An Angel

Last night as I lay in my bed
An angel appeared and said
Your life will soon end
I am sent as a friend
To a new kingdom soon you will be led

Say goodbye to all those you hold dear
Tell all they must not shed a tear
For your passing will be
Liberating and free
With my lead you will not have fear

In life you have suffered too much
Soon you will walk without need of a crutch
In the kingdom to come
You won’t limp you will run
With the help of the lords gentle touch

So I wait for the day to draw nigh
Though I know lots of people will cry
With happiness in my heart
I will gladly depart
Heavens waiting there for me to try

The angel at last has drawn near
He offers a new life so clear
With a silent prayer
I climb the golden stair
Halleluiah the angels all cheer

The RIGHTMAN

THE RIGHTMAN
i'LL not apologize for being white,
nor being male, nor being right
The world is how we've made it be
enjoyed by all, for all to see,
and made by male and right and white.

Limerick 1 - Missing Linda-Marie

My heart is shattered and my tears falling, Sweetheart Linda-Marie is a soul floating; My friend is gone far away, It was God's will that sad day, Miss her Jersey voice and our gossiping. _____________________________ February 5, 2015 Limerick For the contest, A Valentine Limerick ~ To The Poet Who Broke My Heart Sponsor, Skat A First Place

Hark--an Angel--The harbinger of all things good

What flies though the air up above
Disguised as a peace seeking dove
For those who've not heard
Drones can send you the bird
From the land of brotherly love

Author's note: Is this really how to win friends and influence people (for the long term)?

Limerick crochetes: Once Angela signed pact with Doctor Jeckel

Limerick crochetés: Once Angela signed pact with Doctor Jeckel

Once Angela signed pact with Doctor Jeckel
Needed urgent help her kitchen all pell-mell
	In far-off torn country
	People turned refugee
By turnip-head Mephistopheles in Hell

Angela’s wise friend Faust told her to toll bell
To tell the world how much her heart bled with knell
She’ll take in all who flee
	Bitten by bee or flea
Life-jackets galore Mephisto jumped to sell

In Mid-Land-Sea punctured floats jackets did spell
Drowned refugee yells worse than arrows Will’ Tell
	Angie slurped sea-green tea
	With Jeckel invitee
While survivors charged through blockades raising Hell

If Angela dug an underground Chunnel
From her kitchen to Mephisto-lands un-well
	Käse-Kuchen* Mummy
	Made by hands refugee
To boost her economy – Angela! Hail!

*Käse-Kuchen: German for cheese cake

Angel singing

Is it an angel that I hear singing?
Or is it tinnitus in my ears ringing?
The voice is so high
Its making me cry
It’s my underwear, it's tight and wringing

Then this Wily Woman from Franco’s Spain
Got the old suction pump jerking again
She pumped herself so hard
They said she set record
Till sewers now run through her to the Seine.

There wad a young man who was nuts
And always lived in garden huts

But I blame all those welfare cuts

THE NIGERIAN DREAM 6

A world class country
Where corruption remained an enemy
Bribery a foe to the leaders
Good roads and better pipe borne water
Constant power supply.
