The Stars

The Stars

It sings "twinkle twinkle little star" over and over again as it flickers on and off like a lightbulb.
I look up and see the stars.
They aren't stars but suns.
I close my eyes and I see Cancer the crab scooting over to say hi to Gemini.
As they chatter on about their neighbors Hercules wonders over to the hydra and slays him again.
Leo the lion stands waiting for Orion to mount and ride off to go on a hunt to find Scorpius.
Then Perseus on the Pegasus and Sagittarius riding the Phoenix fly away to go find the Sculptors home.
The Taurus himself ran from Orion many times but was caught in the end.
I blink and wonder what I just saw.
I don't dismiss it has a dream.
Why?
As I walk away I take one look back up and see Orion on Leo waving at me
Cancer and Gemini continue their dispute and the others continue their business.
These stars have something to hold in them.
Worth more then gold and silver combined.
     They hold memories and possibilities.
Something we here at home can't give.
This is the story they told me.

Sand Castles In the Sky

Sand Castles In The Sky

So you try to believe in the castles made of  sand from the sky.
When it falls to the sea and your feet can’t find dry land. You panic, but I'm always here so,
Reach for my hand, reach for my hand.
I'm always here don't give up.
Just reach for my hand.
I sacrifice my life to give you my life through my  words.
You've  lived your whole life with the World on your shoulders now it's time to share it.
Here hand me some and well do this together.
I can move in the room full of wolves so swift so smooth, when you need me I'll be right at your side.
I'll reach my hand out, you reach yours out.
I'll take hold and I'll pull you safely away from there.
Thats why they make sand castles in the sky.
To reach a hand down to help you up.
Just grab a bucket and a pale and soon your friend with come and help you build.
You will build your way up using the sand from the sky.
A sand castle in the sky.

Closer To the Edge

Closer To The Edge

As I look across to the other
side I know I'm getting closer
to the edge. I'm alone here.
The smoke in the air is black
with a faint smell of my blood.
When a day goes by. When a
week goes by I inch myself
closer to the edge. Closer to
my demise. Closer to my
death. Rocks fall as I lean
over. Open my arms and it's a
free fall down to my haven. I
see him running and screaming
not to let go. Just as he grabs
for then hem of my shirt I let
go. Smiling I fall. Letting the
wind whip through my body
and tear it shreds. The closet I
got to the edge the more he
pleaded. In the end darkness
won. The darkness inside of
you will always win in the end
so don't try to fight it.

11:11 and 1:11pm

11:11 and 1:11pm

These are the times.
The times I make a wish.
The time I tell my friends to make a wish and that I've made mine.
I do not miss these two times.
Only because I want him to come see me.
My one and only love.
The boy that keeps be flowing.
The inspiration to many lines and poems.
11:11 and 1:11pm are sacred to me.
I wait all night for 11:11pm.
I wait all day or 1:11pm
When they come I wish upon a star.
They say these times mean nothing.
They do not believe as I do.
I believe if you want something to happen in time then wish upon these times.
This is not a happy nor sad poem.
This is not a poem that says anything except one thing.
Wish upon a time.

The Lilac

The Lilac

The Lilac softly blowing in the summer wind spills a delicious taste and smell of summer and winter mixed as the snow falls on the ground everything turns white.
But The Lilac is what shows, Purple and visible in this white wonderland.
Sometimes pink sometimes blue and sometimes white when you see The Lilac blowing in the wind remember that day where it stood still.
Remember that day where it stood alone.
Remember the day it was called The Lilac.

War of the World

War Of The World

Death, pain, blood, shellshocked men, suffering and darkness.
It's all they ever saw.
Soldiers thinking of their lives.
Rotting flesh and the whimper of dying men with their bodies half blown off.
Other soldiers shooting them in the head to end their pain.
The shattering sound of an explosive destroying lives and more ground.
Blood and body parts spray through the air and spread throughout the ground.
Total emptiness and nothingness.
Mounds and mounds of burning bodies and horses.
Scattered planes, tanks, trucks and others.
Burning guns and oil.
Because the world went to war so much was lost for so little gain.
The war of the world shall never be forgotten.

The Untamable

The Untamable

I am a man speaking what's true.
The way you walk those walls is the way you walk on my heart.
You tear through the town breaking innocent hearts and souls.
No one will try and tame you.
I have tried and succeeded many a time.
I canot do it now. You are to much.
I always said I'd forgive you but you have hurt me to much.
I fear now for my life.
I have finally seen the real you.
The animal inside.
Your wild, dark, deadly and untamable.
Anyone who tries is a fool.
He will surly regret it as I have.
I can't bear the burden you give me.
This is the end of all ends.
The world as I know it is dissolving.
I told you once I loved you more then anything I could ever love.
That now is a lie.
I can now not say that without pain.
Your not tamable so I must say my goodbyes.
You will never find another.
Goodbye dear.

Boredom and An Extra Thought

Boredom And An Extra Thought

Bouncing around my mind.
Thoughts of something.
Cant get them to form a picture.
So I'm stuck.
Stuck with this thought.
Pacing around aimlessly.
Wishing.
Hoping.
Wondering what to do.
As I give in, it over takes me.
The one I feared.
Boredom.
When will that thought form?
I scream and thrash.
Why is it over coming my head?
My mind melts to nothing.
My words get swept away in the air.
My whole body and everything I am ceases to exist.
Why does boredom take such a hold?
I walk up and down in my thoughts.
Thinking.
Wondering.
Wishing.
Then it forms.
That one thought.
Was it really that important?
Was the reason I was bored because I was dormant?
I nor you shall ever know.

'twas the Night Before Hell

'Twas The Night Before Hell

'Twas the night before hell, when all through the darkness not a creature was stirring, not even a demon.
The body parts were hung on the gate without care, in hopes St. Satin would soon be there.
The demons were nestled all dead in their holes, while visions of death and the blood danced in their souls. Death in his cape and his demons had just came up from from the ground for the time of the darkness.
When out from the streets came such a sound that anything alive shuttered at the sound. Away to their duties they flew, tore open windows and blew the fear up as they flew. The moon on the breast o the new fallen snow gave the luster of sliver and gold on objects below.
When what to peoples surprise should appear but death and his twelve tiny demons. As dry leaves flew around before him like a wild hurricane. When he met with an obstacle he went right through it. So up to the houses of kids they flew, with a soul full of terrors and bad things to give.
In a twinkling he storms through your window, pawing at your blanket. As you awake from your dreams you see him, death. Dressed in a solid black cape from head too toe. His hood over his head, in a very scary looming fashion. How chilling his breath is upon your skin. His bones as cold as himself.
After his work is done, he goes back to his home. The darkness. Back to hell goes death and his demons.

Changed

Changed

There once was a man.
A man who loved me.
He left for a time.
When he returned.
He was not the same.
I had feared this would happen.
He said not  to worry.
I tried not to worry.
I ended up being right about worrying.
He said he went for us.
To save us.
We were fine in my mind.
I guess in his mind we were messed up.
I tried being perfect when he returned.
I couldn't help but show my disappointment.
In the end we left each other.
We never talked again.
I haven't heard from him since.
Yesterday I was walking the streets and saw him.
He had a beautiful wife and a daughter.
She called for her.
Piper was her name.
That was our dream.
They had rings.
They look so happy something I haven't been since we split.
He saw me standing there with tears running down my face.
He looked happy and sad about seeing me.
In the end I just left and went to a better place.
Somewhere I could look over him.
I was finally happy up there.
The moral to this poem is don't go or change if she pleads you not too.
