Decision

I made a big decision,
just the other day.
It was life changing,
in more than just one way.

Ode the Rain

With out rain what would we do?
What would we drink?
What about food?

Its helps us out
Every year
It grows our cotton
So we have something to wear

With out rain what would we do?
 Would we walk around naked?
 What about you?

Love

Love is like a river, flowing swiftly,
always changing.
Like a blanket on a windy cold day, warms you quickly,
its so amazing.

It's the candle that lights your way,
on the darkest of days.
Surprises you with gifts,
in the sweetest of ways.

The reassuring sense
that now matter what you do,
there will always be someone there to say,
I love you.

Trying

Trying to forget about loving him,
knowing the chances that we'll get back together are pretty slim.
Can't stop no matter what i do,
want to pretend that i'm over you.
Knowing that its a lie.
Trying to feel happy,
but failing try as i might.
Getting scared about moving on to a different life,
knowing that what evers to come there will be plenty of strife.
Mean, sad, happy faces,
i'll see them every day.
Strange, new, exciting places,
they'll all come my way.
Trying to be brave, strong, and confident.
Trying to remeber tons of things,
like smiling and thanking when i get a compliment.
Acting well behaved to set an example,
trying to keep my head up so as not to get trampled.
Glad your feeling satisfied,
even though im almost petrified.

Hungry For Words

My eyes are hungry,
like a ravionous beast
To eat the words up
like a tasty treat

no matter how much i read
i just dont seem to get enough!
i try to take my time with it...
but my eyes just gobble them up

vampires, westerns,
romance and more
i read till my eyes blur
or till my head is sore

the hours fly by
paled and insignificant
but who really cares
when the world your living in
 is so vastly magnificant

adventures your in, they never end
with prince charming at your side
or stuck on an island
because your plane crashed and you almost died

you walk into to a library
and heave a sigh
a choice has to be made
but its yours to decide

I Am a Rose

i am a rose,
My body made of many layers
Filled with strength and several prayers

Sun and water are food to my soul,
Like my parents trimming, tender touch, and trust
For with out them I’d wilt, dry up, and turn to dust

I am determined, courageous and rarely blue
Some say a rose means I love you
I am a rose with a stem straight and true.

Horrible Dream

I had a Horrible dream just the other night.
About this girl who is very tight,
with this one boy who just happens to be,
my boyfriend. And now you see
what a predicament I'm in,
Since the dream also included him.

Lets set the scene in the living room
And set the mood to happy, which will soon turn to gloom
So there we are just as happy as can be
till the girl suddenly turns to me and says pleasantly,
He cant, He loves me. Shocked at her words I have nothing to say
thinking to my self what a horrible day.

So instead I turn to him and ask is this true?
he assures me that it is. Now I do know what to do.
He tells me he has loved her for a while.
He avoids eye contact, but still I stare at him in denial.
Not being able to comprehend,
that our relationship has just come to an end.

Till realizations dawns on me,
and I run to him and start hitting him bruetly.
Sobs escape my mouth as i cry hysterically, how could you!?
Do I mean nothing? Did what we have not matter to you?
He says he's even had her physically. I asked him surely it wasn't as good.
But he disagrees and says he would like to leave, that he should.

My heart just crushed like a ball of play do,
as I lay on the floor sobbing no.
I couldn't believe he'd lied to me,
used me then traded me for another she.
And that's about the time I woke up,
My pillow wet from all the tears it soaked up.

The horror of the dream still fresh,
my stomach tightened. I told my self I'd rather face death,
then to ever have to live though that dream.
It felt so real, it seemed.
But I reassured myself it was not,
and I fell back asleep tears still streaming and a nose dripping snot.

Passing Period

Pushing, Shoving.
Whisphers, Cussing.
Your one of many,
In a walking croud with plenty.
Finding your way through the maze
can be really crazy.

People gathered in groups
blocking your paths.
Some people walking slow,
others too fast.
You feel like they're steping on you.
their breath on your back.

Every one has their on path in mind,
criss crossing trails swerve in and out.
Some people confident,
others in doubt.
Hot tempered boys bump,
and a fight breaks out.

Passing people you hear bits of gossip.
Something about a cute guy named Rob.
Sue dropped out.
Fred lost his job.
There's a party at my house.
And who won the fight that just broke out.

The minute bell rings.
Conversation cut short.
People run faster,
then they ever did berfore.
If they graded p.e based on that,
Everone would have an A,
And that's a fact.

Fairy

She was a dainty little thing,
her eyes pretty, soft, and green.
Her skin so soft and very clean,
almost the shade of vanilla cream.

And as she stood on a tiny leaf stem,
she was barely taller then a pen.
So she had to stand up on her toes,
when she tried to smell the rose.

All was silent all around,
untill you heard the faintest sound.
With all the strength that she could muster,
her baby wings began to flutter.

Higher and higher she rose in the air,
triailing along her lush auburn hair.
As away farther and farther she flew,
the smaller and smaller her body grew.

And thus I asked myself one question.
	was she real?
or a figment of my imagination.
