of thirty five poems I was only able to put twelve through to the second round, and from there only seven made it onto the winners' list. They are the gems that slipped through the net the first time around. Many thanks to all who participated, and congratulations to my seven winners!

Charlotte - You would only know if the judges had been successful in thoroughly evaluating pieces if you were party to the other entries received, which you were not.

WOW thank you so much Charlotte I am delighted to place 7th in your contest.
