CHARIOT OF FIRE - a collab with P Callus

CHARIOT OF FIRE I stand in silence and behold the sight, staring in wonder, waiting for thunder. A chariot of fire travels through the night. The white-winged horses gallop in full flight pulling at the reins; flowing are their manes I stand in silence and behold the sight. Where are they going? There’s a shining light leading all the way, so they will not stray. A chariot of fire travels through the night amidst the heaven where in pure delight resides the Master, the sweetest lover, I stand in silence and behold the sight; Blessings whisked to amble slowly with plight; heartbeats race to sway, courage on display. A chariot of fire travels through the night armoured by God’s spirit. They ride like knights fearless from pain; victory, their peak gain. I stand in silence and behold the sight; a chariot of fire travels through the night. ©O.E.Guillermo and P.Callus Written last 5:07 pm, November 17, 2014

Grandma

The world did wear you down and on you passed.
Nightmares of young did press your eyes to close,
But God has gathered you and him at last.

Today we mourn for you, with hearts half-mast,
Today your joy above joins here our woes.
The world did wear you down and on you passed.

Now Zion holds you in its streets, so vast,
Your withered hands and shining soul repose.
But God has gathered you and him at last.

Gehenna reaps none of what it has cast,
Sheol takes skins and God what he now sows.
The world did wear you down and on you passed.

The space where you once stood won’t fill so fast,
Your words will warm in us what hate once froze,
But God has gathered you and him at last.

Go meet Allah and He, your loves, in grassed,
Unfettered fields. Your death on Earth now shows
The world did wear you down and on you passed,
But God has gathered you and him at last.

A Daydream

What if I was Esther and named queen?
Could I be beautiful, brave, and bold?
I would—at least in my daydream.

Pianos would ne’er need practicing,
Mother would not hover and scold,
What if I was Esther and named queen?

My face would shine with love all agleam,
I would drink from goblets made of gold,
I would—at least in my daydream.

Death would befall all Haman’s team,
Victory for my people would unfold,
What if I was Esther and named queen?

I would ruin Haman’s odious scheme,
Righteousness and justice I would uphold,
I would—at least in my daydream.

Lord, I can just picture the scene,
I would lavish thanks uncontrolled,
I would—at least in my daydream.
What if I was Esther and named queen?

My Heart is Yours My Love Now Forever

My Heart is Yours My Love Now Forever

My heart is yours my love now forever,
As your fiery passion enchants my soul.
I shall with such love desert you never.

Our life is now filled with joy and pleasure,
As we share life with so much to extol.
My heart is yours my love now forever.

The desire we share is Earth’s great treasure,
Making our souls one—a heavenly goal.
I shall with such love desert you never.

Our love knows no bounds of passion ever,
As we follow God’s plan and pledge so bold.
My heart is yours my love now forever.

Your beauty my love brings me such pleasure,
Knowing its worth exceeds all Heaven’s gold.
I shall with such love desert you never.

Our love as one is a grand endeavor,
In God’s light as two spirits with one soul.
My heart is yours my love now forever.
I shall with such love desert you never.

The Lord

We cannot go wrong with God on our side
He is a present help in our time of need
The Lord is our helper, our strength, our guide

In the word of the Lord we shall abide
We shall err not from faith nor covet greed
We cannot go wrong with God on our side

He was beaten for us and crucified
Exalt Him! He’s worthy; fall on your knees
The Lord is our helper, our strength, our guide

The Lord is the groom and we are the bride
Magnify his goodness in word and in deed
We cannot go wrong with God on our side

Trust in the Lord; in Him, your troubles confide
Be of good courage, the Lord will be pleased
The Lord is our helper, our strength, our guide

Whatever the need the Lord will provide
To impurity and lasciviousness take heed
We cannot go wrong with God on our side
The Lord is our helper, our strength, our guide

Rest In Eternal Peace

Earthly rags are cast away at heaven's gates
Every one will stand before Him, awaiting their fate
Clothed with robes of peace or naked in disgrace.

Before the Judgment Seat, He awaits each case
All souls are before Him, all will see His face
Earthly rags are cast away at heaven's gates.

Those who lived in His peace, secure and safe
Those who lived in their hate, death's bitter taste
Clothed with robes of peace or naked in disgrace.

All humankind, every tribe, tongue and race
Called before The Lord, they will await
Earthly rags are cast away at heaven's gates.

Christ on His Throne, beyond time and space
Books are opened, His decrees will take place
Clothed with robes of peace or naked in disgrace.

No mortal can escape their destiny and fate
One must trust the Savior, or it will be too late
Earthly rags are cast away at heaven's gates
Clothed with robes of peace or naked in disgrace.

Watch Over Me

"Oh how I want, oh how I plea."
To that Big Guy in the clouds,
Yes, Someone to watch over me

Should I ever enlightened be
still to spirits and saints pray
But need someone to watch over me

Images of gods as mother or daddy
or pictures of anglicized Jesus
Oh how I want, oh how I plea

Hope my god holds me so easily
As into heaven I want to go
Someone, Oh yes to watch over me

Wondering at all the glory I see
Is this really all there is
Oh how I plea, and how I plea

After the millionth or so glory
Sadly wondering at this story,
Oh my god how must I plea
For someone to watch over me!

To You, O Lord, I beg and sigh

What is my hope in this life?
Without You, under the skies, there’s only hell.
To You, O Lord, I beg and sigh!

Rejections, taunts, helplessness, all kinds of strife,
People, homes, values, all things in peril,
What is my hope in this life?

You expose my heart to tempests; I cry
In deep anguish, I beseech and kneel -
To You, O Lord, I beg and sigh!

Stir my heart to seek You; let not my spirit dry,
For with your absence in this tough duel -
What is my hope in this life?

My little mind cannot equal your wisdom so high,
Amid confusion I am a wondering, wandering fool,
To You, O Lord, I beg and sigh!

Helping grace and love you will abundantly supply;
Under the heavens - will be glory eternal.
What is my hope in this life -
To You, O Lord, I beg and sigh!

of God..."

This poem is offered to the people of Iraq ( the Yazidis and other minorities)
going through persecution. Let us pray that they may have the strength to
face all the adversities confronting them as God envelops them with His
immense love and mercy.

The Time Store

I want to go to the time store and buy more
Another year another day to
Enjoy simple things we didn't make time for.

We could sit on the beach and watch the shore
Go to a still lake and fish from a canoe
I want to go to the time store and buy more.

I want to keep every promise to you I ever swore
Bake fresh bread with you to dip in cheese fondue
Enjoy simple things we didn't make time for.

Let's tell our kids all of your family lore
Adopt new kittens and listen to their mew
I want to go to the time store and buy more.

Let's paint a rainbow using every color
Mix and invent new ones with a unique hue
Enjoy simple things we didn't make time for.

With bent knees, we'll pray on the floor
Praise God for little things like morning dew
I want to go to the time store and buy more
Enjoy simple things we didn't make time for.

I say there is no god.

It's already too odd
The world is just for us
I say there is no god

I might not want to nod
But I just think I must
It's already too odd

I don't want a squad
Ready to blow a bus
I say there is no god

The opinions may be broad
But it all comes back to cuss
It's already too odd

There is no need to cod
The problems should have rust
I say there is no god

In truth, it's all so flawed
Why do we discuss
it's already too odd
I say there is no god.

Joyfilled

My heart is filled with happiness today
Spreading sunshine makes me sing
Nothing will dampen my spirit, I pray

Traveling alone down life’s pathway
Holding the hand of heaven’s King
My heart is filled with happiness today

I see fellow travelers filled with dismay
Knowing not to God they should cling
Nothing will dampen my spirit, I pray

From His presense never let me stray
Knowing that salvation He did bring
My heart is filled with happiness today

To be counted among the saints, I did obey
To live in heaven’s eternal spring
Nothing will dampen my spirit, I pray

So with my heart light, my voice will ring
Praising God for each and everything
My heart is filled with happiness today
Nothing will dampen my spirit, I pray

Gnashing of Teeth: Memoirs of Hell's Lost Battles

Encircled in fire and pain, the angels sought flight,
Torrents of misery to thy soul, frozen and bound
Immobilized by very hand of God this night.

The feared legions down from below did fight,
Gave it some hell and brought heaven around,
Encircled in fire and pain, the angels sought flight.

Angels fearful to tread in this vapid absence of light,
Absconding to seek him, heavens hallowed crowned,
Immobilized by the very hand of God this night.

Losing lust for battle for fiery lands was the plight,
Downtrodden and fearing his plans ran aground and
Encircled in fire and pain, the angels sought flight.

But God had the answer for setting this all right,
Took the power of love, then hellish grins frowned,
Immobilized by the very hand of God this night.

Dear God it took your heavenly grace and sight
Of love, to see, yet he found them tired and downed
Encircled in fire and pain, the angels sought flight,
Immobilized by the very hand of god this night.

Villanelle Ask not What the Devil's the Devil

Villanelle: Ask not What the Devil’s the Devil !

Ask not What the Devil’s the Devil
Back to back with the Holy Being
When Good snakes what leads not to Evil

God! Why can’t the doG be forged on anvil
Black sparks from Whitesmiths black doG yelling
Ask not What the Devil’s the Devil

Einsteins Heisenbergs delved atom’s navel
Yet true Truman dropped bombs without trying*
When Good snakes what leads not to Evil

Ask not why go(o)d GOD won’t quell Evil
Nor why BAD dab at GO(o)D reigning
Ask not What the Devil’s the Devil

Good needs Evil much as God the Devil
Watch male-fe-male in abject writhing
When Good snakes what leads not to Evil

Only Time makes not the picture stand still
The end of Day lets drop the ceiling
Ask not What the Devil’s the Devil
When Good snakes what leads not to Evil

* He could have dropped them on some deserted Pacific atoll first to warn the Enemy.

Villanelle: The Dilemma of the Non-Violent – 45

Sound the gongs Blow the trumpets Let pigeons soar
The most well-kept secret’s about to be sawn
At last Great Leaders can reveal the true Law

Who makes worlds go round and round like swinging door
Who turns on firmament lights like on home lawn
Sound the gongs Blow the trumpets Let pigeons soar

Who drew Andromeda into Milky Way’s maw
Who raised Wall of Galaxies as tennis lawn
At last Great Leaders can reveal the true Law

Who made glacial periods run like mad wild boar
Who swung meteorites like golf balls every dawn
Sound the gongs Blow the trumpets Let pigeons soar

Truth ricochets like Le Bourget planes roar
The secret’s hidden from us poor folks ill-born
At last Great Leaders can reveal the true Law

Thanks to COP21 we now know much more
NATURE is the plaything of those who use brawn
Sound the gongs Blow the trumpets Let pigeons soar
At last Great Leaders can reveal the true LAW

Villanelle: The Dilemma of the Non-Violent- 38

More the man-made gods the more the quarrel
Who wants to pray in a private night-club
Each faithful thinks his god’s beyond riddle

Where faithfuls gather their gods aren’t idle
Rather would they arm theirs to teeth with club
More the man-made gods the more the quarrel

Strange each nation sports some god from cradle
Nations want exclusive membership club
Each faithful thinks his god’s beyond riddle

All nations dream holding World by bridle
So they give their gods the fossil fumes rub
More the man-made gods the more the quarrel

When words from gods one another needle
Do they hesitate to reach for the club
Each faithful thinks his god’s beyond riddle

Now that gods got our Earth in a throttle
Will ONLY GOD intervene: that’s the rub
More the man-made gods the more the quarrel
Each faithful thinks his god’s beyond riddle

Blame not the man whose mind is not his own
From birth to death he’ll do what he’s told
Must he not those who’re not his kind disown

Does the killer kill what to him is unknown
When does he decide when When he makes bold
Blame not the man whose mind is not his own

Do those who are killed kill in the Unknown
Killer who killed Who cast him in mind mould
Must he not those who’re not his kind disown

Who does the killer kill if not his own
Who’s the real killer Can it be told
Blame not the man whose mind is not his own

The mind that’s massaged from birth makes no moan
Neither those who kill by proxy for gold
Must he not those who’re not his kind disown

When each god must swallow words not his own
How might those bred into belief take hold
Blame not the man whose mind is not his own
Must he not those who’re not his kind disown

Don't Let Him Knock

How I love the evenings when I walk
into the deep, cerulean night
I pray to God, don’t let him knock.

He parades around the sins I lock
away and try to keep from sight
How I love the evenings when I walk.

He tempts me then to join his flock
may my soul not give to such benight
I pray to God don’t let him knock.

He points me to the ticking clock,
this beast, I know I cannot fight.
How I love the evenings when I walk.

It’s we sheep whom he does love to stalk
tangled up in all our plight
I pray to God don’t let him knock.

So if you hear his voices mock
they’ll drain you of remaining light.
How I love the evenings when I walk
I pray to God don’t let him knock.

Brand not NATURE God word fallen in misuse
As if it were an all-pervading spirit
Principle rules laws all physical in use

NATURE eludes all mental means to confuse
IT stands not still for anyone to pin IT
Brand not NATURE God word fallen in misuse

Ignore the myths the holy words made obtuse
The mystery’s in the vastness made to fit
Principle rules laws all physical in use

IT rules supreme and has no use for our Muse
Nor for the genuflections of our spirit
Brand not NATURE God word fallen in misuse

IT takes life at will though one suspects a ruse
Is life ours to dispose as we wish it
Principle rules laws all physical in use

We have but this life no home in Multi-Verse
We can take nothing with us when forced to quit
Brand not NATURE God word fallen in misuse
Principle rules laws all physical in use
