The Enchanted Dream

How sweet the soothing songs of May Reposed upon the fragrant breeze The comely songs were Seagulls play On the lulling trembling seas. That dissolved the traces of your feet That lingered in the distant sands While the sultry beams unite to meet The carnal rosebuds of your hands. That blush in light the morning spray Descending warmly in your eyes Who knew the light of love this day Would lift me up to a new sunrise. Yet in the sunless fleeting hour I would hold you in my smile Or steal a kiss from you my flower In this languid scented isle. That quivers in the blue distance When tender birds are fast asleep When blazing stars of night entrance The lonely fountains glistening deep. I would hear your whispers by the sea On the soothing waves of night Its mellowed voice would comfort me When the winds would take to flight. To the starry distance and empty spaces That holds the night sky of your hair On hallowed streets and sleepless faces It blows the Eastern dews most fair. And on the enchanted blossom rare That I'd finally pluck in spring To bow and give to you my dear With this golden diamond ring.

One Autumn Night

On a desolate splendor of this autumn night
We listen to the serene call of the gleaming moonlight
Deciduous trees stand tall to acclaim its magnificence
Conducting the melodious whispers of the cold and gentle wind
As each golden neon foliage shimmers and pirouettes on view
You hold me tight as I hold you, too
For this autumn night will rise the citadel of love…just me and you

Speak of thee

He is above us in the clouds
run through the fields and speak of thee
                                              He will grow roses

I will be the stem of the roses
for I shall never leave your soil

You will be the tree I grow beneath
and he will be our rain.

A Memo As You Go

In four days from today
I wish you well as you go, and you shall walk again
Through the shadow of the day
Where memory forever my spirit keep in chain
And you shall inhale once more
Jasmines naked and dancing to the silver moon
Or hear whispering for sure
The tides that salt us that unwrinkled June
And I shall be far away
Praying as I always pray, waiting your return
To mend broken gaps of day
While among the yellow leaves I walk and yearn

Do not forget me, dearest
Do not with moon or river wander far away
But on pillow of your breast
Give me my rest, give me my hope to play
For bird songs there I know rise
Like angels vestal choir, or sirens seductive song
May bring the heart new surprise
Against all witchery there, keep your love strong
Walk by lignum vitae bloom
Cradle the blue mountain misty morning shape
Tremble at its thunder boom
And toss your cares across the bright sunlit landscape

There is healing in that place
A certain balm, and invigorating freedom there
An edible sense of grace
So delicious to those who walk with feet bare
Like children before the change
And yet for all the beauty and the music I keep
Another memory strange
The place where in my arms a princess fell asleep
The place where your kiss became
The elixir for which kings and heroes search and died
Where first the stag was made tame
No other beauty there may so my joy provide.

With you in autumn evening

The sweet songs of birds, We hand in hand across the lawn, Pansies white yellow and violet Tossing their heads in the breeze. Somewhere the sound of falling leaves. The sound of squirrel cracking the walnut. Calm weather warm sun, White fluffy clouds forming different shapes, A passenger flight in the blue sky, Sun born in the horizon and about to fade in the horizon, Both our heartbeats echo inside of chest, Shutting and opening of our lips, Your unkempt hair flying backwards, Yellowish west sky. Heart shaped fig leaf's shadow. If I could stop this world from spinning, I would do so, Just to be with you In this autumn evening.

Diamonds in the Snow

A Diamond's Remnants beneath a full moon their kiss in winter’s first snow. . . her soft eyes glowing her delighted gasp as he opens the ring case. . . the night sky sparkles the months since she died he wakes sometimes to dreams of diamonds in her eyes in dementia’s fog the snow, the sky and her eyes. . . a diamond's remnants Written 12/28/13 by Andrea Dietrich (I am using the title Diamonds in the Snow to fulfill a rule of the contest, but the real title would be A Diamond's Remnants)

Jungle Love

Your sweet nectar
wraps around my senses
like jungle vines
steady drums beating
Your heart near mine

Your strong hands
hold me suspended
by my waist
Just enough pain and strength
against my supple skin
For my taste

The musk of your
sculpted body and the forest
has me going wild
But yet, the tender way you
protect me, reminds me of
Being a child

A safe familiarity
with a strain of animalistic
seduction
Your invisible hold over me
leaves me arrow poisoned
Unable to function

My long dark hair wraps you
with smells of coconut and ocean Sun
your locks full of mud and enemies
Blood
together, my warrior
We make One

Walk Of Love

The dark clouds threatened rain in the late evening sky.
They decided to take an umbrella in order to stay dry.
Their happiness was evident on each others face.
As they eagerly tucked an arm around each others waist.

Their conversation was easy as they matched each others stride.
Their eyes lit with glee from the love they felt inside.
They smiled at each other as the summer rain began to fall.
No where on earth they rather be, a special glance said it all.

They stopped upon a bridge as lightening streaked the sky.
Thunder rumbling loudly made the girl hug tighter her guy.
The rain falling heavily now dancing in the river below.
They shared a tender kiss, neither afraid to let their feelings show.

The summer rainstorm suddenly ended as quickly as it began.
In time for an amazing sunset, the first shared by this woman and man.
A smiling mother nature must have thought what else could she bestow.
For in the sky a crescent moon appeared and a spectacular rainbow.

They both knew that this shared experience was a rare one indeed.
Both realizing their love is magical and that they better take heed.
To let a special love like theirs slip away would be such a crime.
For true love is precious and comes around only once in a lifetime.

`Let us forever continue this "Walk of Love".

Memories etched in the sand

Sifting warm sand
through my fingers,
shimmering fine grains
glitter my palm.
Sand,
filled with life’s memories
of nut brown days
of summer.

A soft silk breeze
formed dunes
with our dreams
that summer
when we danced to the stars.
My heart laced yours
listening to the sea
undulating waves of emotion
as we kissed
on the velvet strand.

I still hear
the rhythm of the ocean.
Waves tumbling in unison,
a sweeping sound
gently caressing
as we lay silently
listening to sand
shifting over stone
to the faint chiming
of seashells.

My first love
a sea salted embrace
on a breast of sand.
The memories
forever held
in the sand
in glitter on my hand.

Woodland Romance

"A woodland path in the dappled sun hushed and quiet"

As creamy blue cloud rests on tall tender trees
Peeps of early morning sun still awakes dossing greens
Dull dews are yet to vanish from their sheltering leaves
Silences of monastery still arrest woodland paradise
The songbirds are yet to reveal songs schedule of the day
The echoing breath of nature
Still nurture patient under slumber's custody
Only four naked legs print love on woodland moldered leaves
A perfect sanctuary for lucky cupid and Venus
As calming breezy strokes of nature
Lull perfectly braided hairs
Affection breathes rhythm to drumming tongues
Sweeping feelings conquer trembling flesh
As lips gently explore one another
Keen tender arms stroll awaiting avenues
As soft sweet moans arouse jealousy among woodland beings
'I love you' falls from ecstasy driven tongues
A perfect world is created by conjoined spirits
Where comfort nourish mind and soul
 It's now evening
As weary sun leisurely walks home
A head still rests on sweeter-than-mattress subtle laps

Secretly Obsessed

Obsessed with the thought of you
wondering if it's only me or
if you sometimes remember the sweet things you've said
and if you meant them how I took them
or if I'm just obsessed with what's in your head

Obsessed with your very sentences
Every response I take personal
I know it's selfishness
Have you not noticed my eyes?
They hold secrets that only you can unlock
if you'd just take time to fill the thick juices of my pride
It's just boiling with lust, passion, trust and distrust
and other things I obsess over so much

I find myself writing to free myself from this prison I've created
where only you and I reside
I become confused about what I'm really feeling inside and I
try to rid the thoughts that are highly debated as false and I
begin to cry and
think of casting love spells so that the universe can deliver this affair
I know it's unfair
but I don't care

I'm obsessed with what hasn't happened between us
I'm obsessed with your heart and that the fact that
I don't think you've even noticed my selfish innuendos
and secret undertones that blatantly express my lust
Or maybe you have and you calmly remain in resistance of distrust
If you could only read my mind by simply touching my fingertips,
I'm sure I'd catch you out the corner of my eye biting your bottom lip
I'm obsessed with the passion and thoughts I think you have
Obsessing over an experience that I may never have....

Enigma's Calling

Extraordinary, I am
Craving for unusual thoughts
Endless exploration without boundary
Understanding the gift I shouldn't fought

Invisible drawings in my mind
Playing with the words in my head
My passion
The food of my soul

I feel so lucky
The random thoughts
A lifetime companion
A self esteem builder
A goal planner
Be my forever life saver

I write more
I talk less
I want to please
I chose to bore

What tickles me the most
Is to know what I'm for
Thinking is my love
When my mind goes empty
That's when I hate

My day dreaming lust
Organizing things in my mind
Playing roles of simulation
Where images of art is my vision
And words of attitude is my heart

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire

Love declares His Love

Love they say is a many splendid thing-

Love wove for me
Such a fine necklace
All gleaming with tiny droplet pearls
That hung from a sheer gossamer thread
Dazzling in clear beauty
Glistening in the morning gold of the frosty morn

Love sings for me the finest song
From the golden throat of a nightingale
Like the sounds of many violins
Stringing a tune of lonely times and long lonely nights
when he waited and listened to the wind for my whispers
Of loving response

Love shines and twinkles in the midnight hour when
Declaring on heavens evening robes where
Jewels dance across life’s moving screen
Love declares His undying passion
For me

Then dawn rose from a heart on fire
It lit the garden with morning sun
Radiant-wearing the finest perfume
And colors of the rainbow bowed
In memory of our first lost embrace
The King waits anxiously-
For my smile and my heart.

Amethyst

It is the pure mystery of amethyst
that inhabits my world
It glows in dawn light along
 receding shadows.
Cool, enticing it embraces my soul
Adds those fresh dimensions to trees
in rain-swept meadows.
Everywhere, I see its shades repeat –
in the marbling of shells -sheen on a bird’s wing-
veins in a rock - flower petals -
I wrap myself each morning in its lighter shades-
cool, lavender chiffon, and you come to me
the magic of amethyst in your kiss.

All Through Tuscany

The afternoon outlined. The sunny strokes
of a samurai blade on her body
revealing things the eyes feign see.
Tempted, wounded, the virgin parchment floats
between her skin and satin cloak.
Artist; afternoon, craving company
draws her inside-out so innocently,
on purpose leaves the yolk indwelling.

The painter in the corner moans,
he jealous of the afternoons artly
sensual oration.
Improving skin, bare olive tones
of subtle pastel, the moment partly lost
to the constellations.

A Message from West Texas - Recited

She sent me a message while I was walking Mr. Reilly,
She said “Look up, and tell me what you see.”
I thought I would impress her with my poetical ways so I answered,
Bus zooming by…
Brown leaves on the sidewalk ahead,
And a shadowy figure that Reilly and I will soon pass,
The smell of the Indian bakery warming my insides on an autumn evening.
“I love fresh bread,” she said, “What do you hear?”
Crisp slate grey sky,
And the wind gently shaking loose more tan and brown leaves,
And cars sliding by,
Each with its unique sound of tires on asphalt,
 Creating its own steady hush.
She then messaged, “You’re very good at this,
I’m going to read that again!”
but I went on…
A few drops of cool rain,
The rain here, even when it’s pouring,
Seems to be made of a lighter liquid.
It’s not the hard thick drops of a West Texas down pour,
And it’s almost disappointing when
I don’t have the residual layer of dirt on my windshield after the rain,
Almost.
They say there is thunder in the springtime,
But I suspect they don’t know what real thunder is,
Here in California.
In the West Texas springtime,
When entire sky is filled with all the mountains,
That are missing from the landscape,
You can feel the power and,
The threatening posture of the storm,
But you take up the challenge and face the lightning,
And it fills you with excitement,
And if you have a lover,
It is during these storms that your fantasies come true.
Silver flashes across your lover’s skin,
Passion filled faces caught in the strobe of lightning,
And the pounding rain beating on the windows.
The mix of cold wet air,
And the sweaty heat of deep kisses and breath.
They don’t know what they’re missing here,
In California,
But I do,
And maybe someday I’ll have her.

Night Poem

It waits...
A prickle about to lodge
In the heart of a Mighty Light

Above the low-dipped setting sun
The Knightly Night prepares to come

To lift me like a rising fog
Up to greet the countless stars -
That twinkle at a Sun's descent.

The horizon painted with lullaby
Of colours and their somber tune
Day's bed is laid behind blue mountains
And quietly it goes to sleep.

Inside the womb of a Sleeping Day
Begins a fierce protest
of dreaming thoughts
Now stirred awake.

Then out of the thick and cluster
And whatever dangers of flight await
Newborn wings of thought emerge
And rise and rise and rise
Captured by the winds of Night -
Arisen

To wander heights
To kiss the skies
To dance to the gentle humming
Of spirit drums -
Wings beating
A duet with the breeze.

So when day comes breaking through
Dawn is greeted by what was writ
At the festival of it's eve.

With merriment's ink:
A Kiss;
A dance;
A song etched deep:
Art carved out of sky.

My Soul to Hold

My Lover,

Take my soul—once more,

Forget me not, as daisies trodden on

Which on the hill is found.

I am a weary way-worn traveler,

Onward bound to my native shore,

Desperate seas I roam alone,

Waves of clouds I chase away,

Island mist upon my face,

Let us meet—once more.

Grasp love’s newest breath,

Say you love me true,

Warm and freely I give to you,

My soul to hold—once more.

Lithaniel and She

The dark wood is breathing blue,

and sense do I a sweet sound

of larks and their legendary love,

and sweeter scents still do I

   drink of Apollo's bidding,

'neath forest roof and billowed sky,

   Lithaniel upon her woody heights

Aloft 'neath crest of moons,

and a yawning lake of crimson trim,

   wedded and blushing,

To sunsets red as soft sylph lips,

   and dawns to dream of her beauty;

easy solace stretched out in all her glory

Many times have I entered her house

   once bitter,

   guilty of lesser climes,

   drunk with evil;

Yet for the unfailing footpaths

   winding with lilac copses,

   ' et le gentil colline'

sobered a fool and his silent darkness,

   tamed to truth at last

No joys for my labors,

nor dull love gives me pleasure

with her arms empty to another,

   a 'new' perfume to rouse envy;

Lithaniel's decor of sheen forests

   and rolling solitude remind of her;

my hands touch leaf and wind,

   yet not she....

Her soul in the shadow of all things,

her sweet breath in the waves of fields

and birds in flight grin of loss -----

such sorrow to grieve her while she lives!

Never could I have her always

as sure as my sight does see

   beauty arrayed and stretching to lime seas;

   love must go its way....

   hazel-eyed with tears....

No pain could I hold her still,

us now too wild with death ----

   kisses gray with ancient love,

   her hand cold and unmet

Lithaniel I must leave,

   as her ----

   as she of old loves,

   dreaming in the woods....

yet I dared to ask her,

   many a memory past

' Come, walk with me once more? '

Once more we walked Lithaniel's

summer purge, cruel to a point

   with bright hope at noon;

Children, and mothers and fathers ----

and a white and black swan

   leaning still as two in swanny kiss;

Some new love is more the day,

   fresh as spring rain,

   the sun seldom takes leave

blinded by old clouds, but clear to smile

   as a baby's glee;

We have wandered too far.....

there is no soul to each,

no soft peck and tickled whisper....

The world glows as some planet-god

   no more,

Though I held her for a time,

   in some strange wind,

   she is gone -----

   forever walking the setting sun

And Lithaniel weary with sleep

(the company of moons I keep)

   Keeper of the elder love,

   to soft shadows and sleep

(night shall be my gracious host)

(A finale to an old flame)

I Am Bored With Disenchantment

Deep, deep, deep like the old closed cold cold grave
Down in a dark chamber of loneliness
Resides this horrible and constant boredom
Never is there a slight filling this need

Romance disappeared like misty morn fog
It was clinging wrapped like very wet tee-shirts
But slowly dried and left me wondering
What in the world has really happened here

Was not like tsunami with deadly waves
More subtle like soft splashing gentle waves
Those of low tide on a very calm day
Romance gone__disenchantment here remains

Winds Of The Night

Oh winds upon the starry night Hum sweet a song for me A delicate song in the mistless light On the emerald sparkling sea. Pluck now that ripe old sadness That bitter tune of despair Drift me upon the fields of gladness By the budding tree most fair. Which by the bubbling crystal fountain Would await to hold your tender hands That ascends to the lulling mountain And on the gentle breast of verdant lands. Where neither haunt nor woe does creep From your comely songs in moonlight And before my lover is fast asleep Please blow her a kiss goodnight.

A Changing Heart

A CHANGING HEART

Longing for heart-quiet,
end of further fall
into winter — short days of sun
forwarding to spring’s
longer days, a circling back
in the sameness of time —

heart-and-mind-numbing time
with no respite. A longing to quiet
those thoughts playing back
battle after battle — the failing
to even half fill life’s wellspring.
And, in my darkest season

of discontent, convinced the sun
will no longer shine in this lifetime,
feeling that sting
as from a bee disquieting
green slumber, swelling to a fault
every damned day. Slamming me back

season upon season. Holding me back.
Chilling me with doubt that the sun
will come without fail,
and that, invariably, given time,
better times will rise each dawn, quietly
advancing into spring. Fast forward, past spring
to summer, to autumn, back
to winter, and round again, disquiet
ever more glaring under the sun.
Then, out of the blue, a glance, a nod. Time
stops. My heart races, falling
in love, doubt conquered. No fooling!

Empty seasons done for, spring
burgeons and flowers time —
a new lifetime. No looking back.
Moving past risk and reasons,
my heart basks, quiet
as snowfall — springtime-sprouting,

sun-bursting-through-cloud quiet.
The quiet of snowflakes melting in the sun,
a kiss blown, then blown back.

A Kiss Goodnight

Oh, how the wind's song gives a kiss goodnight!
Gentle breezes in my face leave me weak.
Whistling words of love hold me 'til dawn's light...

Summer winds soften starry skies once bright.
I climb rustling trees. Love, windblown, I seek.
Oh, how the wind's song gives a kiss goodnight!

Love's worth the battle. Through gusts, I shall fight!
Tho' whispering winds bring love soft and meek.
Whistling, words of love hold me 'til dawn's light...

Come forth again! The silence is my plight.
In the wind's absence, tomorrow seems bleak.
Oh, how the wind's song gives a kiss goodnight!

Gentle breezes raise romance to new height.
The warm southwinds soothe. Enamoured, I speak.
Whistling words of love, hold me 'til dawn's light...

Stay, my dear friend, you lift me like a kite.
Carry my soul higher than mountain peaks.
Oh, how the wind's song gives a kiss goodnight...
Whistling words of love, hold me 'til dawn's light!

Take me to the countryside

Take me to the countryside
where all the daffodils grow
fresh perfume saturating the air
dispersing sensational aroma
in the atmosphere.
Take me to the countryside
to inhale the balmy fragrance
of mother earth,
to walk on grassy lands
and hold each other hands.
Take me to the countryside
to gaze at the swaying trees,
and listen to them humming breathlessly
 in the chilly breeze.
enchanting birds singing in the gusty afternoon,
dancing vigorously to their melodious tune.
Take me to the countryside
where all the natural things grow,
tangerine, oranges , banana and kiwi fruit.
homemade yogurt ,sweet yam
and fresh milk from grandpa’s lamb.
Take me to the countryside
to coalesce with earthy peasants,
to run up and down the cornfield
and waddle through onion beds.
Soak me in nature,
and replenish my aching soul
purge my agonizing wound,
and distill my sorrowful tune.
My soul yearns for spiritual fulfillment
to drown the chaos from the external environment,
mineral water and running streams,
strumming guitars and melodious flutes
are singing harmoniously,
and whispering the truth.
lead me to a place of comfort,
a place where I can breathe,
a place of beauty and incomparable dreams.
Take me to the countryside
to mingle with the animals,
to go horseback riding,
and camp on the mountain top.
Take me away from this hopelessness,
to a place of peace and quietness.
Take me away from this desolation
and find away to solve this confusion.
I want to be free,
free from this burden and misery,
so take me with you before you leave.
When I close my eyes and count to three
at the sound of the whistle
I charge you to set me free.

Wildflowers

Standing out in a field alone, a little white flower named Daisy longed for someone to share her world.
One day a blue flower named Bachelor Button entered her world they became friends.
She knew by his name that he was not the propagating kind, but that didn’t stop their relationship she called him BB short for best bud.
The seasons of Spring & Summer they enjoyed the sun, laughed in the rain and held on fast in the Fall.
Winter came it was long and hard they were both covered in a blanket of snow, not knowing whether they would ever see each other again or even survive .The snow fell then came the ice, this went on for months.

The Sun shone brightly the first day of spring. A few days later warmth of the sun melted the snow, Daisy popped up .
I’ve been waiting days for you to come out, said BB, they both chanted hooray!
The snow was completely gone in a few days, the birds started building their nests , bugs were crawling around ,butterflies began to visit the two flowers. I wish there were more of us Daisy said, to BB.

They laughed as the sun and wind blew through their leaves. Then it started the sun and rain took turns until one morning the air & field was filled with the smell of flowers.

Daisy and BB looked at each other and asked what kind of flowers are these ? they’re not white like daisies they’re not blue like bachelor buttons. They did not know the birds and bugs carried the seeds from the two of them and the caterpillars buried them under the soil.
The seeds from the new flowers were then carried by the winds many miles away, they landed in fertilized gardens and flourished, although they faced danger everyday.
as they were called WEEDS ..
The Gardener pulls weeds out of the garden so they don’t choke the flowers, which cost a lot of money and require lots of maintenance.

However there was a Gardener who saw her friends spending hours weeding their garden , that they didn’t have enough time to admire and enjoy the labors of their love
So she set out to give a home to all the weeds ,she provided a place where they could fit in and multiply, they required no maintenance, rain provides their water .

The best part of all is their beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Ask my granddaughter-- What are those flowers in the garden ?
She will answer "WILDFLOWERS " their parents were Daisy and BB

Tainted Butterfly

This is my life, don't you see Pure jealousy has taken over me My wings clipped and my neck broken The demon inside of me has awoken You left me heart and soul for the last time Your words spoken as I caused the true crime My body dies down and the cold breaks me down Once upon my head, now on the ground a shattered crown My lungs seize to take in more air But i tell myself... he doesn't care... I take my last breath and close my eyes My heart says goodbye to the mournful cries They all stand around and look down at me there Some say I deserved it, some say is was unfair An untimely death was one I was destined to behold But this death was certainly... the most utterly cold Hand placed upon my chest and my body dressed all in black The memories of my in their hearts begin to lack Lowered below the ground my body is taken Never again for the butterfly to awaken

Take me to Duck Heaven

Tawnablu

A quacker kind of
Bird
Recognizable by the
Aquamarine
Feathers
Atop her bobbing head
She swam aloof from
The rest

And refused all bread
Crumbs
Thrown her way
Even the finest bits
Collected from week old
French bread

Leftovers from the
Bakery
Down the road
The one managed by a
Croatian
Kick boxer from the Bronx
The one that
Refused entry to
Shirtless
Skateboarding
Teens
But kindly gave me
All the crusty crumbs I
Could bag
For my
Duck feeding
Addiction

And I am not embarrassed
Not so macho
To say
I loved that duck
My Tawnablu
In ways I can never
Describe

But let me try
To put my affection
Into words

Just this once:

Tawnablu, my pretty Canard
Quacking so hard
I want to ride your back
Down a stream
Without end

Tawnablu, my epic Canard
Quacking so hard
Take me, wild beauty
All the way to
Duck Heaven

fork in road

mixing words and rhyme , devote passion designed,
colors and shades blend , my vision I send ,a path

a mystic Irish presence , calming senses ,
whispers in ear to follow stay near, a path

all pain considered wisdom is delivered,
making the changes needed to live yet give, a path

past ,present, future fate, open the gate,
presently undecided the road divided, a path

the long destination refuse to show desperation, a path
my soul on fire my love desired, a path

Revelling in the Rain

Revelling in the rain
That goes tapping on my back.
I  twirl,  'am  in  no  haste;
With a weedy leafy dirndle
Wrapped around my waist.
I swing and I sway,
Drifting  about  in  gay;
Pirouetting with the posies,
Floating in the pristine air.
I dance with no refrain,
Foot taps whispering with the rain.
The entire world stood,
As  in  a  clearing  in  the  wood;
With festoons of flowers and foliage,
Them all ornating my stage.
Till I dance into the dawn,
And  a  grey  and  cloudy  morn;
Rain capering with me,
Accompanying me for a song.

Black Widow--trochee

Black Widow

We made love in the arbour
And loft--out of sight,
Then three times at the harbour
As the day turned night.

Let's go into the parlour
In the candle light,
There's no more time for ardour.
I'm ready to--Bite!

LOVE NOTES WAFTING

Like love notes wafting in the air Floating petals of multi myriad a-hue Brushing velvet on my shoulders, bare Flush of nature seems to give a cue! Floating petals of multi myriad a-hue As many a-drifting prismatic rainbows Flush of nature seems to give a cue, For two dancing hearts to come close. As many a-drifting prismatic rainbows Flutter vividly across melting, meeting eyes For two dancing hearts to come close, Splashing colors of romance in blue skies. Flutter vividly across melting-meeting eyes Visions of intermingled sweet fragrances, Splashing colors of romance in blue skies, Beckoning in love, the open secret entrances! Visions of intermingled sweet fragrances Melody of the cuckoo's song, its sweet urges, Beckoning in love: the open secret entrances Desires collide, into a dream, the sight merges. Melody of the cuckoo's song, its sweet urges Brushing velvet on shoulders bare.. Desires collide, into a dream, the sight merges Like love notes wafting in the air... Yesha Shah

The field

Soft breath winds crossed the field

Wildflowers bending in its reverence

Cottoned clouds in their endless journey

While the brook chattered over rocks

It was a secret place

Discovered on a Sunday walk

And later our place for picnics and passion

In the warm days of spring and new beginnings

Carrion crows gossiped from the stand of pines

Tall grasses hissed around the breeze

From somewhere a ewe called for a lamb

And the sun was gentle and generous

You would be there, on your back, eyes upward

Smiling at all that was

Wishing that every day could be so wondrous

Until the splendor brought your tears of elation

And there was me . . . . sole witness of true grandeur

Found within the curve of your lip or winsome half smile

You were more glorious than the boastful clouds

More radiant than the sun against the brook stones

Far more gentle and fulfilling than the calming breeze

More easily loved than all of creation

For as the earth will one day consume me

So did you so long ago

Sitting On A Cloud

Sitting on a cloud, high above the ground,
High among the highways and the byways in the sky.
People on the hills, going where they will,
Seem like specks beneath us as we watch the world go by.

You and I in a giant red balloon, sailing across the sky.
Heaven must be like this moment in the blue, shared between you and I

Soaring like a hawk, where the eagles walk.
With a burst of fire we climb higher in the air.
Dancing on a breeze, high above the trees,
Following the currents that could take us anywhere.

You and I in a giant red balloon, sailing across the sky.
Heaven must be like this moment shared with you, here ‘neath a clear blue sky.

So pop the cork, and toast our new-found love, here in our red balloon.

So pop the cork, and toast our new-found love, here in our red balloon.

On our way we go, enjoying what’s below.
From our picnic basket we’ll pull out the caviar.
Now the moments gone, but we’ll carry on,
Floating past the sunset on our pathway to the stars.

You and I in a giant red balloon, sailing across the sky.
Heaven must be like this moment in the blue, shared between you and I
Heaven must be like this moment shared with you, here ‘neath a clear blue sky.

A Contraceptive Pill

Afore falling in his arms they advice to think twice
Unregretful I act beyond my surprise
It’s the grip of a force, a force here to claim
Compelling, like a moth drawn to the flame

Every night encloses the heat of flaming souls
But sun kissed morning plays a wicked role
To my realization it brings an obvious question
What next to prevent conception?

Like always, I pop in a pill to save the bill
My guy admires the worth of a contraceptive pill
It causes side-effects. Ah! How would he know?
He enjoys the freedom of reckless show

Nevertheless, I look at kids and admire their innocence
Wish the pill could kill within me my maternal pretence!

I Hate Aunt Floe

NOTE: This poem is a humoruos stab at PMS from a mans point of view

I can see your blood boiling
through the blades I once called eyes,
they were once beautiful like jewels
now they hurt my deep insides.
cutting at my guts
and like a noose on my  lungs;
your words seek like bullets
your mouth like sniper guns.
I’m hit with each inaccuracy…
Being killed by words untrue;
and you even got the nerve
to tell me what you think I do.
But let me get mad
and try to plead my case;
then suddenly the world
is a f--ked up place.
You got tears running down…
What the Hell did I do?
We were just sitting and laughing
I could swear that we were cool.
Oh God…
Oh no…;
I should have seen it…
It’s Aunt Floe…,
This battle can’t be won or reasoned
I think its best I go.
Cause I hate Aunt Floe
and she hate me too;
she sit and talk sh-t
about the gum I chew.
The color of my shirt…,
She say my look is a stair;
She say my best has no worth
And she doesn’t stop there.
I didn’t change
I’ve been the same
these 28 days,
 but now I’m f_ckin A__hole
Aunt Floe gave me that name.
She said get out my face
This aint your home no more,
But I’m more puzzled by
What was said before.
I love you
With her glossy eyes
I knew it was true,
But horribly sly
You see these words
make me the fool.
The one that’s cruel
That a__hole dude,
That sparked the fuel
To this f__kin feud.
But I swear to God
I didn’t start this sh_t,
Why would I give up my love
To live my life like in a pit.
 This is horrible sh_t
Wasted days spent,
On nothing but the worst
I could be bathed in your sent.
You could be laughing
While I’m smiling
But Aunt Floe Won’t let this be,
And the only way to make this right
Is hold my tongue a week.
And that ain’t gone happen
I’m a person too,
Not soft
But I got feelins
and don’t know what to do.
Now its been six days
Unbelievable rage,
She locked herself
In the room
I call it her cage.
I smell a sent in the air
It wasn’t there before,
Now lookin down the hall
I see an open door.
Is this a trap
I’ll guess I’ll see,
If I fall for another
You know that’s dumb ass me.
Curled in the bed
I think I know that girl,
But where’s the hells Aunt Floe
The one that f__ked my world.
She packed up and gone
Didn’t even say good bye,
Just came wit gang of bullsh_t
And vanished in the sky.
Is that you my dear
Can you please come here,
Listen close and crystal clear…
I hate Aunt Floe
 Next time she here
Make sure I’m stocked
with weed and beer.
I love you punk. ?

Only in You

Through the lonely woods, I may head,

Upon the autumn leaves, I may tread,

At the secluded horizon, I may stare,

And only you, I may see,

In those symphonies of silence,

In those melodies of calmness,

In those euphonies of quietness.

By the silent lake, I may lay,

Till the twilight fades, I may stay,

Then in reclusive silence, I may walk,

And only to you, I may talk,

Through those toungueless emotions,

Through those wordless attachments,

Through those voiceless sentiments.

In the lone meadow, I may wander,

Along the untrodden paths, I may waver,

In companionless seclusion, I may hide,

And only in you, I may find,

The depths of oneness,

The bonds of togetherness,

The cozy feel of coalescence.

In the wilderness of emotions, I may die,

At the merciless daggering, I may sigh,

Through a million wounds, I may bleed,

And only in you, I may seek,

The balm of love,

The warmth of affection,

The heal of inseparability.

Softly sipping honey wine

Softly sipping honey wine

Sipping softly honey wine
I hear the rivers song
Lovely lady by my side
With love so sweet and strong
How the river sparkles
It’s on its way to meet the sea
As softly sipping honey wine
We sit here you and me.

Softly sipping honey wine
There’s only you and me
As Pelicans fly us by
This essence, endlessly
Seeps in, as a boat goes by
And trees dance in the breeze
Softly sipping honey wine
We sit here hearts at ease.

Softly sipping honey wine
I know I love you so
No one, my love, could ever love this true
Softly sipping honey wine
I feel loves tender glow
As I look at you, and know you love me too.

Softly sipping honey wine
The two of us together
River reflects the somber skies
They’ll soon be rainy weather
Here in this cosy chalet
Telling you that I love you
Softly sipping honey wine
And sharing love so true

Ensnare My Heart

"Ensnare My Heart" By M. Taha Effendi (Ballad) O beautiful maiden of my captive heart, Are you not the lone bard's pompous muse? With allure that inspired the divine art, Heavens' hand made you with such delicate use, What sweet circumstance upon me befalls, My heart the endearing perfidy has plotted, Entombed in my bosom, it beats to your calls, Loves beyond reason the heart besotted, Let my soul swoon at your eternal beauty awhile, Mesmerize by sheer fineness of your chiseled cheek, Beguile by crimson roses that adorn your seraphic smile, Savor in you the beauty of which poets speak, Your eyes are gleaming lagoons of preserved vintage, Shades the cerulean ocean from their depths did lease, The jealous eye of heaven envies your radiant visage, The blushing moon embarrassed cowers beneath the seas, Would you shelter me in your silken veil perchance? That imbue elation in those who wander in its shade, And sways to cadence of zephyrs in an eternal dance, To invoke dark urges of soul with a sublime serenade,

Garden Rose

Written August 21, 2013

There's a girl in the garden
She's messing with your rose bed
Plucking weeds out from your head
And watering the seeds in your bed

But where will she wander
When the roses are dead
Will she come back for more
When they turn back to red

She can run all alone
Write this story in stone
On concrete slabs
Of skin and bone

The Long Way Home

trotting across my back field
there’s a storm brewing-in
it’s misty friend is climbing
through the cold, prickly wires

Delicately drenched,
as wet as
a dog’s kiss,
there’s a-storm brewing-in
it’s casual pal is breezing-
bothering the wicker trees.

his smile-
brightens my mind
like the italian renaissance.
inhaling red tipped
cigarettes
we chat under the glistening leaves.

But there’s a storm brewing-in
it’s hamper full dirty laundry
is drying-
stringing across my back yard.

his laugh-
is as pleasing
as old dogs learning new tricks.
Just one more outburst,
and I swear this storm will turn to stone.

I bask-
his attention is as gratifying
as a masters gentle stroke
just one more round of
darting eyes and light hearted jokes.

I realize now,
He grumpiness does best
to protect what’s raw and rare-
from the snakes who try to tear us away from home.

Like stumpy cigarettes,
hanging off the tips
of tough our lips.
we’ll share each other’s worlds.
Yes, Like stumpy cigarettes,
hanging off the tips
of tough our lips.
Come-
let’s melt into each other’s worlds.

Nature

I woke up in the morning,
Thinking all about you,
Only to imagine your eyes,
Shining like a morning dew.

I rolled my arm across the bed,
To Find your empty space beside,
Your presence can always be felt,
Fresh as air all the time.

I took an effort to leave the bed,
And glanced through the window,
Only to see the beautiful sunshine,
Like the beautiful heart you endow.

The tree's hustled across the lane,
Dropping leaves as trail,
Like your soft voice and true words,
Leaving a mark on me,they never fail.

The flowers bloomed in the front row,
All Red, Yellow, Purple and white,
Like the variety of roles you play at home,
With all respect, love alike.

Someone embraced me from behind,
Someone i felt i knew,
As i turned around to kiss her head,
And tell her '' I love you! ''
She smiled like the day,
All Refreshing and so bright,
And hugged me to the core of heart,
To imply everything is all right,
Peace to have nature in my arms,
And say that '' It's all mine!"
Happy to spend my life with her,
Cause even forever is less in time.

Evening walk on the beach

I walked alone
along a sandy and lonely beach.
The raging waves from the sea
crashed onto the slimy sea shore.
The riding waves were white and bare,
but when they violently crashed, turned white and black.

I walked along the lonely beach.
Listening to the seagulls chatting
on silver rocks and boulders.

I sat near the shore.
The waves coing in and out
crashing violently on the silver rocks and boulders.
I sat there, lonely skipping pebbles into the vase and endless sea.
The waves came in and swallowed the pebbles, I threw its way.

The sea crabs wabbling from side to side, came up from the shore.
They kept me company on a lone and quiet evening.
A lone dog walking without an owner
came and curled up next to me,
and barked at the chattering seagulls.
They flew in panic toward the setting of the Red Sun,
and disappeared into the evening paradise.

The lone dog gazed upon the red sheld sea crabs,
and chased their wabbling bodies away
back down to the slimy sea shore.
And at the setting of the evening, I was alone.

Soon I had seen something
that had shocked me,
A young and beautiful gypsy woman.
She crossed my path along the lonesome beach.
All of a sudden the beach became full with love and life of all kind.

The lilacs, and roses, and violets and daisies
grew tall and bloomed, like madmen.
The waves pulled in by the full moon,
that shinned upon me and the Gypsy Woman.
She was decorated with ragged skirts and blouses,
with shinny, white pearls around her neck,
and golden bracelets around her wrists.

She smiled at me.
I smiled back at her.
Her hair black, with a vail of flowers around her head.
She stopped me and held my hand.
I was astonished and afraid.

What was this stunning and beautiful woman doing to me?
A victim of lost love and heartbrake.
I had no money, no jewlery.
I asked her what she wanted.
She replied with loneliness in her voice;
"To be loved."

I pulled her in, and kissed her,
and whispered softly in her ear,
decorated with silver earrings;
"Me too."

We joined hands and walked the lonesome sandy beach.
Listening to the waves, now softly coming in and pulling out.
The shore, now not so slimy,
and the silver rocks and boulders sleeping so peacefully.
I turned to her and she smiled at me.
I held her in my arms and kissed her upon her sweet brow.

                          wrote by Mrs.Madhavi Suyog Pagare

Loving You is Blissful - My Darling Hubby

 Twilighting glow of the sky..
 Wanna fly so high..

 Sparkling amidst the million stars..
chosen the crazy pal and so life is excellently par..

As like the blossom were kissed by soft rain..
Your arrival in life diminished all my pains..

God has entwined me..with my emarald diamonite gem..
Enlightening new vistas in life as like your next aim..

At an astounding pace time flew..
But When i didn‘t see you..I feel like..Life is been dew..

Your divine presence in life rejuvenates me..
Every tick of my heartbeat resonating wit your‘s or whatever it will be..

Your innumerable naughtiness made me silly..
But yep, your beautifying nature had an fragrance in life like lilly..

As like snow crested the nestled mountains..
You cuddled my persona..like a sip of fountains..

Being With you, Life is euphorically elated..
Full of high spirit and delighted..

Thanks for being accompanying me my theist..

Your admirer with lots n lots of Love:

Green leaves of mango tree

Green tiny leaves of mango tree,
Dancing outside caressed by the wind,
Gleaming and beaming bathed by the rain,
Allowing my heart to be inspired and gain.

I think about having to be in your world,
Even if it takes only a minute from my world,
To forget some sadness and ease that pain,
In my heart who has been a fool again.

Why is my heart still in love with him?
Even though I know his world doesn't come to me,
Only in my dreams I could be on my own,
Pretending he loves me and we're flying to the moon.

Green leaves of mango tree bathed by the rain,
Tell me how can i ease this pain.

ASKING THE CORAL MOON TO PAINT THE TROPICAL NIGHT BLUE

This lonely, calm island,
not bigger than Portland
is our escape from reality...
in it there's much possiblity.

Even the happy lovers on Venice's lagoon
will envy our secretive, peaceful place;
wouldn't they pay the largest fortune
for a night under the moon's alluring face?

You, sweet joy, lay on my chest...
let the bright clouds carry your serene dreams far away;
while you tremble under my caress...
how sublime is to see those green palm trees sway!

I, lover and friend, will obey any command:
whisper it, or write it in the shimmering, silver sand;
I will look away as if I had no curiosity or clue...
asking the coral moon to paint the tropical night blue.

The Stars Beyond the Sunset

Walk with me
the water's edge,
when the sun
and sea have met...
Our shadow's long,
the day is gone,
but it's not
dark just yet...
A kiss, and passion
fills our souls,
as the beauty
of the night unfolds...
Lovers now
- in silhouette,
we share the stars
beyond the sunset...

Earth Angel

From the moment that I met you,
As I gazed upon your eyes,
I was overwhelmed with comfort,
As I began to realize,
That you are my soul mate,
You balance me out,
That you’re the yin to my yang,
In my mind there’s no doubt,
So I share with you this poem,
To express my emotions,
For you as a person,
They’re as deep as earths oceans,
An earth angel in spirit,
You're living in the light,
You give power unto others,
Through knowledgeable insight,
You’re a beautiful person,
Your hearts filled with love,
You’ve the mind of a goddess,
Intentions pure as doves,
Your figure is as gorgeous,
As the moon and the stars,
You motivate others,
To seek out whom they are,
Your aura shines vibrant,
Your smiles gleam bright,
The advice that you give,
It reflects divine light,
If the whole world could meet you,
They'd begin to believe,
That through thinking divinely,
True beauty is achieved.

The Wind

We feel the coolness of its touch when summer has begun. With oceans as its ally we’ve seen what wind has done. If wind had never filled the sails of ships from long ago, Just where this land we love would be I think no one can know. We note that mighty hurricanes begin as gentle breezes We sometimes even calculate the force behind our sneezes. Winds come in a myriad of meteorological forms Some are tiny whirlwinds while some are raging storms. So, when I feel the slightest puff or strain to keep my feet I’ll just remember winds are only currents that we meet. The winds are known by many names, these have been just a few So, I care not where they take me, as long as it’s to you. Written By John Posey 05/24/13 Author’s Note: This Poem was inspired by Gail Angel Doyle’s Poem “Where the Wind Blows” Jake

Withered Sentiments

The petals rains on me,
Smothering the blemishes on my skin.
An idyllic red bleeds to a crimson shade,
And my heart feels it once more,
Withered by my sentiments.

In the midst of reds and yellows,
Hands held out in a field of shadows.
Swirling in the echoes of a laughter,
Running away,
Chasing for the scent of a rose.

They said a prayer would stop the pricking,
Should I choose to hold on to a rose.
To embrace a memory made of thorns,
To linger on the pathway of forlorn,
And enjoy the moment of my fall.

But, a piano starts to resound in the heart,
And a tone of darkness blends in with the lies.
Its taunting melody sings of him,
While his memory turned its back on me,
The withering rose starts to cry alone.

What’s left of me is lost in you,
But I can’t find you.

Sea Idyll

In a world of conflict and scheming,
may I never awaken from dreaming
of someday being able to float
out -- out in my own little boat --
out on a moon-lit bay
where tropical waters play
and a cooling breeze drifts by.
The salt sea air would be bracing --
would set my weary heart racing --
there on that moon-bright bay.
Only gulls overhead, as they fly, and I,
would hear, from the sandy shore,
the palms as they rustle. I sigh --
oh -- I never would ask for more
than to float on the nurturing sea --
only you and the moon there with me.

Lingering Glance

Silent moments together that Creates passionate desire.
Feeling the closeness of nature that bloomed on face of the one we admire,
creating warmth that ignites into a burning fire, giving feelings that takes us
to the seven heavens or even higher...

Gazing in nature marvel as our eyes met each other so profound that
we immediately drowned into each other's gaze. Holding each other there,
and no use for words to say, as we exchange a visible frisson in lingering glance.

Bodies so close while we shared a romantic dance, a sensation like a hypnotic trance,
Then our heart takes over and emotions conquered the rest searching for comfort,
I rest my head upon his chest. Feeling the pounding of his heart that beats only love for me

Accepting the gift of love that overflows the hearts. Awaken flame
which makes no other pleasure feels the same. A complete satisfaction of wholeness
That goes beyond physical attraction to a deeper commitment.

Dream on

 DREAM ON

I dream on, from my dome to my chest
to my toes and to the tips of my palms.
We dream on, in the land of the free,
but where freedom comes at a cost and
sacrifice for others the achieve their dream.

I dream on, flying over an icy mountain top,
To the sweat taste of lemon drops,
To the cool relief of mist burning over a
desert black top as I brain storm lessening
to heart beat of my favorite song.

We dream on, from the top of
lonely tropical island hill top
to the sit and the smell of a breath
taking Forrest and to a falling
sun afflicting a shining sea
that is the best part of the day
I rather spend ending enjoying with a beautiful
woman... the sit and the breeze.

A Forest Fire's Prayer

please make me more simple.
kill the most part of my life.

if arson is my destiny,
let me turn to ashes nothing but the dry leaves
on feet of the trees, so they’ll grow denser with ease.

tell sorrowful tales to the sky
about wild orchids, dead before they bloom
about fallen seedless fruits.
about birds lost in smoke, birds losing their nests.
make her cry. make the sky shed her tears.
help the forest foster more leaves and grow
a greener green.

take me to the town’s waste
to the kitchens of the famished
to the veins of those shivering with loneliness
to the couple who’ve spent too long sharing
their backs with one another

please make me more humble.

The Untouched

They say no man had been on her lands, Yet there she lies, Lonely And Untouched. Her emerald dress glittered against the sunlight. Wafting with every passing breeze, Revealing her dark, creamy skin. Tempting me with what laid underneath. She sings with every passing breeze. Her enchanting voice humming to the tune of the forest. She was beautiful and enchanting. Yet there she lies, Lonely And Untouched. The smell of soil and dew hung onto her. Perfuming her body. And she heaved with every passing breeze. Her body was positioned for discovery. And she was filled with endless of mysteries. Untouched. Yet she did not resist my body. She took me in, Mesmerizing me with her every move. Capturing me with every passing breeze. And there I lay, Brushed against her soft, virgin skin. Feeling lucky, To be where no man has been.

Speckled Mist

Speckled Mist
 Beautiful colors, magnificent swirls
Large enough to consume our world
Then as if connected to an invisible cord
All become stiff as an old iron board

More beauty than could ever be caught
Its multitude could never be bought
The force of it all becomes unstoppable
Within one breath it forms into a single giant molecule

Watching all things stiff
 Starts forming a speckled mist
 Within a dark green hiss
 It's a piranhas kiss
 Thats what that is

And out of the violet mane
 There hearts open souls untamed
From speckles to freckles to lines we would miss
 Within a males pyist
It's love not in a grist
It just keep forming out a name
Once again eyes wide open love without game

ROSES FOR PD

They are deep red like blood and hearts not forlorn;
they induce romance through fervent kisses
and embraces, but wilt when they are forgotten.

I've bought this pretty bouquet for someone I adore,
and smelling it, I am lifted to the sublimest state;
wait until she sees it: she'll reminisce a sunset shore.

They are deep red like blood and are given on anniversaries
and Valentine's Day; they are the ultimate flowers to make one
remember those special occasions that made lovely memories.

The February sky is a whimsical scenery: snowflakes
and stars mix together and create a vivid imagery...
let's kiss and ask the frosted moon to be our witness.

Sweet Purity Bedecked

We two, beneath the shadow of the trees
Where daisies and wild flowers deck the ground.
The fairies of forever sing their glees.
What greater love in life does there abound?
A brighter view, sunlight upon posies,
Bears witness to the beauty within found.
Young lovers whisper promises betrothed.
Sweet purity upon their souls bedecked.

Reflections in the Firelight

The wood is piled
my emotions riled
Sweet expectations
settle in my soul

Sweat dappled brows
my emotions drowse
sudden conclusions
fill in the hole

of my heart.

The fire started in the pit
warming ourselves
in it's globe
and there we sit
like two lost elves
waiting to disrobe

Take your time,
Love
The perfect man
does exist.

My Nest

Love is my nest.
It holds me
where all the world I see.
It saves me
from the ground
which my soul will never meet.

Up in a forest tree
hunters scattering in threes
they'll never catch me
I have love.
I am perfectly happy.

relaxed I am
I do not stress
for there isn't life
without my nest.

who cares what's below?
I am above.
love is my nest
My nest is my love.

Amidst the flowers

Love midst the flowers

The roses bloom so endlessly
In pink and red and yellow
And orange too with purest white
As the morn feels soft and mellow
We sit together drinking tea
As love fills all of me
And oh, it feels so wonderful
Cause, that’s the way love be.

The birds sing out in tenderness
As they pray to the golden sun
And you and I sit sipping tea
No longer two, but one
As the love, the joy of perfect love
Does deep within me sing
Those birds are singing just for us
And so much bliss do bring.

The Sun shines in the deep blue sky
I smell the whiff of Jasmine
As love sings from a gentle heart
Above all worldly din
As you and I together, dear
We sit here sipping tea
Nothing matters in the whole wide world
But the love twixt you and me.

The Canvas of Night

The Canvas of Night

Stars like sprinkled sugar,
lay strewn across the canvas of night,

enthralled by the wonder of the cosmos,
my dreams take to the heavens in effervescent flight,

I bathe in the beauty, soaked in sublime delight,
absorbed in moments of bliss, transfixed by the serene sight.

Stars like sprinkled sugar,
lay strewn across the canvas of night,

and my being is infused with feelings of hope,

for even in darkness I find the sprinkled sugar of hope's light.

MOM I'm Pregnant

What shall I say to her?

What if she knows?

Can she tell that I carry another soul?

As I wonder what would I tell mom...

All these thoughts paced through my head,

I should have NEVER laid in his bed...

Sweet nothings was ALL that he said...

He got what he wanted, then left, just fled...

I was weak a young victim a surely misled...

When I confessed to my mother,

That I had slept with my lover,

And in a few months she'd be a grandmother...

Her face turned cherry red, yet words where still unsaid...

Days turned into months,

My belly stuck out further in front...

 Finally we spoke today,

She said "When is he due?"

I replied "This May the 8th."

She said "She loves me!"

That was it, nothing else to say but "I love you too mom, in a special way!"

For it will be a blessed Mothers Day...

My Statistic: Life is challenging enough, it tends to be even
Harder for adolescence because they don't
Know as much as they think they
Know in actuality they don't. But mistakes and accidents are
Apart of life.... You live and you learn...

Summertimes

It's the first day of summer,
When we sit on the fresh green grass,
When the sun rays bring us warmth,
When our visions reflect the blue sky above,
When the fragrance of flowers linger in our heart
When our laughter was a tune in the air...

And it's the end of summer,
When you sit me on a crushed flower,
When the rays of sun become faint,
When our vision can see the dark sky,
When you let the rain kiss my cheek,
And the silence is the only thing we can hear....

Smoke a lil sumthin to make us feel so light,

One candle burning flickering just right,
Here with our loves, the moon shines so bight,

We walk through the trails, to stretch our legs and feel the air,
we get so spooked we run back feeling fear,
We laugh out loud to clear the air,
Enjoy this time from here to there,
Cinco de mayo is outa sight,

We love each other all so right.

Lose Control

Let’s lose control
Let’s entice the soul,
With champagne swishes
Chilled in iced bowls.
From your head to your toes
Every nerve will explode,
Every body sensation
I’ve cracked nature’s code.
It’s not on paper
It’s what your face shows;
It tells me go fast
Then it tells me go slow,
Then blows my mind
Showing Lose control.
All exposed
The most radiant glow,
The most beautifulness thing
Ever let go.
Lose control
Feel safe…there’s no foes,
Only me…Let go…

OF a Tree, Thee, and an Angel's Fee

Force feed me the taste of your skin

‘You will have to break my chastity belt wide open now
for I have sold myself into silent slavery to this ….our universal broken heart

even you will have to try hard……to save me now

I cannot recall your sounds…your hand motions
as they devoured the subtle softness of me
drew round my curvaceous places in curling ownership
intimacies’ sweetest embrace

But too…you move to me
with a ferocity that mowed the grass down to a short golf course length
from the living room table where you drew it happening… a hundred years ago

The length of your hair too has been a subject of much debate
Love
that surging heavenly song...that told our story so well

like that movie from long ago about the girl who cut off and sold her hair to buy her love a golden watch fob and chain …the one who sold his golden watch to buy her a beautiful clip pin for her gorgeous long hair
………………………………..you see how this goes …with true love

We cut off our noses and then turn backs on our faces
and on each other on Facebook

Itself the enemy…where only devils and the luckiest of angels spread

Tread on me beloved!
till I am awakened
to our lips
which just now in writing I suddenly can feel meeting again

taste
smell
the salted brine of your pure water and sometimes beer soaked self

Is it me you feared
as you said Good bye?

How little you know me

like the formation of the first ever green tree grows up one limb at a time
from a base long song of deep roots and strong center...so beautiful the Hosts stagger before its creation ….Halleluiah
The limbs sprouting forth like the wings bursting out of the flesh of the first angel
who died in agony as they were formed….exploding from his shoulders
moving her hair aside as the arch of wing thrust like white tree limb from the goodness within
and the reincarnation of true kindness was born to the conscious of itself

so my love knows no limit
my soul no separation
and my being no longing

Night And Day

This gray day fades away.
The evening sunset paints the clouds,
Beauty beheld through transparent shrouds.

Awaiting his return,
For he is whom for I yearn.

I won’t cry as I see the purple sky.
I know he shall come home tonight.

This gray day fades away.
The night dyes the sky navy,
Beauty meld with lights from windows.

Sitting in his room,
For he will soon free me from gloom.

I won’t cry as I see the lit city.
I love how even loneliness has beauty.

The Heart's Anxiety

Shall I compare thee to a Fall Afternoon,
Nature's final chance, before eventual doom,
Opportunity for some and failure for a few,
Love is in the air, however, what will you do?

She has an intellect worth noting and long hair always glowing,
However, without effort, there is no knowing,
No clues ever seem to be showing,
Being vague is a curse, and a curse worth knowing.

My mind is in a haze as I think about asking her,
She could make life worth living, or just slam the door,
She could have a heart of ice to make me go "BUR"
But honest, what use is the waiting for?

Here is my chance as the night comes clear,
Time is important and the last leaf is near,
Risk is needed for all that is dear,
It is better to fail, than to miss something so near.

About a Rose

I found this poem I want you to see
This Poem was written, And it was just for me
It's about a rose that has its thorns
Resembling how ones life can suddenly be torn
This beautiful poem has caught my eye
Because it was written without any disguise
I never saw the thorns on that beautiful flower
Is a poem about love and it's heart binding power
love can be strong and sometimes it's blind
ceasing our hearts and controlling our minds
love is something you should never throw away
but remember be careful it can easily astray
that flower i picked was just right for me
as i knelt back up from off my knees
if only i knew and if only i could see
the thorns on that flower were strong while i was weak
they sliced me open and cut my wounds so deep
now all i can do is sit back and weep
as i pick my heart from off your feet
Your rose has turned to black satin and died
And in another red velvet rose, i will confide.

The Garden

The night air is cool and collective,
Running through my hair and face.
Even when I’m with people, I feel alone
In this cold blooded space.

It’s like walking through a garden
Of all your favorite foods,
But none of which can substantiate
For that one so special mood…

That mood,
that beautiful frame of mind.
I only go there with you,
And only you can make it unwind.

I discovered a passion unlike any other
And in my finding I opened a world,
A world I did not know existed.
I’m on cloud nine every time I think of you,
Just the thought of you brings joy to my heart.

This garden holds many beautiful things
Many delightful pleasures,
Many cold nights,
Warm nights,
Difficult frights,
Ecstatic times and unsystematic times!

But they mean nothing to me,
While I’m alone…

Walk with me through this garden.

Autumn's Blush

It's October now;
the air seems somewhat cooler
than my thoughts, yet, I can feel
the warmth in the breeze as it kisses
the trees.
They're turning slightly red
as I did, and am now, in remembering
when our lips first met.

It won't be long now
till they undress;
all good things fall
naked beneath covers of white.
Soon they'll reach out in anticipation
and feel the first few flakes of innocence
covering them deep within layers of thought.

They'll be less red then,
and more at ease in their nakedness
as they breathe deeper.

The wind's changing pitch again,
it's rising high in the hills,
falling low through the valley below.
I can feel it shifting with my thoughts
as I pull back the layers of my own mind.
It's no longer cool, this air, but rather warm
as it mingles your scent with memory, this day.

It's October, yet, I wonder,
will I too fall naked
and less red before autumn's passing?

The wind is calm right now,
it's pausing, but it's still October
and the trees are still slightly red
although I, I am more autumn-like
than they, in my remembering.

Monsoon Girl

She recall her day when she sat by the window
And saw the defiled sky to brace up on with spiritual phantasm
Of some demonic begrudges – amassing and making
The flushing spirit of the late evening merriments and bichrome realism.

She beshrewed the iniquity rushing by, but it pelted upon
It bastardized her against the immorality of the nature
And she held up with no parole and desires…
She felt herself interred to the nature that despair.

The inquity that brigthened with thunderclaps and silver storm
She averted her fear and assailed against this rage
Acquainted herself with the nature she forefended
Pounded for few moments and synced with the lifelike stage.

She clapped, she laughed, she fantasied with the zesty consequence
She danced, she danced with the drops falling from the sky,
She sung her own rhythm catching her steps divine
The music prolonged as the clouds lightened and twittery lyrics whistled thereby.

Enduring the theme, she limned in her imagination
A life she yearned-for, A life she was not expecting
She painted in her heart an amorist she was looking for
Holding his hand she balled on the miry stage with pavan relieving.

The lust she felt over her drizzly body
Closed her eyes as she felt the touch of his lips on her belly
He took hold of her waist and she accured the fanciful time with reverence
She dangled holding the dampen trunk of a tree, and embraced her amorist
temptingly.

The flushing spirit that bestowed with mightiness and relief
She glittered with love, spirit, esteem and belief
All of a sudden she roused from her phantasies
Withal the monsoon girl lived her day, ceasing all her grief.

In the garden populated with flowers

In the garden populated with flowers, red and budded,
Resort robins birds, with inflated fluffy feathers.
They fall in waves between the grass gushing in green
And the impetus of a small purifying pinkish river.

Somewhere in the far little barks that gleam
are resting with oars freely loose; Infants across,
in jackets navy-blue and decent hats,
kick around wide wheel with legs and sticks.

And their peaceful mothers waving in the sun white
handkerchiefs at nurses with wines and baskets overflowed
with food; wide dresses gently flared craw the pure grass,
back and pelvis are stretched drowsy upon accumbent canvases.

The gentlemen with flat cylinder hats: aristocrats and patricians,
undulate hair with radiance of gold, chested,
count cash incomes and score the points in game of cards.
Their coats carelessly abandoned as in modest ensemble of black.

Nearer are all solar deeds, the high stems
and underbushes; pekmez dropped on broad leaves
and bottle of beer – spilling gold with honeycomb like
soul, swings inept, far from the nosy flocks.

White shirt, tailcoat of tricolor velvet, flit about
loudly in a clash with shoes and jabots. The stockings
fly across, breeches slip, underpants reveal!
ideally undressed and with an exquisite moan in reverie:

 The two male bodies.

Wind stops blowing, it’s hot again
Blow the clouds apart please.

BREATHING

From the moment I sleep
to the moment I wake
From the moment of death
to the moment of birth
It wasn't the amount of breaths I took that ment i lived,
it was the amount you took away.

Death never came on swift feet for me.
It came on the wind pushing me off the cliff blowing in my ear,
                                                                      Pushing thoughts in my head
Throwing my emotions stronger than any hurricane

Your sweet voice carried on a soft breeze
It speaks to my heart in rhyme
It can even pick me out of before to now
and throw me back in time

Every moment I see you I gasp.
Knowing you don't have to put effort in for me
                                                                  to collapse from your beauty,
Hoping the next time I do you give me the kiss of life.

Wild Rugged Misty Moor

Collecting vistas
from the wild untameable
misty moor
Rugged and timeless
for the eyes to adore
Spiralling hills and sweeping green vales
Plagued by harsh wind rain and hail
Bubbling brook
and silver ribboned streams flow
Where the purple carpets of heather grow.

Moss covered old drystone walls
baron trees from which the crow
shouts out it's raucous calls
A patchwork quilt of varying greens
and tawny browns
Where sheep majestically graze
with their woolly down.

A rustic stone cottage
long abandoned and run down
graces a hill
Where the wind blows through
the windows with a haunting howl
and biting chill.

A place where many an artist and poet
have been drawn to and inspired
Their hearts at one with nature and beauty
their imagination fired.

A place through the ages
Countless lovers have dreamed and swooned
under the velvet diamonded filled skies
and magical glowing moon
Love stories now left untold lost in time
the pledges of soft love and romance
ans sweet love divine.

An idle timeless wonder land
crafted by Gods loving artful hand.

Love To Immortalise

Strong storm blew the boat until it did strand
Upon rock_ shore so very far away.
Please my gentle lover give me your hand
There is no way you would let me be prey

Row me and the boat ashore to assay
This beautiful place we will immortalise
No! we did not go down in depths to decay
Nor did guardian angel go down likewise

Didn't matter what nature will devise
Lived through shipwreck we will go down in fame
Thru this somehow we will be eternise
The whole wide world will remember my name

Now this small green isle we'll surely subdue
As our great love grows and somehow renew

It Looks Like Love to Me

You smile
You ask
No easy task
To put it into words
I look
And see
Then say, it looks like love …to me

It’s that blanket on a winter night
You wrap around me oh so tight
The way you want to make things right
Honey, it just has to be,
It looks like love…to me

You laugh
You say
There’s no other way
To be just who you are
I smile
Happily
Then say, it looks like love …to me

It’s the way you take me in your hold
You never let our love grow old
There’s not one doubt, for me I’m sold
Honey, it just has to be,
It looks like love…to me

If love was ever one person
Then babe it would you
There is no other word for this
That’s why our love holds true

You look
Then smile
All the while
You never look away
My eyes
They see
It looks like love… to me

Yeah, honey
It looks like love… to me

The Blinds and Pane

Through the dark still summer's night,
'bove waves of sea-green foam,
speeds a beam of dim moonlight
that's left its lunar home...
Easily it makes its way,
as nature was intending,
through Heaven's gate
its path is straight,
not circular or bending.
Between the stars, and fields of grain
it sets the world a glow,
as it slips between the blinds and pane
of a single house below...
It lands upon a snuggled pair,
for its path was true (and chosen).
A kiss they share, their bodies bare
they're lovers interwoven...

Love Is In The Air Tonight

Baby lets take that drive today.
Its the right time to get away.
Lets go to that same old spot
that we both know so well.

Its there. The sun
is always warm and nice.
And the river runs so cool,
always flowing thru our minds.

Love is in the air tonight.
This time, this time that we share.
Being here, being here without a care.
Love is in the air tonight.

When we're here we feel free.
So plentiful, just you and me.
We know its here for sure.
We'll make love all thru the night.

Love is in the air tonight.
Holding hands below the stars.
Below the stars, we begin to dance.
And we'll dance all thru the night.

Love is in the air tonight.
We'll sleep all day,
just to wake all night.
To wake and love and dance.

Under stars again,
love in the air to share.
Another night again,
always hand and hand.

Love is in the air tonight.

SHIPWRECKED for white contest et al

SHIPWRECK SURVIVOR

He was lost in white surprise
Of drugs and doctors quips
His mind was filled with flapping sails
Of white that guide the ships
To dance among the white capped rocks
In North white nights of June
Bring in the catch to catch the maid
Who’d be his wife so soon.

Wild hair so white it shamed the sheet
That soft caressed the grass
The grass-plagued daisies held her there
As clouds triumphant passed
In columns white the bossy clouds
Marched brisk across the sky
But none of them could match the spark
Of whiteness in her eye.

And then his shocked brain shifted
Jigged timed across his life
How many white nights had escaped?
The maid now was his wife!
Saw breasts so white that milk they gave
Seemed paltry in contrast--
To feed the babe that snuggled there--
The fruit of love surpassed.

Then shipwreck banged into his head
The white-flashed lightning zing--
He tested feet and moved his legs
Seemed he’d survived this fling
Of nature’s whims again he’d live
 to tell the lusty tale
of how north winds had jumped from waves
to grab their ship's main sail.
Before the White Christ
Had emerged from his Semitic genes
The sailors would have cried for Thor
To ease his hammerings.

Sailors lost were prices paid
To live in northern shores.
And, lost at sea was ever feared
By them, and wives adored.

He’d play a trick, they’d think him dead--
Would make a crafty tale!
By his hearth and in his bed
would sound a mourning wail.
His house would be a feast of black
Mad weeping would impress--
Then his imagination called her tears
He vowed each tear to bless

He smirked to think of their surprise
When he stalked through the door--

       An unsuccessful leap from bed—
                       He’d rest a little more.

And being man-- he pondered sex
And pleasures it would bring
There was no sizzling passion like
His lover’s offering.

Needle rudely poked-
Morphia drew him in
To dream the dreams of healing arms
       delightful prickles of his skin
He found her far beyond his pain--Oh, that smile that could disarm!
In dreams , with wife, in languid bliss
         created white hot charm.

PRE WHIT E STORIC

Winter wild of flurries
In ancient minds
Was a shelter
  From white fear

Wolves roved
  Stayed in packs
   Howled their presence
   Hating snow

Bears slept
 Hidden away
 Violence and terror
  Only a summer dream

White drifts
  Blazing blizzards
  Wrapped safety
   Around fragile human life.

Moon

Might I ask about what the moon means to you?
It means the world revolves in a transcending path with a satellite.
Why does the moon shine in the midnight sky?
It shines because it is a guide between the world of the dead and the living.

So does the moon fill the air with hope?
The moon itself is hope for people.
Why does the moon pull us in with such soul searching?
It is because we feel that the moon is part of our every day life.

Children who asks these questions; I have strive to tell them some truth,
And for the adults out there I created a little Moon lite poem to sooth.

So the moon is our light in the darkest hour of the night
With romance in the air that is so bright
We all hold hands once in a moonlit walk
And with such passion we would talk
The moon gives us our pull on each others heart
With a dinner that we take part
The ritual of wooing ones heart is a great feeling of love
The moon is always there to shine right above
In time we think we are blinded by the moon
But to tell you the truth it reflects the sun light during midnight noon
It gives out a warmth in the darkness
We probably do not think of it less
Because the moon is our memories of our past
It shows it everyday and night and always last

Silent Night Sky

Oh how can one capture
Your beauty on paper
Without you evaporating
Off as it is your nature

The stars are your jewels
The moon is your crest
Everyone drools
As if blessed

Your silence is serenity
That whisper to my thoughts
An overwhelming beauty
That ties my stomach up in knots

How humble I am sound
A beauty incomparable
With a radiance so profound
Your absence is unbearable

the Human Seasons: Elements At War and Peace, Part IV

                                                                 4.

Each dawn, the cold steps back a pace,
And in the lengthening light the tender green steals up
Through the retreating ice and snow
As the lands rise fresh and free from the deathlike sleep again,
To play the full young mother dressed out in life itself,
Strolling through the warming, waxing sun.

Growth and generation give the lie
To the empty time so short before
Everything renewed proclaims its exoneration from stasis
And beauty runs riot, freed from its long waiting
To declare its immortality again.

And for he and she love grows anew
In the hopes reborn in the spring's thaw
The heart's slow healing gathers force with the blooming
As they pull the threads of their lives back together,
Sewing them closer with trust and forgiveness,
Going on again in the thousand-odd ways
That make a single life of two.

Love trumpets again its smug triumph
Through the wakening world,
For it too is one of the old, strong forces,
The one that holds together what would fain break itself apart
To its own rack and ruin;
The ultimate surgeon,
Healing with slow steely cuts
Cauterizing the strangely sweet wells of pain
With unquenchable fire
That burns,
Promethean.

If you were a seed

If you were a seed
I'd be the breeze you could drift on
'til you chose the soil you wished to land upon
and plant yourself within.

If you were a flower
I'd tend your roots and water you
I'd clear a pathway for the sun to reach you
I wouldn't pull you from the ground
or place you in a glass upon my shelf.

If you were the sun
I'd languish in the light you bathed upon me
Then I would be you moon
and let my light shine down upon you.
We could be day and night together
lighting each others lives forever.

If you were, then I would be
This is what love means to me.

Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Darts

Drops of sweat slip from my furrowed brow
Eyes squint, select a number and let fly now

Miss again, a millimetre is a mile once more
Aimed for triple twenty, only got double four

The walk of shame, my oh so familiar friend
Silence broken, on alcohol I forever depend

The steel point of eyes bore into my neck
My opponent leaves me a juddering wreck

I lose the match; the wife won’t give me a kiss
I wish I could have been anything else than this...

Evening in Pink

Pinkish hue, flourishes, in Heavens sky.
Graciously flavoring view for solitude,
Driving your soul into eternity forever,
This scene calms both your heart and spirit.
Classic views of red sensitive, but many,
Pink skies deliver us beyond just love.
Sealing spirit to quantify each existence,
Capturing sensual desires for all who see,
Delving into psyche of harmonious minds,
Enriching secrets kept hidden from many,
Though shared by few, are divinely met.
Truly indescribable, is an evening in pink.

Vast Love

The love that kisses with a tasteless tear
A pain that can’t be painted on the soul
A longing for a place without a fear
Longing for a feeling that makes me whole
Beloved, words can’t heal my tattered heart.
As thorns pass me by the pain cant compare
That of the pain of being torn apart
Even the wind howls about it I swear
Tell me was falling in love my mistake
I chose my own fate and decided to stay
I will not let this love become forsaken
Love can’t just get up and spirit away
Love is worth overcoming a mountain
My love for you flows like a vast fountain

Moment to Indulge

There we stand beneath a leaf ridded tree
Holding one another gazing deeply with eyes locked
We listen to the tall delicate grass sway in the wind
Across the calm waters the moon floats full
Beams of glowing light spread throughout the horizon
The indigo sky sparkles with glittery stars
This is a night full of dreams and intense emotions
Extraordinary opportunity to feast on each others lips

The Winter Breeze

The cool winter breeze blowing across me,
the sweet little bird flying in the sky free.

Everything so cool and calm around
all happiness lost, seems again to be found,

in the nature of life with the cool winters
and always hope for good with crossed fingers

Such a season, physically changing the mind,
cooling off every anger, whatever that I find.

Along with the breeze the winter brings in
the warmth of happiness, and a lovely dream

The dream of a girl, smiling at me
everything looks beautiful ,just as is she.

Walking along with her ,I'm always at ease
she holds my hand and we walk in the winter breeze.

Falling Leaves

We met in a land where the leaves
Turn as gold as desert sand.
We met by chance,
Now we are lost in our romance.
His kiss fills me with bliss.
This imaginary oasis is no illusion.
Our love, no mirage in a desert.
We met fatedly, near trees,
The sun shining through.
We met and felt meant to be.
Soon we must continue our own journeys.
My compassion and love for him
Makes me feel like this.
Our love, though warm,
May someday blow away like falling leaves.

Ignorance is Bliss for Some

The piano cried
The curtains turned their backs
The windows slammed
Refusing the wind to come in
All while the bonsai stood motionless
Apathetic to what was happening
The wind blew harder and harder
The windows stood as guards
Willing to lay down their mortal lives
He doesn't deserve you
You're too good for him
He's too weak to be your lover
Whispers of revolting loathing
Against the innocent wind
All watched as he cracked
Including the bonsai, who disregarded him
And went to console the piano
I understand now Mother
How feeble and pathetic the wind is
She murmured with a reassuring smile
I'll forget the winds very being

Follow Me Into A World For Only Us

Follow me into a world
Where our wildflowers grow.
A secret garden hidden away
For only us to see and know.

Roses grow as big as hands
when they blossom from a vine.
When the green meets the trellis,
The wood and colors entwine.

Butterflies flutter before us,
Reminding us of how to dance.
The tulips open for our eyes,
Craving more than just one glance.

The taste of moisture in the air.
Proud smell of Earth on our fingers.
We lay down upon lush grasses,
Where the touch of morning dew lingers.

Clouds, they make silly shapes
Upon the softened blue skies.
How warm this secret world feels
When I look into your eyes.

Sadly now my heart breaks
For I do not wish us to go.
We walked into a sacred world.
For only us to see and know.

A L O N

O kakapit at tatayo, humakbang palayo dito

Black Love

                 Black LOVE

             My head rested
on the pillow of her smooth skin.
She opened the curtains of her being,
My hands slip into indulgence while
they explored her expansive dark skin.
With half words she whispered moans,
 followed by screams of passion.
With her shadow I bounded, as she
swarmed waters of our endless longing passed.

emotional beauty

emotional beauty

uneasy lies the head
that wears the crown
no make up instead
your face never frown
if your lips turn red
you still not grown

beauty is the emotion
that emotionally connects you
to the spontaneous self
and you must have caution
for that emotion reflects you
to the simultaneous self

need not worry about beauty
but a beauty
that's not on the booty
but that on the mind's duty
to think beyond the facial
and artificial beauty
an emotional beauty

why worry about your looks
did not you read in the books
of how beauty comes from within
and not by the looks?

It is important to personally analyse yourself from within. If you get so easily carried by what goes around; so shall it come back around your neck. Look at yourself carefully and try by all means to 'imagine' that person you think its you and see how different you are from yourself. Beauty is how capable are you of any situation to respond and react in a systemic psycho-analytic being and not from the physical appearances that are enhanced by scientifically modified chemics and cosmetics. Your personality is dependent on your mental freedom and mental situation analysis. <

Night is Nigh

The night is nigh with parting day
Winds blow slowly over land
As I plod homeward, my weary way
And sunset dips behind the man,
Far from the maddening crowds and stressful life
The pleasing anxious night is nigh
Leaving arms of warmth this blissful day
A kindred spirit shall be my mate
Let me see him at daylight’s break
And while the sun sets on my lawn
And as the brook babbles near my ear
My love will erase all my fear,
Gentle hands stroke my hair,
Heart of strength press me close
The more he gave, the less I spoke,
A slumberous sound and loving dreams,
I welcome night and the silent breeze,
The night is nigh, and I am pleased.

What Whispers The Wind.

The winds is too haunting
its dour, dreary and daunting
its voiceless song is wanting
for souls to listen it flaunting

Its whistling tunes that play
eerie melodies of dismay
oft sweet, oft an angered fray
they beckon me to come away

From my souls lone sojourn
where the ashes never burn
to reach out for what I yearn
learning to forget, to unlearn

The winds are too disturbing
and the chills are unnerving
so guilty and undeserving
of memories they're reserving

They are calm as moonlight
and a lonely souls delight
whispering sharp yet slight
with many a secret to confide

And I listen with attention rapt
at the words so true and apt
to souls that the winds trapped
that apprehensively adapt

The winds are so tantalizing
mystic, musical and surprising
tapering and quickly rising
hypnotic and channelizing

They bring what we forget
all our pain and our regret
words meant to remain unsaid
truths and the lies we dread

They are calling me desperately
the song turns a woeful plea
and I wish it would swallow me
with the whispers I long to flee

And be a secret of the breeze
the incessant mourns that freeze
the souls passing by the trees
the singer that no one sees

Setting my shivering soul aflame
my minds peace it can't reclaim
at times it whispers Your name
subtly, I whisper back the same.

Distant African Nights

Those Distant African Nights...

1.

The shadows swayed in your candlelit room,

a cool breeze teasing your bare back,

streaks of lightning forked in the Johannesburg night,

as my hands stroked your hair,

kissing your soft mouth,

holding you,

ever so tight.

2.

You whispered that you loved me,

and I kept silent,

the rain fell,
shadows danced,
thunder rolled,

the breeze teased your naked back,

you whispered that you loved me,
as my lips found yours,

the rain washed over our tender nights,

lightning and candlelight,

etching poems on your burnished skin,

yet,

a fear gnawed at me,

deep within.

3.

We parted ways,
and you could never forgive me, you said,

now, after numberless thunderstorms,

the rain that falls,

echo the countless tears that I have shed.

4.

You are long gone,

far away,

happy, I pray,

yet the memories persist,

those precious moments shall never,
ever,

like the Jo'burg rains,
trickle away,

and I wish you well,
for loving me as you did,

for it was I who was not worthy,

then,

and it is I who is not worthy,

now...

5.

You were always true,

it was I who always,

always,

refused to,

to give myself,

completely to you.

The Sieve of Time

The Sieve of Time

Cast ashore,
along the banks of time,

whirling through the passing years,
clinging to my futile scribbles set in rhyme,

Cast ashore,
thrust into an unrehearsed pantomime,

clenching slivers of joy as weariness descends,
lulled into a peaceful slumber exhilaratingly sublime.

Cast ashore,
hazily adrift, a dandelion seed on the wings of time,

trapped in the sieve of spiralling memories,
caught between pristine bliss, and reeking slime.

Cast ashore,
flung aside for no discernible crime,

my human heart thuds with elusive hope,
though battered, bruised, and covered in grime,

I stagger ashore,

alone,

embracing each moment of detached, oblivious time.

Daisy

I will write you a poem
a poem of endless inspiration,
of beauty,
and the warmth of a perfect love.....

thy loving sun has reigned down with gracious hope
the wild wind has pulled clouds from afar
precious rain has begun to fall once again
the new season has brought a flower of my ladies dream
a solitary white Daisy has pushed to the surface
a beauty in it's candid display
a simplistic grand design
a classical song of a brilliant architect
I ponder the dreams it has inspired.....

a gift of Gods splendor
a gift for you

You Make me feel like a Sunset

You make me feel like a
Summer's sunset on a beach:
Watching the bight rays stretch
Out across the waves,
Saying one last golden goodbye to the world
Before it goes to sleep; allowing
The stars and moon to take its place in the
Evening sky, as they sparkle across
The water like thousands of dancing snowflakes.

about the ashes

Mnemosyne's colour wheel glitches through August,
on that candid orange the dogs howled into
during our autumn countdown.
When we still had a countdown.
When we still had August.

I remember the moonlight traveling westward
and seeing your face lined with silver.
I remember Artemis taking an emergency exit and landing,
landing in the closest pool of warmth. You, you, you.
And I remember dreaming. I remember testing
what the world was like outside of you.

The singed leaves remind me how to breathe
on this street, the same way you used to.
I am learning about the ashes.
Sometimes we must burn the atlas
before charting ourselves from scratch.
Sometimes love must die, first.

In heaven's attic, even angels lose their meaning.
Returning only, when someone remembers:
the attic is still a part of home.
When touching means dust on your fingers.
When suddenly, you are intruding.

Her

I'm done being stuck in intermissions of love
Seeing doves fly...so high above blue skies
Wandering around lovers lane alone
Jumping at the sound conversing her vocal tones
Maybe today will become different full blown

Sadly strolling below my own heart
Mourning and burning for her touch
Short circuiting the fundamentals in sentimental growth
Just another way to speak peaks of sexual growth below
Although its not all I bestow, romanticism explains my flow

Candle lights overtaking a field of moonlit flowers...

MY MUSE-LIKE LOVER!

She is like the stars...placed in my eyes, shining bright...
A blanket of seduction wrapped around my beingn huging me tight...
She is like the rain, quenching my thirst with every kiss...
Calling for her restlessly in my dreams, caught-up in her bliss...
She is like my wings, soaring great heights through the sky...
Spanning my chamber with her love, in unison we fly...
She is like my Third-Vision, a majestic eagle seeing afar...
Beyond the lands of our forefathers...taking me to where sages are...
She's my innocence exposed, my thoughts that speaks loud & all I hoLd at heart dear...
Trembling with every depth of feeling, with every whisper that I hear...
She is like my breath, my every beat in rhythmic time...
I feel her, like centripetal-force, pulling me in as we entwine...
She is as I...in Love...

Friendly Love

There are a lot of things to say
Why do I feel so alive when you're around?
There’s so much to do today
But how do I get rid of the clouds – shadowy and gray
We're lying on the ground...
Looking at the stars overhead...

You are my beloved friend –
Our love won’t break or bend
I’ll love you until the very end…
I’ll love you endlessly…our happiness blends
Like coffee and cream– yum!
I know…these rhymes are quite dumb…aren’t they?

Our light will shine and burn out the night
Maybe there’s a star in the sky that scorches with love

You are my superb friend –
Our love won’t wear off or wither away
I’ll love you until the day I die
I’ll love you every day…our delight will be
As sweet as pie – how appealing
I know…these words are overused…aren’t they?

Our flight will be as dazzling as the elegant eagle
Trained to ascend for more than half his life – or we’ll be like the seagull!!
We could fly there and catch it someday
Fly…fly..fly…with me! Shoot the bull’s eye!
Our love will never die…so don’t say otherwise
Or I’ll sink in dismay

Winter

Gray is the season
that withers
blossoms dulled by
satin frost
how they sadly fall
cruel chill, it
breaks them all
rest, Rest immortal
doves
while Winter feigns
treasures lost

Crystal brooks still
as dusk
mirror figures warm
at heart
oaks over icy knolls
sprawling old souls
flutter, flutter
leafless arches
for that single
spark of life to
start

Blushing through
frozen woods
morning hints at
splendor, frail
a starling in the
snow
sleeping on her
bough
wake, wake feathered
angel
sing sweet trills of
the nightingale

Hearts and Flowers - Romanticism In Rime Royal

If roses alabaster white e'er deign
To cast in crystal eyes one purposed song,
Dare tenderly to grasp the bluest vein
O, golden tears, a reddened heart ere long.
For blown, a wind of breath, whisked far along
Does shimmer in all time stood silent--still,
And by the lunar light, a broken will.

Come morning, to the rose in bed, love spoke
A cantillation voiced in bluebird tongue
How doth thy petals rise with blood of oak?
How dost thy stem ascend the fairest rung?
On heights o' heaven hast the soul been hung
For all, for all, to bare no droplet spared
O Life, in alabaster love repaired.

In the Sun the Moon the Stars

I do not trust my form,
to act as an adequate vehicle to carry my Love for You.
It aches with decadence and decomposition.

Skins cells flake in exhaustion,
Hair follicles abort out of fatigue
Finger nails and toes nails crack , peel and tear.

Bones creak in warning,
Muscles retreat in lethargy
Skin hangs, falls and sags.

So I place my Love in the sun,
the moon,
the stars,
the grass,
the leaves.

So that I may continue to adore you in everything,
with everything.

A Sonnet For The Endearing Rose

A gentle being, is the rose;
though its nails can be quite sharp.
The lovely flower, I suppose;
controls the human heart.

For valentines, it bleeds so red;
for mother’s, yellow sun.
All will bow their lovely heads;
once their day is done.

Their fragrance, it will mesmerize;
all those who are near.
It doesn't matter, what their size;
lovers, they draw near.

So much more regal than the rest;
the rose, is nature’s family crest,

The Air

Sweet scents Fill my empty lungs I can hardly relent From singing the unsung Is as before These places I adore But the breath will be my death If my heart keeps racing And I keep embracing The sweet spring air The air I breathe now Is the air we shared then How Can I get back what's already been? Words trace down my throat Bittersweet after taste Gently afloat But becoming a waste It is the same here It is the same there But the sun is not here And the wind is not there Only clear blue tears And the silent dare The air I breathe now Is the air we shared then But please how Can I get back what's already been?

The Beauty

The Beauty
Your beauty is so breathtaking that even the sun comes back day after day half-awake after a restless night using the mountains as camouflage until it wakes up completely to see your beauty with its own bright eyes. If I were the sun, I would bow before your presence and I would shower the morning with kisses which would be in the form of sunlight warming your hands, touching your eyes with my sunlight receding off your eyes for the whole world to see the glow in your eyes. Your beauty is so radiant that even the moon comes back night after night with a afternoon nap as the only rest to try and out shine you. If I was the moon I would kiss the ground you walk on with my luminous light so that you may perhaps come out at night so that I may perhaps have a moment to stare at your beauty the only problem is that I am shy and perhaps you would make me blush more some nights than other nights till eventually I have a full blush for the world to see how bright you make me feel. Turmoil That We Struggle With

Ones desires are like fires they can surely ignite
How can one resist the grace in such divine beauty?
Passionate or lustful tasting of either juice be fruity
Taking one if not to both lead to great heights

Pheromones cause the heart beating without end
Fore what is this to be?
Is this love we all see?
Blood pulsating indulges, gyrates a message to send

The constant images and feelings can become obsession
Daily repercussions of this act can be maddening
Deciding to live without this to can be saddening
Closet thing we have to heaven each and every session

In My Head

So in my head I've made a land,
Where far as you can see,
Is beauty, bliss, and truest wonder,
Overcomes our dreams.

And in this land I swear to you,
Its light is such a splendor,
A place for only you and me,
For both our hearts so tendor.

The aura mists around our souls,
are frosty yet it's warm,
And I know that when we're together,
we'll conquer all storms.

The water ripples, branches tickle,
The sky is dim yet brigt,
And though we make so much desicions,
I know we'll do what's right.

I promise to you Jacob,
I'll always be your girl,
I also promise to you dear,
We'll be safe in our world.

In Time She Wakes

In time she wakes; I, the the sun, that kisses her face.
No lies or disguise, just the radiant reflection of African skies on the rise in her eyes.
Beauty unmistakable, incredible, unforgettable;
My eyes drink the scene until I'm full.
Her hair, her face, that skin, where to begin?
So smooth the soft surfaces surrounded and swirled in swirling sheets that keeps my amber bright morning light tight in her sight.
She can't quite fight the bite to ignite with all her might.
Yet before the day slips away she'll sway and play in Plettenberg bay.
And from her lips drips the sips from oceans where now sleep the ships and slips of men that crashed and smashed from sirens singing and calling out their longing and wanting so haunting - the sound spilling from that same coy style of a Mona Lisa smile.
She wants to linger on but horizons blue, orange, yellow and red hint of bed instead it must be said.
Soon to the night she'll wed but before that rest she shares her shape in shadows on the shore.
A dance does she once again as I gaze with the last blaze of my rays across the waves,
until again, through the morning haze, I'll wake her just to see her eyes kiss the skies that light up from the light in my eyes.
For she is my earth, my world, my purpose, I am her sun.
This breathing circle, this vision, no dark nightly dream would it seem could ever forever our helix make undone.

MYSTIC PARABLE

Stories dared not whispered, legend of great thinker.
Artificially created Atlantis, maze search for law-giver.

Hushed lips speak no evil, silly little monkey cliche.
Privy ancient knowledge, not clear as light and day.

So-called peace-loving demigods, closely followed in trace.
Sexually crazed fools, copying angels fallen from grace.

Pillars of Hercules within island, dynasty king frenzy awoke.
Powerful and remarkable, ready to enslave at single stroke.

Originally thought to be noble, conspicuous reveal greed.
In route to world domination, struck down by Specialbreed.

Later time earthquakes and floods, extraordinary violence.
Single dreadful day and night, massive lost of innocence.

Intervening super mighty one, so-called wrathful Zeus.
Manipulation of elements, water and lightning bolts let loose.

Grand golden wall palace, swept aside sea and sunk below.
Ironical measured payment, for employment of ruthless blow.

Swiming through labyrinth of wisdom, vie of the celest'.
Chancing risk of schism, mighty sequential vignette.

Perplexed pattern in hide, bloody seal of truth.
Illuminati repelled, for a time real minoot.

Message of twisted tongue, langual contrivance.
Masters' visions swoon, in journey through euphoric trance.

Loud whisper switch, silence left in wake.
Souls of denizens burned, in fiery scourching shake.

Prominent eclectic short order, alien wishbone act.
Convert of non-belief, fierce zealots' minds impact.

Lucid broken water reflection, visible-eye agleam.
Blind finding quarry, standing like obelisk beam.

Instinctive overriding, a slip into lucidity.
Telepathic mind connection, recede to infinity.

Exponential theory, base of schematics.
Common like maybe, superpower military tactics.

Voice of bleeding knowledge, fade to obscurity.
Mystic in strange land, fault found in masters of intricacy.

Undecipherable rhetoric, great monster on chase.
Featureless darkness, a threat to human race!

Cycles and patterns

Rain drops look like heartbeats
Broken in two, melting away candle
Wax into the blue
My teeth chatter because of the cold
The ancient age of old
Has made me stand upon two feet
In one accord, singing to this beat,
One last breath shall be the very first
Kiss that put in his this hearse,
When she felt sweet sorrows stale
And made the prison of my heart bail.
I thought about these gifts and promises
That she made on a piece of paper with no list
And it died earlier on this way and that
The skinny takes away the bone and its fat
It was a deception of faces in the rain
A smile through deep pain
Inside was intercession
To beat this tiger’s aggression
It made me learn something new everyday
To learn this lesson,
That fact that she wouldn’t stay,
I thought about what came next,
Then what happened was what
Came from beneath the ocean waves that had me sore vexed
Running over in my cup, was the heart, out of all the blood.
It started raining from above the ceiling
Cracks of my heart peeling,
Putting away furniture and dress’s
Speaking to a room of noise and mess’s
Voices disguised my male and female
Dish’s, draining away life
That would make harmony come into one flesh.

The Maid of the Mists

Some love only azure blue and bright gold
But there’s beauty in the softening mists
All other colours they sweetly enfold
We walked hushed while our skin they gently kissed

The world around you ne’er was plain
Some love only azure blue and bright gold
Every colour is in your face and train
Your loving heart I longed to hold

Opalescent was the sky when in morn cold
You rose as silent as the new dawn's light
Some love only azure blue and bright gold
You tore me from my mists to the world bright

You were my dream: I followed you
Until I saw your lover bold
Her riches broke me far from my mists true
Some love only azure blue and bright gold

Mora Piya Ghar Aaya - My Beloved Has Returned Home

Mora Piya Ghar Aaya (My Beloved Has Returned Home)

Autumn:

the leaves fell, as you left, a bleak chill wafting across the barren space within my being,
you left, taking your smile and mine,
my smile rests with you still, leaving a void impossible to fill.

Winter:

pangs of longing consumed me, my only company in the frigid nights,
my tears remain frozen, within,
unable to fall from my broken eyes, as I searched the depths of the cold, harsh skies.

Spring:

birds returned home, though you did not, and I felt soothing rebirth all around,
memories of you began blazing, their embers stoked,
and at last the tears rolled, like ink on this blank notebook, my whole being pined for you, my very self in anguish silently shook.

Summer:

alive I felt again, the promise of the coming cooling rain, easing the heat of desire,
yet the furnace slowly raged inside, your absence tearing into me, shattering my nights, my longing for you soaring unfettered across the skies,
dancing on clouds, blissfully free,

Monsoons:

heaven itself opened, the deluge an unending dream,
rain falling all around, mingling with my flowing tears,
and then I saw you, you returned, and I embraced you, never wishing to let you go,
and though I may wear the mask of the clown,
if you were to leave again,
my very soul, would quietly slip away, and in the monsoon rains, I would gratefully drown.

But the sunrise was coming soon.

Springs beauty

Serenity dislodged by frivolous butterflies,
Gathering and congregating here and there.
Ruffling composure, a whirling breeze, I shivered.
I, a rugosa rose; he a bramble walker
And bee keeper, I had hips and potpourri,
Thorns and prickles. Not entirely attractive to most.
As he walked he collected pollen, curiosity was my downfall.
Microspores attached and for eons, waited,
Leisurely seeped into the earth around my feet.
Slowly sprouting, hidden within the brier of me.
Waiting for a sapphire spring and a lapis night,
To once again be charmed by a bold Saturn as he shines

Port of Call

Port of Call

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

with the breath of the ocean a caressing balm,
soothing pained memories away,
to the swaying of a solitary palm.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

feeling the brushing away of all past turmoil,
on a quest for solace, ever so hard to find,
yet comforted by the crashing of the waves,
as the tide cleanses all pain,
and leaves despair far, far behind.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

drenched in a sea-breeze of mist,
that hushes the ache of bygone moons,
tasting the salty tang on my lips,
as the burnished sun,
over the distant horizon,
swoons,

and dips.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

searching, ever searching,
for a slice of solitude,
as memory bids a final adieu,
reaching under the sea so vast,
and seeking comfort in the depths,
while embracing,
the tomorrows to come,
wishing that they be true.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

seeing my truths drown,
as they slip beneath the turquoise waters,

feeling my heart ablaze,
with a passion that rarely falters.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

yet knowing that I am home at long last,
wishing the waves would wash away,
the defences that once stood,
like an impregnable wall.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

I have found, at long last,

my final port of call.

Someone Else's Harmonica

We can’t catch the breezes inside,
so we take to the porches, verandas, fire escapes.
Watch an asbestos moon rise
over steaming rooftops,
and count flags from far away cities.

Below, beetles swallow our Elm trees whole,
as I listen to the neighbors bickering
and someone else’s harmonica.

A Rose Arose

Standing in a valley
Of which no one knows,
A rose arose
Between my toes.

Watching in awe
For magic is what I saw,
The rose still grows
Even as wind blows.

Smiling happily,
The rose so lovely.
A rose arose,
Feelings arouse.

Seeing her in my mind,
Just as the rose, one of a kind.
The rose still flowers,
Even when against nature.

Standing in a valley
Of which no one knows,
A rose arose as thoughts of love
Flown to the sky above.

A KISS OF SUNSHINE

People and Nature need sunshine,
it's a free gift God intended for all;
flowers turn to the sun to grow,
while humans seek it to feel fine.

Spring is meant for strolls to admire eloquent beauty,
Summer is the best season for many a beach-goer,
Fall is for the admirers of auburn trees delightful to the eye,
but Winter is for skiers who fear no sun rays on face and hair.

Never seen a woman or girl standing up blowing a kiss in radiant air?
Is it for her sweetheart, or for someone dearly missed as her mother?
She gets carried away thinking that clouds will deliver it to him or her...
either way, it's a gesture of thoughtfulness that shows profound care.

A guy doesn't think as a gal, he differs in thought and action...
he likes to give real kisses, not dream about them so vainly,
and being impatient and unromantic, he misses out on fantasy;
he rarely looks for any sunshine, only for lips that hold attraction.

Ms Red Rose

From germination, a seed spreads into a flower;
A beauty queen blooms to bedazzle the senses ;
Her oval shaped hip bares sweet smelling fruits;
Her Long slender stems lend a tall structure;
Nominated as the flower of the hearts,
The apple of the eyes,
A prominent star awaiting to be plucked;
But wait a minute, a voluptuous rose bares sharp thorns?;
Evidently, a defensive wall capable of drawing blood;
Has a flower's beaming optimism evolved to became fallacious?
Or was she more than often delivered to broken promises;
The ills to thy red shaped heart she so long mourned;
The injustice done to thy unconditional love thou shalt know;
Heaven hath no rage, like love turn'd to hatred;
Nor Hell hath no sharp thorns, like a flower scorned;
Do handle her wisely so not to gash red;
Scars suggests that thy have bled;
A slave enternally to her sweet aroma;
Forever more in a love lust coma;
This is a curious and mystical case of a gorgeous red rose

The Ornament

For you I've awaited a lifetime
in whose heart is clarity
every virtue in you is realized
individual traits of a rarity

Your foresight understands ages
like gems your facets reflect
every spectrum covered rainbow
in the things you did not neglect

You have focused upon the real life
sought the finest treasures to find
found the path to eternal glory
your approval by God kept in mind

Every essence of your person I savor
like sweet smelling smoke of incense
you have kept your garments of whiteness
and washed your hands in innocence

In every course followed your Master
did seek every lesson he taught
applied them with skill and precision
and reigned in your every thought

You listened to every Word spoken
and dug into the mysteries ground
wrote them upon the flesh of heart
your possessions as they were bound

You have removed all that's discordant
polished every jewel to a shine
placed them in a filigreed setting
the traits that will last for all time

How carefully you took in instruction
each quality conformed to what's right
did arrange a garment worth wearing
each quality lustrous in light

Your baring of it's graces are lovely
within your heart there lay no fraud
I've exalted you with rejoicing
You have put on the Love of our God

AH, LONELY WOMAN

Ah, lonely woman watching
the rising of the full moon,
which gives off intense brightness...
you seem a phantom!

Trees are stately sentinels
who protect you from danger,
but they too need to be protected
from the foul weather!

Ah, lonely woman why wait?
All you'll find is tiny stars
that surround the oval moon...
oh, what hope is there?

Snow has already fallen,
the cold wind will freeze your tears!
Oh, only spring can melt them
when sunshine returns!

Saturday Rain in Johannesburg

Saturday Rain in Johannesburg…

…With sighs of torrential passion,
the heavens shower teardrops,

weeping with me,
as memories of you come cascading back,

skin on skin, ablaze,
moist kisses, fiery,
gentle whispers of undying love, murmured,

in another life, another time,

far removed from my present, a desolate state of despair,
wallowing in the grime.

…

The rain keeps falling,
each teardrop stinging my face,

tasting the salt on my lips,

I wonder, do you still remember the caresses of my fingertips,

between breathy confessions, and vows of eternal love,

before you left me, stranded on an island of solitude,

wounded as a wingless dove,

bereft of life,
stripped of all traces of fortitude

BE GLAD TO HAVE THEM ALL

They were given to me,
to use abundantly and wisely...
when I smell the spring roses
redder than blood, or whiter than snow:
everyone should see how I these eyes glow
while their fragrance becomes my indulgence.

These are the gifts for all to enjoy,
how can one not appreciate them as I do?
And whenever they inspire, I indite their beauty
so inexpressible and unable to subdue
with lovely glances that induce a feeling of awe and delight...
have you ever felt this by walking past gardens before twilight?

Touch them as curiosity makes you ponder and surrender,
see unhappy larks fly skyward to seek a new adventure,
follow them and wish you had their swift wings...
to find those places only imagined in night dreams;
much more you can have by using every sense,
waste none of them...value them and show reverence.

Even when they are cut from their thorny stems,
and will be offered to sweethearts and friends who show loyalty...
how beautiful they will be in those caring hands!
Pick some of them: smell their aroma...isn't it as strong as it can be?
I've walked with you down a path from Spring to Fall,
showing you how to revive your senses and be glad to have them all.

The Dance

They drown in each other,
Inhaling immensely as they take the plunge,
Plummeting down as the bubbles rise,
Getting lost in the elegance.
Ascending to the sky,
Twirling in a dance of satisfaction,
Breathing heavy as they break the surface,
Drawing in life,
Before cascading under the rays of the sun.
Like a graceful waltz
They breach only for a moment,
To replenish their lives,
As they become one.

Moon Rose

Moon-kissed rose amber light,
Glowing in the ebony night
Dew drops grace petals tender,
Sweet scented night splendor.

Softly she sways a mournful plight,
So lonely in the ebony night.
Her thorns fall a lonely sound,
Echoing in the silence found.

She pines for her lover the moon,
His distance hard to attune.
Her petals limp in his glowing light,
So deprived photosynthesis in darkened night.

His chilling glow too pale,
That she’s so dispossessed frail.
Shuttering in the moonlight,
She droops near death in her plight.

The sun with his radiance arise,
Beaming rays to awaken her eyes
Shining down to heat her heart,
Warming the frozen part.

Radiant with a burning desire,
She basks in the wondrous fire.
Now her joy is sunshine.
Their hearts intertwine.

Below the Palms

On golden sands hands on hips
Faces close, moist touching lips
Orchestral sounds of natures bliss
Two hearts desire their joining wish

Under palm tree shade, two in lie
Above even higher azure blue skies
Kisses lead to caress in softly touch
Hearts pounding in desire so much

Naked to bare amidst natures sounds
So splendid they arouse on sandy grounds
Whistling leaves in admiring wave
Bodies impressed in touched engrave

Echoes of passion fill this islands air
Waves gently lap, their way to declare
Resonating sighs, romance shared by two
Blissful love can be, and be so true

The Unavoidable Need For Sunlight

?The Unavoidable Need For Sunlight
?
You walk through life, your head held high,
smile for the world to see.
But you glance behind, since you rely
UpOn your shadow; upon me.
I yearn for an obstruction
To overcome the rays.
perhaps, then you'll face deduction
Amidst winter's haunting grays.
The remaining leaves are frosted;
They clink mournfully in dark.
Like them I am exhausted,
Wishing I could disembark.
What you need to realize is, it's you whom you deceive;
If you'd let me be your sunlight, I would never leave.

Our Park

Sublime winter wind
dripping icicles on the bench-
where we first met-
our first treasured kiss,
subtle and sweet-
just like the lake's frozen serenity
and the blue jay's soft hum
reminding us of our youth-
pure, adventurous,
no worry.
But even the bark now has faded
and our smiles eventually frown,
the haunted branches remind us only of what happened.
Even the blue jay now remains perked upon the crooked branch,
clinging for his life while the others flew south a long time ago.
Winter's kiss was now a curse-
never changing-
fixed time.
And this curse is my every day,
you're presence vanished,
leaving me in the cold,
on this half-frozen bench,
where the tree's roots reach
and the swans once danced-
heaven's clouds burden my torn soul
yet through all the misery,
all the memories we created,
I come here now to visit
I come here to feel you're comfort
they say your duties remain where you felt most at home
and with you it's haunting
our park.

Monsieur Arac H Nid

My petite blushing rose
come turn your face towards me.
Ignore yon flitting and buzzing pests
silly dandies in black and yellow vests.

I long to spring upon your long green stem
dance amongst your soft and silky leaves
I'd spin a sparkling web so sweet and fine
then weave two cups of dew from which we'd dine.

They will simply tease and rob you of your gold
and adorn themselves of your fine riches.
Then without so much as a thanks or care
they'd desert you for other treasure scenting the air.

They cannot need you or love you as my heart does
for they already have another queen to return to.
They are brazen, drunken fools that can't hold your wine
or understand this ache so pure as ever will be mine.

So cast but one glance toward this winsome beau
and I can draw my last breath with joy.
I'll spin us a heart of gossomer thread and dew
for Monsieur Arac. H. Nid and his lady rose too!

The Sea Blue Eyes I

Once in a while I meet a person whose eyes tell their story
The story is like the sky reflection on the seas of glory
The eyes are all the wonder of the world
It sees the future, past, and present
The eyes give us knowledge of the world and reflection
The reflection of sadness and weakness of each creature
The wonder of each individual being has a present
To the world who has lots of false images
To arise the moment of that one glance
To follow the heart in romance
Just the reflection that gather in your eyes of blue
What a man and a woman should view
Life is such a pain without stopping to see each eyes
Its like roses you have to enjoy each passion in side
When that moment collides with mind and heart
Nothing in your soul can keep your love apart
Join in the fun look in every eyes of a person beside
With passion and romance I bet you, you would cry
The luster of all the things to come
A bounty of life long needs to be given by just the wonders of the eyes
The blue seas reflects the different depths of our feelings
And it should become revealing
Come to your senses with ravaging hormones of lust
The sea can take you and even the reflection in the eyes of the person
The beauty is not held by one it is held by everyone
Such looks with fear for no relief
Is almost a dreadful part in our human nature
Beware of what can happen when emotions are held
Held to the core of an individual
No such thing is kindness when you find yourself in the Sea Blue Eyes
Calling in your soul by just looking
With ignorance you play around with such futile emotion
Gush away the fear and do not go insane with life so dear
The grasp of the titans comes to reveal
The evil within your heart is so obscenely noticed
You want the sea and you want those eyes to look at you with wishes
The rage in the heart are waves that cannot stop
It pushes and pushes with no regret
The heart falters and there is only one thing in your mind
The idea of one soul to be with is the ocean
The rifts that is trying to break to end the wants of desire
Cannot be trusted in a human lier
The beauty of man is destruction
The beauty of women are commands
The eyes of each does not matter in the sea
Because all emotion and desire is given to those who are true
Command of a person is just one thing
The desire to destroy is another
The Sea Blue Eyes will see no bother cause it bares it all
Even the utmost desire
To be continue.

Rendezvous

Lovers rendezvous at ocean’s break,

Feet upon the sandy brown mat

 Whereupon decorates the sill

 of water’s  foamy welcome;

Towels stretched out on earth’s warm bed,

Hands held tight, intertwined, while days of love

Multiplied by years of knowing hearts,

 and wind gently kisses damp bodies;

wet lips leave trails the length of

 written names in the sand,

 Love devouring souls

 with morning’s new light;

 Buried treasures reside

 for the lovers find, while

 Emerged bodies play

 in ocean’s temperate water;

Sand pushed between two sets of ten toes,

 Surf breaking upon their love,

Surging within their innermost depths of lust,

 Mounting  heartbeats occur on ocean’s ride;

Later, begin again, on the sand,

 where their rendezvous began.

I Fell In Love

I fell in love; my heart goes thump, thump.
You, dear one, a beautiful tree stump.
Creases that shine so clear.
Your presence, calls me near.
Say you love me, while I have this bump.

My heart craves in desire, for your rings.
Fire burns inside, as the minstrel sings.
Your caress sometimes rough,
I am your man; I am tough.
Say you will be mine, please, my lust springs.

My darling, thus true, you are my stump.
Adore resting on you, on my rump.
I ache for answer, soon.
Before the budding moon,
My sweet love, do not make me a chump.

The Seasons Delight

Summer days bring love.
Bound together, two as one.
Fragrant dreams flowers.

Oh, shimmering sun.
Shining. Burning. Bringing fun.
Hot sands greet bare feet.
Ocean waters ebb and flow.
Salty air tickles taste buds.

Cooling breezes pierce the night.
Arm and arm two souls take flight.
Like poetry, lives are merged.
The seasons delight.

Dilated Night

when the eternal night blessed our kiss
within deep trenches of beauty we held
you left the sorrowful night with a hiss,
shall forever be a treasure withheld
a sheer memory of human nature
wondrous night that is forever praised
but thoughts like these tend to become glaciers
as that day becomes a living record
of that night your lips touched upon mine
but with memories, some float till the end
under the swinging lamp of frozen time
with me, you remain forever adored
with your ruby fire lips and gold hair
in the twilight night we once shared

The Sierra Nevada

Would one want to attempt to claim
The land atop these mountains?
Or just enjoy the view from afar
And play in the lakes and fountains?

Although some would agree
That is not worth the time and patience
But who are they to decide one’s fate?
They are not your masters or agents

Climb that treacherous mountain chain
And never look back down the cliffs
For all that will become of that
Are the repeating ‘Buts’ and ‘Ifs’

If you begin to lose your hope
Do not let go of the dream
Use your heart to guide your strength
The climb is not as unfeasible as it seems

Once you reach that highest peak
Look back at the world and smile
For the mountain you have claimed as yours
Could be wanting you to stay forever in a while

Works

Like wine which efferveses within the glass
is your own love to me
it fills my heart and bubbles up
rising when you I see

Its movements effect whats hidden within
to be seen in what I do
know this my love its welling up
its focus is on you

When you are given a gift so grand
what with it would be
upon its presence within your life
its will effecting thee

It's hard to tell if it's mine or yours
or what its work does move
I only know not to let it go
until its work does prove

Can't be so minor if it stirs my thoughts
but let its movements be
its works are placed within my heart
to love you eternally

Matthew 22:37-39 NIV
“Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God
with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your mind.’ This is the first and
greatest commandment. And the second is
like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

GREEN GABLES

Pastures of greens meadow in this place,
Beau of white lilies, red and yellow rose covered it's grace,
Mocha colored trees stand handsomely on it's base,
While the pink hummingbird singing along it's nest.

Can you smell the sweetness in the air?
Do you feel the freedom even when it is bare?
Will you dance on Monday's morn till no end?
When another hay comes,do you care to spend?

Oh the sounds of the River Dale,
Melodically trumps in one's dream,
Peaceful of serenity conquers every tale,
Together they sing a beautiful hymn.

Oh the anointed love from Green Gables,
Mesmerized in the heart of loving couples,
The magical song that binds two together,
Will forever make them cherish one another.

The Swaying of the Grass

1.

A path leads,

to where wild grass grows,

sashaying in the summer breeze.

2.

Along the path,
lightness settles within,

feeling the grass,
swooning,
tickling ankles,

swaying to the lilting bird-song,

in a dance of intimate abandon,

brushing the remnants of pain away.

3.

Melodies float across fields of green,

delicately caressing my heart,

teasing emptiness to flee,

comforting the mind,

to silently be.

4.

Walking on,
savouring the peace,

a momentary respite,
from the burdens of the now,

all is quiet,

a stillness cradling fractured emotions,

the grass in the fields sway,

dusk descends,

shadows lengthen,

nudging dimming light to take leave,

of the day

The genie is out of the bottle Has stolen out into the night Pandora’s box is become unlocked Things will ne’er again seem right It came about, with no hue or shout No alarum of fear or fright Life took a twist, one could not resist Impulsively gave in without a fight Succumbed to pleasure, in new-found treasure Of her eyes, her sighs…sweet delight Soft feel still lingers, to touch of my fingers Press of her body to mine…e’er so slight My being, my world, tumbled and twirled My heart…my very soul, imbued with her light The genie is free, Pandora can flee What I was once…now no longer can I be

"Stormy Evening"

Thunder roars and lightning blazes across the sky
And it illuminates the eye of a man as he holds his wife’s hand
The rain plummets to earth and pummels a rooftop
Of a family home as the children laugh and play
The sky darkens a deep black and gray
While a couple lights candles for a romantic evening
And as the wild winds whirl faster
The end of the storm is near
As it goes more joy will come
As each walks outside to a starlight sky
And a peaceful moon rising high

He Who is Not Loved

Has a cold sad heart,
Winding down like a clock with its parts,
The days and years are shorter,
They would be longer if he is a courter,
Those hearts are lost in winterstorms,
Snowflakes falling into nothingness that mourn,
With trees that follow with their permanent shades,
Killing hearts slowly with branches that are blades,
Those weary souls that cry at night,
Trapped in hell by hearts that never see light,
And when that love door is opened wide,
Hearts will mingle and walk with stride,
They pet and pet love set free,
Comforting under bright hot suns colossally,
That love that stare’s in the face,
Will make men whole on this earthly place,
Pollen blowing through the air,
Unleashed by pistols fired everywhere without despair,
To depart this world with seeds left behind,
A man’s lot is love immortal and she is kind.

Dream Land

Low and unremitting.
A chanted poem lasting forever.
Those syllables floating in the air,
and sifting through my memories.
Words spiraling,
transporting me to another place,
a forest covered in mist,
with that voice hovering around me.

A charcoal wolf approaches from the right,
nudging me along,
and I’m compelled to follow.
We seem to fly through the trees as we run side by side.
The chant picks up,
faster and faster,
our feet and paws skimming the ground below.

The tempo changes,
we stop suddenly,
and suspended before us is a mirror.
My charcoal guide stands beside the glass,
staring intently as I sway back and forth.
The mirror seizes my attention and draws me forward.
The voice around us slows,
becoming soft and encouraging as I raise my fingers to the gleaming surface.

The wolf shifts towards me,
whining its approval,
still staring.
As the murmuring voice becomes hushed,
and fades away,
my true love is revealed,
and steps out of the glass,
into my waiting arms.

Passion is her only fashion,

Of Acceptance

Oceans mingle,
New colors born in their embrace.

I am me
And forever, understood in this moment.
I can safely melt into your waves
For eternity in this moment.

I can battle your eyes,
Gently with a smile
And rest calmly,
When you carry me to the shore.

I can build castles,
But you do not wash them away.
We build life in the sand
And the magic descends to rest in our abyss.

Sleep sweetness,
Rest in the beautiful ocean.
Sink peacefully in me

The foliage resembles you more than me,
As I hold you under this sycamore tree,

Your vibrant smile dims out the countless shades,
Your ocean filled eyes makes all else fade,

Just like the fire place inside that is burning,
My heart is a flame that is constantly yearning,

If God knows every sparrow that falls from the sky,
Then he must know that this is the perfect day for you and I,

As the leaves quietly dance around your porcelain face,
I long to have more than just a seasonal taste,

Suddenly, as the breeze picks up in pace,
On one knee I proclaim my love in this place.

A Love For Each Other

Alone in the world is my biggest fear
Being alone makes me shed a tear
She came out of nowhere and helped me see
That her and I being together is meant to be
I have fallen for this girl mind, heart, and soul
Her and I together makes me feel whole
I love her and I know she loves me in return
Our passion makes the flame of love burn
I hold her in my arms and refuse to let go
We both smile because we didn't know
A love that burns deep without it ever dying
We both are happy together and our passion continues flying.

Sing to me My Love

The sun has risen and we still in the chamber den,
listening to the bluebirds sing love songs
and the rushing of the stream outside our window.
Life has awaken and we still hibernating and still in love;
giving each other kisses and cuddling close together,
to where our hearts kept warm forever.
Sing to me my love and I shall close my eyes,
and hear passionate lyrics roll off the base of your tongue
and speak your lovely, red lips the words of passion and love.

Sing to me my love
a song to make the bluebirds shed a tear,
to make the prancing deer come up to our front step,
to make the wolves howl at the silvery-laced moon,
to make the mountains grow higher to touch heaven's gates,
to make the rushing water in the streams lead to the seas.
Sing to me my love, oh sing to me.

Love rushes and the birds fly together,
high up above in heaven's blue skies,
and the rushing waters provide charity to the thirsty deer.
Sing to make the flowers grow in our garden,
and sing to make my heart skip a beat,
and I shall hold you in my arms,
sitting by a rich flame, which warms us up,
and I shall sing in return.

Love, my dear, love is all we need together,
we are beauty in nature,
as we sing our songs together,
harmony is what turns the world round and round.
Sing to me my love
and we shall love more than any lover loved another.
Love me, my dear, love me,
and listen to the angels in heaven's grace and glory
sing a chorus of sweet music to our ears,
and we shall sleep together and forever,
and the sun shall rise again,
the birds shall sing,
and we shall sing along with them
in love forever, my dear.

I can look in your eyes
and not be denied
the love I feel inside
is more precious than
the first blooming flower
the first clap of thunder
the first ray of sun

it feels good to know

Other Side of the Riverbed

On the silent riverbed, she stood
Where the softer wind had blown
Against the ground, she glistered star's light
And eclipsed nature's splendor grown

Yet beauty tempted not my interest
Though her allure gleams upon thrones
But a sorrowful sound out her breath
Revealed a sorrow unknown

With the edge of elegy, she sung
A celestial kiss of tone
Heard angelic gentle melodies
And had my bleeding heart sewn

A mortal, mortally mesmerized
My reality away thrown
In fanciful fret, fraud my own heart
To lust for a heart of stone

Was she a more perfect life than He
So to have been disowned?
Belle of heaven, curse my tenderness
But let me join in atone

In that frigid callousness of night
Her divine shine has shown
That the saddest thing for an angel
Is for her to shine alone

A Frozen Flower Thaws

Delicate flower, you have been growing alone for too long.
The soil round your feet was frozen by winter,
Your petals were brittle, their colour near gone.

But just like the ocean that carves through rock or softens a stone,
The hardness, a coldness, is starting to fade,
Because his warmth can change you, and make you his own.

A Blissful Lifetime

Rowdiness drives though your eyes
It builds a freeway, leading to consistent roads
I can’t explain your stunning beauty, making my passion jam-packed
I can’t explain this heartfelt feeling inside—it’s so inconceivable
Your nature is like a vermillion, impeccable rose; your scent is gratifying
I can’t explain this addiction I have planted inside—I want to overdose
On your genuine desires (that is most appealing)
That last a lifetime, pouring forth glee
Upon my contemptuous sorrows and kisses

Your tone of voice burns like a wildfire…penetrating me like crazy
It tears down the habitation that once existed and now gone
I can’t explain this fishy sensation plunging inside—it’s so absurd
Your nature reflects a treacherous passion like a whirling sea
I can’t explain this admiration I have drilling inside—caught in the waves of motion
Pounding lightly and ardently
It only lasts a few milliseconds… pouring forth notions
Upon my overwhelmed mind with gouges and blisses

These excruciating scars left a mark
That lasts a century, accumulating my glory

Running over my heart …tearing me apart…
Pounding me with affection…showing me the direction
Where I could drive through the rowdiness of your eyes

I Am the Rain

I am the rain…
Squeezed out of dark clouds of experience
Thundering, booming, pounding down
Falling, pouring, crashing down

You love me
You hate me
You hide from me
You dance in me
You want me to stay
You want to drive me away

I am the rain…
I drench you
I soak you
I make you scream
I tease you
I please you
I make you dream

Ask me!!!
I can…..
Bathe your body
Saturate your soul
Flood your heart
Seep into your mind
I have wet healing
In my droplets of hope, life, and love

I am the gentle rain
I am the angry rain
I am the soothing rain
I am the seething rain
I am the joyful rain
I am the mournful rain

I am the rain
I am the rain
But you……
You are the sun!

Chills

It’s pretty cold.
It’s freezing.

Raining drops freeze before they slam the ground,
but when they meet, there are showers of glitter.

Breaths are pale-white when they touch the chilled air,
but they are but light in this dark world of rest.

Fingers freeze when they leave their gloves and sanctuaries,
but they tingle with renewed warmth when they meet yours.

Lips turn brittle when choked by that deathly air,
but are brought to life again when they touch yours.

It’s pretty cold.
It’s freezing.

Your touch gives me chills,
and I am the warmest man in the world.

Sky Blanket

The eye in the sky is closed

   from some great sleepy lid;

Too weary with lovesick worry,

and laced wisps seep into the grey

   tomorrow ----

where blue shall find my eyes,

for today is dull with moody-gloom

But inside a sun shines,

   despite the great sleep without,

   as she delicately smiles,

   through the terrace window ----

toying my return with her toes,

" Put down your pen, " she says,

" It's cold outside, "

" and I want you warm under the blankets.... "

A Day in Spring

I shall compare you to a day in spring
to complement the summer Shakespeare wrote.
Your voice is fairer than the birds that sing
of love, in every way on every note.

The sweetened fabric 'round a flower's face
is far less lovely than your silken hair:
the former lacks in sheen and goes to waste
when comes the callous winter's annual air.

The season's song, its scent, its look and feel
are still quite beautiful, make no mistake,
but this is true because your own appeal
is made the greater by these very traits.

The spring may flaunt a lovely sky and floor,
but springtime makes you gorgeous all the more.

Moonlit Dance

Go away with me in the night
Dance with me in the moonlight
All of our troubles left on land
Discarded amongst the grains of sand
Smooth sailing, just you and me
Enjoying each other’s company
Relishing our quiet time together
I want this moment to last forever
Go away with me in the night
Dance with me in the moonlight
The only sound I hear is our one heartbeat
Synchronized with the water lapping near our feet
A calm has taken over my soul
As the peace in the night takes control
The love I have for you has consumed my all
With you by my side, I always stand tall
Go away with me in the night
Dance with me in the moonlight
This beautiful night is ours alone
As we drift along these waters unknown
The tranquility brings us closer as lovers
As our passion we begin to slowly rediscover
I’m yours forever, don’t ever let me go
Hold me tight as we ride the water’s flow
Go away with me in the night
Dance with me in the moonlight.

Nature's Naivety

What would you say if I told you,
that I need you?
That every memory of you,
casts a shadow on this moment.
What would you do,
If I reached into the sun
and pulled down the light.
Showed you that
it had no comparison
to what I see in your eyes.
Could you believe it?
I’m in the dark without
your essence.
I find promise in
the prospect of
your comfort.
I just hope it’s
Not another dream
Shedding its skin,
Waiting for its moment
To cast out its beauty
And become another
Failure.
I’m not sure if I
could take it.
Knowing that the
sun could fall
at any moment,
makes a flower
want to grow
elsewhere.
Is this the way of
the world today?
Fickle beauty grows
under incandescent
light fixtures that whisper
lies into the ears of
nature’s naivety.
What will become
of us if we can never
make it real?
We’re standing underneath
the stare of false hope,
and expecting it to not
wrinkle our skin.

moment that lasts forever

She is a blank canvas I am the artist Love is the perfect portrait that we make. I search for a moment that lasts forever. Something to express what i feel for her. My unchained emotion, that goes on forever unchained, unlimtied and untamed. You cant cage this animal nor tame this lion in me called love, nor arrest it's cousin, passion or its uncle, emotions. I adorn her earth with kisses ravish the garden called her trinity, each sound turns the grass greener. earth shattering pulsations on this bed love founded on a bed of fresh roses She is a blank canvas I am the artist Love is the perfect portrait that we make. How Day Conquered Night

Mysterious days, majestic nights
The words used to describe them do not seem quite right
For how can it be that night is ‘majestic’?
It is always seen as a thought, pessimistic!

Now the days, so to speak, are seen as the good
A title claimed so that the night never could
Therefore why is it seen as mysterious?
The amount of activity can make one delirious

For one does not notice a ghoul in the day
Although darkness may linger and wait for its prey
And then in the night, what lovely evening it ‘twas!
Not romance at dawn, but romance at dusk

For the dangers arise as the world is at work
Tempers are not hidden behind that smile nor smirk
But the nighttime comes with a goal to rest
Those weary backs and that heavy chest

Due to the fact, it takes a big heart
To go up from the start
Let words be words and actions be actions
Do not give in to others’ self satisfaction

Demons call you names and try their art of depression
Their devious ways and evil obsession
Cause more pain to some and the cost of close friends
Who then will question if they will stay close through the end

Mysterious days cause majestic nights to truly be seen
As something bad, evil, or dirty, not clean
But it fact, it is the day that causes the night
To be filled with fear and surrounded by fright!

Dove eyes

Her soft words
Fluttered around me
Like a dove
Her eyes wooed my heart
My mind as she took me
Into the moonlight
Where a thousand harps
Synchronized on the breeze
Over my mind
My longings
Stringing me into her dreams
A place where my feet
Could never touch the ground

I danced on mars
And Saturn’s rings
Spinning out of control
Till I realized
It was but a dream
Her lips were never mine
But an elusive promise
Born of the wind
The wind will take her
Tumbling
Where it will

I have to let her go
My sweet pain
Lest there is nothing
Left of me
In this vast desert plain
Where stars pierce the night
And day brings only sorrow
Where rivers rarely flow
Where jackals call
To the moon
For their mate
And I am left alone
On the dark side
Of the moon

Beautiful

Beautiful, you're beautiful, as the sun.
Wonderful, you're wounderful, as they come.
And I can't help but feel attached to the feelings I can't even match with my face pressed up to the glass, wanting you. Beautiful, you're beautiful as the sky.Wonderful, it's wounderful, to know that you're just like I and I'm sure you don't but you just can't tell who'll you love and who you won't and I love you, as you love me so let the clouds roll by your face we'll climb the tallest tree above it all to look down on you and me and them and I'm sure you know me well, as I'm sure you don't but just can't tell, who you'll love and who you wont don't let your life wrap up around you. Don't forget to call, Whenever I'll be here just waiting for you I'll be under your stars forever neither here nor there just right beside you.

The Poets Dance

Paint pots and magic at the stroke of a brush, it’s the power of a picture for the lovers in lust. The splashing of water and addition of choice, it’s a musician’s beat, and the poets to rejoice. Hungary caterpillars and the ladybugs dance, it’s nature’s festival and the Devil’s mischance. The warmth of summer’s night amongst a starry sky, it’s the sparkle of lanterns drifting up to Shanghai. The poets and the dreamers smear ink to the page, it’s lyrical fluidity entwining a white witch’s sage. The smells and the colours are a carnival of love, it’s the power of family, drawing joyous tears up above. Live in these moments and build memories to keep, it’s time for our picture before we lose it to sleep. So take my hand as we enter the tent to the light, it’s an entrance to happiness and it’s just to your right.

STILL THINKING OF IRENE WHEN A STAR FALLS

Alone as a thin shadow in the universe,
I am alive without hearing any heartbeat;
this was the same spot we happily lay down
in a huge meadow of daises and whispered sweet words,
no, they weren't for the stealthy wind to keep!
Now, it refuses to bring them back..oh, what a letdown!

Still thinking of Irene when a star falls,
I follow it breathlessly, wishing it had fallen into my lap
and had touched it as I touched her with gentle hands
saying, " You are the most beautiful star in this galaxy,
and I own you until destiny raptures me to another planet...
where tears become smiles and pain becomes joy!"

Sad as a nightingale without a mate,
I struggle to stay awake, trying to catch a glance of her...
why is she too afraid to come out and hear my despair,
I would kiss her fervently and be passionate....
by changing the discordant sky that lacks the happy notes of nightingales,
I would sing an aria and make it come alive to even make the stars dance!

Still thinking of Irene when a star falls,
but not knowing where it'll land, it'll leave hope in fragments,
increasing sorrow and loneliness for a soul in penance;
giving all for self-gratification is absurd silliness
that leaves this generous giver with empty hands...
having failed to recognize how lucky he was!

Sunshine in a Hurricane

Your face...is a flower..delicate and beautiful..
 Your eyes..a waterfall of blue..diamonds..
The clouds..and rain..surround me..
I stand on a mountain..bitter and cold in every way..
Nowhere for me to seek shelter..
 I know my days..will end..
I know my heart..so full of love..will cease to beat..
I have only this ..letter..to send..
I have only this..dream..of being..free..
They say..every boy becomes a man..
They say..every girl must become mature..
 If we grow old...and sacrifice...our youth..for love..will we endure..
No..we will..wither..and fade..grasping..to hold on..as we slowly die..
We will dance..until we fall..we will laugh ..until we cry..
I say..if I am first to go..You say I must remain..
We both will die..of broken hearts..
Like sunshine..in a hurricane.

Merely, till an essence With just a look To liberate impressions Let loose with sparks Of passion’s love Where seedlings shall begin to grow A renaissance of emotions From deep within Allowing, flowering into blossoms Amid a mere forgotten Hollowed heart Unto undiscovered places Sprouting to near higher heights Nourishing the under root Into undiscovered parts If merely to partake of light Petals along a trellis searching Until anew, blooming life imparts

To Those Who Woo'd

Oh my friend I never saw
in your many cards so written
in all the dances when we were close
to know that you were smitten
as I look into my past
and those who would me woo
with the many letters here
I could not see you

Never once did I respond
to words that showed you care
though because I was afriad
and ne'er my heart to share
I apologize for being blind
to the world did I surrender
and to you for being kind
and kindness did not I render

As often times I think of you
and what life may have brought
Mayhaps if you had spoken true
and not kept in your thoughts
perhaps had you seen mine eyes
and the anguish dwelling there
who always saw the words as lies
my judgement wasn't fair

Now I can see the tenderness
the gently wooing you
and the effort you had strived
to make me see it too
I carry guilt for pains I caused
with scales mine eyes were closed
like water in a fingers grasp
Mine heart in still repose

More than twenty years have passed
I've had no time to think
to consider how you felt
till I could put to ink
the endless refusing of even a few
who deeply showed their care
To you all I apologize
in future amends I swear

It feels just right

Walking, you and I
The wind would whisper our names.
Free as we would ever be.

Oh how I love the word free.
No rules, no expectations, no care in the world.
Just right now.
Just this moment that feels as if it lasts a life time.
This moment you don't want to end.

As long as we keep walking, walking, walking
the world is at our fingertips.
We're invincible.

Song of the Bride

My Lord is he who sits on the throne
I await his return to enter his home
I am unworthy my Lord to recieve your grace
a slave in the world has been my place

Why would the lowly you engage
the house of sin has been my cage
you purchased me and gave me leave
into your freedom I was recieved

You washed me clean and gave me robes
the colors of the fields are now my clothes
the strength of your soul must I seek
for I am abject and very weak

Tears of joy do stream my face
within your mansion I have found a place
a humble servant you have lifted high
Your tender mercies shape my cry

Master you are and will remain
favor of countenance do I gain
Instruct me my Lord in your ways
In your house I will find length of days

I am far from home it is my fear
that I will fail before redemptions here
await I for the chariots carriage
to be recieved and prepared for marriage

My Lord and King tarry not long
for my desire is to sing your song
with exultation and joy within your grace
awaiting am I to look upon your face

Juniper's Daughter Springtime With My Family

JUNIPER’S DAUGHTER - SPRING WITH MY FAMILY
We went on a weekend to the Lake District, my love and I, in our flying disc. We had just been married not three months past. Ourselves together, my pagan witch wife and me, we were a family? Yes. In my eyes we were, extra additions would come later. Of that I (we) was sure.
Climbing up Great Carrs mountain under a blue spring sky, we were under heaven. There was still snow on the tops; we passed the snowline at 2,500 feet. I used my pick hammer to lever myself up the steep incline, at the head of a U shaped valley. There was no glacier here now, only my wife and I. She was nimble and quick, needing only her toned limbs, ex British Army boots and thermal gloves to ascend the mountain. Looking back, she smiled down at me. She always beat me. I dug my hammer into the frozen earth and picked up some snow. My snowball hit her shapely behind; a shriek of surprise came forth. There was a wet patch on her jeans.
“Just wait till I get you on top, you’re for it!” she jested, nodding her head. With that, she turned and continued climbing the sheer fifty degree slope.
“I know,” I chuckled, picking up my rock hammer and going on. “Is that a promise?”
After half an hour more she reached the top of the mountain and stood on the rock edge. A vertical drop of a thousand feet was between her and the ground. Strenuously I finally got up to her, my muscles ached – no chance of a massage with her vivid expression. I stood there breathing heavily by her side. It was clear who the winner was – my dear wife. With a wicked smile she took my hand and in a Judo move, dropped me onto the snowy ground. A meter separated us from oblivion. She straddled my chest and proclaimed her win with a kiss.
   “I win my dear husband.”
“I know you always do. You’re on top.”
   “Yes, I know.”
   “Take me then, winners reward.”
“I like being on top. I’m a woman.”
“I know,” I said, looking up at her pretty face, in shadow under a high spring sun. Below me, I saw the abyss of the valley created by monumental natural forces. What was my dear wife in comparison? She was part of the same world of nature, encompassing her, myself and my family.
“Kiss me my love,” she whispered.
I did so. Then we made love on an icy mountain, just us and this ancient timeless mountain in the greatest scenery on earth. Soon the circle would be complete, my pagan bride Juniper’s Daughter would be with child.

Shower Therapy by Kenny Davis

Shower Therapy by Kenny Davis

What is it about a shower
That seems to have the power
Despite her worst of days
Never fails to pleasure her for hours

What is it about those warm drips
That glides down the smoothness of her hips
That seems to send her nerves for a ride
As they travel way beyond the crease her thighs

What is it about those tingling suds
How they rub and hold her body when she is longing for my touch
How they caress every curve and crevice, just the way she loves
Warming her up until she had enough when the sensations become too much

What is it in that shower that draws her to moan
In this erotic, hypnotic, sensual tone
Sensations so strong to shiver her bones
As the warm water glides gently along her erogenous zones

What is it about the feel of every warm, watery drop
Talking to the shower like her man saying, “Please! Don’t stop!”
As the elevating verge of her satisfaction begins to pop
Her temptations and sensations taken care of without anyone on top

What is it about that head, of the shower, that is
That has her eyes rolling to the back of her lids
As she exhibits being uninhibited
Not ashamed, for her, what that shower head did

What is it about the warm towel drying her off
The sensual admiration of her body, getting her off
Every inch of her body covered in cloth
Each, her body, her towel, so equally, sinfully, soft

Despite the pleasure her love for me was still there
She said, “The shower could never hold her tight or pull her hair.”
Despite the wide, ear-to-ear smile on her face
It was nice to know the therapeutic shower could never take my place

Face Off

Your face is ever before me
like a painting etched in sky
as the dusk of dawn approaches
     still seeking the reasons why

I would set upon your head a crown
     before you would I bow
with affection would I clothe you
     if knew I only how

Every sight of you is pleasure
your voice to me a song
every feeling within that's stored up
to be empty of it wrong

Never have eyes seen so much
stored in a well of man
fought have I with resistance
     It's course for me unplanned

The mountains into the valley slide
the path of which you spake
to empty there every river
like the fig in wind does shake

My ear has heard its calling
     like angels in the wind
the words of a heart falling
     to reason its amend

Every note has played its key
     upon us did aria descend
the chords of exultation
     a song can none pretend

Every key has its own note
     every scale its own cry
every sound of truth you hear
     will every lie defy

You are my beloved one
     none can you replace
in every place I seek you
to have my eyes upon your face

Just Like That

Sitting on the shore of the sea;
Captivating the wild waves and the benevolent sunset;
Feeling the gentle breeze of the tropical wind;
Closing your eyes and sensing the sweet smell of salt
Embracing with your perfume of roses
Creating a deeper aura than the bottom of the blue sea.

Listening to the harmonious birds sing;
Palpating the fine sand
That slips from my hand;
Longing those memories of summer
And the sweet, tender kiss from your lips.

My love, stay tonight;
Let us join our hearts
Without any reproach
Like steel chains that cannot be broken.

Just like that my sweetheart,
Our love will never end.

Sunset memory

As I stood atop a hill
where water meets the sky
I watched the sun descend
and what wonder met my eyes
The clouds bore through the horizon
pouring splendour way up high
Its brilliance was confirmed when I
was joined by passers by
We all stood there in silence and saw
the peach, the gold the greys
In awe we stood and with one glance
we knew what each would say
Waves smashed the rocks below us
lights bounced between sky and the sea
The cool breeze danced around my face
for the briefest of moments it hypnotised me
Its grandeur second to none with its beauty
As far as the eyes can see
Its vastness incomprehensible,
yet there it was, in front of me
The lights from the land burnt bright, as darkness
Doused the lights from the sky and the sea
the nights chill sets deep like the moments before
thats my sunset memory

This Evenings Sunset

Beautiful horizons on the Earths hemisphere
Leaning backward gently make my worries disappear
Words said softly with a new attitude
The sun sets softly in a west worldly mood

Cotton candy colors blend till their blued
All Gods time well spent after a hot afternoon
Hot pinkish shadows follow gray clouds scoon
We're waiting for the rain that is coming soon

Watching the wondrous sunset
Coming up over the edge of the world
 And waiting for the moon

The Scream 2008

What have you done oh God of my heart
with love of a man you have filled every part
there was peace here once now it is gone
I stand alone though to him I belong
Why is it always the ones that I love
never return that gift from above
Love was supposed to bring us joy
but the one I love I seem to annoy
will I find peace in the dust of death
it seems more desirable than a heart bereft
for in death is the comfort of peace
wherefore the pangs of life seeks release
no toils , no trouble , six feet below
away from the fates I have come to know
beneath pale moon and her starry sky
to you alone whose tears hear me cry
my heart and its parts were given to you
to what I have learned I have tried to be true
the pyre of desire and I walk in its flame
a prison I cannot seem to its name
conflict and strife abiding here now
in a place that had peace alongside my vow
a crimson tide has washed my soul
the seeds of desire have taken their toll
I think I need freedom if I am to live
but my heart to another it seems you would give
what good can it do him if he cannot see
the depth of the loving dwelling in me
why I ask why have you done this thing
where is the joy you hoped to him bring

Still Screaming

My world today is a pallet of grey
like the skies above without my love
in the thermals the eagles soar
within my heart the feelings roar
crystal grey clouds shadow my life
the joy I hoped for has become strife
ascending on wind my eagles take flight
wheeling and turning till out of my sight
they've spent their day dancing for me
weaving and playing between the trees
my happiness with them seems to be gone
over shadowed by feeling I do not belong
they cascade with grace above the slate sands
diving and rising in their life demands
I've walked the beach to watch them play
why is my joy in it gone with this day
the answer is there I won't speak it out loud
with my mind and heart in the fog of this cloud
anon my dark cloud has clothed my light
and become prostrate hopes that were bright
where is my warmth and the glow of its coals
the war and the peace dividing our souls
the things I believe have met a brick wall
to the heart of another I have given a call
It has taken no comfort in words I have given
the displays of my heart which I have striven
I have made my soul naked to open his eyes
perhaps like my past he sees it as lies
you know nothing as nothing he gave
even if my heart to him is a slave
god of my heart where is my release
why can't I shelve it and be at peace
my mountains, beach sand, birds and her rains
with joy I walked them the treasures I gained
my fields weren't fallow or so I thought
but fertile within the heart that you wrought
the steel of the plow raketh my ground
and soil that bleeds is what I have found
the one I could trust and my soul bare
the joys of my heart that we could share
the rich treasures I found in his mind
reflecting his heart that's so hard to find
soil that is rich and teeming with growth
prolific in thoughts to give up I am loath
with tears I have begged that I understand
how my heart could have fallen so hard for this man
barely two meetings with so little time
the first time I saw him , I wanted him mine
the thought that I had before I first spoke
was us on a mountain and my exile broke
the depth I saw lying deep in his eyes
in that well I have fallen but is it disguise
if I choose to refuse will my heart endure
how can I know if the feeling is pure
Never have such thoughts entered my mind
how can I know if their making me blind
I've laid them before you god of my soul
will they break me or make me whole

Beauty

1
Beauty holds meaning too many.
There is beauty in all.
Beauty is captured by eyes.
Love is true beauty forever.
Bonding two in glorious bliss,
Love is captured by the heart.
Enriched by the spirit,
Held in sync by touching,
2
Nature’s beauty is in all seen.
Embodiment, collectively,
In all stages of structure
Spring, summer, autumn and winter
Amazing venues of events,
Each with beauty their own,
Empowering the next
Phase of magnetism.
3
What and who knows real true beauty.
Beauty to one is another’s,
Ugliness they cannot stand.
Eyes to eyes make a connection.
Heart to heart a bond forever
Mind to mind develops goal
Beauty of the soul guides
All couples, so serene.

Salome

Beauty of the Maliced-Night Come to me, Wake me up Forlorn I've been for Centuries My heart beckons for the day of the thought of You Glimpsing in my dreams I see you fighting through The Iron-Gate that held me too You ordered my death in such a Beauty-Blinding way How can I refuse? The dust and sand of the desert's wane Has left myself to Blame The lust and land of the Desert's Wane Suffocated me with the forlorn days I've met you my lover I've met you my execution I've met you my Loving Shame I've met you my Salome Salome, Selfish Lover Salome, Gates of Jerusalem hold you In Salome, my Beauty The Dust and Sand of the desert's wane The Lust and Loving Shame Has left Myself to Blame I've Met You My Salome

Man that I Love

Sing to me a song my love
of earth below and heaven above
fill my ears with the sound of your voice
and let me know I was your choice
let the light of my joy fill your air
and in my love you'll know I care

Strong is my fair one and true
with a depth rarely given to few

Caress me with the sounds of your song
for to you only do I belong
tenderly find each note that you play
give me all that you have to say
may your words reach into my heart
and fill each and every part

Sweet is my fair one and true
with a depth rarely given to few

Without you I am not whole
you fill the depths of my soul
kiss me with the rise of the dawn
at sunset fill me with your song
do not awaken my love
unless it descends from above

Strong is my fair one and true
with a depth rarely given to few

To Endure a Thorn

Life is garden full of various fauna.

There will be brush that appeals to the touch and other vegetation that appeal to the other senses.

You will find flowers with the most intoxicating of fragrances. Witness flowers with the most beautiful of petals.
You will hear the buds come to blossom. Here you will taste the most exotic and comforting of nectars.

But the rose you seek will have the most thorns.
This rose is called joy.
But to hold this rose means one must endure its thorns.

We must ignite the passion that can melt away the pain and rekindle the flame so it’s warmth can dry our eyes and rid us of all our previous shame.

We do this all to hold a rose, spend restless nights , shed tears, feel scorned,
....all to endure a touch of a thorn.

Blossoms 1970's

Thought I'd like to try my hand
at poems ode's and prose
but my writing is not grand
nor speech much like a rose

all have heard of morning dew
and times etching of the sand
the old mans graying hairs not few
and the beauty of the land

Yes the flowers lovers bring their maids
with time do hang buds down
and the petals always land
eventually on the ground

The buds and babes of spring go forth
to find the summers heat
who with her inequities do scorch
all those who walk earths street

So although I've taken pen in hand
I've nothing much to say
for life has burned it's painful brand
in all the born today

Time does speak of baby's breath
that adorns the rose bouquet
fragile tender leaves of fern
decorate the lovers way

But grasp the flowers
tight in hand
there you'll find this way
thorns who under leaves do stand
were hidden all away

Life comes with precious dreams and truths
to be taken by your hand
and often times the real proof
lives beyond the old thorns brand

Sweeter than the roses
is the breath of Love
and it's own descending
comes down from above

Flowers of many kinds are there
Yet not beauty to compare
to the bud and blossom
the Tree of Love does wear

Standards

You are beloved still
and thoughts are tender
which mine mind speaks softly
                                       unto my heart
so secretly are they
conveyed within mine self
to be hidden from you
that you might not treat them
                                        as inconsequential
or lightly esteemed

for so many give praises
on clothing external
for so conspicuous a talent

I sought the face behind
                             the visable
that core of tapestry
of character so clouded
by the gloss what the world
                                    deems ascent
where a mans praise
is what he paints
and not what he values

to color this orders conceit
as the heigth of expressions
and self aggrandizement
                                over ones peers
as healthy competition

and pulled are we
twixt the masters

a heart which dispises injustice
and the accolades of the systems
                                                   praise
I can not love the world order
though I care dearly
                       for its children
I despise its values

do we judge that its princes
have more worth
                   than its paupers
that the rich
have more virtue than
one not holding wealth
                          in admiration
what standard has the world raised

does any exceed
the absolute laws of love

what have been its reflections
the mirror of its values
what fruit has it produced
answer me this

from whence is its source
that its display might be
seen in its depth today

that mankind hold
                      no accountability
to the cosmos or himself
but the mad pursuit of
self importance , ego

yet I would lend you my
esteem for so great a many
                                    qualities
that I love in man
that I seek in them
those things that are true
                                   treasures yet
and shall always be

Black Rose

I continue to find myself in a pensive state of mind.
Giving time more time.
Even worse, i'm wasting time thinking of the time I've wasted.
Letting thoughts untwine reminessing of the passions tasted.

Here I stand a man with no set destination.
No guides no plan , no helping hand.
Just heroes for who I show admiration.

Just another try to ignite the spark, to set the blaze so I can with stand the fire.
Just another chance to form iron from this ire.

All these thoughts that have been written down left unread.
So hard to forget the words never spoken.
How easy it is to admire the lies that are so token.
How delightful it is that hearts gravitate towards another when broken.

These forms and ideas together they untwine.
How each dark thought sprouts in the night.
How the black rose blooms in the lack of light.

Voiceless

I have called to you my Love
with the only voice I have
take courage be strong
for my Love will everlast

I would join my heart to you
I would walk with you beside
follow you anywhere I could
only do so as your bride

This is the only place
I am free to speak to you
though deeply I consider
to tenderly voice what's true

This life I want you in it
and never very far away
I miss our two minds speaking
the quiet words we say

There'll never be another man
who is the like of you
the perfect match to my heart
where my love will remain true

The moment I fully saw you
and knew you read me well
your eyes follow everything
and see inside my shell

This is as brave as
my voice will ever get
far too much injustice
by men I don't forget

When you want the real thing
and you've given up your fear
remember that I love you
and I'll be waiting here

Breadth

He has gone forth
and traversed the paths of the world
and sought out those things
the desires of his soul

to see the majesty of the land
the work of those who labor
                  in their daily struggles
who walk in flame and in pain

and to preserve those things
in song and moving pictures
so that others might
                            see as he sees
who can turn his course
his feet are firm set

                                 his focus is fixed
and he has stayed true to his path
                  who can move his heart

He understands himself
can another see him

His fire smolders It is in his control
            His power is his own

a richly landscaped mind
                  the possibilities are endless
the depth and breath of him
                  is ceasless and endearing
My heart aches to explore him
and mine the vastness of his mind
its expanse is awesome a lifetime to reach into

all his nooks and crannies

                      May the sun rise
and shine upon all you do that is true
                      May you know that you
have brought beauty into my soul
and touched my heart
                       tenderness fills it
the only man who has moved me
from myself my own circumspection
         to look upon his

no scriptures for this as its simply reflections

Man Beloved

Oh bright star man beloved
upon your visage mine heart has hovered
examined closely the paths you travel
your soul I desire to unravel

depth upon depth draws forth your design
and within a formidable mind
wherever you turn there is success
the things that your hands caress

carefully constructed a life that's yours
fathomless love of the forests outdoors
and of painting the perpetual shores
having roamed the Irish moors

appreciation for God whom you imitate
fabrication and artifice do you create
always tendering for something new
Love for nature shows in all you do

My heart within has become entwined
upon table of life you've richly dined
all those lives that you pass through
can't be untouched by what is you

in ancient times deemed for courts of Kings
maidens sing of your deeds with tambourines
danced for you would the ladies fair
for each would deign your table to share

Sometimes I think your a little remiss
that they all want softly your lips to kiss
within your presence they wish to stand
that God has designed a glorious man

Do you know oh man , do you reflect
what is your impact and upon those you effect
and lift our souls when upon us you shine
and show us that God's gifts divine

Like mountainous meadows richly clothed
and habitation wherein creativity abode
a man who dwells by the motherlode
who knows that life is richer than gold

indwelling a man is spiritual fire
the work of his hands shows inner desire
embrace the gifts that Father does give
to show wherein your loves do live

God would gift you even more
because for him your heart did bore
to receive those that he would gift
you must your eyes to Father lift

Formation

Have you seen the man whom my soul loves
does spring boundless like the antelopes afield
whose consumations thus give to herds their yield
like lightly soars in thermals flocks of doves

The strength of pillars in the sinews of his limbs
so skillfully lifts the music of his hands
gathers those who so listen from their stands
and bring pleasures where he whose talents spends

I had searched the mountainous valley's long ago
to find a soul whose depth as rich as he
so many I had scanned though did not see
the like of him in any people I did know

Thus to my chambers I would him chance
but he would have to leave the fields flocks
exclusive is the devotion behind doors locks
or partake the tables spread in harlots dance

To waltz like winged bird upon the wind
whose unseen direction comes from whence
and depth of feelings that make not sense
didst this emotion upon mine heart descend

Tis now two years I have you letters sent
to give mine thoughts you by song I sing
that you might understand like bird on wing
the nature of the truth in word now lent

From the depths of what is true these words now formed
whose intent to be like rain upon the fields of grass
that might turn attention to so unbeautious of lass
whose God has these feelings within adorned

So has long in word have emptied out her soul
that he might read and see what is her past
so fashion to his reason and understanding cast
thus the secret person within might come to know

Could he not know that every word was given voice
to paint a picture of what is of Love and True
a gift wrapped like music in a tonal hue
that he might clearly see and make a choice

Thus seen like wisps of clouds in boundless sky
whose movements formed by mists and winds
invisible from where all courses begot sends
and by word have fully fashioned what is I
