Trying

Trying to forget about loving him, knowing the chances that we'll get back together are pretty slim. Can't stop no matter what i do, want to pretend that i'm over you. Knowing that its a lie. Trying to feel happy, but failing try as i might. Getting scared about moving on to a different life, knowing that what evers to come there will be plenty of strife. Mean, sad, happy faces, i'll see them every day. Strange, new, exciting places, they'll all come my way. Trying to be brave, strong, and confident. Trying to remeber tons of things, like smiling and thanking when i get a compliment. Acting well behaved to set an example, trying to keep my head up so as not to get trampled. Glad your feeling satisfied, even though im almost petrified.
