The Shine

She's dying And it's your fault The pain won't stop New scars open up To drench her life To eat her wings Tear her beauty Then bleed her heart To see the the shine Dim Dangerously low I feel the lake Fill with tears To dance at Death's door Till the shine runs out And all that's left Is it's singe on the heart And my memory she has died You're free Because there was never a shine Left in me
