I Was

I was kind and I was caring, yet you refused to take notice.

I was considerate and I was respectful, yet you refused to take notice.

I was good and I was special, yet you refused to take notice.

I was athletic and I was talented, yet you refused to take notice.

I was smart and I was outgoing, yet you refused to take notice.

I was popular and I was accepted, yet you refused to take notice.

I was scared and I was alone, yet you refused to take notice.

I was tired and I was sick, yet you refused to take notice.

I was hiding in the shadow of the mold you created for me and I was overwhelmed, yet you refused to take notice.

I was losing my grip and I was slowly falling, yet you refused to take notice.

I was here and now I’m gone, maybe, just maybe, you’ll take notice.

Existence

To want so badly to leave
	To continue to believe
So many boundaries I dare to cross
So many dreams I've already tossed
No more tears left to cry
No more pain left to feel
No more favors left to give
No more heart left to steal
	My soul mocks me
	My spirit long since drowned
	My being is dead
	My existence never found.

Where My Soul Lives

My body lives here, but my soul is absent.

My soul lives…

Where “I love you” has meaning.

Where parenthood is an honor and a privilege.

Where a house is a home.

Where the best meal is served at Grandmas’ house.

My body lives here, but my soul is absent.

My soul lives…

Where “Hello” makes a stranger a friend.

Where friendship is an action.

Where a neighborhood houses my friends.

Where a friend becomes family.

My body lives here, but my soul is absent.

My soul lives…

Where birthdays are a celebration of life.

Where flowers are the most beautiful art work.

Where honeysuckles are the sweetest candy.

Where the stars lead the way.

My body lives here, but my soul is absent.

My soul lives…

Where there is no hate.

Where honesty is the only way.

Where laughter heals the sick.

Where miracles exist.

Where dreams come true.

My body lives here, but my soul is absent.

My soul lives…

Where there are no goodbyes.

Sexy Lover

I feel your heart pounding,
Your hands as they shake,
Your fingers caress me,
As I begin to wake.

I look into your eyes,
The deepest of blue,
You begin to part your lips,
And whisper “I want you”.

My heart is melting,
My knees begin to quiver,
I begin to embrace,
The kisses you deliver.

From a peck on lips,
To kisses on my neck,
Down my neck to my chest,
As you kiss my begging breasts,

Kissing down my stomach,
My breathing is so deep,
Your face between my thighs,
My climax will be steep.

I’m moaning and squirming,
I scream in delight,
Please don’t stop,
I’m reaching my height.

You bring me so close,
I’m continuing to quiver,
“Let me get closer”, you say,
“Please let me enter”.

You feel so good,
As I feel you inside,
I’m consumed with pleasure,
As you push and glide.

You treat me as a woman,
A respected sexy lover,
Don’t ever stop,
I want to feel like this forever.

Quilt

As I stare at my life, I touch the woven quilt that has now become pictures of the past.

Woven in patches, my past pain, my present pain, long ago fallen tears, and tears that refuse to stop falling.

The silky border, a reminder that all will stay with me and there is no escape.

The thread that holds it all together, a promise that I will walk on my bumpy road and smooth out the paths of souls I cross.

The inside cotton, a soft place inside me that is hidden but only appreciated through the tears and rips between my patches of pain.

Turn Around

Turn Around

Lost and losing control.
How much longer do I play this role?

All is fine, a smile on my face.
How long do I stay in this unhappy place?

I live my life only through you.
Shadows of who I want to be block my view.

I feel so attached to you, afraid to walk away.
But at the same time I know I can’t stay.

I’m not sure where we went from good to bad.
I’m not sure where you went from happy to mad.

I can’t continue to be the object of your anger and pain.
Sooner or later it will drive me insane.

I have to leave now and this time I won’t turn around.
I have to save myself while myself can still be found.

Could You

Could you believe in me,
In my dreams and all I want to be?

Could you mate my soul,
Even though life has taken its toll?

Could you forgive my past,
Since my mistakes have been many and my wrong turns vast?

Could you embrace all that I am,
Knowing that I’m weak and I can hardly stand?

Could you search my spirit,
Knowing it’s full of happiness each time you come near it?

Could you respect my what’s in my mind,
Even the jumbled thoughts you may find?

Could you believe in me,
And love every part of what you see?

My Wall

I sit in my room alone and I cry.

In my heart I find the urge to die.

The earth so cold I want to fly.

In my heart I find the urge to die.

So many times I’m forced to say goodbye,

And in my heart I find the urge to die.

If you look too close you’ll find sadness in my eyes,

Cause in my heart I find the urge to die.

I’ve searched so long and I can’t find that special guy,

So in my heart I find the urge to die.

I have hope I have dreams, I want to touch the sky,

But in my heart but I find the urge to die.

To be good and wholesome, God knows I try,

Still in my heart I find the urge to die.

From sun up to sun down I fight this massive craving,

But the voice in head refuses to stop raving.

I rise up, I stand tall, I lean against it all,

Things will get better as long as God is my wall.

You

You make me smile when I don’t feel I can
You make me laugh when it isn’t my plan
You warm my heart like no one else could
You open me up when I swore I never would
You brighten my soul and make me glow
You enter my thoughts more then you know
You pick me up when I feel down
Your voice is the most perfect sound
Your heart so big and full of love
Your soul could only be sent from above
Your kindness and smile so real
Your honesty a relief I feel
You just seem too good to be true,
Like you dropped from the sky, right out of the blue,
You make me afraid to take love chance,
But a moment with you is worth it, know that in advance.

Thank you for finding me
So long I’ve been lost
Thank you for being there
Reguardless the cost

Time

A moment lost.
A path not chosen.
A chance not taken.
A breath missed.
A heartbeat skipped.
A time forgotten.
I can't get it back...
I can't get it back.
