F-5 Tornado

The warm temperature drops outdoors,
    And first drops of fresh rain sprinkle.
      The thunder claps right above me,
         As lightening is striking afar.
         Dust is blowing in the wind,
         Trees are bending fiercely,
            A train horn blares,
              As the core nears me.
              Then sudden silence,
             A calm reappears.
              Electrical fires start,
               For a moment one
            Thinks it’s over,
             Then it starts
              Again quickly.
                 Passing by my  
                Home taking
                 My neighbors,    
                  Tin flying by,
                   The tornado
                      Fades, look                   
                         At all the
                            Damage.
                                 And I 
                                     Am
                                       Uns

                                                           d.

My poem is about Tornadic weather and evokes
Water in, 'first drops of fresh rain sprinkle'
Wind in, 'Trees are bending fiercely'
Earth in 'Dust is blowing in the wind'
Metal in 'Tin flying by'
Fire in, 'Electrical fires start'

Day of Reckoning

Above bleak pastures, A cobalt coliseum: Warriors are unleashed. · Aggressive brave clouds, Battle for the dominance: Vanquishment is vague. · Conquest of power, Clash of divine elements: Battle in the sky. · Sun and clouds collide, On a battlefield landscape: The land prays for reign. · The golden swords pierce, As injured clouds hemorrhage: Pelting the pastures. · With sharp swords of light. The golden gladiator: Obtains victory.

Her Stilettos

.    The sound of
   Stilettos         coming   home. 
  The echo                            reverberates
 In the empty hall,
My heart
Salivates,
And my soul
Is at pure    ease
To know             that 
Its soul                   mate 
Has come                    home. 
In the                              morning
 Stilettos                                 make
  Deep                                         sounds
   Of their                                            lone
    Departured                                         echoes.
      My                                                         mind
        Yearns                                                     and
         Waits                                                         for
           The                                                           sound to                    return.
            The                                                            satisfying sound  of   resounding
              Steps                                                         from the one I love                to satisfy
                Step                                                           their way down the             long corridor. 
                  The                                                            countdown  begins  after  the evening news 
                    I                                                                like    to  wait  and  listen  to  the  beauty  of
                     The                                                            last 10  steps reciting     their poems in taps
                      In                                                               a rhythmic sequence      of  poetic bliss.
                      10                                                                      -9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1...I’m home.

Love Poetry

If only for a moment,
I could swoop you away.
I’d plan an entire night,
Easing the stress of the day.

Fresh cut roses in a vase,
And a candle lit dinner.
My mind races with thoughts,
And girl, you’re the winner.

Delve into this ecstasy,
For my love’s not a mirage.
After your lovely dinner,
I’d give you a massage.

Take the load off your feet,
And let my fingers flow.
Lets just sail away,
To wherever this may go.

I want to see you chill,
And clear out your head.
Relaxing with no worries,
As the best lies ahead.

With a cluster of grapes,
And a little red wine.
A hint of soft music,
For you to unwind.

Releasing your tension,
I like to see you smiling.
And the layers of fun,
Are just now compiling.

A late walk on the beach,
Unforgettable memories on sand.
I’d be your noble servant,
Every wish at your command.

If you need to get away,
Come spend an evening with me.
Our action’s would write a book,
Of the greatest love poetry.

The echoes of that day,
Choke the flow of moving on.
Tattered memories...encased,
...of loved ones who have forgone.

We miss our sons and daughters,
But the Good Lord called them home.
We must embrace Thy course of time,
For the winds of change have blown.

Though America still weeps,
We’re still the home of the brave.
I’m proud to be from this land,
Where the flag still proudly waves.

Crimson Rain

On a still...ancient horizon, Massive dragon wings emerge, To the atmospheric battlefield. Where two legendary beasts, Clash for the love...of a dragoness. A battle of mythic proportions, Of two stonily serpents in the sky. Only three dragons remain, The two wary warriors, And the dragoness they fight for. The flap of enormous wings, Thunders the air abroad. The fire in the sky illustrates, That the battle has begun. Fierce deafening roars, Rape the quiet Delphi skies. In a solemn brave attempt, To win the dragoness’ heart. She rests...nestled in the mountains, For the winning warrior’s return. Strident screams pierce the heavens, From the vicious violent brutality. Aggressive attacks resonate, Vibrating her lair of stone, As she shivers in despair and wonder. Sharp talons pierce the scales, Shredding the tissue of life. Effervescent mists spray, Staining the clouds with gore. A thud hits the landscape, And her attentive attention reacts. Waiting with complete ambition, A second thud thumps the landscape. Curious eyes creep from the cave, She wrestles with the thought of extinction, As both...her warriors are slain, Laying lifelessly...in a crimson rain.
