Cancan In the Sky
Moulin Rouge in the sunset sky
The clouds hold their skirts and kick high the cancan
 The hill where I stand
 As Montmatre
And I in some small way
 Like Sacre-Coeur
Look on affected by the scene
Pierre August Renoir or Claude Monet
 Would paint this
 Were they able...

The Sun
Seemed impossible but here we are

At first it was very bizarre
But you made all my past scar
And all the bad is now far.
Smoking your cigar
And never saying "au revoir"
I am the luckiest cookie in the jar
You're better than Renoir.
You are the brightest star,
The Sun....

Reality Celebs
Their art is not less enticing
than a Renoir or Botticelli,
but the light of their charm is vacuous.
They love that backlit glow
if it highlights only upon them,
but that glitter is only a penumbra.
Goslings have more light
as they follow
a glimmer of imprinted blood.
Snails exude more illumination....

Premium Member In No Way Interested
It is a Renoir she said.
I was in no way interested.
The only artist I feel is less interesting is Monet.
But I liked her, so I agreed to go to the art exhibit.
One of Renoir's paintings intrigued me.
Captured a bit of my heart and soul.
I sat and stared at The Bathers for a long time.
Ready to go? She asked.
Not yet....

Premium Member Sedoka Contest-Where's the Picasso
Where’s the Picasso
I don’t know where you hung it
Or is it under the bed?

Well it was below
And just like the Van Gogh, it
Is now hanging in the shed

Now you’ve gone too far
Tell me you left the Leo
Plus our best Dali collage

Well, since the Renoir
Has a gigantic ego
They are both in the garage

Premium Member Hidden In a Painting
Mystical hidden lady
Possibly naked to others eyes
I see you clearly and instantly

Are you leading me down this pretty path
Or blocking me from the path?

Your neck is delicate.
Dress slightly off your shoulder.
You are a temptress.

So you are enticing me then?
I will follow you gladly

Knowing Renoir placed you here
with artistic purpose....

Monet's brush strokes blend to show Argenteuil and Seine. Monet, Renoir prized evoking faded light and scene Told to Lilla Cabot, US artist "painting means slight around you," Frame a blue sib, a rose oblong, a fair line, and paint it as you view.

Touching 6 Years of Being Human
I last-touch
the tiny giggle
of the hand that carelessly lets go
a moment of a horizon-less lifetime.

And she lifts her head
encoppered curly hair
framing the face
that uncle Chagall will want to possess on canvas,
Raphael will woo with the charm of a Reborn man,
Renoir will gently daub in moving light.

I take away the giggle
and delicately arrange a small place
for it to nestle off to sleep
among the most gentle, manly words
I can release from my heart....
