Crystal Cheeks Poem
Let us never forget
Those who have been lost
The ones who once protected us
And paid the ultimate cost
They are the fallen heroes
From wars of the past
Some pictures have faded
But the memories still last
Keep them in your thoughts
Never forget what they've paid
To give us the freedom
We enjoy every day
They are the fallen heroes
Remember what they've done
Thank them each morning
With the rising sun

Crystal Cheeks Poem
Look at the horizon,
What do you see?
A memorial to be built,
Where the Towers use to be.
Thousands of people
Went to work that day.
Hoping to make a difference
In some kind of way.
When the Towers were hit,
Americans arose.
Not concerned about the buildings
And the danger that they posed.
A few years have passed,
But the pain is still there.
America will never forget
What you've had to bare.
A blue morning in September,
Is when it all began.
We are One Nation Under God,
And together we will stand!

Crystal Cheeks Poem
Though life is never perfect
Find joy in many things
Wake up smiling each morning
Ready for what life brings
Never give up on your dreams
Have faith in yourself
Look inside your heart and soul
And find your inner wealth
Do what you believe in
And always do what's right
Then you should have no problem
Sleeping well each night
You should always be kind
To the needy that you meet
Try to lend a helping hand
It may be Jesus that you greet
Life can be an uphill climb
Of that make no mistake
But God will never give to you
More than you can take

Crystal Cheeks Poem
God, please help me
I must do better
I can't see through the rain
In this stormy weather
I wake up each morning
With a smile on my face
Hiding the shame I feel
That my life is a waste
I hold back the tears
So no one can see
The pressure is so great
All eyes are on me
The weight of a mountain
Is on my shoulders
A landslide of rocks
Boulder after boulder
I must keep going
Too much is at stake
I must be perfect
No room for mistakes
So, God, please help me
To do my very best
And if it gets too much for me
Give me a moment to rest

Crystal Cheeks Poem
There's too many children
Who have no food
Some have no home
Or even shoes
There's too many women
Beaten and bruised
No matter their skin color
They're all black and blue
There's too many men
Strung out on crack
Some are so far gone
They'll never come back
There's too many families
Who struggle each day
There's not enough money
And too many bills to pay
There's so many things
We all, as one, can do
To ease the pain and suffering
Of the not-so-few

Crystal Cheeks Poem
The sun is now setting
On another long day
Another prayer comes up to you
To help me find my way
These prayers I pray
Are not just for me
It is for my family
For which I plea
I want for my children
To have a good life
And for my husband
To have a good wife
I hope that you're listening
Though your ears must be tired
I know you've heard my prayers alot
But to me my needs are dire
So I will wake up in the morning
As the sun comes into view
Another day will begin
Another prayer comes up to you

Crystal Cheeks Poem
Imagine a place
Without hate
No more crime
And no more waste
Noone is hungry
Noone is scared
There is a home for everybody
With plenty of room to spare
Imagine a place
In total peace
Where everything you want
Is within your reach
Noone has to lie
Noone cheats or steals
Live in comfort knowing
No more children will be killed
Imagine a place
Where everyone is loved
The one place that can be found
Is in God's kingdom above
