Meeting My Dream Girl

Meeting My Dream Girl
By Jeff Weiner

Anticipating when we will meet
Tomorrow cant come soon enough,
Hoping that our dreams come true
Starting with that first touch,

The talks we had on the phone
Brought me so at ease,
Comfort I thought was forgotten
Floated in your voice like a warm breaze,

Laughter shared with stories told
Conversations always grow,
Traveling across the miles to meet you
Finding the gold at the end of my rainbow,

Taking a chance on love
For this romantic feels natural,
Its worth the risk of happiness
And meeting my dream girl

The Day You Said Hello To Me

The Day You Said Hello To Me
By Jeff Weiner

You bring hope and sunshine into my life
The friendship and love unmeasurable,
Meeting was a blessing I treasure
Knowing you are there for me,

We bonded quite quickly
Talks that never end,
Not running out of things to say
Always feeling the love you send,

Unions like ours don’t come around often
Seeing our cares the same,
Minds and hearts blending together
Like melodies that sing me your name,

Differences accepted similarities appreciated
Laughter shared with glee,
The sun rose higher, my smile brighter
The day you said Hello to me

A Chance For Redemption

A Chance For Redemption
By Jeff Weiner

Worms and roaches crawl on me
Where am I at,
Musty odor ovecomes me
Feeling cold and trapped,

No room to move, air is thin
No light or sound to be had,
How did I get in this place
Was I really that bad,

Buried alive it seems
Thoughts are getting faint,
Trying to scratch my way out
Stuck in this lonely restraint,

Light flashing before my eyes
Wings and a hand appear,
Take hold if you want true happiness
Guiding over others so they wont end up here

The Treasure of Love

The Treasure of Love
by Jeff Weiner

The treasure of Love
By Jeff Weiner

The warrior searches the fields
Hiding from those who shall harm him,
The treasure he seeks is priceless
Chances of finding it seems slim,

Hate is looking along with envy
While shame and embarassment follow,
Deceit tries to take control
Now pride tells them where to go,

Following the light he can see the future
The heart always rings true,
The treasure is close within his grasp
Leading him only to you,

The search is over with the treasure now found
From the help of the light above,
Looking in your eyes showed him here
The treasure in his chest was LOVE

Sharing My Life With You

Sharing My Life With You
By Jeff Weiner

I sit here content with my life
Though never producing children or a wife,
Many trials and troubles I have seen
Walking my way through inbetween,

With family standing strong by my side
Keeping me open, not letting me hide,
Long distance hugs and I love you`s
Giving strength and courage to walk on through,

Diabetes from birth is still a fight
Admitting to drug adiction helps me see the light,
Learning to accept what is in front of me
Lets life move forward openly,

Knowing that love is in my heart
Keeps each day hopeful from the start,
Life is a jouney that will never end
This part of mine I`m happy to share with you my friend

Gargoyles

Gargoyles
By Jeff Weiner

Gargoyles perched upon the ledge
Watching the city by day,
Flying as protectors at night
Seen in motion by few they say,

If you are chosen as one
The story goes not well,
Its said that only the evil
See their fate just before they dwell,

Some believe they are heros to the good
While others preach they are devils with wings,
I believe that they are Gods on earth
With the myth and faith each brings,

The next time you look up
And see this creature in the sky,
As it decends down upon you
There is no need to ask why,

This city will now be safe at night
Protected by my friends, The Gargoyles

Resume For Love

Resume For Love
By Jeff Weiner

Tease and tease is how they play
When we react they stay away,
Love is not a game to me
Don’t play with feelings, let me be,

I seek a heart with true desire
Burning hot in passions fire,
I possess the same to share
Only approach if you honestly care,

Holding hands and snuggling close
Are affections I hold dear,
Late night talks and morning walks
Soft kisses are welcome here,

Honesty and friendship are first on my list
These are not negotiable,
If this is also what you seek
Please apply within and be sociable

Smile At a Stranger

Smile At A Stranger
by Jeff Weiner

Smile At A Stranger
By Jeff Weiner

The world is only cold if you let it be
Sharing the warmth of our heart
Reaching out to give a hug
Will make a day bright,

A smile goes deeper than we can see
While a frown cuts the surface,
One kind gesture
Improves life,

Evil words can tear a mind down
Where a caress can rebuild,
One slap can destroy a moment
That a hug can replace,

Before raising a hand or lashing a tongue
Think of the harm it may cause,
Calmer words will find an answer
And make you grateful for the pause,

Each day is beautiful from the start
If we choose to see it bloom,
Smiling at a stranger
Brings love to an empty room

Confused

Confused
By Jeff Weiner

Does confusion set in or just get uncovered
Today I am lost but comfortable being there,
Brain spinning around with no intention to stop
Waiting for clarity to share,

With one step forward and two more back
Walking the wheel of life,
Thinking seems to get me in trouble
Running blindly into trife,

Tasting pleasures briefly before losing my tongue
Seeing beauty to behold,
Happiness visits occaisionally
Then finding a heart so cold,

A Daydream brings satisfaction
If only for a minute,
Escaping this twisted world
For the moment I am in it

Tasting the Flower

Tasting The Flower
By Jeff Weiner

Such a pretty flower, smooth and sweet
Down on my knees I`m ready to eat,
Licking my lips, moistening for taste
Opportunities like this were not meant to waste,

The nectar flows down the chin
More each time the tongue goes in,
Swirling around, then in and out
Smiling each time more nectar comes out,

Moans of ecstacy buzzing in wait
As this bee begins to pollinate,
Petals wet with evening dew
Glistening after what they went through,

Nature brings its slight rest
Getting ready again to take the test,
Once more feeding on nectar so sweet
Now protecting this flowers ultimate treat.
