Gaia: Mother Earth

Rain sprung a leak from heaven,
falling, falling, gently falling
bathing an Osprey nest,
upon a tall mountain crest,
Mother Earth will guide this quest.
Her beauty surrounds the woodlands best.

Rainbow prisms ever glow,
lighting the stage that's set,
for a day forest winds blowing free,
ribbons of light and dark greens,
around winding shady crystal streams.
Bald eagle shrieks resounding,
with delightful sounds of this kind,
Mother Earth will share in your dreams,
Come now, alive inside her mind.

Mother Earth beheld a secret garden,
dressed in her finest sacred apparel.
She came into being as a Goddess,
brought forth in light from heaven,
pure love at her core evolves to heal,
while souls touch her essence so real.

A spirit palace; a marriage of hearts,
co-joined to share love's healing grace,
A word, a touch, a smile bestowed,
blossomed love buds betwixt as one place,
blessings tendered upon human petals,
scarred by wounds received over time
each gift of life brought here to cherish
beloved of the gardens divine

Tree of Life in Gaia's gardens midst
to those who find themselves love entwined
nurtured peace through her roots planted deep
no greater love has been known so divine
Mother Earth sows seeds as we sleep

Pond ripples flow in gentlest of wakes
Bearing graceful blessings borne of love,
Birds singing quietly until she awakes
Sacred flowers growing in gardens well kept
Bringing peace to all as Gaia Goddess slept

Reflection

Sapphire clouds on pink mountains
Sky of lemon
Deeper into the inversions of my mind
Reality is this vivacious hum
Singing the blues
My prayer book of gold
Contemplation....
Eyes watching the moon wane
Waves, lush tides to soothe a soul

Shall I ascend to the next level?
I only stopped to pause and reflect.
I remember sweet silken moments...
The sweetness of succulent wine
I passionately love you.
I believed in you.

It was so unexpected that you would leave.
And then I stayed too long in the valley of sorrow
Wondering what might've been.....
It drove me mad and sad almost to the point of no return.

I shall not carry this sorrow alone
Venus shines through the pines
Illustrated hope hangs on the cypress
Serene swans like cryptic poetry.
Death is not romantic
Life soars above the planets
White lilies sing amidst the fireflies
I have heard the voice of peace
Now the stairs before me beckon me
To climb to the next level where the view
And fragrant red roses will delight my weary soul
You might even be there to dance with me one more time in the mystical mists of eternity.

Sipping Twilight

The sullen sea from my balcony mirrors gray sky
it’s been hauntingly lazy,
raining, two summer days now.

And like the ocean, the dog days ebb,
low whispers, from an abandoned conch shell beckoning me
Come to the sea.....
Placing pink side against my ear,
from inside comes a hollow sound and
my small child hears the ocean captured!

Passion always seeks more
from the hearts of lovers……
The sultry breeze caresses
like your breath on my skin.
The sweet perfume of you
lingers like salt air and clings like sand to moist legs.
I'm lost in my dream
But,
in the far lavender horizon,
the ocean swallows the sun
I'm sipping twilight and waiting for paradise.

Peace Like a River

Water of the sublime dusk
Slow moving, decorated in color
A idea by the sea
Moonlight shines on jasmine blossoms
Waves and wind making ripples,
crickets begin to sound

Where do streams flow?
Poise in an old oil lamp
Fantasies filled with fireflies
Romance in an old wine glass
Bonfire on the shoreline blazes

Olive oil, garlic, parsley
Time, a clock stopped
Adventure amidst blooming peonies
Breeze blows the silk curtain

Our dialogue is an easel
Colors of oil paints run freely
Our love an old country road
Reflections of children playing.

Fall trees caress my dreams
I whistle, walking the shore
Felt spires in lilac clouds
Wreaths and garland ideals

Brick alleys with flowerpots
Away from the dark shadows
Birds singing on a wire
Day and night like lovers
Colors soft prism rainbows
Storms as soft as velvet
Peace, a quiet river

Enchanting Evening

beautiful woman
possesses intelligence
enchanting results

fireworks flying
on some enchanted evening
lovers rendezvous
deeply entranced by her words
and throwing her curves around

music sets the mood
dancing on the moonlit beach
with waves of passion

getting in too deep
and there is no life saver
nothing he can do
caught in a rip tide of love
captivating him slowly

drawn into deep pools
seduced by her emerald eyes
with delicious warmth

lascivious looks...
provocative persuasions
saying ~~ I WANT YOU! ~~
A vertical seduction
with horizontal results

A Single Red Rose

Dreaming of Him.....

Lulled into peaceful dreams
Lightly wafting loves sweet schemes
As a feather flits upon silken breeze
Passion's flight, he owns the keys

The Kiss........

Lips melded in desire
lighting hearts and souls on fire
fully ripe, and velvet to touch
receives the love she wants so much

Love Gives

He wants to take her there
with passions strong and love so fair
Abandoned now to his embraces
Satiated secret places

Love Awakens

Before the dawn of first sunlight
Fearing so, her lover's flight
Upon her pillow.. one special red rose
To remind her of the love she knows

Alpha

As lightening strikes the canyon walls
and eagles give a haunting call,
there comes a mighty sound;
With dancing hooves that seem too small
he prances, standing proud and tall
then stomps to stand his ground,
Alpha stallion may be found.

The mustang runs to greet his mares
and like the flight of lovebird pairs,
his path is free and wild.
He climbs the mountain carved like stairs
with all forefathers, gathered there.

The herd has gathered side by side
within the canyon as they ride,
the ancient ways of old.
As heads are lifted in the pride
to gather power in their stride,
they won't be bought or sold.

When wildfire soars to conquer age
and eagles fly in urgent rage
to give a warning cry,
the herd will gather by their sage
accepting death to be their wage
together shall they die.

Nectar of Life

nectar of life from a distant throne
shadows breathe in a constant drone
dewdrops lose their glorious bright
And colors seeping back to white

chaos churns the rivers grime
o'er smooth stones made of time
filters pure, ancient golden goal
creative essence of the soul

whittle away chaos gray
write the words you have to say
somewhere in each waterfall
poetic feeling of a distant call

paths to journey made quite clear
with all it’s folly, sorrow and fear
essence of a greater power
love breathed peace in final hour

envisioning Nova of one’s death
goal to love with each last breath
