Dialogue of the Soul

In his stern deep expression
and his tender caring gestures
When he is in silence, also in solitude.

He concealed the mystery of love,
beauty, and the experiences
that he had encountered in life.

He reasons as he walks,
and contemplates every epiphany
that had happened in his past and present time.

He laughs and keep walking
as he shakes his head
then retreats as his heart races
panic and fear as his past comes alive.

He ask himself; is it all this true?
What’s going on?
Why are these ridiculous feelings?
He wants to disregard his emotions, but he can not.

Finally …. In his enlighten self debate
He, surrender down at his feet
Astonish at his finding.

Living In the Shadow

Our soul dwells on the land of the living
[Looking for answers] but it seems no one hears
Our soul wanders and mourns in silence for our children
We weep for our children soul and with bitterness we mourn.

Our hearts growl and moan like a bear
for justice we moan and moan,
We seek for men with compassionate hearts to intervene
How much blood has to be shed; until our grief is heard?
How long do we have to live in the shadow of the wicked?

The wicked grow like green grass and sow deep its’ roots
They go backsliding in the way of their own heart
We can hear on their path, violence as their feet runs to commit evil
Their roads are crooked and their vigor strengthens like a beast.

If, in our agony we seek for vengeance, who is the one who suffers?
Our innocent people, they are deprive from the truth
and the truth is not longer their shield. How can we defend ourselves?
When our oppressors are dressed with heavy armor and fear lack from them.

So, we cry out loud and lift our voices like a trumpet and say;
Is there anybody listening? Can any body feel our pain?
Is there anyone out there who can heal our pain and grief?
For our innocent children from every corner of our city have been slain.

There is no peace in our heart and our refuge is our silence
Our spirit is wounded to the dust waiting for someone to deliver us
We call upon our leaders of our cities and to those
who have eyes but can not see. You have promised us
to be our fortress, and security against our oppressor
vindicate us so we can find some peace and relief in our heart.

There Is Still Compassion On the Cross

I sat in the school of sorrow
the Master was teaching there
but, my eyes were dim with weeping
and my heart was heavy with care.

I could not learned my lesson
and say, “thy will be done”
and the Master came not near me,
as each weary day passed on.

Instead of looking upward
and seeing his face divine
so full of tenderness compassion
for he take care of weary hearts like mine.

I thought only of the burden
the cross that before me lay
so hard and heavy to carry
that it darkened the light of the day.

At last in my pain and sorrow
I look from the cross above
and I saw the Master watching
and his eyes glow of compassionate love.

You may not learned the lesson
‘Tis enough for thee to know
that I am the master and teacher
and give thee this cup of woe.

As I gazed at his face before me
I thought I heard him say,
“My child, you must bear the burden
And learn thy task today.”

I lost that weary sorrow
once I look at his face divine
gave me the power to trust him
to say once again, “thy will not mine.”

Sprouting Into My Self Realization

You lift me way up high
like a mountain to reach the top
then you quickly tear me down.

You caress me with love
And put me on a pedestal
then again you make me feel discourage.

You encourage me to dream
To reach for new horizons
and those dreams are shattered
when you conduct yourself afar of your ideology.

And in my ups and downs,
And every smile I give,
and in my effort to reach my dreams
……. I struggle.

I struggle to fulfill your expectations
I struggle to understand
your wants and emotions
[and in the process I lose sight of myself]
and what I want to become.

Knowing this, I open up
like a fragile rose that
Unfolds petal by petal
[and liberate the power that’s in me]
that lead me to trust and love myself
With hopes and dreams

I unfold …………

A Simple Rose

Buried beneath a concrete rock
A simple rose I am
The mud sunk my beauty
And time revolved passed my sphere.

The strongest stroke of the rain
Concealed my glare
and behind my back left scratches,
Trace, and marks of each season.

In between of a split of a rock
Sweet hands found me
and with immense kindness
restore my form.

I shone like the skyline
Like a lantern my light glow
and in between the magnificent luminary
This fragile rose shone.

Artistic hands of divine creation,
that transform the abstract and gives it worth
and awake the glimpse of the simple admirer
to contemplate a splendid and delicate rose.

In God Majesty Hands

In every path, that we take in our life
We walk with out recognizing
That in our boundless heaven
there, exist a spiritual being.

Full of divine qualities
in which we can not decipher
He brings us ever lasting hope
and supreme perpetuity friendship.

He protects and gives us
unconditional love and fidelity
Even as time passes by, he does not change
and there is no life form like him.

In this infinity of heavenly place
he takes a little place in our heart
to remind and exhorts us that
he is still the creator and our Lord.

Walk With Me.

You look at me like an outcast
Mark me because the color of my skin
Persecuted me without fear or judgment
I am a shadow of your own perception.

Equality has no witness
And your arrogance hurts me more
I have to passed your rooted standard
Although; my presence causes you bitterness

I beg you to walk with me
And search my quest and odyssey in time
And maybe you will find yourself
In my dwelling house of pain

In my path you will find
Many dictators with hurtful heart
That had caused pain and fear
In many innocent life

Come and crawl underneath my skin
And tell me, How you feel!
Are you surprise? Cause we are the same
 And yet not unified

I Miss You

Time has passed by, I still remembered
when I gave you my last kissed
you were lying there lifeless and there
were no words or spells that could bring you back.

I wanted to turned back the clock
but I couldn’t! Time was our worst enemy
and our precious life is in continuous timing
Click, Clack is the sound of time passing by.

Oh! I remembered it was like yesterday
That we used to played, sing songs as the sun
went down. I still shared all of these memories
your smile is still carved in my heart.

Today I treasure in my heart our precious memories
that are so vividly evoke in my heart.
I still feel your presence around me like my guardian angel
that lights up my deep and persistent sadness.

My grief showed me a new path to release the pain
and agony that I had carried all these years
and all of a sudden my spirit was lifted up
as my eyes open to see that we were never
apart it was just only a long........ good bye.

Silently You Capture Me

You capture me silently,
with your tender gaze
that unveils every peace of my soul
and as time passes by
I suddenly find myself naked.

You capture me with your
beautiful smile
and when we kiss you take
me away like the wind blows
and brings a fresh breeze
on a hot summer day
that fulfill everything without haste.

You capture me with your
kind touch
surround me with love
like a calm ocean that
relaxes me, until I
am at peace.

You capture me fearlessly
taking control of everything
and brings me to a place
where there is no regret or fear.

[You capture me, silently, fearlessly and without fear]

Farewell Friend

Oh! Time passed by so quickly
It seems like yesterday,
When you walked into our classroom
With a great smile and a glowing face
Like the sun, shines each and every day.

Soon you will be taking a journey
In which you have never traveled before
The time is [passing by] so quickly
And your heart is like a ticking clock.

You are leaving with a heart so full of love
To follow your hearts desire
So full of mystery and heroic excitement
Ready, for a great adventure and to fulfill your own desires.

Now, we have to say so long and see you later
Knowing that your enthusiasm and kindness
And your smile, is worth more than thousand of words
We will store them in our hearts, like a pearl hidden inside its clam.

We do not say Good Bye, it sounds like an eternity
We only say, so long! So long! Our dearest mate,
Bring us the wealth and fortune
Of every journey you take; but, never lose faith.

Farewell our dearest Friend.
