I Imagine You

I imagine you
always, for the first time
burgeoning like an
arum lily

Some exotic flower
falling off the back-end
of a truck, floating
with the breeze
into my hands

I imagine you
as I do, in certain dreams
statuesque in your movements,
so float towards me
as a dream,

I am a non-existent entity
propelled by your perfume
and midnight gardens light

When I imagine you
eternally, in the mirror
of my eyes.

Johnny Football

Poetic Lyrics By Thomas Lam Hsi

SAVE FROM Satan...who plays 'all' roles...the devil...the 'Lord Jesus'...
the 'Father'...the 'Holy Spirit'...all 'Other Gods'...and 'alien gods'...HE...THE
IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD THE FATHER...and to an Actual Heaven!

Johnny...those crystal blue eyes...have never lied!

The day a nation...fell in commotion...I nearly died!

Momma...dropped her pie...and Daddy...he just cried! never lied...a velvet touch of hide!'re a...Satur-day...special!

The kicked your heels...was special!

The time you...skipped a rock...'cross three ponds...was special! never lied...and to're...always special! got me in your your book!

The twinkle in your eye...the tickets...they all...forsook!

A smile...a flash...a feint...and then...a clever crook!'re my bible...and...then my book!

Johnny...when those velvet hands...take...only mine!

This plastic only!

Beads and last time! never all-time high!'ll...lite a nation...another...good 'ol time!'ll...lite my more time!

Johnny...and when...your tired 'ol hands...take...only mine!

This plastic gave...only to me...was...just unkind!

The the last time! lied...not I...but if you more time?

A Visit from My Housekeeper

   Her I am
sitting writing a
While my housekeeper
  is bury cleaning
my apartment
   I feel a little guilty
 She is working hard
while I am just
   moving a pen
along a piece of
Still poetry
    is listed as an
occupation in the Occupational Outlook Handbook
So I guess I am working, too
In September I return to work as a
college assistant
Devoting the rest of my time to
the New York Giants, poetry and looking for love

Like a football in woman's game

Just like football I am going to be chased in life's game by a bunch of ladies as if playing a football match. I am going to be chased in life's game they will rush just to touch me as if playing a football match receiving me gently in the chest. They will rush just to touch me the goalkeeper among them receiving me gently in the chest will give me sure kisses. The goalkeeper among them I am going to love her will sure give me kisses soft like a feather's touch. I am going to love her though I may get occasional kick soft like a feather's touch that is part of the game. Though I may get occasional kick I must forget the pain that is part of the game with so many cute ladies around. I must forget the pain I will be so sought after with so many cute ladies around everyone wanting to hug me. I will be so sought after by a bunch of ladies everybody wanting to hug me just like a football. © kashinath karmakar (27th June 2011) =============00============= Placement:HM (August 2011) Contest:Play Ball Sponsor:Debbie Guzzi

thank you Ryan Giggs

23 years you played for our club
We will never see another like you
Gave us your sweat, tears and blood
You were United through and through

You won 13 premier league titles
While Gerrard has none
We will never see another like you
Thank you for all you have done

One day I will tell my kids
About the legendary Ryan Giggs
You will be missed
You won your 2nd champions league when John Terry slipped

I can never thank you enough
You will always be a player I admire
Still amazed by your goal against Arsenal in the Fa Cup
Still can’t believe you’re retired

Ronaldo will always be my favourite player
But you will always be a close second
You, Scholes and Giggs
Were a match made in heaven

You were a prat of the class of 92
Along with Beckham, Butt, Scholes and the Neville’s
You were United through and through
And helped us win the treble

You always played with your heart
Gave your all to our club
Tearing defenders apart
You played with passion and love

I miss seeing you run down the wing
Amazed by all the things you did
Your name we will continue to sing
Thank you Ryan Giggs

Women Who LOVE Football - VERSION 2

Women Who LOVE Football
Are DIFFERENT from the rest
They live their LIFE with PASSION
They love their FAMILY best.

They aren’t afraid to get their hands DIRTY
They are not afraid to FIGHT
They know how to put their GAME FACE on
Attempting last DOWN's under Stadium lights.

They are always ready to EXECUTE their OPTIONS
They always plan to SCORE
They have a sense of PURPOSE
And are STRONGER than they think.

They WILL NEVER GIVE UP without a fight
They always PLAY by all the RULES
They have a positive ATTITUDE
They always keep their COOL.

Women who LOVE Football
Will always WIN with STYLE
And if they ever happen to LOSE
They will always lose with DIGNITY
Leaving their problems upon the FIELD.

Dream of Maracana

Again the drums of samba
Playing in Maracana stadium
The dream is again in Maracana
As the flags golden Shine
With the sun
at the green in the field
Look this wren in the fly

Garrnicha is the dream

Embraced the blue of the of ocean
He drunk the beams of the sun
Rio is the dream
Dream and the passion of the ocean
In a little wren

Look the wren in the fly
Garrnicha is the dream

See the field is waiting
to make the dream
true and real
So fly Naymo wren
the new Garrincha high

High School Days

We are not perfect by no means at all,
some are too skinny, some are too tall,
I was always the tallest in my class,
until High school, then I found my match.
5' 7'' kinda tall for a girl,
then I decided, I wanted to twirl,
The football players always kidded with me,
but I knew they were flirting, they really liked me.
My hair was long, and blonde as can be,
they told me not past the shoulders, little Crissy.
I had to pile it up, but it never stayed,
stringy haired twirler, out on the stage.
Now , I think back to those football games,
remembering those memories, of my High School

Football Burt

So tender in years,
my heart still unhurt,
I remember his name,
sexy football Burt.

All the girls,
would moan, and sigh,
every time,
this hunk passed by.

Not a beauty,
I was tall, and lean,
some called me beanpole,
kids can be so mean.

So unnoticed,
and so very shy,
if a guy spoke to me,
I would nearly die.

My face turned red,
as my heart raced crazy wild,
it happened every time,
a guy would smile.

Then it seemed,
a change came overnight,
my clothes started clinging,
to my curves overnight.

My hair started growing,
and the color changed,
the sunshine had bleached it,
or that was what I claimed.

Enjoying my freshman year
in my mini skirt,
a high school girl,
learning to flirt.

So tender in years,
my heart still unhurt,
I remember his name,
sexy football Burt.

(To the Elvis Presley
song - Love Me Tender)

Love me tender, love
my football, tell me you
are mine,
For it's you that I do
love - and our hearts
Love me tender, love
football - we are the
Welcome to the Premier
League, we don't
accept defeat.

Love me tender, we love
you - we mean that oh
so true,
For our O-Posts are
always there - we rely
on you.
Love me tender, I do
play, this is my home
For you have been
good to me - creating
such intrigue.
Love me tender, love
football - we are the
champions -
For my darling I love
you - the darling soccer

Love me tender, love
our game, this is what
we do,
For our darling football
team - you are the
special few.

Love me tender, love
the sport, the light is
shining bright.
We are playing at
home today - we do
feel such delight.
Love us tender, love
the sport - for we can't
always win,
For my darlings we
will win - and this is
not a sin!

Love my footy, love
my team, you really
are a dream.
For on the pitch you
do deliver - and
cause us all to scream.

Love me tender, love
the ref, for he is in
full charge.
He is always booking
us - for a foul of a
shoulder barge.
Love him tender, love
his style, the ref is
like a thistle,
When he retires from
the game - he'll blow
the final whistle.

Love me tender, love
football, the O-Posts
team are great.
They are up to date
for us - this we

Love me tender, I'm
in love - with the
skills of the modern
All the players we
do see - but I do
not know their name.
Love me tender, love
football - it is a very
rich sport,
When you run out on
to the pitch - the ball
is in your court.

Love me tender, love
the dream - we really
are the host.
The world's best league's
are all on show, thanks
to our O-Posts.

Love me tender, we
love bath time, who's
now pinched the soap?
If we score some goals
today - we can all elope.
Love me tender, love us
true, this football we all
do play,
Never wondering why
we play - except for our
massive pay!

Love Under the High School Bleachers

Some time ago, within a memory
deep in my dark, and most forbidden past,
when I recall your teaching only me,
there in the dark--with love that could not last!

Nor would we ever have such love today--
such great delight--but wicked from the start,
'tis in the past--and there must always stay,
but just a trace is here--to warm my heart;

so I can call--to mind--if late at night
when love seems not to be what love should be,
and I can feel in me, with great delight--
your love again--your lesson given me.

Here-in I be--still deep in love with you
the half-time of our love I'm going through.

You treat me like a football

I can’t forget those days baby
No I can't forget at all
When you used to love me madly
When I was only your doll!

You have loose character
I have known it later
It has driven me crazy
Baby I feel so lonely!

Baby I am not bad at all
But you treat me like a football
That’s why now I curse you
But I pray for you too!

Baby now I hate you
As much as I love you
You are like my favorite food
Baby I am not very good!
