New Road

In a new road,
Rain will fall,
Wind may blow,
Swifting our woe.

The road forever on and on,
Many paths to choose,
Many paths to take,
Home behind,
World ahead...

Through the shadows,
Through the night,
Clouds going by,
There we will lie,
Very deep,
Seeing shivered land,
Seeing the dead seas...

Through the edge,
Miles to go,
Singing by,
Darkness rising,
Vanishing light,
Hollow flourishing,
Going by,
World ahead,
Home behind...

Rain may fall,
Through the nightfall,
Through the twilight,
Through the dusk,
Through the dawn,
Beyond mountains,
Beyond stones,
Standing strong,
Wandering lost,
World ahead,
Home behing,
Paths on and on,
'Till the road comes along...

Moments In Time

The sweetest sounds of burning trees
A gentle stroking in the breeze
The calm has lasted past the storm
Cloudy visions, Satan’s roar
Too many sights have passed my way
A time found only in the haze
The softest screams are running bare
My aching bones creak as I stare

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark

The battle’s started at the end
No one is coming to repent
The sinners grab their wine from prey
No judgment calling here to stay
The sport is reckless to be told
The one is laughing at his souls
It falters nowhere to be sure
The power grows forevermore
Like a spirit in the wind
I have no say in where you’ve been
But cross the line to come to me
And pay the price for ecstasy

You walk a distance towards me
The fall’s eternal, can’t you see?
I’m a memory in your heart
I whisper to you in the dark.

Don't Worry Child

Don't worry child
Don't cry
Don't let fear
Find you

Don’t worry child
The life
Still needs you
You will find life
When you find
You!

Don’t worry child
Don’t die
Beside the cold trees
Find your way out
Find the life inside

Don’t worry child
May the branches of doubt
Lead you to the leaves
Where everything is calm and green
Away from the screaming steam

Don’t worry child
in the forest
Deep inside
Between the ashes and shadows
A mystic soul shines
Among the trees of life
Always by your side

Don’t worry child
Don’t cry
Find life
inside you
Don’t die
Your soul is bright
Your tree will shine
soon
You will find
You are one of a kind
So Don’t worry child!

Autumn

When sunlit days
become lost in shade,
and all that was verdant
becomes windswept jade,
withering leaves become
gold and brown, summer’s reign
at last,has lost her crown!

Hidden Fortress

O Lost and Weary Knight
A heavy heart has led you to this hidden grove
This fortress nestled in warm darkness

Come to me; collapse into my outstretched arms
We will fall among the tender bluebells
Rest your tired head upon my lap

And feel ... With every breath exhaled
The sorrows weighing upon your anguished brow
Disappearing ... Taking to flight on agile wings
Dissolving... into trickling rays of sunlight

I will collect each happiness we discover together
String them along, into a glimmering crown for your head

Clasp your hand in mine
Allow me ... to kiss away those cold, heavy tears
As I cradle you to sleep with gentle lullabies

While time ... Slowly fades away into nothing
And locks us eternally in our hidden fortress ...
I will give you peace, my Lost and Weary Knight

The Mighty Waves

The aching need to be near
The enduring pain no one could bear
Trying to control the mounting fear
As disaster strucked unaware.

Felt so alone, with no one there
Seeing the love ones drifted apart
But they could only see,
As they became the ocean's heart.

Who could express the lost they had?
Who could feel the heart hurting so bad?
Crying over a lost son who is just a little lad
They could do anything but bring him back.

Country shattered and torn
People left homeless
Mighty wave come and gone
Strong but merciless...

New Paths

A new path is what we seek.
The surroundings are taking a peek,
Going through, very meek,
Seeing no bleaks,
Getting piqued,
While hearing creaks,
In the new paths that we seek...

The new path is what is found,
Going through forests bound,
Going through the path inbound,
With soothing and raging water sounds.
Walking confound,
Silence profounded,
Sight astounded,
Passed through burial grounds...

Seeking for another way around,
Noises resound,
Spirits surround,
The paths newfounded,
Our instincts compounded,
Followed by the hounds,
Echoes in ultrasounds,
Passed through mysterious breeding grounds...

Going to stamping grounds,
Trying to get off this ground,
With those burial mounds,
Death moving the wheels around,
Silhouettes running aground,
Trying to leave safe and sound,
Passing through some hunting grounds...

Seeking for common grounds,
The mistaken path redounded,
Regretful screams abound.
Plans propounded,
Though some are fouled,
Throughout the paths that were found...

However, most are lost and wounded,
Most tended to walk out,
Some minds and hearts full of doubts.
Hearing salvation shouts,
From all these new paths walked and found...

The Physics of Sunshine

The Physics of Sunshine

And I'm finding it hard to break through and tell you
About the physics of sunshine
And when it's all over we may find ourselves together singing out of tune
About the wishing wells and spells softly spoken in the dark

In an electric arc of promised carousel rides, candy thoughts, and whispers of coastlines
Explored and undone petals washed in rays of time and history
I'm finding it hard to explain to you
All that is misunderstood

The sunshine is warm and the particles they spin
In and out of existence
Oh, though I find myself lost within the entropic withering energy of now
Without the physics and the lyrics of sunshine cast
I could never lay these particles into you

I'm with you on this deserted but scarred terrain
Dancing with the theories of existence all entwined
In our glass of wine and our lips locked around the mirrors
Of today, colored with the existence of tomorrow

And I see you in my dreams
Often in the sunshine you are singing
Often in the darkness you are clinging to my t-shirt
And tugging at my heart through my jeans

Even in the sunshine I'm lost without you
And though gravity holds me here
The spin of our destiny still needs to be tied with string
My love inflated – bound within this universe

My heart and fear are now time tested
And now it is into the sunshine of another place parallel to our own
Whether in this dimension or the next one over
I'm tied to you fast forward or rewind
Our love will always be alive

A Shady Tree

I know its the summer time because of how naturally
Your beauty compliments the caress of a summer breeze
As I watch the world from beneath a shady tree
I take in the delightful comfort of everything I see
But in the same breath I am holding up my hands
Lord will you please give me back the things I no longer have
They are even more a part of me now that they are gone
As the sun falls below where the horizon is still holding on
Somewhere between the falling light and a star lit night
Is a dream that last forever and will never say goodbye
As the wind gently blows through the brush and shakes the leaves
It begins to hum a melody that I want to sing
At that very moment I smile for all the joy I have
Its so uplifting for me to see melancholy dance
Soon the morning sun will rise and capture my eyes
As I watch the hand of God paint a brand new sky
With every stroke of color I swallow all my pride
And I find a new place to dream of endless times
If I should ever get to the place I left my broken heart
Only then will I believe this brand new day will start
Again Im reminded of why my heart beats so restlessly
Only the speed of thought and my soul beneath this tree

Sound of music

I'm lost in the sound,

lost in the music,

trapped in the decibel,

caged by the keys,

hidden in the rhythm.

The maze of harmony

complicates my gyrations

controls my movements.

Encore, over and again
is the pattern of this composition

I'm lost in the sound,

i dont wanna be found.

The Autumn Affect

There's something unspecific about the autumn nights
A certain shade of color that uplifts my inner child's eyes
Beside a cashmere moon Venus and Jupiter shine bright
Complimented by a sea of blinking infinite twilight
The scent of burning oak lingers in the air from home made fires
Reminiscent of a time when this man was just a child
Careless and so free to dream and any dream to live
Like feathers floating across a field carried by the wind
As a gentle breeze blows through the leaves shivering delightful gloom
Unlike flowers of springtime the disheveled autumn vibrance bloom
Leaves crackle beneath my feet along the skeleton tree path
Where I try to find my peace or a song to make me laugh
The air is so much crisper and also soothing when I breathe it in
Underneath a starry sky and brighter constellations of Heaven
Amidst the trail I pass a lovely couple holding hands
While their children run aside frolicking in a playful dance
An old man and his wife admire the view from a wooden bench
With smiles on their face as if nostalgia is still their closest friend
Its these specific autumn affects that bring me sorrows and joy
Reminding me of all theses things Ive wanted as a man since I was a little boy
Its times like these that I wish I wasn't always so alone
Because I would light an fire with my family and call it home

Red Roses

Their petals are falling as their colors change
It wasn’t this way before but is it strange?
These roses are dying in delicate sweet sorrow
Will their love shed too? Or will it see tomorrow?
Petals and love falling slow like soft snowflakes
A little change in season is all it takes,
But will these roses bloom again in a new morn?
Will their love come back to greatly adorn?

Will their beauty be gone forever once it fades away?
Or will it come back to make everything okay?
For what will the roses be worth if their beauty dies forever?
Will the image and value from them permanently sever?
Will the light in their eyes suddenly become dark?
As their splendor and significance steadily grow stark?
Or will they rise like light at the beginning of dawn?
And be reborn more beautiful than a swan?

Black and White

You’ve maddened me to the core
You singed me with your ferocious fire
We’re opposites… we’ll never integrate
We can’t blend with each other…
Your love and I’m hate
We’re contrary to each other…

So don’t even think about
Getting us back together
Because without a doubt,
We don’t click with each other…

So let us go our own way…

Everything’s black and white
You love to torture me with your deceptive devices
We’re playing this chess match – let’s fight!
Tonight, you’re going to pay the prices
You’re going to be deleted from my mind…

I’m not the one that should pay the price
You act as if you’re an angel from heaven
But, you’re a fiend…a devil from hell...who needs your advice?
Could someone unchain me from this prison?

So let us prepare for that day…

Fear and bewilderment build inside of our minds
Taking over us…we’re wasting valuable time
Terror and wrath injects into our veins…time starts to unwind
I’m regaining my glory…this moment feels so sublime

You think you’re innocent?
I can sense your guilt…bleeding through you
Do you live to feed me anguish?
Don’t deny it…you crafty demon…no wonder I feel blue

Let’s get ready for battle…
I’ll watch you decay…
IT’S PAY BACK TIME . . .
Taste my fury and my agony

Everything’s black and white
You love to torture me with your deceptive devices
We’re playing this chess match – let’s fight!
Tonight, you’re going to pay the prices
You’re going to be defeated…

I scream before nightfall
I close my eyes to kiss my demise
I want to disappear
Scratch away my desolation
Wipe away my tears…
Spewing out of my eyes…like a waterfall
Tonight, there will be dismay
There will be suffering
After sundown…
Failure and glory will expose like stars in the midnight sky
Who will earn the crown?
No one knows in silent wars – who can reveal the light in goodbye

Why are we black and white?
Are you too afraid to know the reason why?

Everything’s black and white
You love to torture me with your deceptive devices
We’re playing this chess match – let’s fight!
Tonight, you’re going to pay the prices
You’re going to suffer alone…

The Tiger's Eye

The tiger's eyes follows you He knows your every step Of his fang and claw beware Each step with measured care The shadowed jungle full of terror A hidden night bird calls again The moon on every swaying blade With daylight his call begins to fade The tiger follows its own path It does not know another way The end foretold in yesterday How long his habitat will stay 7/30/13

Gentle Ripples Passing - Lake Kariba

Water lapping at edge of the boat beneath the silence of the sky
Swaying branches of mopane trees and fish eagles cry
Wind of changing seasons and melting palates of hue
in the blood red sunset glow and murky silvery water blue

Elephants in numbers dot the shores
hippo’s and crocodiles are at the core
of many memories and visions of old
Lake Kariba, in land sea
full of tiger fish and bream

The endless blue that roles into the distance
where the sun rises and falls in panoramic vista
The skeletons of petrified monuments scattered in the sea
forests of pre historic trees swaying in the breeze

It wasn’t always peaceful, tranquil, and still
nature has no chance to relax and withdraw
Scheming and dreaming in the depths of men’s mind

Up Up Up goes the building and climbs
Man made dam, Damn big problem
How could this feet of engineering the power of ages old be so easy
to tame such a wild beast as the zambezi

POURING OUT THE CONCERT
RAMMING THE RODS OF STEEL
DRIVING THE WATER BACK INTO THE HILLS

HOWEVER, THE RIVER REFUSED TO YEILD
THE WALL BEGAN TO TIP, BUCKLE, AND KEEL
NOT ONCE, TWICE, WATER MARCHED THROUGH
LIKE A FACELESS WARRIORS, DESTROYING THE BARRIER
THE FORCE OF THE RIVER WOULD NOT BE SUBDUED

LIKE ALL NATURAL EVENTS, THE WAVES BEGAN TO SUBSIDE
THE SOLDIERS OF BLUE WITHDREW
UP WENT THE WALL, COMPLETED, IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME

Animals and people lost in the rising tide
from river, to dam, to lake to inland sea
Great and panoramic became the horizon wide

Like a whisper on the edge of wind
was a grand concert of ages gone by
Played out by wildlife, land, water, and sky

A harmonic existence of sublime serenity
Life here brings closure to one’s perspective
the sent of dust and adventure is quiet infective

The place of the skeleton trees, mountain passes, and copper sun still
where the stars in the universe, scatterings like lost thoughts, visions, and chants chill
across the forging path, that strides through this african wilderness blue
Lake Kariba, the artery of the north, run straight, run true.

Glisten in the Moonlight

Your glorious emerald eyes
Glisten in the moonlight
Glisten in the moonlight
Delight dances in the water
I watch it joyfully
You are set free from the cage...
You're like a dove soaring in the sky
You are the rain...
drizzling down in ecstasy
A hint of ecstasy is shown in your reflection...
When you caress me... I'm relieved...
From the stress that forced me in chains
I knew we'd be on the brighter side of tomorrow
We're glistening in the moonlight
I knew we'd become candles in the heavens above us
We're glistening in the moonlight
For a moment, I felt your presence...your radiant with sympathy
I saw at first glance the dark side of you
Tonight, we'll be together and fly through the horizon
We'll watch the sunset say its last goodbye...
We'll wave a greeting at the moon!
We glisten in the moonlight...
What if I was as handsome as the lion...
Roaring with pride and pure courage
What if we were glistening in the moonlight?
Would it bring health to our bones tonight?
Would it make our heart rejoice and overflow with delight?
Would we be able to survive this horrifying plight?
Would we be shimmering like a candlelight?
We're glistening in the moonlight... (6)
Ohh...yeah...ooh yeah...ooh yeahh...
We reach to the stars and hope we can trace a shooting star
I feel the coolness run down my fingers...
We're glistening in the moonlight
You're the dandelions in the fields
You're the gorgeous view that I marvel at everyday
When you kiss me, I live my dreams
We glisten in the moonlight
In a quick moment, I sense a feeling of endless renewal
I roam inside of your illuminating maze
Glow on... sunshine...
Glow on...sunshine...
Glisten in the moonlight...
Listen to the truth and rub it in
You are ravishing like the sunset
But you're ascending while I'm descending
I feel extremely guilty
I wish I could glisten with you in the moonlight
You're glistening in the moonlight (6)
Ohhh yeahh... oohhh yeahh... ohh yeahh
You're glistening in the moonlight (4)
We go our own way
I wish we can glisten like the moon
Glisten like the sun
There's a dream concealed inside of me...
Reveal your light and pour it upon me
You glisten in the appealing moonlight
While I'm subsiding... you're fulfilling your dreams
Of gliding across the horizon
You're independence... keeps on scorching with satisfaction
While I'm below you...
Your emerald green eyes
Stared me down like a hawk...
Your emerald eyes
Gaze down at me genuinely...
I wish we could flee together in reality...
That could be a possibility
To glisten in the moonlight in glee
We were glistening in the moonlight (3)
But that was only a dream...
I'll pray that it turns into a reality
We were glistening in the moonlight
Now, I've misplaced my delight...
Will I ever experience such a brilliant night?

My Future Generation

I can act insane
But DO NOT
Make me feel worthless

I belong in God’s family
He will bless my future generation

Don’t punish me for
Being myself –
Don’t envy my glee

I can act like an
Adult, but I’d
Prefer to have joy…

Not stress…
That piles upon us in our
Everyday lives

Being childlike is

A rare beauty –

No one prizes it…

No one came across it…

In this lifetime…

I can laugh all day
I can make you smile
If you’d accept my
Childlike dreams of mine
Don’t treat me like a sick swine

Renew my young heart
Give me the ability
To kill the old man…

I have my place in God’s family
He’ll be adored and glorified
We’ll exchange prayers and hugs
By my future generation

I beg of you –
Don’t kill my childlike mentality
I’ll behave myself…
I’m positively sure that I’ll make you happy

I’ll still have pieces of a child in me

And pass it on to my future generation…

The Rain and Wind

The wind blew events all over the place.
Intense emotions and it gave chase.
Lightning lighting to show us the sky.
People try to sleep and not cry.
Wisping by the wind keeps us awake.
The time trying to sleep the storms take.
Chills in everyone gives all shiver.
The clouds surrounded by moonlight is silver.
Heavenly prayers that the rain will stop.
The flood stopped a car the person in it was a cop.
People have seen such devastation.
The road that people made was week in creation.
Rivers near by was over flowing.
Trees that were there was not showing.
By the hour it claimed many.
My father woke up and did not see any.
Floating by was a boat.
Keeping people above water and a float.
My father kept a canoe.
That some day we would use it, that he knew.
Time to paddle up and down the street.
The rain water kept getting on our seat.
It was so dark after the moon was behind the cloud.
Still the noise of thunder still covered the ears loud.
The smell of moist water never seem to go away.
My brothers seem to still sleep anyway.
My head was bobbing up and down.
I was so tired that I could not hear a sound.
The wind blew back and fourth.
It seems that my mom and dad paddle their worth.
Till all the people we saw with grace.
Help us out with embrace.
The time was so late at night.
Everyone was so sleepy and losing sight.
The fight with the weather was so hectic.
The feelings of energy was electric.
Losing to such natural disaster is hard to understand.
When people working hard to block the river with bags of sand.
With hard workers like my mom and dad.
They make things happen that is not bad.
Rough with weather they experience more than ever.
Leaders they are they are very clever.
From the night light of street lights to the morning glow.
The wind did not stop so.
Bringing in more clouds that ill.
The people who were still tired still had will.
The rush of water and waves blasting push the wall side.
Pushing and the force brought water inside.
The battle of our hour was getting long.
Backup people came to aid us was strong.
Rested they were to keep everyone with hope.
The people stopped the water with the strength of rope.
Heavy rain and loss of homes bring people together.
It is kind of sad that this was the only time to gather.
Chaos comes happiness how true.
This is why we are human that gives us a clue.
It is our nature to keep rain falling.
To know when it is time for our calling.
The winds bring such pain and sorrow.
That is why rain sometimes fallow.

Garden Rose

Written August 21, 2013

There's a girl in the garden
She's messing with your rose bed
Plucking weeds out from your head
And watering the seeds in your bed

But where will she wander
When the roses are dead
Will she come back for more
When they turn back to red

She can run all alone
Write this story in stone
On concrete slabs
Of skin and bone

Freedom Reigns

"'Cause when your back's against the wall
That's when you show no fear at all
And when you're running out of time
That's when you hitch your star to mine
We won't be leaving by the same road that we came by"

~Keane - My Shadow Lyrics ~

------------------------------------------------------------ There is no celestial place for you to guide my thoughts Can you not see that I am free from you? I am a black bird perched high in the treetops You will hear my crowing and you may hate it But my dear, you cannot take away my voice! Yet still, as fire oppresses forests of life, You can abuse my freedom to find your glory You may discard these words for your love of gods, And in so doing you may simply ignore All the cries that I so passionately utter But my infectious species will guide your mind straight back To that once so lonely treetop where you merely glanced And there will be multitudinous, oppressing thoughts That shall enslave you and bind you unwillingly The crows will only grow louder when you turn away— When you pretend to ignore with your remaining, strangling pride For my voice is a production sent from above Dispatched to judge you pitilessly for your swelling lies! And the choirs of ferocious beaks shall open forever Harmony and dissonance as one

Words of Life

Drowning in the pool of anguish…oh…oh…
I’m venturing into the forest…and I want to hear the words seep out
Release these aching sorrows…I worry my soul’s drying out…
like a drought…
Drain out the fluids from my heart
It’s gouging me…bruising me to the core…

**chorus**
Embrace the light…embrace the midnight sky…
You fall in my arms – you die so warm
Shed me more sun to lift up my spirits
From the…underground…and release me – I’m breathless
I’m drowning in doubt…ooh… oh…

Remember me…I’m falling…into my swirling fate…hanging on the roots
Strangling my heart…distorting in my veins… I’m bleeding so softly – cut out the wood…
Splintering me…I’m shattering… and I’m falling in the abyss
Bring me more radiance from my candle light
Warp me up in bliss…don’t let the midnight sky…don’t take away my delight
From the…ocean…and save me—save me…oh… oh… I’m failing

*chorus*

I’m drowning in regret…ooh..oh…
Hit the bull’s eye in my heart…embrace the light
And don’t leave me hanging in the abyss…hand me a kite!
Save me before I fall apart…shut out the night
And don’t let the dusk escape us…

I must confess…
I must confess…
I hate to see you abandon the light…
But I’m not the one to save you from the night
Ooh…ohh…

*Chorus*

Splintering lies fill your heart
I want to kiss it goodbye…
But you’ve mastered it like a piece of art
I want to kiss the abyss and die…
Dry… I wanna touch the sky with my whole soul
But I’m failing and the end of time has taken its toll
Tainted sorrow…swims around me…I dwell where the waters depart
But the anguish still swarms in my heart…
I’m failing…my heart stops beating
And my desires are fleeting
From my grasp
And the monsters laugh at me…as I fall…

*chorus*

Embrace the midnight sky…catch me…catch me…
As I fall in death’s arms…I die so cold
And your heart is made of gold

Untangle the darkness & take away the nightmares
Answer our prayers & block out the night
Erase the heartaches & wipe away our tears
Unravel Your words of life & delight

SHIPWRECK OF THE FISHING FLEET

SHIPWRECK OF THE FISHING FLEET 11/24/2012

He was lost in white surprise
Of drugs and doctors quips
His mind was filled with flapping sails
Of white that guide the ships
To dance among the white capped rocks
In North white nights of June
Bring in the catch to catch the maid
Who’d be his wife so soon.

Wild hair so white it shamed the sheet
That soft caressed the grass
The grass-plagued daisies held her there
As clouds triumphant passed
In columns white the bossy clouds
Marched brisk across the sky
But none of them could match the spark
Of whiteness in her eye.

Fishing was the fruit of life
their land bore little green
the joy and danger that it brought
left little in between
and men who braved those waters
better be prepared to die
for reaping nets and filling holds
bows to a fickle sky

And then his shocked brain shifted
Jigged timed across his life
How many white nights had escaped?
The maid now was his wife!
Saw breasts so white that milk they gave
Seemed paltry in contrast--
To feed the babe that snuggled there--
The fruit of love surpassed.

Then shipwreck banged into his head
The white-flashed lightning zing--
He tested feet and moved his legs
Seemed he’d survived this fling
Of nature’s whims again he’d live
To tell the lusty tale
of how north winds had jumped from waves
to grab their ship's main sail.
Before the White-Christ
Had emerged from his Semitic genes
The sailors would have cried for Thor
To ease his hammerings.

Sailors lost were prices paid
To live in Arctic shores.
And, lost at sea was ever feared
By them, and wives adored.

He’d play a trick, they’d think him dead--
Would make a crafty tale!
By his hearth and in his bed
would sound a mourning wail.
His house would be a feast of black
Mad weeping would impress--
Then his imagination called her tears
He vowed each tear to bless

He smirked to think of their surprise
When he stalked through the door--

       An unsuccessful leap from bed—
                       He’d rest a little more.

And being man-- he pondered sex
And pleasures it would bring
There was no sizzling passion like
His lover’s offering.

a putrid glass forced through his teeth-
Morphia drew him in
To dream the dreams of healing arms
       prickles kissed his skin
He found her face beyond his pain, smile that could disarm--
In dreams , with wife, in languid bliss
he caught a fish of charm

Inevitable Bear

Oh lonely Inevitable Bear,
Padding claws, death in white
Sorrow in recurring nightmare
Instinct’s test; fight or flight?

Camouflage against the fence,
A challenge; my subconscious fear
Ominous slowly moving silence,
“Let me in, there’s a bear out here!”

Philosophical Poetry Week: Transient Tuesday

I am a misprint,
Ink blot on love,
I remain a maybe
Longing for fact,
No speck of lint,
A hand in glove.

Parallel clouds,
Whistling on cue
To a dead town.
Dream a sketch
Of silent crowds
Becoming you,
This boiling crown

Chews thought
Into flagellation.
Holes in the walls
To spy through,
Seeking a sort
Of bricked-up sun.
A heaven of halls,
All leaving you.

Nature's Sigh

The Black butterfly waves away her adorations
All she seeks is seclusion, subsuming slave to mortification
The Dear Air is all she can breath, captive of imaginary dreams
The Beacon resonates, but the hope isolates
The Wasteland's silky fingers caressing the virgin's face

So she is now, the covet of the damned
Programmed to every victim's pain
Carrying the weight of every sorrow
Drowning in wrongs she does not know
But paradise is at loss; she must go

Nature sighs after the bite
All my hopes fading
Don't look at me with those sorrowful eyes
How do you know exactly what I'm feeling?
I'm just the ghost flower passing by
And you can hear nature's sigh

You, Me, Us, Everyone

Flowers
Not named
Unknown to those with no curiosity
Buds, that dream of one day blooming
Being, more than they are
Flowers living
Being
Thriving
Touched by those who love
Protected by those who wish to love
Wishing to be more than they are
Buds, not truly knowing if they are ready for the world
Hoping they are strong enough
Wishing to be the best
You, Me, Us, Everyone

The Earth Will Keep On Spinning

The Earth Will Keep On Spinning!
When the road you are taking is splitting
And you lose sight of loosing
And winning
One moment of truth is given
To remember looking
Above..
Stars are shining
Worth of giving
Earth beneath is begging
for dying
But beyond is living
The Earth Will Keep On Spinning!

My Grass Daffodils

Dedicated to my neighboring Agri. University Lawn, Kanpur India.

My Grass Daffodils

The Sun was trying to hide away,
The Stars were yet to shine on way,
The trees were silent,
But the breeze was a little violent.

In the fading golden light of Sun,
I was lost in simply watching,
The spreading beauty of Yours in abundance,

The ravishing beauty, was trying to stop me to leave,
To hear and to feel, the music of winds and Daffodils,
Coming from the swinging and singing grasses,
From which every year comes out, my yellow daffodils.

Every year I wait for them to come out,
Every year they wait for the raindrops to shower,
To show their short but enchanting appearance
On the neighboring grassland.

In those memorable moments,
Which sometimes I have spent,
In the alluring company of my sweet Daffodils,
I have tried to take away with me,
The swinging and singing splashes of my grass Daffodils.

They come out every year,
In several hundred thousands of numbers,
When ever the rains start showering its love,
Only on the grass lawn of Agri. University.
I often try to understand, how even a thing like grass,
Can be so beautiful and so fascinating,
That, any one can get lost,
In the eternal joyous singing and
Swinging of these Grass Daffodils.

In mild rains they bloom, without rains they died away,
Like humans, who gets faded and dull without love
And one day fades away or become jealous or cruel,
Without the tender care and love.

Every year you fascinate me, every year I get lost in you,
O my childhood friend from where you have come,
And to where you would go like a mystery of life, I do not know.

Once the rains are over,
You vanish like the diminishing light,
Like me you also seem to love,
The rains and its mild showers, as a blessing on us.

I know like humans,
You also do not like too much of rains,
And too much of showers,
Which can spoil the beauty of your petals,
And the beauty of you, my amazing Daffodils.

But like the Grecian Urn, you will continue
To bloom and smile,
On the grass lawn of Agri. University during rains,
And after that on the pages of my mind, heart and soul,
You would shine like the Sunshine,
Till I am living and dreaming on this earth.

Ravindra

Rowdy Racecar

ZOOOOOOOMING speedily…
Tires squeaking from exhaust… high in volume
Racecar spews out smoke…
Blinding the eyes of a thousand fans

Blooming havoc…
Explosions avalanche downwards
Racecar drives fast and furiously
Awesome feelings launch through me
Projecting panic and twisted bliss

Catching the audience’s full attention…
Tension between challengers increase
Who could stand in their way… not even the coaches
Racecar screeches on the racing street…
Ain’t this competition neat? Come! Take a seat!
This event is brilliant – it’s such a treat!

Producing thrill or disappointment…
Car organs, fragments, shards, remains, limbs, veins
Spurts out in flames… flying at every possible direction
Countless racecars… barely functions – this scene is extremely horrendous!

Yet, the victories are gracious!
Vibrant applauses and thanksgiving triggers enlightening cheer
Have no fear!!!
The moment is ever so precious!

Racecar…you make so much racket and suspense!
Rowdiness is in your nature…who will pay the expense??

Walk With Hope In Your Heart

Never fear that you walk alone
As God is walking by your side
He’s always there to give you strength
To comfort and to show he cares.
Remember God is with you every day
His light is there to be a guide for you
Let your heart be touched by his love
Open up your heart to allow his love through.

When you’re lost in the storm and feel very scared
Don’t lose your faith God is there watching over you
Gods guiding light will come shining from above
Beaming like the sun’s rays embracing you in love
At the end of the storm, the skies will be golden
The larks will be singing high in the trees
Reach deep inside to find the strength to carry on
Allow your fears to fly away with the breeze.

Remember now when days seem too dark
It’s impossible to put a smile on your face
Never give up because there is always hope
Deep inside your restless troubled heart.
Find a way to let faith back in your life again
Be rid of all the days of bitterness and pain.
Always walk with your head held high
With your faith you’ll never feel lost again.

To Wither and Die Not

Peace surrounds me on this day in May as I let destiny have it's own way I smile down on whom I am made grandly by all my yesterdays I will live again and all my hopes and dreams shall not shatter I am destiny's lost prodigal child, May has been a source of pain for me Seeming to harm me with it's innocent days hidden in coy smiles, yes it lied many times but not today, the day after yesterday beginning all my tomorrows We can not always live in the growing fields of flowers picking them and hanging them up to dry somehow in making something beautiful we forgot them and they did not dry, yet died We can not always hold onto our flowers some do not fare well to the process of living dry so today is not tomorrow nor yesterday but it will always be lost amongst some field of flowers No garden to train, yet sheer joy in what is natural for miles as far as the eye can see it is spring and I pat my body down, I lived through the night yes, I am alive, and did not die, as they live their destiny Yet, my flowers have no scent, and not many want them , but what glory can be found in the ordinary flower? the garden of no surprise with many needs to thrive, none, for there is nothing grander than a flower growing in fields wild Next year, it will spread it's seeds in the wind and prosper so much grander it will be each year there after, yes, growing wilder and my prayer is no one will cut them down or poison them ever-after yet someone will love the flowers growing wild tomorrow and the day after May they become a heart's desire, and glory will forever remain in those alive, and wild but never dried, or tamed, for how can we say nice things about something, we set aside to wither and die, in shame and pain, that should always be allowed to grow wilder, to wither and die not tomorrow or the day after
will edit when I get back home. SORRY GUYS!

A Futile Death

A Futile Death by Wilma Neels

Flying over the place that use to be my home
I’m glancing at the once blue green seascape
Transformed to a murky coal black scene
A faucet has been opened
When everything went up in flames
Amidst all the confusion
I lost everything I loved
Flying over, a silent prayer is prayed
Please keep them safe
Please close the hole
This is the only home we know,

As I sit on a rock
The sadness overwhelms me,
As my sister slips away
She has lost the battle
The oil slick has gone thicker
It’s gaining power with every hour
I pray dear Lord of heaven and earth
May her final breath not be in vain
I flap my wings in a silent salute
Farewell dear sister, you will be missed
May this be the last time,
I witness such ugliness…

That lost, Must Be Found

That moment we forgot what we did saw.
This no doubt our memory have failed us,
A signal that the time will not be thaw,
That moment we forgot.

When all throbbing has come and nestled, thus
The thing we saw reappears as its raw,
Then nothing can stop that call behind us.

Not lost memories are what we keep as law
The forgotten will haunt back as pulse
Highest shade, most lightening will tour and saw
That moment we forgot.

Where Wild Violets Grow

Where Wild Violets Grow

Scribbling these verses,
caressing your bare back,
simple rhymes,
flowing from my fingertips.

Scribbling verses,
sprinkling odes to fragrant promises,
your smile lightens the burdens,
off my heavy heart.

Scribbling verses,
soaked in countless kisses,
the moonlight waltzing on your skin.

Scribbling verses,
feeling you,
your love never ceases to flow,

through the streams of my mind,
to a place of our own,
where wild violets grow

I, Alone

I, alone,
Have felt this pain
That you have been hiding from me...
Stinging me with abhorrence...like acid rain
That pours fourth envy and strife in the wilderness
I, alone,
Have been inflicting pain upon myself - I just had to address

I, alone,
Have bottled-up my emotions forever it seems
Bringing me down...dragging me down
In a dark, murky trench...the sun beams

WHY do the sun not shine on me?
I, alone,
Can't bear my affliction
...all alone...
This solitude will
always hover around me...
The reason is still unknown
My mind is blown...
I'm surprised how much I've grown

I, daily,
Wish and pray for a brilliant future
For you...Remember, friend of mine -
To shine with confidence like the sun
REMEMBER, friend of mine:
You are never alone no matter what

I, alone,
Have experienced and felt your suffering...

You and I
Have to work together
And help each other along the way -

Are you willing to accept my offering?

Return to the Womb

Down in to the darkness deep
Slowly and delicately I now edge
In to the warmth so cold and bleak
In to the womb I once resided
In the mother I’d idolized
Wondering what did happen
Wondering what had changed
What had caused such death?
To cause such pain?
Still slowly moving, sneaking,
I started faintly weeping
Why would we cause this?
Why did we not see?
Still I inch, well tears did fall
Till a light I did spy
Till a sprig I now cradle
Now I see, as I gently stop my deplore,
My mother will forgive
All the hurt,
The hate,
All the people that did denounce,
All she has provided
All that she cherishes
Yet she now grants;
Redemption
Forgiveness
Unconditional love
All in the loud roar
Of spring

Why Red Roses Flow

Every year she returns to the scene
This place in question where life has been mean
On muddy banks down by the waterline
Alone in her tomorrow's, solitary resigned

Having already lost her husband in his freedom fight
No mother should enter this fateful night
Her baby, her son, that a mother sees to grow
Wandered from her safety to that fast water flow

All innocent and fearless little steps slowly walk
In playful surrounds just barely in talk
Noises up ahead attract this mind to peek see
So curious they are when they get a chance to break free

Down an unclimbable bank he faces his lure
Once a slow flowing stream soon to take natures pure
Yesterdays storms allowed the heavens to cry
Whilst his mother kneels down and still asks herself why

In her hand she clasps a bunch of Roses so red
Tears fill her eyes knowing her tomorrow's lie dread
Once again she looks back, facing a mothers fear
A last glimpse of the flow, feeling her lost sons tears

The Albatross

THE ALBATROSS
Under thunder blows a colder wind, across an endless sea,
Like a voice from the call of a far off shore in the solitude we perceive;
For ago remained an innocent age, torn away by a thousand years
Where sincerity alone is tied to its own majestic grace;
But flow on the bluest waves over the oceans deep and wide
Waiting long for things abandoned

Forsake those condemned to the early dawn, far past ten thousand year’s,
Still in all its silent symmetry, flies by a bird on wing;
Mysterious seemed that outstretched arm, in all 10 feet in span
Grasping what came from the east, bound to rays of light;
For seas are blessed by both good and bad
Waiting long for what’s abandoned

Fifty years is doomed to its own intent, lost in its own emotion,
While all that we can hold, is a time fifty thousand past;
Come see what waits is a soul possessed, holding a daylights passage
Where what seemed lost is an albatross, staring through its blacker eyes;
But all we see is the bluest sea, left under tomorrow’s sky
Waiting long for things abandoned

Crashes still those crystalline waves, warmed by spring’s rebirth,
Until we see an albatross, departing as the seasons change;
And a hundred thousand years escapes, slips away from time and place
Bound to the cliffs and bound to the rushes of a land so far away;
For over the bluest sea, is the sunlight that we seek
Waiting long for those things abandoned

Surrounded is he who waits in the shadow, lost to the rhythm we’ve created,
While somewhere stands an albatross, and drinks its salted wine;
For now is past a million years, gone to the mystery of life
Lost in the worth of simplicity and the innocents of desire;
But now the bluest sea is calm, with no sign of what is past
Waiting long for things abandoned

Escaped the thought of an albatross bound to the symbol of its virtue,
Leashed to the seas and the sound of the waves, longing a far off shore;
Hold on to the meaning of our vision, past ten million years
And hear the call of an albatross, its beauty and its wonder;
For here we see the bluest sea, in a land of lost intent
Waiting long for those things abandoned

Apocalyptic Visions

Earths red crust shudders
Skyline crackles purple forks
Famine feet flurry

My willow tree scorched
Lunar eclipse eternal
Barefoot beach walk dream

Volcanic ash views
A black season treelines crunch
Whimpered solo bark

Stagnant water tea
Pungent roots and herbs galore
Humanless abyss

Look Around You

Look around you
The world is already at an end
When the Mayans said that the world was going to end
They didn't mean a world destroyed by flare, quake, or salvation
But rather a world full of broken relation
That possibly, it wasn't a literal interpretation
But a figurative analysis of this falling nation
Are we not all the same people, the same human
But we'd rather live a life divided
A life divided by the color of our skin
What is war but greed to keep the amount of money left for our kin
Life is no longer cherished
The earth used for our own experiments until its resources perished
Genocide, assassinations, and murder supported for a "better cause"
Who are we to judge the abominations of others when there is flaw in our own laws
We continue to redefine what is socially accepted
Making a gateway for divorce, abortion, and legal prostitution
Rather than fixing what has been so psychologically rooted into the minds of this generation
We look to cover up past mistakes with a newly corrupted translation
Girls look for sex because of a lack of love from their fathers
Society tells boys to make use of this advantage
Treat girls as objects rather than human beings with emotions
And we later ask ourselves
How did these boys and girls ever become such bad parents
Our government shouts democracy
But isn't that really just a cover up to keep us appeased
It's most convenient when the majority stays quiet
Because only those in power can say that this earth's a heaven
To the majority, this earth is already a hell
The human race is so arrogant
Believing that they are the most superior in this world
That they can live without the mercy of God who should be in control
Look around you
The world is already at an end

Love Beneath Autumn Sky

We lay beneath autumn trees
And autumn leave gently falls.
Laying beside you I'm lost in your eyes,
I'm lost in the presence of you
And autumn leaves gently falls.

We lay there and autumn breeze blow.
Would I trade this moment, no, no.
The rose in your hair is white like winter snow,
beauty lies before my eyes and sparkles glow,
And autumn breeze gently blow.

We lay beneath autumn trees,
We lay in love of autumn breeze.
We lay together in each other eyes,
We lay beneath the season of autumn sky.

Autumn breeze blow and leaves of autumn trees fell,
Staring in your eyes I see the unspoken love for me it tells.
Autumn leave, red, brown, yellow,
in autumn wind they rattle a love symphony of being hallow.

Small rays of sunlight,
between autumn trees had you glow.
And as we lay together beneath autumn trees,
softly in our love we watch a autumn day goes.

Difficult Trials -Part 2-

Turn the wheel
*******he sea...
Push aside the misery...
The abominable agony...
Endure this hardship...with me
Fight off the tears and let us roam to sea
Don't make it hard for me
To determine the waters

We are the same kind
If you can be so KIND, let me show you your destiny -
To dwell with me in tranquility

We will try to share our responsibilities...
Take turns and share our possibilities...

How have you been?
Sorry we have shut our ears
To your deafening cries
I'm turning the wheel for you
You're losing energy...be still - why are you so blue?

I'll shut out the feeling of anguish

You'll get what you wish

We will start anew
We will start on a fresh start
We will fulfill our dreams and make them come true
We'll brew away the sadness
I'm determined to eliminate
The distress... swallowing us like a tidal wave...
Behave, you wild childlike waters!! Behave!

Don't worry - we'll get rid of
The limited happiness
And make our heart pump with merriness
Don't be a magnet of depression stress

You'll experience a wonderful opportunity
So you may feel at one with
Our world full of possibilities
And eliminate those cruel, wretched words
That tore apart our responsibilities...
Our activities... our reveries... our possibilities...
That brought us back together

We'll be hiking
These somewhat difficult hardships together

God Saw My Distress and Healed Me part 4

This question drives me up and down the walls
I know for certain that God has answered my calls
I can’t hang up on Him…He’s so brilliant
And I’m so little compared to Him…
Maybe I’m little in size and very insignificant compared to the most High
He gives me quite a natural high
He brings me back home and kisses me good night
Without His love, I’d be lost like a sheep losing his shepherd
I feel like I’m separated to God
As if God and I are on both sides of the coin…
Our oceans don’t collide with each other,
But He does make huge tidal waves…
And I make baby waves that swerve up and down
Like a wave’s movement, my life seems to have its low points and high points
But, when I build enough energy, I glide higher than the clouds
Though, unfortunately, I’ve only been dreaming this
Then, I collapse into the sand...my face rubs against it and I have scrapes all over
Sand and water do mix well, but afterwards, the sea shore’s weight will pile up on the bottom of the ocean floor
I can’t imagine how many grains of sand there are on Earth
There are countless amounts of ants on Earth as well
Trillions and trillions of them are in existence
It’s amazing how plants take in Carbon Dioxide
And we breathe in oxygen…
God is a fantastic creator and He did carve His creations pretty well
God saw my distress and He healed me
When I think about Him, I’m speechless and can’t say much
He’s made out of love and He bubbles me up with excitement
I haven’t given Him the credit of working miracles in my life…
But, I don’t want to divorce God…I must propose to Him like a wife
Does to her husband…I want to submit to Him
He made the sunset, the moon and stars
Look! He even made the planets and He healed our scars
He made the flowers, the roses and the creeping bugs
Look! He even made leaves for our eyes to see…
He made the change of seasons
God saw my distress and healed me
God made the wild cats, bears, reptiles
He made us have a brain that is as neat as black and white tiles
God healed me…and I’m simply glad He did so
God wiped out my distress…and He simply dressed me with happiness and He’s in high spirits to see me grow

~ Inspired by the band of Evanescence’s song: Never Go Back
~ God inspired me to write this poem…

A Blue Boy's Death Wish

A fragile mind breaks
Wake upon the rock laden shores
A muffled heart begs to echo
Whispers lost among a velvet chamber

Dusk comes premature time and again
Dropping the curtain on an optimistic sunrise
If you never witness dawn
There is no tomorrow

Always the dreamer aches
Never awake to make real what he desires
The restless corpse walks blind
Dead ends seem fitting for one of the kind

Lost in the labyrinth of strangling vines
Love is the motive and the weapon
Taking root in throats dry from weeping
Sprouts of amnesia in place of smiles
A garden called heartbreak holds onlookers captive
The comfort takes hold, sets in the bones weary of searching
A plea for rest lands on deaf ears

The hollow boy tires of himself
The last request he will ever make
"End me"
Lost and tired
He wishes to be weak no more

Life's Wholeness

Life and a living being
can never be separated
See one and you see
the other
Destroy one and you destroy
the other
Pluck a flower from a tree
and dissect it
to understand it
You no longer have that flower
as it existed
on the tree
You may have an understanding
of the relationship
between the components
of a dead flower
but you will have forever lost
the totality of the experience
of the LIVING flower
To see the flower in
its completeness
BECOME THE FLOWER
and understand a reality
that can only be experienced
but can never be put into words
for the whole is more than
the sum of its parts

EYE Don't See -Part 3-

My eyes
Witness your departure
My eyes
Are dripping with hopelessness…
My eyes start to blur…
Melancholy put me under pressure…
Is there a cure to my disease?

You don’t see
The shards of hope that once brought us back together
Just let me search for safety
I’m strong enough to realize that I’m no longer
The weakest prey out there…

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you hear me whimpering like a distraught puppy left on the train tracks?

I’m close to my demise…save me and take me home

Nourish me…and be my beloved friend

Will this friendship last forever?

Hopefully it has no end

Will this cheerful moment help us get along with each other?

Because of you…I feel the need to run
I keep an eye on you – I worry that you’ll hurt yourself again
Because of you…My freedom is nearly gone
I don’t wanna be caught off guard again
Because of you…EYE can’t picture a solution for our vexing dilemma
Because of you…eye can’t focus on my long-term goal

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you sense that I’m giving in to failure?
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…I can’t endure
The hardships that you place upon me…
Could you boost up my confidence to overcome
My atrocious anxiety?

I’m just waiting for some sun
To keep me in good hands…
To strengthen me with perseverance …
I’m just waiting until His son
Leads the world outtah Egypt and reveals to us…
His radiance…His dazzling Kingdom –
Vibrant with glee

Your undying sympathy dawns upon us
I’m overflowing with indescribable joy
You’re a candle in the night…
We meet eye to eye…
What a sight…what a precious sight

SHIPWRECKED for white contest et al

SHIPWRECK SURVIVOR

He was lost in white surprise
Of drugs and doctors quips
His mind was filled with flapping sails
Of white that guide the ships
To dance among the white capped rocks
In North white nights of June
Bring in the catch to catch the maid
Who’d be his wife so soon.

Wild hair so white it shamed the sheet
That soft caressed the grass
The grass-plagued daisies held her there
As clouds triumphant passed
In columns white the bossy clouds
Marched brisk across the sky
But none of them could match the spark
Of whiteness in her eye.

And then his shocked brain shifted
Jigged timed across his life
How many white nights had escaped?
The maid now was his wife!
Saw breasts so white that milk they gave
Seemed paltry in contrast--
To feed the babe that snuggled there--
The fruit of love surpassed.

Then shipwreck banged into his head
The white-flashed lightning zing--
He tested feet and moved his legs
Seemed he’d survived this fling
Of nature’s whims again he’d live
 to tell the lusty tale
of how north winds had jumped from waves
to grab their ship's main sail.
Before the White Christ
Had emerged from his Semitic genes
The sailors would have cried for Thor
To ease his hammerings.

Sailors lost were prices paid
To live in northern shores.
And, lost at sea was ever feared
By them, and wives adored.

He’d play a trick, they’d think him dead--
Would make a crafty tale!
By his hearth and in his bed
would sound a mourning wail.
His house would be a feast of black
Mad weeping would impress--
Then his imagination called her tears
He vowed each tear to bless

He smirked to think of their surprise
When he stalked through the door--

       An unsuccessful leap from bed—
                       He’d rest a little more.

And being man-- he pondered sex
And pleasures it would bring
There was no sizzling passion like
His lover’s offering.

Needle rudely poked-
Morphia drew him in
To dream the dreams of healing arms
       delightful prickles of his skin
He found her far beyond his pain--Oh, that smile that could disarm!
In dreams , with wife, in languid bliss
         created white hot charm.

PRE WHIT E STORIC

Winter wild of flurries
In ancient minds
Was a shelter
  From white fear

Wolves roved
  Stayed in packs
   Howled their presence
   Hating snow

Bears slept
 Hidden away
 Violence and terror
  Only a summer dream

White drifts
  Blazing blizzards
  Wrapped safety
   Around fragile human life.

Difficult Trials -Part 1-

Turn the wheel
Out of curiosity
I'll be generous...you'll receive
Something special...something to make you whole
Though the trials you must run through
Are a great struggle that can easily
Pull you down
And I want to erase your frown

You will feel way better about yourself
Just trust me...take my hand...
I'll encourage you to have a satisfying time
Just for your own liking
We'll be hiking
Those somewhat difficult hardships
Together for eternity
We'll spend time in the future
Together in unity

*******he sea...Let's flee and be free!
LOOK how nice you look!

Trample those insufferable nuisances
That dare put you down
To the sea floor
I'll push them to the core!

Feel free to walk the
Road of Recovery

12-21-12

The end of the world —
I will see you all in hell.
May I rest in peace.

Details | Romanticism | |

Maybe...

May be I was looking for an answer
May be I was searching a separate land
May be you thought I was crazy
That it's not in the sea and sands
May be I'll stare away in the night sky
Finding a star that says it all
May it was right there in your eyes
But help me before I fall...

I'm lost into the eternal depth
I'm too intrigued by the world, my friend
Hold my hand before I loose my faith
There's no love, just an answer that would tell me about the end...

May be it was just my loneliness
May be cause life was such a mess
May be happiness was inside me
That I was just too blind to see
May be you gave me all the reasons
Why things are not so green
May be you tell me that you love me
But I can't just seem to feel.

I am lost into the eternal depth
I am searching for an answer that never existed my friend,
At the end of the road would I find you to be
The one who ever mattered, who understood or loved me?

If I set out to catch the sunbeam
Or find a planet with a happier me
Would you laugh or would you walk with me
It's a quest for the answer hiding in all I haven't seen...

Blue Winter Death

within
the womb
of silent death
where Summer tree's
sway no more

we search each cloud
in muted
promise
in hope
a dream shall climb above

where silent hearts
as blue as death
crawl beneath
a vale no more

I scream of Summer
a hymn of love
And run beyond the wind

before the chill
of night
consume....

within the womb
of silent death
where Summer tree's
sing no more

EYE Don't See -Part 4-

My heart is beating with upbeat delight
You astound me…in every shape and form
My spirit is dancing with unbreakable might
You surprise me…when you take my hand
And pull me outtah my jail-like dorm

And He dismisses me from my solitude…
My eyes are glistening with bliss…
And I’m far from my demise…
Only to find that there’s no need to feel helpless

Why do you spoil me rotten with your fatherly affection?

Just protect me from any harm
Let me make my own decisions…
To see the results in the long run

You prize me as if I’m cherished like your carefree child
You don’t understand – I’m TOO foolish and wild
I haven’t even reached to full maturity
But how eye hope to see myself grow and be set free
From the world’s mayhem
Is there a solution to this problem?

And I’m left with no answer…
My eyes are eager to see…another bright day
And the night is coming to haunt me…
I find myself slowly disappearing from sight…
When will God give me a purpose to fight?
When will He feed me His awesome might?

Just support me…especially during my downfalls
Please answer my calls!

And I’m left to venture off into His path…

Eye can’t escape my terrible nightmares
Consider my calls of acceptance…my grief weighs a ton
Let me pour forth my tears –
Do me a favor and cast away my fears
Steer me away from disorder and confusion

Eye can see you’re making great progress
You’re heading towards a brighter, superb future…

My eyes
No longer witness oblivion
My eyes
Looks beyond the earthly pain…
bEyOnD the affliction

I spot a rope in the distance. . . . .

Push aside the waves…and let me
Grab it this instant!
God feeds me His love…and treats me
Like a newborn infant!

Eye see my Father with brand-new eyes
I feel rare content
And I feel hardly any resentment

Eye
cherish
that
REMARKABLE
moment

EYE OF STORM part II

like an eye of a needle,
so hard to get through.
weather that cripple,
a tale to no end of tomorrow.
center of risks,
urgency of interests.
havoc in the eye of the storm;
above and beyond the call of the norm,
no light at the end of the tunnel of the storm,
passing through the malevolency of times,
flight or strike,
challenge of a fight.
unlimited total of chaos,
unaware of the cause.
unprepared for the lost;
similar to a bad ruse,
no difference in gathering calmly in the storm.

Heartbroken Clouds

Mingle with mounts, wander arid desert sands
seep into seas, lie lone o'er unknown lands
replicate waves of myriad mirrors flowing below
stand on meadows high engulfing green bands
innocent smiling children, gaze in delighted awe
at tufts tickling kites with a feathery fluff claw
the meditating sage atop a peak simply seeks
that all wants, wishes, into this vapour withdraw
stepping stones on the patchy pastel sky
furrowed fields, they fade, and away, they fly
shifting, shrinking, shapeless strewn shreds
white paint stroke streaks hovering high
in ripe time, like truth, they silently freeze
they twist and break with the blowing breeze
or seem darker than lies hidden away
than truth clouded, delayed or unreleased
creeping crimson hues mark presence
climb slow the soft snowy effervescence
as they eclipsed the sun, it lost sunshine
its soul seemed dead, life lost the essence
a sight that reminds of love's fulfilling bliss
this upside-down land that the angel's kiss
afloat on cotton cushions, watch the world amok
running across horizons,floating this abyss
the shadows shielding are so dark, so dead
how the heart and soul shiver in dread
fearing the sunshine shall never return
wishing to merge with the clouds instead
overcast meaning, truth casts a shroud
flashing rage in sparks, thunders angrily aloud
live dreams not fears, crush doubts not hopes
cries the perennially pouring heavy cloud
at times soft clouds meet thundering peers
throwing lightning, thunder, words and fears
tender hurt hearts shatter at the harshness
making broken clouds mourn a million tears

GROWING UP

On the empty floors I am watching the nights roll
flowing in other nights.
Nature's mirror has come to give birth and to destroy
the typhoons are embracing me, an unstoppable power
in my two arms.
Between logic and the holy the notions are lost
I am turning blue inside the sky's blue.
And I return again and again to repay the same sin
upon which my own blood has dropped
and with blood I try for centuries to pay.
My form is drawing circles
-what is your name?-my name is Human.
Can this mortality embrace the darkness?
Can my bare hands hold within them the air?
I was born for the renaissance of colours,
I threw green and yellow at the edge of the horizon,
I painted red the lost dreams of history
and I placed white on all the spots of the sky.
I was born to destroy and I dig pits everyday,
I bury inside them living truths and I cover them with shovel and water.
Be quiet! The seasons are sleeping...
With small knives I carve the corners of the world
until I find the bone to puncture it, deeper and deeper.
Our fears are breaks of the Universe
they are transfered from planet to planet,
they change orbit, while cleaving the clouds.
''Learn how to walk, learn how to talk, learn how to kiss, learn how to leave, learn how to love, learn how to kill"...
Hollow bodies at the mountains top are burning with the flames of redemption.
They carry the same rock everyday, everynight until they reach the end,
the end that doesn't exist.
They fill the glasses with water, the glasses that dont have bottom.
Don't ask me to change the world, you only gave me soil but you have forgotten the water
and with hands dry and dirty I collect time to repay you
for your graces, because there is light and there is darkness, because I stop in front of red and I walk in front of green.
But you don't know, you don't, that I find strenght everyday, since I opened my eyes,
I am preparing in silence and I am clentcing my teeth
because the time will come, when I will throw a big punch at this carton world,
I will tear it up in half and I will see what lies behind,
behind the lie.
Shaken off from my dirty morality
I will touch the sacred redemption
I will wake up from the dream,
I will embrace at last, for the first time, reality.

Distant African Nights

Those Distant African Nights...

1.

The shadows swayed in your candlelit room,

a cool breeze teasing your bare back,

streaks of lightning forked in the Johannesburg night,

as my hands stroked your hair,

kissing your soft mouth,

holding you,

ever so tight.

2.

You whispered that you loved me,

and I kept silent,

the rain fell,
shadows danced,
thunder rolled,

the breeze teased your naked back,

you whispered that you loved me,
as my lips found yours,

the rain washed over our tender nights,

lightning and candlelight,

etching poems on your burnished skin,

yet,

a fear gnawed at me,

deep within.

3.

We parted ways,
and you could never forgive me, you said,

now, after numberless thunderstorms,

the rain that falls,

echo the countless tears that I have shed.

4.

You are long gone,

far away,

happy, I pray,

yet the memories persist,

those precious moments shall never,
ever,

like the Jo'burg rains,
trickle away,

and I wish you well,
for loving me as you did,

for it was I who was not worthy,

then,

and it is I who is not worthy,

now...

5.

You were always true,

it was I who always,

always,

refused to,

to give myself,

completely to you.

The Rebel

Dank, cold, unperturbed indifference,
Untouchable, yet touching all,
Unresolved in meaning,
Still creating each and every fall,
Every whim and leaning.

Touché pas! A cry of weary hate,
And will not accept a helping hand,
‘Till death! Brazen adverse in face of fate,
And alone in piteous stand…

Lone wolf we cry, thy fate is nigh,
Yet stands he still resisting,
That love should die, that only tie,
In error still persisting…

The Sieve of Time

The Sieve of Time

Cast ashore,
along the banks of time,

whirling through the passing years,
clinging to my futile scribbles set in rhyme,

Cast ashore,
thrust into an unrehearsed pantomime,

clenching slivers of joy as weariness descends,
lulled into a peaceful slumber exhilaratingly sublime.

Cast ashore,
hazily adrift, a dandelion seed on the wings of time,

trapped in the sieve of spiralling memories,
caught between pristine bliss, and reeking slime.

Cast ashore,
flung aside for no discernible crime,

my human heart thuds with elusive hope,
though battered, bruised, and covered in grime,

I stagger ashore,

alone,

embracing each moment of detached, oblivious time.

EYE Don't See -Part 1-

My eyes
Pour forth feelings
That I’ve felt in the past
They make my heart ache…
Take it all away…
Oh my God…
They’re making me sink in dismay

When will they break away?
When will they give me a break?

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you hear me weeping?
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace draw near?

Eye don’t see
A happy ending in this scene

My eyes
Journeys into the unknown
Who knows what will happen…
They’re like hidden treasure…
They’re buried far below…

And I’m left in my solitude…
My eye’s weeping…
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace draw near?

Oh my God…
They’re driving me insane
When will they see my reflection?
When will they heal the infection?

Eye don’t feel
Raindrops of hope and relief
All I feel…is grief…
Eye sense no peace…

And I’m left in my solitude…
My eye’s sagging…from endless mourning
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace draw near?

Does He hear
My supplications?
Does He sense
My fear?

My eyes
Conceals the tears that dare to spew out
I feel trapped and lost without a doubt…
They erase my delight…
They seek my hurt…
Oh my God…
They’re casting me away into the perilous sea

And I’m left in my solitude…
My eye’s weeping…
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace throw out my fear?

Eye don’t see
A ship in sight…to save me from my demise
My lifeless body...
Drifts away in the wild ocean...
Without a sound...
Without emotion...

Eye don’t see
A rope to hold on to…
My hope for peace
Has drowned…

Limitless Lust

Introduction: Limit itself has a limit of its own…

A walk, mile after mile
In quest for my lost soul,
I had forgotten how to smile
Everything felt out of control,
I fought too hard to be worthwhile
By that I got lost in my life’s hole

The regrets for mistakes I’ve made
It took me off the edge, way too far away;
Yet I tried again so hard to get off from that shade
But got caught up in my brutal fray,
The same song keeps playing with such a vicious rage,
I find myself down to my knees, nowhere to go - So I pray

A prayer to leave the worst and move onto more,
Come off this fantasy and onto reality, to be -
Closer to something I’ve been fighting for
The touch of the light cutting through the night, it rains down upon me
As I overcome the grief and believe, recovery lies ashore,
Only three steps remain, to be fixed and free.

A lesson of value I earned from my faults -
Never push yourself off the edge,
You’ll lose the only key to the vault
A life you never had to live – It too could forever be lost,
So stay confined within the limits of the limit
As it seems - Your control over lust, only can make you complete.

Sliding Down

I’m hoping for my dreams to become a reality
I’m hoping for a phase of gratitude
I’m rejecting my hopeless fate
I’m accepting your side of the story…but don’t intrude

Unexpectedly, I believe in love in first sight
I grab the rope for extra support
It burns like a vertical line of fire
I’m unable to climb, but I seem too far from my desire

I’m sliding down the rope, hanging from heaven
They’re distraught by my absence
They’re cheering for me from down below
I’m sliding down…

I cherish you like my own belongings
I designed you on my bedroom wall
I have you displayed deep in my heart
Believe me – you’ll never split it apart

Every day I long for your touch – you changed my life around
My heart is blazing like the zealous sun…I prize my freedom and progress
The world is spinning endlessly as I kneel upon my knees
And I imagine the memories we share with each other

I’m sliding down the rope, hanging from heaven
They’re distraught by my absence
They’re cheering for me from down below
I’m sliding down…

When I reflect upon the joyous times,
My heart never fails
To pound vigorously for you
I’m sliding down
I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you

I see the light in your eyes
I don’t see an insidious nature in you…
I wish I hadn't believed in the lies
I never felt like a hopeless victim until I gave in to the darkness

I’m sliding down the rope, hanging from heaven
They’re distraught by my absence
They’re cheering for me from down below
I’m sliding down…

I’m glad I've met you in the first place
We’re a perfect match –
Don’t deny it…you made me feel handsome
We’re on the road of victory
We’re making great progress
We’re hanging on the edge,
But we were rescued
From sliding down…

At least we’re kept ourselves alive……

EYE Don't See -Part 2-

My eyes
Refuse to see tragedy
My eyes
Marinate in dread…unable to embrace ecstasy

And I’m left in my solitude…
My eye’s sagging…from endless mourning
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace draw near?

You don’t see
What damage you’ve done
Just let me be
Leave me alone…hand me a gun

I yearn for unspoiled glory
To make me feel perfect once more
I yearn for flawless serenity
To make me feel no regret…don’t ignore
My calls…don’t hang up on me

You don’t see
What damage you’ve done
Just hear my plea
Listen to my excruciating cries…
Listen to the truth, not the malicious lies
Our journey has just begun

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you hear me weeping?
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…
When will peace draw near?

Eye can’t handle the stress
Let me release my horrendous distress
Eye can see you making that same mistake
At least MY life isn’t at stake

And I’m left in my solitude…
My eye’s weeping…do You feel my lament
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…Stepped on like cement
I’m aching with discontent… I abhor this torment
When will peace scrub off my fear?

I can’t believe my eyes
Your guiltiness flows into me…
I can’t believe I fell for your lies
Your heartless action rape my mind…you don’t see
What my EYES see…

You’ll never see
How much pressure you put me under
Unchain me from this chamber
And watch me flee…

When will you be set free?

Our Divine Haven

This town was the place we used to call our haven
You don’t remember which road we’ve driven on
The stars were shining against your cherished soul
You’re a part of my belongings
You’re ascending above the ground
The peace is still like hidden treasure – it’s bound to be found

I believe in you…I put my faith in you
After the miracles you’ve performed
You don’t agree with what you truly are
The sky is grieving
You jump from puddle to puddle
You’re struggling to meet your destiny
Even if your body is saturated in sweat
You must keep your head above the sea

Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
I could tell you've been stressing out
But rest your head on my shoulders and let loose your strain on me

Each melody is an exquisite sound that bounces into our ears
Commotion and strife will cease and your heart will be free
We’ll flee together…despite the unwholesome weather
The voyage has just begun…hold my hand and we’ll rise like the sun
Trust me…we will be strengthened and well-equipped before we take that road of victory

Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
You’d rather be drifting away and never be seen again
I wanna change your mind and erase your frown
Take your mind off of the distressful past
Let loose your strain on me

Hey! I know you’re stronger than you realize
You’re not a failure – don’t be disheartened
Don’t worry…you and I will earn our future prize
This mess will clear up in a moment
Just stay by my side and never depart
From the light… I promise that we’ll endure till the end
Just stay nearby and our hope won’t tear apart
We are willing to do anything to attain our wishes and delight
Let’s take action and snatch our glory before our time is up

Follow me and I’ll lead you to divine haven
Forgive the past that embraces you with remorse and think upon our jubilant future
It’s tempting to just give up and turn around
You've been trying to keep a steady pace
But rest your head on my shoulders and let loose your strain on me

Let loose your stress on me…
Don’t be under pressure
Let me handle your anxiety…
Reach towards our divine haven
Do you need a helping hand?

I wish you a carefree
Future

Lost and Found -unedited version-

Writing a masterpiece
Takes so much effort and thought
My mind’s settling in my comfort zone – feed me with flawless peace
Words seem to escape me…my feelings mean naught

Anger molds me in inside and out…I feel insecure again
Peace barely meets my body
Joy seems to abandon me like an orphan
Faith passed away – it’s buried too far below the debris

Have I lost the race?

Writing a successful book…writing in general
Takes so much confidence and self-control
My mind is stacked up with debt…
Words splinter my tongue – I can’t repair my tarnished soul

Danger is placed in many corners
Happiness is a few blocks away from me
Fearlessness dives into me
Acceptance of who I am – God’s chosen one

Have I won the race?
Have I found His grace?

Living with Mother Nature's Bruise

We turned to each other when we heard on the news
Our daughters place of work, enduring mother nature's bruise
She worked on an island now swamped with wrath
To her we now travel to retrace her last path

To go there blind never knowing if she breathes
Thoughts think the worst as we subconsciously grieve
Our daughter, our life, as we make plans to depart
Facing hours of torment as our minds tear apart

To this island we head where she enjoys life to the full
Thinking back to her young years, learning in school
This paradise as she calls it, in the Indian Ocean
Our minds picture, her love to live notions

We step of the plane into a world far from home
Praying we find her, dead or alive, to never roam
To the north of the island, Aceh is it's name
Is this where we find her, with no one to blame

We reach the village, it's where our daughter calls home
Teaching the youngsters English along the beaches they combed
We wander dazed and confused, joining the crying and the grieving
Emotional rescuers surround us, they just keep on believing

Hand in hand we stare hoping, as our eyes glimpse the lost
Our daughters not there, as we join the emotional exhaust
Suddenly I feel a tugging on my sleeve
Lady lady, you my teachers mama, come with me please

Looking down, my eyes cascading with tears
A beautiful young girl, momentarily relieving my fears
Lady lady, please please, come with me please
To a makeshift hospital she takes us, our hearts so in unease

To a door we arrive, she cries, mama's teacher mama's teacher
As she is led away by the hospital preacher
We are greeted by a doctor, taken through corridors of death
The relieving earlier felt, now replaced by inner reft

The stench of death drifts, lost souls we feel crying
Resonating sounds echo, the last breaths of the dying
Cubicle after cubicle, every curtain our hearts run
In broken English, is she the one, is she the one

The second curtain from the last, the doctor once again opens
Despair and tears increase, parents lost in their hoping
Before us lies, a broken twisted bandaged soul
The tattoo on her ankle, I cry Nicole, it's our Nicole

Engulfed with emotions our cheeks streaming with tears
Viewing the earlier posters, parents losing their fears
Living this moment, realising their daughter has lived
As we look back to the pictures, knowing families are sieved

Words we will remember until the day we are gone
That moment we heard, is she the one, is she the one

Hannibal

Good listener, please lend your ear
To share my history
Before I take the poison drink,
I’ll tell you my story.

They’re coming even now to take
The city that we love
And hope is often lost and so
My tale i’ll tell you of.

	When Carthage took upon itself
To find by light of day
A general? Well your in luck!
Great Hannibal did say.

He planned to cross the mountains great
Twas thought the only way,
But first to cross the river Rhone,
Great Hannibal did pray

The river Rhone rose up and warned
	Don’t cross my waters grey!
No way to cross? Then all was lost
	Great Hannibal did say

	Then at once stood Hannibal
We’ll cross by th’end of day!? Take down those trees to make a raft
	Great Hannibal did say

Over the water blue they went
	Lined up in an array
And now to Rome and battle great!
	Good Hannibal did say.

Due north he found an obstacle
That willed him to give way,
The northern tribes with battle cries
	Great Hannibal did slay.

The biggest problem now was here
	Across the mountains stray
“Great danger now we face, my men,”
	Great Hannibal did say.

Across the mountains none did think
That they would last a day
Just one more hill or mountain top,
	Great Hannibal would say

The crew were weary lost and torn
That made them curse the day
“But we are almost there, you see?”
	Great Hannibal did say.

And soon enough the walls of Rome
Rose up as if to say
Who ventures here with war in mind?
Come greet us at our gates!

But in the Roman city there
	Scipio here to stay
“No one can beat us, no one can,”
	Great Hannibal did say.

At Rome’s great gates for 15 years
	He waited patiently
We can’t stay here, for food is dear,
	Great Hannibal did say.

So he turned back to Carthage’s gates
	But met along the way
	Scipio and his army great
	Hannibal could not slay

When all was done his quest was lost,
And Rome would live too great,
	A treaty signed so punishing
	That Carthage lost its gate.

	And Hannibal the general
	That lost the city too
Was forced to go to lands beyond
And help as best he could.

Mora Piya Ghar Aaya - My Beloved Has Returned Home

Mora Piya Ghar Aaya (My Beloved Has Returned Home)

Autumn:

the leaves fell, as you left, a bleak chill wafting across the barren space within my being,
you left, taking your smile and mine,
my smile rests with you still, leaving a void impossible to fill.

Winter:

pangs of longing consumed me, my only company in the frigid nights,
my tears remain frozen, within,
unable to fall from my broken eyes, as I searched the depths of the cold, harsh skies.

Spring:

birds returned home, though you did not, and I felt soothing rebirth all around,
memories of you began blazing, their embers stoked,
and at last the tears rolled, like ink on this blank notebook, my whole being pined for you, my very self in anguish silently shook.

Summer:

alive I felt again, the promise of the coming cooling rain, easing the heat of desire,
yet the furnace slowly raged inside, your absence tearing into me, shattering my nights, my longing for you soaring unfettered across the skies,
dancing on clouds, blissfully free,

Monsoons:

heaven itself opened, the deluge an unending dream,
rain falling all around, mingling with my flowing tears,
and then I saw you, you returned, and I embraced you, never wishing to let you go,
and though I may wear the mask of the clown,
if you were to leave again,
my very soul, would quietly slip away, and in the monsoon rains, I would gratefully drown.

Fragment

On through the ripples,
Through the shunts and the brushes,
The flickering chants,
The whispered gloom.
I walked, in a still coldness,
Watching in through the firm, glass panes
Of this pavement I made.
There stood three evil eyes
Perched high with a burning, solemn glare
Clad in black.

I stood with living numbness,
Drowned in the rain;
Exempt from their shelter
But Separate from their cave.

My walk was long,
Soon I saw the clouds part;
I gazed, perhaps glided into the blue depth.
The soulful reflection painted within the bay-shaped sapphire,
Too long had I ignored myself…
Depicting a girl, content in her smile
But mirrored by her counterpart.
I suddenly became aware
How rain and sun fall from the same sky.

The hush of the oak branches,
Passing through the park;
Reminded of the ease of empty summers;
Where my eyes couldn't reach the gate.

I turned a corner to the child’s trumpet,
Hollow with smiles
The off and empty notes
Passed right through me.
Was she, blissfully lost to her tune,
Or lost in the dissection of each note?
Lost in the mimicking of each line?
Lost, so that in the process, the bigger meaning faded.

This world holds its breath
In a struggle.
I step alone,
Across stone and soft earth,
Between kindled mirth:
In this summer losing its youth.
This day, this deep
Meander of thought,
Where I looked at the world to find myself.

Then I was laughing at my difference.

Here is the number to my door,
To The World beyond.

To a Mermaid

At the end of the day
All your tears fade away;
All the stars come to rest,
The horizon now crest.

At the sea, the tide fades
As the sum of these days
Takes its toll on the ground,
Ripped and torn, tattered down.

And I'm here, by your side,
Torn away by the tide,
Trying still not to drown,
Not to fade in the sound of the sea.

But I see you, your eyes
Are the tide of the sea.
As they ebb, so they rise.
Still, they wash into me.

I can cry now no more.
Struck yet speechless, I cease.
In your eye, the tides roar;
I have found my release.

Lost in beauty, in that sea,
Lost in time, I'm lost to me.
Your face has aspect, fearful symmetry.
I find I'm lost for words. I cease to breathe.

And as the tide now tears me down,
It matters not.
My soul has found its rest within these ceaseless tides
That once contained my empty cries.

Captivated by your lips,
My breath is water.
'Neath the whips and scorns of time,
I find my peace.
My soul, content, has found release.

Lost in my emotion,
I found what I could be.
Drowned within that ocean,
My soul's absolved to me.

So have I drowned inside the sea,
Inside your tears, inside of me.
I know now what it is to be
Free.

Port of Call

Port of Call

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

with the breath of the ocean a caressing balm,
soothing pained memories away,
to the swaying of a solitary palm.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

feeling the brushing away of all past turmoil,
on a quest for solace, ever so hard to find,
yet comforted by the crashing of the waves,
as the tide cleanses all pain,
and leaves despair far, far behind.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

drenched in a sea-breeze of mist,
that hushes the ache of bygone moons,
tasting the salty tang on my lips,
as the burnished sun,
over the distant horizon,
swoons,

and dips.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

searching, ever searching,
for a slice of solitude,
as memory bids a final adieu,
reaching under the sea so vast,
and seeking comfort in the depths,
while embracing,
the tomorrows to come,
wishing that they be true.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

seeing my truths drown,
as they slip beneath the turquoise waters,

feeling my heart ablaze,
with a passion that rarely falters.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

yet knowing that I am home at long last,
wishing the waves would wash away,
the defences that once stood,
like an impregnable wall.

Barefoot on a talcum beach,

alone, not lonely,

I have found, at long last,

my final port of call.

Hues to Blues

     Its perfect here.
     I love it.
Here...Peace and serenity fill and warm my heart.
Out here...Its like Im someone else.
     Its so calm.
Its a place where I can finally find myself.
         That was before.
         This is after.
Here it was green and every hue you could imagine.
     Now...Its black and ash.
You knew I loved it so you took it.
     You took it from me.
     I've lost it.
     I've lost myself.
You took this cluster of nature from me.
And with it you took a peice of me.
     With or without you,
     I'm stronger.
     Although its nothing,
     but black ash and smoke,
     I still love it here.
     I will come here
and loose myself as I did before,
     Even though it is after.

Abide in the Light

You abide in the light
I’ll miss you…when you venture off at night
Don’t forget me…
Don’t discard me…
Don’t leave me…

Forgive me for drifting away from you…

Please forgive me…
Please don’t ignore me…
Hear my pleas…don’t turn the other direction…
Run with me…into heaven’s light

I’ve given you my soul…
I’ve shared with you my melody
I’ve fed you until you were full…
I’ve healed you when you were under the weather…
I’ve tried to bring us back together

You hang on the rope of hope
I’ll rely on you…I’ll cling to you…
You saved me from subsiding into the obscure abyss

Don’t reject me…
Don’t depart from me…
Don’t release me…

Respect me for who I’ve become
Please respect me…
Honor my presence
Protect me from any sort of harm
Is it in your nature to relieve my anguish?

I’ve been driven away by my affliction
I’ve set you free from Egypt…and lead you to the Promise Land
Have you forgotten my affection?
I’ve tried to empathize what you’re going through – I’ve gave you a helping hand
Don’t you understand? Will you ever understand?

You abide in the light
I’ll miss you…when you depart from my heart
Don’t forget me…
Don’t discard me…
Don’t mourn for me…

Forgive me for wishing for your absence…
Please forgive me…
Please don’t give up on me…
Hear my side of the story… don’t turn the other direction…

I’m still training for perfection

Run with me…until we arrive at home
Hold my hand and we’ll take divine flight
I’ve cherished you for so long
I’ve lead you to my home town –
Do you remember where you and I belong?

I’ve given you my trust…
I’ve shared with you my dreams
You’re an apple to my eye

You were my angel of grace, promising concord –
Bestowing blessings upon me
Your vitality never wears off…

You were my lamp –
Glowing with serenity and elation
Tranquilizing my mind from despair and unease

I’ll never regret…meeting you that magnificent night
I knew that that was love at first sight
The moment you stepped foot into the light

Saturday Rain in Johannesburg

Saturday Rain in Johannesburg…

…With sighs of torrential passion,
the heavens shower teardrops,

weeping with me,
as memories of you come cascading back,

skin on skin, ablaze,
moist kisses, fiery,
gentle whispers of undying love, murmured,

in another life, another time,

far removed from my present, a desolate state of despair,
wallowing in the grime.

…

The rain keeps falling,
each teardrop stinging my face,

tasting the salt on my lips,

I wonder, do you still remember the caresses of my fingertips,

between breathy confessions, and vows of eternal love,

before you left me, stranded on an island of solitude,

wounded as a wingless dove,

bereft of life,
stripped of all traces of fortitude

A Melancholic Blaze

The wolves race through the woods...
A melancholic night breathing...
The moon weeping its elegant light...
As I drown in the lake of uncertainty...

A prodigious night...
Procreating melancholy...
A deceiver at command...
Portraying images of the divine...

The nature decaying to the bizarre setting...
As the wolves howl at the night’s mystical descend...
And as my heart cries a disheartening reverie...
The river turns venomous at the cheerless call...

The wolves pursue the divine call...
The eerie wind deceives their ears...
Far ahead I see a shadow of the pure...
But as I approach...the shadow is razed by the prevalent obscurity...

The winter birds seem to be early...
Nesting in the putrefied tree...
The venomous river appears frozen...
As a chilling breeze stings the heart...

A prodigious night...
Procreating melancholy...
A deceiver at command...
Portraying images of the divine...

The last few hopes seem to deaden...
As a cloud seems to darken the elegant moon...
And the heart craves for her warmth...
As the flowers anticipate the monsoon...

Why is it that her radiant shadows appear?
When illumination ceases to exist...
A bird rests on my shoulder...
And sings mantras of eternal hope...
An assurance of support...
And guidance...as the melancholic night descends...

The wolves howl to the infinite sky...
...And the lamentation of a lost soul...
Overpowered by their howls...
As the melancholic fire burns on...

The lamentation of a lost soul...
Forever lost...

...And as I close my eyes...
The setting transforms to “heaven”
Where flowers are vivacious...
...And nature rejoicing the start of spring...
...As I lay in her arms...
The panorama vivid as ever...

A panorama...
That subsists within the broken heart...
And a last few dead branches...
The winter bird collects to complete its nest...

And now all is at rest...
Silence is what subsists eternally...
The lamentation of a torn heart
Ever so callous...

...As he putrefies eternally...
...In a Melancholic Blaze...

Faith Healer

The odor is intolerable
Like a foul beast clinging to the end
I can barely subdue its subterfuge
But here I am,
I’m standing here of sound and mind
Waiting for the time that answers my own questions

Can it race with the fires of Orc?
Doubtful, but it can jog steadily can’t it?
The weather is awful, filled with sounds
Penetrating a document not written
It pains me to fight through the night
Not because it’s dark, but because I am just a shadow.

Lester drives but
Motional lasts forever
Still driving
Still crying
And slowly dying as time waves on
Like oceans that can’t be seen.

Nobody cares and everyone listens
Ironic, like a bible that holds lies and deception
Can its will be pierced?
Can freedom stay free?
Is it worth it to stay hooked when everyone around
Seeks liberty?

midnight pearl

Deep in your “midnight pearl” I have immersed & lost myself, Without you I yearn to be immersed & lost again all by myself. Forever ...lost in you, Aimlessly I wander around seeking with my thirst full wish, to be silently quenched sought. I wander & wander, On time's brink I dwell now, my lonely vigorous thrusts to sublimely surrender. Within your “midnight pearl” I lose myself now, Without you I find myself wanting & yearning to be lost again some how... Forever ...lost in you..... If I could have you every time I thought of you, Both of us would lose ourselves every now and then to churn passions anew. Alas my dreams about you & you, Seem to elude me, but my love for you will always be true. Will rises again and again from unfathomable depths of my hearts silently without a hue. Jungle Trek, Never Again

Jungle Trek, Never Again

Tramping in the jungle where almost everything eats on me
sweat oozes out of my brain like running sap from a tree
This special hot hell that the devil must have made
hotter than hell even when resting in a convenient shade

Tossing aside weight just to insure I can get out
everything eats meat from a specially fanged mouth
Tiring and scared now must toss away my comforting gun
deeply regretting this solo Safari I hoped to be great fun

As you read these words you know I eventually got away
if ever tempted to find such adventure this I must say
Do so with knowledge in the jungle nothing wants to play
everything is vicious, hungry and seeks to eat and slay

chase

One day it’ll come to me
One day it’ll be mine
One day it’s so empty
And one day it’s all fine

Lovely as it may seem
It’s a killer in disguise
Chasing the absent
Albeit the signs

With borrowed passions
And blurred visions
Rises the monster
Of my flawed perfections

Tapping to the cacophony
Of success, I shine
Choking the melody
Of that truly divine

Found In The Trees...

if you were lost in the trees

would you just wander about

and embrace the enticing breeze

and stop trying to figure it out

would you lay down in the leaves

and watch the shadows lengthen

with the air falling in degrees

as the glow of the stars would strengthen

so if you are ever lost in the trees

just forget that you had something to do

because it will be moments like these

when you find the path inside of you

When I was one
I stared at the sun
And although I lost my seeing
It felt like fun

When I was three
I drank chlorine
And although I lost my tasting
It felt serene

When I was five
I took a dive
And although I lost my smelling
It felt alive

When I was seven
I played a violin
And although I lost my hearing
It felt like heaven

When I was nine
I took a line
And although I lost my feeling

The Swaying of the Grass

1.

A path leads,

to where wild grass grows,

sashaying in the summer breeze.

2.

Along the path,
lightness settles within,

feeling the grass,
swooning,
tickling ankles,

swaying to the lilting bird-song,

in a dance of intimate abandon,

brushing the remnants of pain away.

3.

Melodies float across fields of green,

delicately caressing my heart,

teasing emptiness to flee,

comforting the mind,

to silently be.

4.

Walking on,
savouring the peace,

a momentary respite,
from the burdens of the now,

all is quiet,

a stillness cradling fractured emotions,

the grass in the fields sway,

dusk descends,

shadows lengthen,

nudging dimming light to take leave,

of the day

Truth Begins at the Corner

Remember to always make sure to bless the days that you are given, because they are few, and beauty only lasts so long!
Hold tight my fair wonderer, your day will come. I will be with you again.
The lost soul of your childhood still roams the crevices of your forgotten past.
The unrestrained faith in the wonders of the woods, the vastness of the cosmos, and the darkness of the night still lingers beneath the rough waters of maturity and age.
Come with me again my friend and lose yourself in the joy of the unknown, the unplanned, and the chaos of a life on fire! I can take you there, if only you let go!
Be with me, take part of me with you, and feel the self that we are. Perfect in spoiled admiration of instincts lost since the time I awoke without you.
The id consumes you with a savage passion, while the ego ever so gently licks the tears from your wounded breast.
My mind strives to unbutton the layers of worldly impurities until I reach your core. Pure as the first light we accepted into our virginal eyes.
Wrapped in body and blindness, our forms ached as we accepted this gift. As we unfolded into light, a passionate awakening of nature stirs the breath and frightens the senses, the initiation of spirit begins.
I long to stay. The only I there is in this ephemeral abyss. I loathe all blessings bestowed upon my eye, but the light penetrates with ruthless contempt for all we have created, harshly illuminating the disparities of night and day, nature and nurture, love and death, you and I.
I curse the light, and in desperation implore for the beginning to come to an end. For now I see you, and now I know…...you never were.

When Wolves Cry

Out there,

   across the frozen tundra,

   the wilderness place ----

   the ancient song sings;

   returning,

since the birth of wood and glade,

When lakes fell from the sky ----

   the first time,

   the first kiss:

   a howl at the moon

Gather the night, the silver night,

of moon glowing a shimmering song,

   gather her woodland children

   to the twilight opera;

   bring sleeping peace ----

   bring on the howling minstrel

The night dreamed well

   while sleeping souls slept;

the piper played in the hills,

   midst tree-land burrows,

   gentle tumbling vale,

   'tween the flowing springs ----

   crying love

His love for her,

    it sang,

    would she cry?

Would she answer?

And she did:

howling across the steps of time,

   he was yonder ----

   too far to kiss,

But too close to lose his love again,

to say: ' I love you'

   (when wolves cry)

THE THING THAT WAITS

Silence lives in those places
no one ever visits except by accident,
coming at the end of words and vows -
the wrong turn on a windless night
that forces you to stop somewhere
you fear you can’t be found, some
place never written down on maps.

This is the silence… the thing that waits
between the screams of a zillion cicadas
in suicide season, holding its breath until
the hot buzz stops all at once, and
nearly topples us over into dust.

Before the wet, the mangoes hang & drop,
out of sight of human ears. There is no sound
silence does not hear, even when
no one’s listening. This is the silence Silence is:
the shout-less shout, the essential word
without which there can be no words at all.

A LOVELY TOWN UNDER HEAVEN

While in the prime of my adolescence,
I left a lovely town under Heaven...
the sleek palm trees swayed softly
and the perfume of the stooping orange trees
sweetly entered into my nostrils;
I had no time for tears, only an uttered goodbye...
friends and neighbors cried,
wishing me immense fortune!

In my naiveness, I didn't see any sadness
and hoped to find my new home
under another Heaven...a town
never lurking in complete darkness,
because every star came out
in full luminescence to insure me I wasn't alone....

I walked other streets much longer and wider,
thinking of the old clock-tower
overlooking the busy square where folks chattered
and sipped their cappucino or espresso
with an incredible gusto;
I wandered among glass and steel skycrapers,
searching for twinkling stars,
but I found none that glittered!

A lost traveler...weary and stranded,
not found by anyone on roadways,
standing at crossroads and making hard choices;
a fortune-seeker never finding his treasure intact,
envisioning an elusive concept
at the cost of an unconceivable regret!

Time has finally lost its grip on me,
allowing me to free myself of its captivity..
making clarity even brighter than perception:
to anxiously see me walk in that town under Heaven,
and to hold in my trembling palms
the velvety petals of falling roses!

My Grass in the Desert

The midnight magic sprinkles in the air.
I can hear the every breath that you take.
Closing my eyes I am so lost to any existence.
This moment is mine that I create.
So very, very much I am content!
My soul is engaged with such a paradise.
I am aimlessly there.

Ah yes! Yes indeed,
You are my grass in the desert and I am so very, very near.
The glitter is everywhere,
I can breathe the every breath that you take.
Closing my eyes I am so lost for time.
This moment is mine that I make.
So very, very much I am entwined.
My soul is entangled with magic so sublime,
I am without a single care.
Yes, yes, yes!

You are my grass in the desert and I do often come there.
The radiance I stand and bear.
I can touch the every breath that you take.
Closing my eyes I am so lost without a cause.
This moment is mine that I partake.
So very, very much I am lost.
My soul is entangled in this web of mine,
I am so very, very much there.

I am lost in time.
Ah yes, yes, yes indeed!
You are my grass in the desert and I am here to share.
Blossoms are blooming everywhere planting the harvested seeds.
My grass in the desert is all that I will ever need, even when so desolately bare!

By a running stream

by a running stream of fables and dreams
firefly beams
its not always what it seem
bewildered bejoyed
caught in a void walk with me to the stream you'll see
everything that lives and breathes
god gave to you and me
he neslted me here with you
down the stream washed away my blue
your eyes gaze lost in the haze
stay
your lips whisper my way
Love I say
thanking god for you each day
If I should be lost somehow
im not long nor far
maybe wishing on a star
Near a running stream
is where I'll be
overthere above and beyond
pass the lily pond
hearing an angel song
the sunlights gleam
is a fairys dream
overthere by a running stream,
near a waterfall , where daffodills grow
palm trees flow
this place yours you know
but never go
come dont hesitate
if you come don't be late
no, not by the lake
foregoodness sake
forever I wait
you know the place just in case
you came too late god couldnt wait
but when its time, me you'll find
holding the key
a fairytale scene
ontime or late
over here by heavensgate
fate

my POOR dog keeps a crying

My poor dog is crying in the wilderness
lost sight of his master and the rest of kin
Wagging and scratching to leave for safer haven
Barking in the nights
Whining during the days
He lost the lease around the neck
Why does it refuse to lie down and whisper

WHY SHOULD I GO ON AND LIVING,WHAT THE HECK?!

Old bones of the 20 year old collie
When will the Children come back
to play like happiness of jolly
It wanders through the infested forests
Eating fallen berries to keep the breath still breathing
The sun goes down in early set
This little pooch still hasn't found his bearings as yet

Evening is quite chilly, even for the warmth in Fur
A faint gentle moan as if to ward off the night creatures, just beginning to stir
An animal that has a brain to find a way out..of this Canadian Plain
I should have made sure that he was safe and secure while we were
sleeping in our tent
Then he broke his chains and quickly sauntered went
We cried for a 24 hour raindrop that is sad, sweet, and filled with regret
Thinking ever constantly:WILL WE EVER FIND HIM AS YET?!

Before I lay me down to sleep
My thoughts, a prayer, to the little lost and lonely sheep
Please
find your way
home again!!

THE DOMINANT

(For Horses or Snowflakes or Horses and Snowflakes contest Theme: horses and
snowflakes. Sponsor:Constance ~ A Rambling Poet ~ my name: Valeria Iliadou)

He reached the slope of lost dreams.
Mountains and snow twisting
like a veil
around shadows heavy and insisting.
He watched the clouds change form,
becoming the echo of his breath.
Slope of lost words.
Somewhere between heaven and earth,
he stood behind the white quietness
and whispered:''Close your eyes, unreachable sky!
Everyone who dies,remembers.
To the open sea of infinity let me fly!''
And like that, without shoes, without redemption
rolled on the snow. He reached the white cliff
and came back. If he fell, he would reached the top.
White convictions floated on the snow.Only if
time was more than a heavy diversion!
Horses of freedom were travelling with him
among snowflakes and naked trees of passion.
Their steps were leaving traces like a phantom limb,
stating all these passages which formed the seasons' conscience.
The white river was floating with a constant row
like the weapon that has even another bullet inside.
''Pull the trigger!Do it!'' His scream was the only blow.
The journey of destiny was interrupted over the icy road.
So he made his own.
Returning the time that he borrowed,
he changed his Thursday and left for the unknown.
Now he is looking from the top of a white world
the glass doors of others, throwing stones to break them.
He reached the abyss of purity, as an Edenic mortality on hell.
He was the Dominant. Nothing left to judge, nothing to condemn.

TRIALS OF STRUGGLES

trial of my pains that hurts,
leaving me only to comply with no disclosure.
never ending unwanted choices of solutions;
better not having one at all,
sometimes to much to behold.
crisis of unwanted tears,
left for nobody to witness.
too personal to ask for help on you own,
like your pride is ruling over you.
trying not to always frown,
limited by the resources you got.
not to mention;
limited knowledge,
that has bigger than life fantasies of illusions,
with even more limited intelligence,
cramped with unwanted mirage of self' righteous imagination.

STARS TWINKLE

 Stars twinkle
Will remain but not hustle bustle
Slept for long while
Stars twinkle
With lighted purple.
Moon faded when time passes.
Now see to dawn when time comes.
Star twinkles somewhere in the meantime at bay.
Star will not be lost only for long while of day.
Sun rises at east.
Move to west.
Sun sets for a long while.
But not lost in the sky at night only for while.
Planets will be there with hilarious.
Site will be seen with alteration of happiness.

Haiti: Dreams Betrayed Beneath the Sun

Haiti: Dreams Betrayed Beneath the Sun

Our “Mother Earth” has filled her graves; dread stays.
Entrapping thousands in her hungry jaws.
She quivered with her deepest rage, oh, day.
And from her belly under seas roars cause.

Spitting fire, destroying, homes; thus stealing breath.
Disaster bound its heart to tears affright.
Rescuers search the rubbles heaped with … Death.
She killed the young and old with just one bite.

Gone; children ripped from parents while they played.
And Old folks lost in thought found not their stay.
In moments those that lived had passed away.
Now destitute, survivors to God pray.

The rich and poor together work, none tire.
Will hopes and prayers revive their stolen days?
The rescued, shocked, and dazed reap horrors’, ire.
Life lost beneath debris turns to a blaze.

The world looks on with wonder, all amazed.
Resilient, pained, some brave survivors’ fight.
For tragedy had thrust death’s dreadful phase.
But human strengths arose to face their plight.

As help from other lands aid dreams betrayed.
Reminding all who lived that we are one.
United humans, tasting dread; strength stayed.
Compassion, peace, and love beneath the sun.

The Deluge

The Deluge.

finally the deluge

skipping in rhythmic heartbeats
the softly sprinkling rain

hums and lulls and cajoles and comforts
the weary evening

glistening leaves
on beaming trees

blades of grass shimmer
like rough diamonds strewn about

and settling in my heart
is the softly lilting touch
of peace
of truth

of the rain clearing away
the debris of this passing day

Bear Creek Valley

The pin oak leaves, from dormant trees,
Fall on this crisp autumn morn,
As I paint the scene, of an artists dream…
In my mind this landscapes born.
The patch work green, is this valleys scene,
With broken squares of chocolate earth,
Where I look across the Bear Creek flowing,
To the rising of Mount Worth.

From the autumn cold, red, brown and gold,
Blotch the maples three pronged leaves,
There's the tussock grass, in a swampy pass,
Close where the Bear Creek weaves.
From terrain seams, these gully streams,
Flow in drains beyond the girth,
Where I look across the Bear Creek flowing,
To the rising of Mount Worth.

Gold finches sung, on a fence wire rung.
Flit to feed on winter grass.
Starlings circle and whirl, land as wings furl.
A Raven caws, as it fly's past.
Cotoneaster berries quiver, cause of the shiver,
Is a White Eye warbling its mirth,
Where I look across the Bear Creek flowing,
To the rising of Mount Worth.

The fence lines straight, broken by a gate,
Each side of the cattle lane.
There is easily seen, a different green,
Where a paddocks rested again.
The sound of a pump, starting up,
Drives water to a cattle trough berth,
Where I look across the Bear Creek flowing,
To the rising of Mount Worth.

From milking sheds, cows bow their heads,
Grazing on the lush full grass,
Two Shellducks glide, side by side,
Ever lower as they pass.
Poplar trees, having lost their leaves,
Stand idle till a spring rebirth,
Where I look across the Bear Creek flowing,
To the rising of Mount Worth.

Undulating slopes, where the pine tree copes,
Surround the scar of a quarry's gash.
There's the natural bush, that survived the push,
Below the mighty Mountain Ash.
A corner stacked, of silage wrapped,
Prepared for a winters dearth,
Where I look across the Bear Creek valley,
To the rising of Mount Worth.

My eyes they seek, the mountain peak,
Denied by the misty cloud,
First gum trees, welcome the breeze,
That moves the cloud mass out.
The sun shines bright, to brilliant light,
Till shadows drift across again,
This time more gray, so much closer…
Mount Worth is lost behind the rain.

Snowfall

In a small hamlet people were outside their dwellings staring up at a heavy black sky,
Wind lashed the trees and front doors a big storm was about to happen and very soon,
Small ice flakes whipped up in the wind stinging eyes I had a big dewdrop on my nose,
After some time the blackened sky opened the winds raged and the snow began falling.

Like a roaring bear gusts of winds blew the nearby sea sending salty spray to join snow,
The wind sweeping across the land fiercely blowing gales loosening objects in its path,
An old man curled up against his fire heavy snow swept under his door and over his eaves,
As snow started to fall harder the flakes were huge swirling in blustery bitter cold winds.

That night was so cold every one went to collect logs for a fire smoke rose from chimneys,
Figures seen in silhouette behind lighted icy windows, doors were bolted the eaves blocked,
Friends gathered in each others houses sipping wine their singing muffled by high winds,
The worst storm that many could recall elders told stories of bigger storms tongue in cheek.

All night long snow fell in the morning villagers went outside to see the damage caused,
The sun shone with such brightness the blue sky and the carpets of snow hurt their eyes,
Icy snow was very deep and big white chunks of frozen snow stuck to bottoms of shoes,
A tall tree stood in the middle of the hamlet heavy lines of snow bent its tough boughs.

Stories circulating round firesides of travelers lost in great drifts on wild moorlands,
Wanderers that had perished, frozen in the deep snow all lost in the snow laden woods,
In the morning the snows stopped bringing sunny clear skies that shone like lapis lazuli,
The wind whistled blowing top snow into a fine spray leaving a surface frosty and hard.

There was a wonderful feeling walking along hedge-tops and across deep white valleys,
All now filled and level, the frozen mass crunching under heavy steps in snow boots,
Finding only the rivers showing themselves by their wintry hues amid trees and rocks,
Visitors from the north the red wings, thrushes and field-fares flew back to their homes.

A Man Is Lost

I twist my speech to seem, and be, as white and spotless bone.
Silence 'flecting, like a mirror, on the wall to show
man, so hypocrite and liar. This is who we are.
Man! The curse of sin has brought you far,
into the pits of lusting pyre. Engulf our spirit's flame.
Set afire desire for spit and skin,
bitter sweat, blood, and orifices.
The dawning of Aquarius. The sun has set on Pices.
This crooked generation, like as Sodom and Gomorrah.
As that faithful Lot, I am, and live amongst the tares.
My neighbors live and speak as I, when I can find no faith.
I guilty of the same as they, the Scripture saith.
I e'er be found in heaven... it be not that I am good.
Nor can I love God enough to trust Him as I should.
My own love and faith is full of fault and fear.
My faults and fears, my sin, is loud and clear.
If Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
impute not Life, a man is lost.

St. Elmo's Fire

The day burns, the night turns
The world still fades away
The sun sets as my regrets
Are left inside of me

A cloud forms, a world storms
All else still fades away
I'm lost here, with only fear
My soul could never stay

And suddenly, all nature cries
The night fades in the empty skies
And I know beauty, I know pain
My world has faded once again

The lights spark, the life's dark
My eyes are scarred again
The night drifts, my soul rifts
As all is lost to rain

I'm transfixed, the clouds, mixed,
Confound all I have seen
I'm lost now, and know how
The night is what I've been

Once more, I see all nature cry
And deep inside my inner eye
The darkness sparks the question,
Why the soul could never die

A Voiceless Woman Speaks

You really think you've beaten me?
You really think you've won?
You decided to just crucify me,
As you had God's supposed son.

You thought you'd gotten rid of me?
You thought you'd set yourselves free?
You thought you'd really gotten to me but,
I am tranquil, tranquil as a tree.

I am great like the canopy,
Strong, immense, tall, and thick.
But you are an iota of nothing,
You've lost you natural beauty,
You are lower than that of a stick.

I'll open my mouth to scream at you,
With the force of a thousand winds,
Stomp, stomp, and kick things down,
I could shake the earth even.

I'll drown you in an ocean,
To the deep dark waters below,
IT"S YOUR FAULT. IT'S YOUR FAULT. IT'S YOUR FAULT.
The way you've made mother's tears flow.

I am hot, and I am angry,
I have begun to start changing form.
About to have a meltdown you see,
After that, then come the storm.

I'm going to strike you down like lightning,
There is no escaping me,
Than I'll give a thunderous roar,
All the while, I am tranquil, tranquil as a tree.

You've forgotten one big thing my friend,
One truth, lost among your corrupted kin,
The truth I'm about to tell you is,
Nature. Always. Wins.

Loss of life

Loss of life.............

When the faith is lost in the heaven
Then the peace will become an enemy in our soul
When the love is lost in our heart
Then the nature of behavior become full of sins
When the knowledge is lost in the school
Then the ??s future will suffer from wisdom
When the kindness is lost in the nation
Then the people of the nation become immoral
When a home is lost its brightness of life
Then the family will suffer from mantle agony
When the nature is lost its beauty
Then the pleasant green pastures become like a dessert land
When all those prayers are kept away from God
Then the tears of life can not be cured

Fields Forever

Until the end, I fight
I fight until the light is no more
and the perilous night does begin
& when my day is gone & future masked
I climb my mountain with head hanging low
Low for now, I killed and desecrated all held sacred
Slain the last foe & as the day breaks again
I gaze at fields of red fury
Fury misunderstood all dead to understand
Mountains ahead and behind, in this valley of
Presence. Engulfed by injustice and punished
In personal strife, I cry,
not out but in I cry to hear
inside, inside where I've tried to hide
and defend on this field of red
with no more to hide & more to
hide from. I perch on this mountain I've made
& expose myself to all, with none to tell
I'm free, lost to live, lost to die
Never to love, never to fly. Only wallow for
It turns to night and shadows comfort me my friends
Till the end

Wallney Oak

To hold, as twere, the mirror up to nature
To touch its bark and watch its leaves depart
As if the tree has somehow lost a wager
And with that loss, it somehow just lost heart

A friend thought I should write an ode
To this old tree on Walney Road
This mighty oak that cast a shade
Before the white man did invade
That saw the Indians depart
Back when Lord Fairfax had his start
That saw the settlers clearing land
Who somehow let this oak tree stand
And stand, it stood 300 years
It heard our laughter, heard our tears
It stood there through our Civil War
As Union troops went door to door
It’s known that soldiers set up camps
And on its branches, hung their lamps
Then when this country lane was paved
They placed a curve, this tree they saved
A landmark for those living near
This oak tree that we held so dear
But lightening strikes and driving wind
Have brought this oak tree to its end
Then suddenly one day we found
The county brought this oak tree down
Where once this mighty tree did sway
We’ve naught but memories today

When none opened

When all the doors were closed
I never stopped living my life
But I made friends with the cold winter
Which embraced my once burning heart desire
I was so fortunate to rub shoulders with gully winds
That made sweet sounds to my bruised sharp ears.
When complaining caused no pain to my wrinkle skin
The joy of the stars lights my dark side life.
I never stopped living but kept pace with torrent rains
The rain drops cleansed my opened sores with hope
In the times of gossips
I seek for good stones that will never break any bone.
Still when the doors could not open I wandered like a dark horse
I knocked to the moon that looked shy with its bear beauty surrendered to me.
I finally found comfort to the rising sun which released the trapped dew
The sun presented me with gold glowing so bright that I turned blind for minutes.
When all doors opened mine was earth and everything on it.

Katrina

What happend? Is the thought we have brewing
When she hit the beach con strewing

Things around this way and that
Grounded the homes and made them flat.

I lived in Pascagoula at one time
Before this wretch had made her mind

I lost few for I am single and broke
but my companions cry, sniffle, and choke

To think their families are there in pain
while we are out to sea is hard to constrain

Tempers flare and words are flames
Cursing each other and calling names

Once in port the fathers, husbands, fiances flee
To find their lost and broken family

Castles battered or taken by force
waterlog and drowned the family horse

Murder and rape have come after the destruction
Satans weaving his path of corruption.

Save the children is all I hope for
They deserve no part in heaven and hells war

Bodies lay strewn across the land
She had no favor woman or man

My last words hopefully burn your desire
To help the victims of this tragedy inspire!

Mother Of Waters

Mother of Waters
you're peace and tranquility;
how I long to be as free.

Oh Mother of Waters,
mighty! untroubled, and true!
change me to be just like you.

You have given us life
then have taken it away...
seen battles lost and won
through the nights until the day.

But who can say
what controls your silence?
And who can say
what commands your violence?

Sweet Mother of Waters
graceful, mystic, serene...
who can know what you have seen?

You have given us life
then have taken it away...
seen battles lost and won
through the nights until the day.

but who can say
what controls your silence?
And who can say
what commands your violence?

Dear Mother of Waters,
great mirror of the dusk and the dawning...
calming, soothing, everlasting...
how I long to be as free!

Change me to be just as thee.

The Great White Shield

Held prisoner under His Stars,
I have fallen under the shadows of THE “Great White Shield”.
At a distance, those shimmering lights covered over me.
Built on THE highest plains, I stand parallel even when His rains come down.
My wall stands tall as my fate is promised and sealed.
I see my passage through time as I hold sturdy to my only God given ground.
I am all that I know I can ever be.
Confined by a little world where all that there is has been lost or found,
My bleeding wall holds my “ ALMIGHTY’S Great Armored White Shield“.
Balanced with time even when His rains are pouring down!
It stands to serve and to protect the best of the living me.
Layer by layer it builds with the strength it has lost or found.
For, I am all that is genuinely real.
Conditioned by my endurance, His Stars my eyes still can see.
Ruling the way that I move, His existence is wrapped tightly and I abound.
Parallel on His plains, a sturdy wall I did gradually help Him build.
My wall protects the only person inside of me.
I secure my only ground as I hold onto His “Great White Shield”.
I am all that I have ever truly found.
When the rains pour down on me,
I stand atop of all His battled ground.
When I am all with my realest deal,
I am all that can or will be found.
When I am all that I know I can ever be,
I carry a strength that alone I can build.
I am the carrier of my Almighty’s Great White Shield”.

NOSTALGIA

Idyllic memoirs of my boyhood days
I have lost into thorny hedges of my
native village where now
sprawl of concrete
jungle stands.

Hedgehogs, hares and squirrels
no longer scurry through the
fallow fields and the packs
of wolves which used to roam
unhindered on grassy lands
have been hounded into
extinction by rude rattle of trucks

I still grope for the herb with
which my father used to cure eczema
and I am at loss to spot the creepers
that purges toxins through diueresis
How can I revisit that lost pastoral
village which I left a decade
ago to settle in town?

TWO LOST CLOUDS DRIFTING OFF...

We're two lost clouds drifting off,
not knowing their destination;
will someone give us
a sense of direction?

For quite some time,
in chimerical rhyme,
we ride these familiar skies,
sending rain and storms
down to earth's surface
with such a spiteful mood...
until we feel full!

We dislike the presence
of cheerfulness and brightness,
and infuriate the clover
and daffodils fields,
or even the ingenious parrots
that transform their notes
into cantabile and joyful lyrics;
we burlesquily watch the hungry butterflies
hardly descending on any flower
to pick, with labor, their delightful pollen!

We're two lost clouds drifting off,
carefree and unaware of what occurs
below us...as if we're not a part
of this wonderful creation in which all exalt;
only superficial and nonexistent,
nonemotional and so obstinate!

A Child is always a child

I never preferred my dad,
He always objected me,
He doesn’t like my company,
He argues on my smoking and alcohol,
Also minds my late night parties.

But I felt as a puppy at home,
I opposed him and always cried,
This is my life, I know better than you,
You know nothing; he shut the door roughly,
And went out for a while.

Mum always supported me.
She bought new clothes,
Jewellery, make up dressings,
She curled my hairs and taught me,
How to use lipsticks and eyebrows?
I was totally young,

It seems nice when someone praised me,
But dad argues, this is my learning age,
I don’t need a company of adults.
You need better caring.

But I mind, he behaves why as me enemy?
I failed to understand him,
He was a responsible parent.
He was trying to build my future,
He found it very later when I dig me in the hell.

I was only a child when I got a baby girl,
I lost my freedom and best opportunities,
Burden loaded me sick.
My boy friend never accepted me a partner,
He was already married.

When my father asked me for abortion,
I abused him a killer, first time,
He said to me, one day you will repent,
This is your terrible mistake.
You lost your path before to walk.

I want to be a Mum,
I never imagined, what is it responsibility?
Why dad objected me, always,
I am a chain smoker and alcoholic,
He never came back to encourage me.

Mad Monkey

Mad Monkey

The last summer
The last breath of the world
The last leaf
Has fallen
Bud open
Will not return
From the fell
Chain saw

The arms and roots
Branches filigree
Lungs
Breath no more
Of life
Continuous

Mad monkey

Set a fire in your house
Plagiarise the healing mists
As commonplace
Throw your misunderstanding
Into the briar patch
And hang from the bow
The gaunt edifice
Of fraudulent civilizations empire

The last piece of the puzzle
In the jigsaw of denial
Grabs its placatory moment
And sucks through the straw
Its sweet tasting milk shake

Impoverished soil
The last winter
The final gust
Of clean air
Wilted flower
Suffocated

Mad Monkey

Chokes on gratifications
Plethora of extinction
Tosses inconsequential litter
To the ground
Of its own foot prints
Poisoned
By its own greed
For life

The lost summer
The lost breath of the world
The fatal leaf
Is falling
Open bud
Can not return
From the fell
Chain saw

Of time

Beyond the Garden Door

There in the garden of my dreams
beyond the wooden door;
so close and yet so far it seems;
as if upon a distant shore.
I can not help but look inside
at what I've left behind.
It's where my broken dreams have died
and where new hope I find.
When all things lay upon my soul
back to this door I roam.
In gardens of my mind I'm whole
it's where I feel at home.
When I've lost reasons to care;
the garden reminds me.
Within each blossom; somethings there
to wake the dreams in me.
Although the door must at times close
hope lingers in my mind;
I might not see the garen rose
but it's not left behind...
The simple, silent solitude
allows my heart to think.
Such serene strength it can exude
whenever I might sink.
So, there beyond the garden door
I leave my tears and pain;
my future still yet stands before
and I can take the rain.
Naught grows behind the garden door
if not a tear may shed.
I would be lost forevermore
if all my dreams fell dead.

Untitled #184 / 3:35 p.m.

3:35 p.m., Thursday afternoon
school’s just let out, and everyone’s joyful for the long weekend.
Here I pause, outside the vocational building at the summit of the hill
where I have been many times before, but never in the past three years.
Giant yellow leviathans still roar by, spewing dust
and carrying cargoes of lost souls, just as they did when I rode one of them to
school
on my first day of sixth grade. Now I’m a senior in high school, and
soon I will leave all of this behind physically, though spiritually I be gone already
perched high above, I feel as if I have transcended my peers,
each the consummation of some love long since past,
who even now laugh, smile, and carry on as they scurry into their cars and drive
off.
How happy they seem! How full of life! How innocent!
But they are so far
						away!
Right now my soul is closer to the blue, blue sky, through which I am soaring, far
across
the distant hills that roll out to the horizon like an enormous sheet of Astroturf
casing the falling sun, far, far above any mortal strife,
carried on the backs of sunbeams, past where clouds would sit were the day not
perfect
my face is kissing that enormous yellow ball of love
…no! No!
No!
No!
		No!
But I have stayed too long!
Ah, my eyes have strayed too far!
Even now they are drawn to that tan pickup truck
belonging to my lost Love!
Even now they are scanning through the ants in the parking lot
to find that pink backpack, that flowery dress!
Even now She is passing through the calamity unscathed,
accompanied by two friends and another man!
Even now they are tossing their bookbags into the back,
piling into the cab, and slipping away!
Oh, the world is so deep and so wide! and amid the heartless rubble
I have already found for myself a flawless Jewel!
but now She is falling away,
out of my heart,
out of my grasp,
out of my sight,
into the arms of the sweet hereafter.

Eclipsing the Moon

The night turns purple as it sleeps in dead men's fingers
still in the gelatinous state we find abhorrent
rocking waves in an ongoing performance under wisdom's moon
while you steal me shells and lace me seaweed necklaces
At this moment, I'd take every pearl drop from every oyster
and throw it to the edgy sea, every sleeping gold doubloon
in silt compressing decadence a laugh lost in history
left there in the dark of the dark.
Far away from the luminary whispers we ignite.
Just let me trace the moon shadows on your face once more.
Leave me with a ring of salt for commitment and hum under your breath
just loud enough to lift the waves a little higher
a little higher still...
and this purple night will sleep on,
grumbling of lost sea items and treasures,
erasing our footprints from it's memory
as we eclipse the moon with our kiss.

Day's Last Light

Golden sunglow
molten heat rises against slender shadows
once flowering trees...
tall skeletons without their leaves
their pink pedals once plush
lost in infinite sands outnumbering stars dust

Glowing white stratus melting like snow
over miles everlasting where nothing shall grow
Distant grand canyons and red sandstone mesas
the sun harms the lost and faithless

The camel's path...ancient sandwriting
guiding its followers until saved
the lost find thier grave
The day journey's slow the lost age quick
night promises an inviting gift
yet cool darkness seems true as myth

When faith's kept and all is hopeless despite
the odds the lost find solace in day's last light

Human Victory

Soldier were going back to their homes,
They fought a war for human victory.
Someone did it for revenge,
Someone did it for defence,
Thousands live they lost,
Thousands home they destroyed,
Thousands children were orphan,
Thousands lost their homes,
Thousands were crying with pain,
Someone who lost their eyes,
Someone who lost their legs,
Someone who lost their arms,
Someone were paralyzed.
Few of them will be honored for their bravery,
Those experienced a naked dance of death,
When they thanked God after suddenly a bomb blasted,
They might have realised the value of living,
But their poverty was only patriotism,
What was their honour and regard?
When the world society conveyed a message of peace,
They were standing on the basement,
Where innocents were crying for justice,
And someone was pointing them,
Why did you kill my son?
Why did you kill my Dad?
Why did you kill my daughter?
Why did you kill my mother?
Look at that heap,
Those are the dead bodies,
They are my relatives,
Why did you kill them?
Were they not human?
Why did you stop innocent killings?
Do you have shortage of emission?
Where is your power?
We also don’t want to live,
Have you taught them a lesson that threatened you?
And you killed thousands innocent only,
Is this action only having human defence?
