...."The Wedding At Dreamendon" ~

Dressing the ancient stars amid their anthem weddings attire....

The universe anxiously anticipating these adorned galaxies of, anew ~

Bookplate bridesmaids, with such glittering eyes and broadening smiles

Quickly making their jubilant ways down, the amendable aisles

With a world beholding as, the best of man....

Hearkening hearts rejoicing so, very deeply inside; paradise

Standing at the altar aside, the most beautiful of glorious grooms ~

Wearing heavens luminous harvest moon colours; commencing halos

Visages, as a sparkling fireworks display afore the joys of an innocent, awestruck child....

Immaculate and pristine; these most mesmerizing of scenes

Cygnus, gathered here to unite this day, paladin unto the morn ~

Extenuatings pragmatic veil; crimsons silkened tides now torn

From, the final pages of such history and lore; a candid, jewel leavened door....

Prismatics band; lifting these velvet promises of an everlasting rainbows, I do ~

Sidereals notes of well-nigh chime; sweet music across the blue made skies

Church bells, reaching unto the furthest realms this, celebrations invitation

Come one come all; come as you were come as you are; the brightest star

Making their way through the constellations; jubilee, and all of creation ~

Coterie, disembarking at the depot from a waking moment; neverendings, final destination!?

...."The Wedding, at Dreamendon" ~

A Wedding In White

He buried his face in her. At first gently. Naked his muscles rippled in the morning light. He was beautiful. She was beautiful and he held her as if she were the last raindrop that would ever fall.

In the white of the stone. In the hand of their creator. Her dress flowed like, sat like, curled like silk. Her face spoke even in the stillness of her passing. His body, his presence yelled of a passion unharnessed.

Death by the poison of a venomous snake and you know we all die like this by the hand of a heartless serpent even if by happenstance but still the sculpture painted romance painted love. Screamed into the eyes of the beholder if not for love then what?

Pledge of love and loyalty

This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

Oh my darling the news is so bleak I saw the consultant only last week Think we better start making plans See the vicar; hear the wedding banns All I’ve ever wanted was to be your wife For better for worse, through trouble and strife The consultant confirmed I’ll not last the year Oh kiss me my darling; just hold me so near Wedding plans float around in my head My dying wish is that we should wed Time is running out so we mustn’t linger I want your wedding ring upon my finger A simple ceremony, just as quiet as can be All I ask my darling is that you stand by me

Runaway with me

Would you pack up and run away with me if I were to ask you to today?
Would you throw aside all the past? The turbulence we shared? Would you forget the screaming matches and remember what we shared?

If I dream of this; is there a chance that it may come true? The answer is too much time has passed, and there’s nothing more to say or do (unhappy face).

But I keep on hanging on, like a worn out Diana Ross song. I blame you; bellowing ”you just keep me hanging on”.

It seems I fell victim to the powers of your kiss. I treated you badly I didn’t realize how much I’d miss.

In this case there are no victims, there are only volunteers, and it seems you too fell ‘victim’, still loving me after all of these years.

I’d like to say I am sorry, but this is a worn out tune. I do have regrets. I blame it all on me. As they say it takes two to tango I wish now that I could see.

But then how could I be sorry to have loved so passionately? I am the lucky one, that someone too loved me.

I still ask would you run away with me? Take me to the justice one more time for a quiet ceremony?

Walk with me through life as if this is something we ever knew how to do. Accept the others faults with no backdoor to escape through.
Grow old and gray together family at our side, the American dream they call it a wild, bumpy ride.

All of the latter is something we will likely never know, but the passion once shared will surely never go.

Its electrical magnetic charge is etched upon my heart. Those times when we were young and would just do ‘it’ anywhere, that heat that drew us like flames we didn't have a care.

I ask again, would you run away with me?! Run away with me now!!! there’s no time to make haste. Life really is short we mustn't let it waste.

My beauty fades fast my love, my lines have become deep, my desires they are waning. Still my love for you I keep.

Run away with me my sweetheart I promise I’ll be fair. I will love you to the ends of time, more than you can bare.

Run away even if you have to wait until the dark of night. Run away with me my love make everything alright.

Idealized Love

I watch as they repeat their vows,
Darling granddaughter and her love.
Each looks into the other's eyes
As though directed from above.
Loving them both, I say a prayer.
I pray the fairy tale will last.
Zealously, jealously I beg,
Each day their love remains steadfast
Dear Lord, for them I dare to ask.

Love that grows stronger every day,
Oh, how I wish that for these two.
Vows remembered and vows renewed,
Each partner staying strong and true.

(My last unmarried granddaughter and her love were married yesterday.)

You Are My All

When on life’s seas I’m tempest tossed,
And my hopeful smile is all but lost,
When I need to survive at any cost,
You are my anchor.

My life is filled with simple pleasures,
My loved ones’ smiles I count as treasures,
When kisses are how life is measured,
You are the standard.

As time soars on and birthdays fly,
My hair is graying, I don’t care why,
My mind is sharp, but not my eyes,
You are my youth.

Love is patient, love is kind,
And to the lucky, love is blind,
But when it comes to love that binds,
You are my love.

Why You

I choose you, because of all the love you give me.
You are my sun when i'm cold.
You are my air when I can't breathe.
You are the one I share my dreams with.
You are the one I can always count on.
Through good times and bad times.
You're the one and only thing that makes me happy when i'm sad.
Hold me tight, like you do your pillow at night.
Why did you take so long to come into my life.
I always hoped and prayed that there would come a day.
When I would find that special love, then you came my way.
To be held by your loving enbrace, that's all i'll ever need.
I do not hunger,I do not fear when you are near.
From that day to now,I finally realized how good life can be.
Because you care, but most of all because you love me.
I pray you understand and know these words I have said to you are true.
Because you are my life and one day i'll make you my wife.
That's why I choose you,To be the one I love,respect and honor.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder
It’s a common saying that is decoded from the look of a man
But of a truth, genuine and true beauty is beyond what the eyes can see
Only the heart can feel it
It glows with such power, even the ‘blind’ will perceive
Regardless of our status, rich or poor
Aboriginality, the language or cultural background
We all can see and perceive this inner beauty with the same view
One advice for my fellow brothers,
Always by pass the look go straight inward
And from the inward, outward appearance can be well appreciated
And advice for everyone
As you take time to make up the physical beauty
Create more time to nurture the inner one
For when you are inwardly ugly
The outward projection is nothing but a fake

Magnolia: Sweet Tradition

Married under a lavish evergreen canopy,
aromatic blooms filled the evening air.
Grand was our cathedral of open sky.
Newlyweds kissed
on the twenty forth of May (your grandparents' anniversary).
Lying above us on an old lower limb:
initials side by side, theirs and ours,
artistically carved by him and you, many years apart.

Sweet bridal bouquet of magnolias you cut.
When as your grandfather's tradition to your grandmother,
each twenty forth of May, she and I received a bouquet.
Even after his death you carried on for both of us, then to her grave.
That tree bloomed two lifetimes of bouquets, both bitter and sweet.

Then we parted.... Went our separate ways.
Reality sometimes overshadows romanticism,
although true love never dies.
Deep in our hearts the magnolia still blooms.
I missed you as much as you missed me, those eleven years,
till one day the sun stepped up on my porch.
I knew when I looked in your eyes and felt your embrace,
On the twenty forth of may, I'll receive a bouquet.
Never again will we part.

Tomorrow's Signature

Yesterday sent its regards in a farewell
A gesture of fate intact, sealed for the
Or better yet, the progressive harmonies
of God, such as we are.

It was perhaps the plot of the universe,
When we slept in yesterday’s hands,
And I asked you the question of
In hopes of fading away mutually, after one
last bloom.

Heaven must have spied on my everlasting
Because with your pearl vision directed
towards me,
And your soft veil of ebony near me,
You agreed, with no hold of hesitation.

So under the chapel’s protection is where
we coast now,
And a road less traveled is scattered with
our footprints;
While I did lead with company, along this aisle
of anticipation,
The stares of 1000 miles did not present themselves,
Until your walk was introduced, thereby polishing
this floor into glory.

As I stood in the patience of joy, a distance was
illustrated between us,
You pressed forward and this negative space lost
its existence;
As you approached with the tranquil touch of
My nerves fell sober, and I knew that which was
parallel before me was art,
The speechless beauty, I favored in sight.

The preacher spoke a traditional verse, as our
eyes locked in perfect reflection;
Declared through spoken word, was the
confirmation of our ribbon in the sky,
Crowned upon your precious finger was the
weight of symbolism,
Silently glowing through the everglades;
With no restriction, we explored the middle
ground in unison.

We exited through the heart of the sun, cherishing
the unfamiliar heat;
It appears that life’s divine notary has signed off
on the greatest equation ever solved,
May our souls forever write in this blessed ink.

My Cousin's Wedding

My cousin shared her wishes and dreams, On our star gazing night, she whispered them so sweet As a shooting star glided down from the sky, She said, I wish ….. I wish…. all I wish are these tonight Someday, I will marry a smart, rich and handsome guy And have a grandiose banquet on my nuptial rite We’ll be dancing like a lovely prince and princess , With all my wedding sponsors on their best suits and dresses All in pink ,that’s the motif I will surely request. She kept into her dreams as several years passed by, Still searching for her prince charming who’s hard to find Unconsciously going beyond the age to give birth to a child, In a hurry at age of seventy, she took a rich ninety years old guy. The wedding was held after a day or two, The guy seated on his wheelchair with rheumatism on his toe She headed slowly at the alter to accept his shaking hands, Two nurses followed, so with sponsors dressed up in printed brown. The highlight of the wedding rite started at once, They held tightly with a nebulizers on the other hands, But the words of oath, they took time to pronounce False teeth were both misplaced and nowhere to be found. Reception followed grandiosely in the guy’s mansion, I saw many old men and women still eager to dance on the floor, With hunched back, shaking knees, they twisted rock and roll Then, sweet music played and my cousin danced with her groom. But, we all wondered how did he stand alone? He’s so heavy , I knew my cousin couldn’t help him at all, With our great surprise, his nurse was at his side like his crutch Everyone thought , he’s really a smart guy! Was he not? Then, everyone followed them so happily on the spacious hall, And in trio, they held each other so tight and moved like a fool.

Passionate Love

I want you..
And I was made just for you
I'll make love to you
All the night with you

Feel my heart that burns in fire
Look my eyes that full of desire
As our bodies ignite in passion
Our souls chain in a strong union

Carressing every part of you
Gives me satisfaction
Dancing in the hymn of love
That just the two of us can hear it loud

Nothing seperate me from you
No one could make me feel like the way you do
Our passion for each other binds us together
And our love for each other makes us FOREVER!

Our Eternal Wedding House

Even death could not cause our love to part,
This promise has always sounded so right,
These words of hope still echo in my heart.

When they found his body, tears did not start,
Through this strong shock, I continued to fight,
Even death could not cause our love to part.

Stole to his fresh grave with a garden cart,
Our wedding vows I began to recite;
These words of hope still echo in my heart.

I dug with fervor, my body did smart,
yet never ceased digging all through the night.
Even death could not cause our love to part.

To our wedding house we arrived, stalwart,
Just as the porch was kissed by morning light;
These words of hope still echo in my heart.

Blue and cold, he remained a work of art,
From my opened wrists flowed the crimson, bright.
Even death could not cause our love to part,
These words of hope still echo in my heart.

When Fate Decides

( ) ( )
)( )( Fate’s Decision when fate decides to bring you love, your heart will fly as lovely as a dove seems as if your soul had reached a throne of gold underneath the rainbow of great happiness unfold
when two hearts cling together as one making sacred vow for a very strong bond for better or worst, ‘til death do us part, in sickness and in health, the loveliest thing from mouth to heart as colorful butterflies spread their wings crowning you both with joy and bountiful blessings applause will be on air wishing you both hope and success as two hearts build a family hoping to live in a home of bliss but when fate decides to bring you love it’ s not always like a fairy tale now just like a tall wedding cake that loses its shape when love is not nourished and nurtured by two people who share

A Wedding Day Rose

A wedding day rose pale in dress
'twas as fair as the maiden bride.
Vanity’s breath in two hands caressed;
tendrils warily pruned, implied.
Quiet beauty bequeathed filled with pride.

Budding flower in light cascading,
veiled imitation none could foresee.
Blushing petals fall, brittle and fading.
Sunset bore weeping groom’s last decree.
Then into darkest night, he did flee.

A wedding day rose in graceful frock
shall charm all attendees eternal.
Apart from the bud with thorny stalk,
head silently rotting internal.
Dewdrops cloud o’er the earth infernal.

A Love Song To A Beloved

‘‘A friend once in his youthful flight
Had found a beauty delight
Though distance stretched them in mileage
But their love was destined to find a page’’

A lark that sings in the morning bright
Ke-ke-li, O Kekeli! My beautiful light
The hanging garden upon my sight
Hands of fate has woven a happy home
A love of current, stronger than the Law of Ohm
Invigorating, a love connected at heart
Which God designed never to part

Where there is love, they say there is a way
Our love I believe is here to stay
Kekeli, my beloved, sing me a serenade
A song of an angel’s grade
That in heaven’s clime pervade
Sing it across space and time
And make it last like a rhyme

My beloved Kekeli! You’re my light
You’re my Hephzibah, my only delight
Thou art fairer than Friedan Betty
Thou art matchless in beauty
So calm and inviting like the blue sea
Beauty not to be told but for eyes to see

Behold my mistress of fair skin
Eyes of diamonds, pure and pristine
O Tell me, you whom I was made to love
One, unique in your choicest apparel
Lips of zebra stipes set with a berry
The hanging petals of a blossom cherry
Chief among all my thousands buddies
O Kekeli! The only ruby my finger shall find
And wouldn’t be ashamed to be called uxorious

"For as a young man marries a virgin
so shall your sons marry you, and as
the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
so shall your God rejoice over you". Isa 62:5

What Love is

Love is a secret . . . Keep it
Love is a rose . . . Grow with it
Love is a mystery . . . Unfold it
Love is an adventure . . . Chance it
Love is beauty . . . Pamper it
Love is a song . . . Sing it
Love is a struggle . . . Deal with it
Love is sorrowful . . . Mourn with it
Love is a book . . . Renew it
Love is a fire inside . . . Never let it die

The Lovers Dance

It was their night they shone bright as they danced their sweet dance
Two lovers embraced in their world of romance.

They laughed and they cried as their eyes locked in stare
It was their world for this moment as if no one was there.

And their steps they so flawlessly glided in tune,
To a melody that touched everyone in that room.

Their passion brought envy to onlookers there,
Who secretly questioned their own love affair.

But as the night closed and came to an end
The lovers were blind to what lie round the bend.

The house and the cars and the jobs that went bad
The kids drove them crazy and their savings were drab.

So they fought to hold on to the things in their life,
That caused them so much of their pain and their strife.

They fought with each other like enemies do,
And dismissed in their life everything that was true.

So when sickness and hardships and troubles occurred,
Their vows to commit seemed truly absurd.

Their home and their kids would now take a backseat,
For their moral obligation they chose not to meet.

So I Ask …
What happened to that dance they danced so well?
With passion and truth everyone could tell.

What happened to their dance where they held so tight?
What happened to the wonder of their glorious night?

What happened to the words that charmed their ears?
With a passionate rhythm that brought them to tears.

What happened to those vows that poured from their heart?
The “I love you forever and till death do us part”.

For these aren’t just words we borrow for the day,
From another who tells us this is what we must say.

We say them cause it’s what we feel true in our heart,
It’s a God given blessing we commit from the start.

But these words are now lost as they fall on deaf ears,
Since the pain and the struggles they’ve created these years.

So the lesson here learned dear people of odd,
Is that love is so fragile but made strong with our God.

So stop fighting for power and money or need,
For all of this nonsense is only our greed.

Keep God in your life and he’ll walk you through,
When heartache and pain and losses ensue.

For why commit vows in the eyes of our God,
And not call on him when life gets too hard?

For the truth of our vows we are all meant to see,
is that marriage is not, made of two, but of three

If reading these words ring some truth in your heart,
Decide that today you will make a new start.

Go hug your spouse and say something kind
Don’t let the small stuff cloud up your mind.

We’re all just lost souls who are trying to cope
If not there for each other then where is the hope?

You see, the anger, the fight
that in us abide, Is only the insecure child inside.

So rise up above all this fear and this pain,
And see all the beauty that there is to gain.

By trusting in God and his will for you
Together forever he’ll see you both through.

For life is too short for our miserly ways
cheap on our love hence dreading our days.

He made us to love in all that we do
To wake up each morning and start us a new.

So pray for your spouse, ask God to be kind
To the person you prayed in the beginning to find.

They’re still the same person you loved from the start
But life and it’s troubles have hardened their heart.

You vowed that you’d love them in sickness and health
Now is your chance to show God what you felt.

So rise up my friend, don’t say that you’re through
For what if your loving God gave up on you?

Something Special

So many years ago
when life was young
bringing together a love
that could never be undone
is really something special.

To find someone, you'd never leave
to keep forever by your side
is really something special
through more than just my eyes.

The promise of a heart
until the day you die
the gift of happiness
and hope that it brings inside
is really something special.

Un describing feeling
of safety and trust
belonging to someone
the I turns to us
that's really something special.

Someone to kiss goodnight
that's still there as you wake
is really something special
a vow you agreed to take.

Everyone hopes to find
something special in life
 to have until the end
as you have found in each other
as lovers and friends.

The Broken Vase Of Love

Is never a crime so earn me awhole.
For all whom thoughts were crack in noon,
And still do not think is right left being dumb.
Would in pre-nuptial undertaken sauntered, when lifted'd had imagined what the world is of its own. If it's a wistful pan of several host or A spiteful mine of volcanic tusks?

                              Fly me to the moon
And let me play the stringed tunes,
                              The nod-nod head of a lover’s hoot
Let me dance among the stars
The tap-tap feet of a chivalrous heart...

When my gaze beheld you-my spouse
In our heart true passions doused
Draped like silk, a face with love soused
A new home in you I found.

I saw in you a beautiful wife
A flashy rectitude that brought new life,
That ravished me with sapphire eyes so fine
Fitted in your pearl socket, not of swine

You have triggered the jubilee of sunshine valentine
Now torch me with the kisses of your lip so bright
And swing me with the noontide delight I delight
Tangoing the tango of moonlight

I woo you with a honey tongue
Like silly doves we coo this carol song
In the sonority of your voice is compassion
Borne in a roomy heart for sacred fun.
… Fly us to the (honey) moon
                              Play us the bedroom tunes
                              In a solitary nook,
Let’s twirl this ballet as David in jolly mood
And wreathe in celestial honeymoon cocoon.

A Forever Promise

Anxiously the bachelor dreams
Of a lifelong commitment
From the insidious bachelorlette,
He proposed marriage tenderly
Could I count on you ~
To forsake all others said she,
He vows to do so forever,
If she were to love, honor
And be the best bride ever.
They agree thus bonding
In holy matrimony
Husband and wife
Were then introduced --Mr. and Mrs.
After which family, guests
And wedding party joined
Too, celebrate the start of
their forever promise
Many blessings
