Gargoyles

Gargoyles By Jeff Weiner Gargoyles perched upon the ledge Watching the city by day, Flying as protectors at night Seen in motion by few they say, If you are chosen as one The story goes not well, Its said that only the evil See their fate just before they dwell, Some believe they are heros to the good While others preach they are devils with wings, I believe that they are Gods on earth With the myth and faith each brings, The next time you look up And see this creature in the sky, As it decends down upon you There is no need to ask why, This city will now be safe at night Protected by my friends, The Gargoyles
