Karl Mcdonnell Poem
Excuse me please can I return this heart,
The one you sold me was torn apart,
I have a receipt folded so neat,
Have you one in stock that doesn't beat,
Sorry love I've changed my mind,
Keep that heart it was never mine.

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
I floated through the park today,my duck and me fed bread to the bees and the pollon made us sneeze.
We quacked and laughed into a summers breeze and the buzz we had brought us to our knees.

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
Marble teeth with transparent grief, wearing her down that coat of brown,it keeps her warm from time to time,it's all she knows this girl of mine,it fits her well and holds her tight, perfect stitching with the needle in sight.

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
A star is born while a soul is torn on the Hollywood walk of fame,
With dreams that matter or a life that's shattered in slabs of pavement pain,
For some it's to much and others never enough were falling stars are drained,
Ferocious appetites will consume for a life that may ruin them on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Falling short is never present,
And giving up can be so pleasant.

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
The worst has yet to come, digging up fossilised feelings of mammoth proportion which way a ton, years of emotion wraped in lares of flesh an dirt, exhumed over a billion century's of prehistoric pain and hurt.

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
You're profession is my depression,
A constant reminder of an emotional grinder,
A year of sleep is all I need,
Inducing coma of you're planted seeds,
The weeds can grow, not that I'll know,
Water my pain I'm feeding slow,
I'm moving now towards the sun,
Never to return you weren't the one.

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
Only to open a page
Chapters on holy wars and rage
Blood flows as black as the ink
Soaking up humanity as evolving looses its link
God is oil
The currency is blood
To call them animals would be to insult an animal
There only claim
Is to be in humane
We are worse
God we are in reverse
Killing and dieing for a heavenly seat
While a motionless child lies dead on the street

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
Sometimes I wish I was someone else
No one out there has my back
Most of the time I don't really care
Pondering were I go from here
Stick to what I know till it's over
A final push to the last stand
It's painfully simple but no one can see
What the present has in store for me.

Karl Mcdonnell Poem
Simmer down and relax a little, engage that frown don't be so brittle, people say I'm worth a bit more, out of ten I'd give me a four, don't be cryptic or complicated,I'll have it pure and stipulated, get me high while hope is low, embrace my depth from a cloud to my toe.
