A Pink Rose

My best friend and I
Ran barefoot through the garden
Stirring the petals
Her hair tied back in two braids
Her skirt trailed out behind her

We sat by the stream
With our feet in the water
Talking and laughing
Until a pink rose I plucked
And wove it into her dark braids

What Love means

What Love means / Was Liebe bedeutet / Que el amor significa

Love's soft petals fall
Leaving bare thorny branches
Heady perfume gone
But with care and attention
From one rose grows a bouquet

Zarte Liebesblüten fallen
Nur nackte dornige Zweige bleiben
Kein berauschender Duft mehr
Doch mit Pflege und Liebe
Wird aus einer Rose ein Bouquet

Pétalos de amor caen
Dejando lampiñas ramas espinosas
No más embriaga perfume
Pero con cuidado y atención
Crece de una rosa un ramillete

Love a blooming rose
Always flowering in us
And nourished by faith
A never ending story
A safe heaven for our soul

Liebe eine blühende Rose
Sie blüht immer in uns
Genährt durch Vertrauen
Eine unendliche Geschichte
Zuflucht für unsere Seele

El amor es una rosa
Floreciendo en nosotros
Alimentados por la confianza
Una historia sin fin
Refugio de nuestra alma

A Rose for YOU

I plucked a red rose from the garden of my heart fresh like this morning some dew drops clinging to it dew drops of Valentine wish. Tuck it in your hair another scented garden fragrances mingle morning and evening walk on coming Valentine's day. © 2012 ===============000============== By:kash poet

The Virtuous White Rose

--**--The Virtuous White Rose--**--

White rose is holy
Matrimony pureness of
Bond between lovers.
Blessing to Old Rome deceased’s
Chastity and innocence.

White Rose in myth and
Legend was tainted by blood,
Made blush from kiss, thus
Made it red and made it pink
Against its pride purity.

White Rose

it lies there alone,
one flower, on a coffin
that the flag once adorned
carrying  the soldier home,
brave hero, an only son.

White roses were strewn,
when the cortege was driven
through crowded  lined  streets,
a flowered road of goodbyes
written in the rose of hope

Orange Roses

In the roses' glow you ignite me - warm fingers stroking, stoking me until heated buds unfurl their fire-flushes of desire. Molten petals flare - a furnace of flame fragrance scorching like lava combusting in the burning heart of a blazing bouquet.

Orange Roses

Orange roses

A lonesome starlet
And a lusty lover-moon
Scarlet thoughts of tides
Of deep passion and romance
I dream of orange roses.

Roses fresh and rare
Covering you all over
And I flick them one
By one to find my love bites
Wherever the roses were.

Her Yellow Rose

I had a great friend growing roses her passion one favorite bloom deep yellow, its fragrance sweet- growing by her sheltered seat a fragile woman joyful like her rose petals her last breath foreseen Near her headstone they planted her yellow rose "Enchanted"...

'Being bipolar is like a rose'

Being bipolar
is like a rose born missing
some of its petals,--
its color is more vibrant
than all the other roses'!

It may never be
part of a "perfect" bouquet,--
but its rich pigment
can be a precious paint for
Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa."

Alas, it may not
attract the most "honeybees"
in the wilds of life,--
but its petals can be crushed
to make the finest perfumes.

Being bipolar
is like a rose born missing
some of its petals,--
its bouquet is more fragrant
than all the other roses'!
