I Am a Rose

i am a rose, My body made of many layers Filled with strength and several prayers Sun and water are food to my soul, Like my parents trimming, tender touch, and trust For with out them I’d wilt, dry up, and turn to dust I am determined, courageous and rarely blue Some say a rose means I love you I am a rose with a stem straight and true.
