Dungeons of the Soul

Beware the secrets castles keep,
In empty chambers tucked away,
Within your soul they do not sleep.

There, quietly within they creep
Kept hidden from the light of day.
Beware the secrets castles keep.

Lost down behind where conscience weeps
The secrets know they cannot stay.
Within your soul they do not sleep.

Through many walls it slowly seeps
Till when our peace becomes the prey.
Beware the secrets castles keep.

We're warned that what we sow we reap.
At harvest time we'll have to pay.
Within your soul they do not sleep.

Loud echos from within betray
The secret truths that were delayed.
Beware the secrets castles keep.
Within your soul they do not sleep.

Wish

Holding onto a dream without a face
Paralyzed in limbo, not here or there
Following a road that leads no place

Where are you , please leave a trace
I'm overwhelmed by things to share
Holding onto a dream without a face

Desiring only to have my little space
Existing happily only one single care
Following a road that leads no place

Wanting once to not end in disgrace
Taking this for granted I do not dare
Holding onto a dream without a face

I don't understand this, I have no base
Sorry, I don't know how I can prepare
Following a road that leads no place

Fatigued in this never ending rat race
Ultimate failure, I'm not able to bear
Holding onto a dream without a face
Following a road that leads no place

Blooms of Color

A cherished world of light and dark and colors in between
delights the eye and heart and mind with sights which make us sigh,
blooms red, to pink, to lavender, to orange, blue, and green.

The forest's filled by morning light in amber and citrine
reveals the white tail doe who leaps, as blackbirds sound the cry.
A cherished world of light and dark and colors in between.

Upon the mossy shore of playful brook the frogs careen
leaping past the level pads of water lilies pink near bye.
Blooms red, to pink, to lavender, to orange, blue, and green.

And men exist to fill a niche from onyx to casein
our skins transformed by natures heat under foreign skies.
A cherished world of light and dark and colors in between
Blooms red, to pink, to lavender, to orange, blue, and green.

Storm Approaches

The light is absorbed within the great wall The darkness fills all that’s here completely The light condenses, becomes the dark call Rain comes crashing in with clouds quite tall There seems to be lots of insanity The light is absorbed within the great wall The wind blows, it whips around on a ball Hopelessness hits a few, fear hits many The light condenses, becomes the dark call It’s so dark, and so slick you sure might fall Sour look is from lack of tranquility The light is absorbed within the great wall Fortress that the storm emits makes you crawl The dark sky makes sure it’s light you can’t see The light condenses, becomes the dark call Storm rages, nothing about this is small Light fades fast within the dark certainly The light is absorbed within the great wall The light condenses, becomes the dark call

Hell on Earth

Each day I rise wondering what has happened to humanity Is it the end of times, it seems things can't get much worse They toil and run on a wheel like rats to their own calamity Seeking things which once were called of the flesh, of vanity Every word out of their mouths, brings down another curse Each day I rise wondering what has happened to humanity What misfortune we bring upon ourselves, risking our sanity Could there be new vile thing left in which we could immerse They toil and run on a wheel like rats to their own calamity Stories they believe of a world once purged by a great sea They say they believe, but all of their actions very diverse Each day I rise wondering what has happened to humanity Money, greed, and corruption is the root of all evil you see Salvation, grace, nor love will be traded for contents of purse They toil and run on a wheel like rats to their own calamity I am not innocent of anything as I make this lofty decree Only a small hope of seeking right can I possibly nurse Each day I rise wondering what has happened to humanity They toil and run on a wheel like rats to their own calamity

Sorrow

Light fades fast into darkness, forever a word of past
Hope hides helpless now, in the midst of this turmoil
Lost lonely sorrow, no pleasure, for now nor morrow

Better days will come, to this it's taught stay steadfast
Covered by black storm clouds, faith continues loyal
Light fades fast into darkness, forever a word of past

Happiness of youth, an idea we temporarily borrowed
Time moves fast making body, soul and heart spoil
Lost lonely sorrow, no pleasure, for now nor morrow

A day will come when we will have to face our sorrow
We look, examine our lives, many, sadly left to recoil
Light fades fast into darkness, forever a word of past

To one end, weak or strong, we all do tend to follow
For that purpose, all strive, search, conspire and toil
Lost lonely sorrow, no pleasure, for now nor morrow

Finding meaning in life, a quest that is never shallow
However it's always elusive, at times angers to a boil
Light fades fast into darkness, forever a word of past
Lost lonely sorrow, no pleasure, for now nor morrow

Soul of the night

Have I looked upon the darkest hour
Cluelessly cleansing, experience dire
Renewed regret, taste of the flower

Cunning clever concoctions, now sour
Triggering a transformation by fire
Have I looked upon the darkest hour

With witty wings I flew, now I cower
Restless reasoning, ready to inquire
Renewed regret, taste of the flower

Tantalizing temptation takes power
Honestly only one thing that I desire
Have I looked upon my darkest hour

Written rhythm and rhyme I scour
Savvy sayings of saints, I don't tire
Renewed regret, taste of the flower

A blundering bluntness as I devour
Wicked witchcraft have I called sire
Have I looked upon the darkest hour
Renewed regret, taste of the flower

mother WHO i HATE

Mother, mother can't you see?
How much are you putting the needle,
Deep inside of my heart?
I know the pain won't go away!
I know you are blind to see the truth!

Pain pain pain,
When will you go away?
Anger, hate & discouragement
Always comes my way!
What am I supposed to do?
I feel alone deep inside,
I feel the empty pressure against my chest,
In a prison of hate,
I am sick of the people who I love,
Betraying me & ruining the trust,
God above who sees your actions,
I hope He will never forgives you,
For you who keep on sin.

One day you will see
Throw my eyes & my pain,
One day you will stop on pretend,
Realize your mistakes,
It will be too late,
I will be gone far away,
I will never come back again!

Child

Remember your fear of the dark, child,
When sleep attempts to steal your sight,
And monsters creep in, tall, sharp and wild.

Sharp teeth, sharp claws, all to make you mild,
They close in, trying to steal your light.
Remember your fear of the dark, child.

Imagine yourself a hero, riled
Up with holy fury and banishing might,
When monsters creep in, tall, sharp and wild.

Hissing, screaming, from your room, exiled,
But not forever, just for the night.
Remember your fear of the dark, child.

When morning came, you childishly reviled
their failed attempt to bring you fright,
When monsters crept in, tall, sharp and wild.

Do not think that they can be beguiled
Into staying away another night.
Remember your fear of the dark, child,
When monster crept in, tall, sharp and wild.

Delusion of Light

Once captivated by your light that shined bright
Smooth sailing seas, but I now resemble a shark
Your presence in times of sorrow, once a delight

Again I move through the cold, this is my plight
A weary werewolf under dark moon, not a lark
Once captivated by your light that shined bright

Freezing wind blowing I move from left to right
The bitter bite foreshadowed by a familiar bark
Your presence in times of sorrow, once a delight

Confusion sets in and now, insanity with insight
This thing threatens, but I’m obligated to hark
Once captivated by your light that shined bright

Weak in soul, but my mind feels a strange might
The pleasant placating voice has to now embark
Your presence in times of sorrow, once a delight

If it’s a phase, I promise it is not done from spite
This clever close alliterated, a remaining remark
Once captivated by your light that shined bright
Your presence in times of sorrow, once a delight
