In the Fields

That night in the fields
As the moon hung low
Its light among the darkened grass
The wind blew cool
Playing with the stars as they shone
And there
In the midsts of their twinkles
I saw your face
Your love breaking the night
Shinning brighter than day
I felt peace
In your arms
Among your words
My sanity
As I stood in the wake of your shadow
You stand tall and proud
Of all you done
In this life
Everyone loves you
None more than I do
That night
In the fields
As the moon climbed high
Its pale glow fading slowly
I found my place
And though the stars
Twinkled into the light
As the sun mounted its horizon
I could still see your face
Rolling softly in the clouds
Making it clear
That I will always have a place

Death of a Sheep

You have fallen
Into the well of society's will
Giving them your power
You have rendered yourself useless
Not until now
When your soul
Has been ripped from your body
That lays still against their lies
Do you realise this reality
Your fading breaths
Caught in their nets of deception
Escape from you
You are alone
In your misery
Stiffled by your stupidity
You sleep alone
As you blood
Tainted
Fills you room of wool

The Shine

She's dying
And it's your fault
The pain won't stop
New scars open up
To drench her life
To eat her wings
Tear her beauty
Then bleed her heart
To see the the shine
Dim
Dangerously low
I feel the lake
Fill with tears
To dance at Death's door
Till the shine runs out
And all that's left
Is it's singe on the heart
And my memory
she has died
You're free
Because there was never a shine
Left in me

Forgotten

Born into loneliness
Rejected at first glance
I am claimed by the merciless
To lay naked
Before the eyes of the silent
Forgotten in emerald under growth
My mind lost
Wanders to comfort
It stays among the few common
Never wanting to leave
The pasture of imaginary love
Alone
I stay with what peace is left
I am not meant to be among others
My calmness is shattered
Broken by the bold and the proud
They will not leave me to my delusions
Leave my mind scattered
One stranger insists upon my wholeness
To destroy my dream
My pasture
My world
Forgotten
I am alone again
