ONLY EVER WITH YOU

O N L Y E V E R W I T H Y O U Only ever with you, I love to have and hold into the circle of your arms, I'll unfold; into your blue eyes' greeting shine, my gold; only ever with you, I yearn to grow old... Only ever with you I can write rhymes as such for you bring my muse from dust to dash, to hush Only ever with you my being wants to attach as first step already taken to our primrose path Only ever with you, tips dance linger to cherry lips Slow summer hands will roam vast to wonderland Whence pearl white peel smooches chocolate skin only ever with you, heartbeats climbs a boiling point Stars and moon may leave the dark skies yet, one look at the gleam of your blue eyes day and night, I see the rising sunrise. Only ever with you, I will dive to lows or heights for only ever with you, I'll plunge to infinity. Prayers plea asking blessings from Divinity to tie two hearts and two souls in sole unity. Mindless to whatever is there in humanity Only ever with you... _______________________________________________ POEM OF THE DAY -- February 27, 2015 ©O. E. Guillermo 5:32 pm, February 26, 2015

Reflection of an old man

As I gaze upon a frail old man opposite me He looks at me and a smile appears on his face I decide to stop and talk to him for a while To reflect upon those years gone by Old man, where has your life gone? Time has flown by, doesn't life moves so fast Can you remember when you were younger? Handsome man with long dark hair, the ladies loved, but its all gone now, not even any grey patches A gleam in your eye just like James Dean, but your face is old and wrinkly now Your hands were so strong, but now shake and shiver Like a stallion, your strength was of legends, but through the years you became so weak and fragile Do you remember all the loves? All those hearts your broke? The one that broke your heart? I know she skips through your mind from time to time Such a beautiful woman, full of class, you thought one day you would marry, have lots of children and die happy. Funny how life works out, how it never goes to plan What you have today is never what you thought it would be Do you remember all those who hurt you? Through time you learnt to forgive, life is too short for grudges I know you miss your real beloved, your precious mother, who sacrificed her life for you Who held you so close the day you were born, sadly, you lost her so young Life was hard with so much poverty, and I know you wonder what happened to your childhood, but you got through and learnt how to spread love You didn't let the demons defeat you, because your were drawn to the angels Think about all the happiness you brought, how many tears you wiped away and how you listened But what about those dreams you had? Do you have many regrets? Or is life too short for that? Do you feel you have left behind a legacy? I see loneliness in your eyes, everyone you loved, has left in the end. Are you happy with what you will leave behind? Do you like what you see in the mirror? As, I turn away from the mirror, and tears roll down my face I think to myself, what happened to the fun and the adventure Whatever happened to all those passengers? What happened to me? But, then I remind myself, life is what it is and everything happens for a reason Some you win, some you lose Life is too short for regret It's good to reflect, but also good to be content... COME WHAT MAY

The steep waning of duskfall held by one Cuddled by a wheeze , the dim air’s pale light, Nestling upon boughs of memoirs undone As scenes rise mildly with an ached delight. Although fall plunges into my own depth, Giving way to chills of winter ,prolonged So must spring blossom with a fragrant breath For roam I must through peaks of Augusts’ song. And musings dip upon the faltering wings A blazed remembrance of seasons’ refrains; Snuffed by love’s risk, hardened from cold warning Oh time withers, breaks ...still I call your name. Hearts evade pleas, sweet moments gone astray That now I rest on a crib of old stars But such is life allowing what is the way; To gather new treasures...near or afar. We Danced Through Life

We danced amongst the stars that night
when joy had fallen far from sight

We danced under the sun so bright
And when all seemed lost, we held on tight

We danced to the music of hummingbirds
And we danced in the silence when there were no words.

We danced in the shadows of fear and doubt
And we danced when we questioned what life’s about

We danced amongst the evergreens
That posed for painters winter scenes.

We danced in the winters bitter chill
And when we danced our world stood still.

For that’s what love was meant to be
To find the dance when we cannot see.

To write a new song when the music stops
With lyrics that caress every tear that drops.

For when the rhythm changes and tempo slowed
We’re called to dance with the seeds we sowed.

For life is hard, there is no doubt
But Dancing through it, is what life’s about.

Pledge of love and loyalty

This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb,
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
commitment-
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
reasons.
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

STARS LIGHT, THEY SHINE BRIGHT

STARS LIGHT, THEY SHINE BRIGHT Glowing gems that dress the night, I yearn to know your brightness art blinking quick, blinking slow my running thoughts you make them go... From arid desert to distant worlds, stars white shimmer a wordless speech: their wink--a gift of hope to travelers who dare tread the darkest steep. In my arms, I have one little star so mild, so child, my antidote to fear twinkle in her eyes, my happiest tear years ebb my star bloom to a big star I clap loud for my star scintillates from afar Amidst terrors strike, she, standing still her Venus light shining in the flight of years. She soft-hearted despite some limiting steel My star swim, swim to life's stream 'til pass a tide, she found her hearts' star One day he said: "she is his dearest" so eighth of February, they breath their vows Soon, after a year, my before little star now cradles her own baby star. Her eyes so deep, her grin so sweet, our little star add a touch of treats. Twinkle, twinkle little stars-- gleam silver above the skies let your light boogie near or far on each fair fields that before us lie. ______________________________________________ Sponsor Kelly Deschler Contest Name Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Placed 5th... I LOVE YOU EVEN IN FAR OFF PLACE

I LOVE YOU EVEN IN FAR OFF PLACE Fever of love cartwheel snaillike but where are you? Round six o'clock noon, sunken is the moon gazing behind deep orange-aubergine feather skies, its shadowy light floods the shivering sea, I, standing still amidst the tickling water, my teary eyes softly wander upon endless horizon, my hypothermic skin long for the kisses puffed by you. Barefooted, I amble along the silky sands seagulls fingers rushing to caress my feet but droplets of August rain run fast above my head. The crisp wind wafts whispering something in my ear t'was the songs we sang second week of February honeysuckle times gone but still my celcius sprint. Softly, I tread back to memoirs playing a chemistry where there catena of reactions descry revealing we... Cleansed from river tears, blessed by suns of home, my heart didn't surrender in wanting your presence soon. Crossing limitless borders where our lamp is trust, the choice to continue gleams in the name of freedom, as we daily counteract two strategic villains: the odd times and the eight thousand miles distance. Yes, afar but this NOT THE BARRIER. Us baring our souls. Us stepping onward, offering ourselves, to attain one goal. I listened close to your voice as we talk by phone My oh my, your tone, your giggle magnify my thoughts! but this not enough 'cause I yearn to hold you most. I want to ask: what is it that's not in my heart that fate acted so long in keeping us apart? Perhaps... Ah perhaps! This must be for us to rightly spell the language of love... The long distance vanguished, frozen fears diminished, sapphire eyes cushioned by cherry color skin sings as he stares whole from rosy chocolate coated cutis to eyes touching tears, directly screaming: "I love you..." __________________________________________________________ EPIC ---ONLY - Poetry Contest Sponsor Name -- SKAT A ~7th Place~ Olive Eloisa Guillermo 10:59am, July 24, 2015

YOU'VE CHANGED MY LIFE COMPLETELY

You’ve changed my life completely
Can’t bear it when we‘re apart
For every waking moment
You are forever in my heart

I can’t stop smiling when I think of you
Love everything you say and do
Can’t wait until there comes a time
When I know you’re truly mine

A word from you and I'm wearing a silly grin
You're the cream in my coffee, the sugar in my tea
I feel I can face the challenges of life and always win
You have become the missing part of me

Because of you I now feel whole
My heart is full and at last I'm content
I feel your warmth in the depths of my soul
Every second with you is a second well spent

Just a smile from you and my heart skips a beat
With you in my life I am fully complete
We have our whole life ahead to share
You’re the love of my life no other can compare

A million beautiful butterflies landed on us as we slept
They carry us to paradise where loving souls are kept
Here we're given holy blessing for the relationship we share
The angels smile in heaven when true love is in the air

TRUE LOVE SAILED OVER SEAS

TRUE LOVE SAILED OVER SEAS Have I met trouble when I met your ocean eyes for beneath that steady gaze, I reach the highest sky? Slothful moon turned grey, so the stars: tired and pale when I behold your white angelic grace. . . Distant and unfamiliar you may seem, I wasn't afraid to run, run and catch your gleam without a guarantee of us becoming one, still, I pursue to behold you, my woman. I am no Romeo nor you are not Juliet but allow me to prove, I love immaculate... Hundred miles and hundred days we may separate, yonder, seasons change, my heart to you, I dedicate. Overseas, each time the ship reach the shore, immediately like thunder, I trip to the door for me to send my love letter or find a phone excited I am, the opportunity, I don't postpone! Pity at that time, no internet or cellphones yet so the instant a signal peeps, it's you, I first check. My ears blush and so I am in fever love each time our exchange of thoughts began. Then again while we talk, sometimes, the signal fret, or without proper warning our chats end to wreck. Coins gone and so time on shore is done, again I want to dial My sunshine smile not turning to the river Nile... My heart on somersaults when they hand me your letter like a little boy with his favorite toy, I keep it near my chest awhile I am on reversed cardiac arrest, I confess. Winter feeling I have blown and within is a summer weather, ten months or a year in the middle of the sea with only your letters and photo I kiss, I, in jubilee! Years passed, I came home and I search your address, my intentions of wanting to marry you, I will express. Your parents, unsure of me, they probe too much. How many women I touched-- I gone to bed with for am a sailor, they thought to any girl I resort, I was stunned but I remain calm and quiet as I know myself, loyal to you and no one else. I tried to woo them and prove, my only love is you. God must have blessed us-- as their stone heart melt, a year later, my dream of being your husband came true. _____________________________________________________________ ©O. E. Secretly Obsessed

Obsessed with the thought of you
wondering if it's only me or
if you sometimes remember the sweet things you've said
and if you meant them how I took them
or if I'm just obsessed with what's in your head

Obsessed with your very sentences
Every response I take personal
I know it's selfishness
Have you not noticed my eyes?
They hold secrets that only you can unlock
if you'd just take time to fill the thick juices of my pride
It's just boiling with lust, passion, trust and distrust
and other things I obsess over so much

I find myself writing to free myself from this prison I've created
where only you and I reside
I become confused about what I'm really feeling inside and I
try to rid the thoughts that are highly debated as false and I
begin to cry and
think of casting love spells so that the universe can deliver this affair
I know it's unfair
but I don't care

I'm obsessed with what hasn't happened between us
I'm obsessed with your heart and that the fact that
I don't think you've even noticed my selfish innuendos
and secret undertones that blatantly express my lust
Or maybe you have and you calmly remain in resistance of distrust
If you could only read my mind by simply touching my fingertips,
I'm sure I'd catch you out the corner of my eye biting your bottom lip
I'm obsessed with the passion and thoughts I think you have
Obsessing over an experience that I may never have....

WHEN I LOVE THEE

I LOVE THEE I am no voluptuous beauty nor do I live a life of purity I can only say: I love wholeheartedly with all I am so truthfully I keep my heart open though it gets hurt so often I avoid to be irate as I know love changes the heart rate.. Guys tried to coo and woo, they say words as for "only you" Yet, hard to believe it is true as I see some untrue I give chances as my heart marks with tact entrances I learned from various instances looking man in romances In places where rules impede, two persons who wants to bid Not of money but of affection, in them must be determination I love thee not of what you have… Not even of who you are but to how you are to me… If I love you, don't tell me much what to do… As me, myself will show you, I am that real and true.. Yes, I am liked by many but tell you what: I don't like this honey nor am I proud of it in anyway One is enough to make me stay Stand with me through it all, I give my best not to fall My name your sweetest call echoing in every wall.. Hold me firm yet dear; allow me to move closely We'll make it anyhow, treading smoothly on flows... We are strong, aren't we? No one moving alone Together we'll face phases in tune, though there will dunes.. ________________________________________________________ © OLIVE ELOISA D. Joining the Pieces

Sometimes we sit alone,
quiet, trying to figure
out who carried a piece
of us with them, as we try
to put ourselves together again...

A Golf lesson

Over fifty years have passed,
Tho’ it seems like just the other day;
My father gave me golf clubs,
“It’s a game you need to learn to play.”

He said, “It’s very difficult, but so is life.
There’s more to learn than grip and swing and rules,
Like honesty and dealing with adversity;
Then, pointing to his head, “… and how to use ALL your tools.

Play the Course… and Mother Nature…
Focus on just one shot at a time;
Try to learn from each of your mistakes;
Then, do your best to leave them behind.

These clubs will teach you more
Than our ‘man to man’ talks.
This you'll learn for yourself,
So you can “walk the walk.”

“Practice makes better, but not perfect.
And always remember what they say:
‘”Golf is not a game that we can win.
It’s just a game we play.’”

His lessons served me very well,
Took them to heart and play the game.
And life is much like a round of golf.
Despite the bad shots, I’m always glad I came.

The Hypocritical Christian

I am the hypocritical Christian.
I say I follow Christ,
But I'm still consumed by my demons.
I go to church on Sunday,
But I refuse to invite someone back.
I want to serve on mission,
But I'm too afraid to act.
They think I read The Bible,
But I just fall asleep in it.
They think I'm positivity and smiles,
But underneath I'm death and addictions.
They think I'm clean and pure,
But I'm broken and mistaken.
I say I'm not worthy of His love,
But Jesus will never let me be forsaken.
I pray long prayers,
But inside they're empty repetition.
It might look as if my faith is strong,
But my core is too easily shaken.
I say the things I'm supposed to say,
But don't follow His actions or obey.
I speak the truth the church wants to hear,
But deep inside on matters I don't know what to believe.
I walk in shame as if I'm not good enough
To be loved by God and saved through Christ,
But there is nothing I could ever do to earn His peace;
It's a free gift.
I accept;
Now forgiven, changed, and released.
Thank You God,
Thank You Jesus,
Thank You Holy Spirit!
In Jesus' Holy Name,
We pray,
Amen!

Community

Community, what does it mean
And how does it come into being
Well what does the dictionary have to say
“A group of people living together in one place”

I guess that means were all in community
Though if I were to speak in honesty
It feels like we try to live separately
Living by the culture of our country

Which tells us, do it yourself
If your strong, you don’t ask for help
Life is about personal advancement
About money and accomplishments
Hold onto your hardships and pain
Keep striving for personal gain
So many lies deeply engrained
How will we create change?

Well I start with myself
I ask for help
I start with me
I be the change I want to see

I become an infectious contagion
In all of my relations
That could spread across a population
Even across the nations

I model my life after the master of love
Who dwells in the heavens above
He has brought millions even billions together
Over decades, centuries, even millenniums
So what else could be better
Than to faithfully follow him

He who said, I was anointed
to proclaim good news to the poor
to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free”

and I say yeah that’s who I want to be
But unless I engage in community
Unless I get to know my fellow human beings
How can I help to set them free

So its time for me to put aside
Popular culture, foolish pride
Social codes, selfish ambitions
Old roads, and useless traditions

And blaze a brand new trail
With my life, write a new tale
Introduce a new theme
Add in a few more characters
And then dare to dream
About how my story could impact theirs
And their’s impact mine

Because maybe just, maybe
It might be better, might just be
Not to say, I did it on my own
All this, look I did it alone
No maybe it would be better
If we did it together

So that no matter what my lot
I can always know that I’ve got
Friends, right until the very end
Help, ready to be sent
Hands willing to be lent
So what need would I have for advancement
For money and accomplishment

I can find all that I need
Everything I seek from this life,
In relationship with fellow human beings
Community, Maybe this is what it means

Trophy Wife

I watch your riveting sonatas
Layer decadent truffles
Upon his pupils

Leaking wanton tears

Grasping for serenity
To have epilogue’s slow dance

You latch onto love’s empty façade.

No return flights to your destination.

Where are YOUR wings, angel?

An embedded hunger for him
To treat you like a priceless prayer

But, his knees are too decrepit to kneel in your temple.

Yet, you stay…
…stay

Your freedom becomes latched
Onto tortured leeches

Sucking
You
Dry

It’s the closest you ever
Come
To his flesh

You stare out towards melancholic branches
Cracking in unison outside your bedroom window
Under Gemini moon

A gripping slide of your fingertips
Against convex glass
Craving for encore
Of that night emptiness filled your lungs with lustful whisper

But, now,
Pandora’s Box is your only translator
Held by the skeletons in his closet

With your name written against necklace’s recycled parchment
As the one they blame
For being a silver medal

When will it be your time to shine?

WINTERS END

Decade
         solid
                solitary
                          years

Finally,
         the
              season
                       winter
                                ends . . .

With only sunsets beside my bed,
I sleep and wake up alone.
More than dozens,
I cried a river to scream my fret
for long long years,
I am committed, yet I walked alone.

Ice drizzled during the days
then it turned to hails
to cubes
and to iceberg..

U.N.B.R.E.A.K.A.B.L.E.

Days are boiling--
It welcomes summer for partnered swims.
I invited you but so sad you said a straight: "NO."
Hence by myself, I went to dive on ocean blue.
Years later, we both smell a baby's breath, one then two.
but still, it did nothing to resuscitate a love to bloom, true...

I shiver with the coldness mirrored on your stares,
my joints and muscles quiver
as I reach a state of hypothermia.

      Yearning and wanting...

                   I
                dare
            to embrace
    you a little while
like the snow melting under sun's glare,
oh! so slowly, you thaw my longing.

We are just a room apart
yet our feet seems frozen to start...
Not even once, we came to meet.
No talks. No grins. No hugs. No kiss.
Have our marriage years gone tarry
for just long ago, I agree to tie an endless love with you...?
What had happened,
Tearless now, but let me know!!!
Did Frosty the Snowman steal you from me?!

I followed Santa Claus advice
to be nice and never naughty.
I tried to be an angel--
with a halo never with a horn or tail.

Yet, I view the rolling years of us being together
all I can see is a steadfast rainfall of snowflakes...
Penetrating in between skinfolds
Containing me in a cold volcanic tremors.

Until one day, God must have heard me:
He answered my prayer allowing me to see
a lady candle's light: a window of hope.

Then lately, my frost clad self defrosts as she touched me.
She, surging strips of shine, her aura a blanket of warmth.
Pliant, she painted a portrait of sunshine into my daily life.
When I lay my head on bed sharp ten o'clock at night,
I see outside the blinking stars and the crescent moon.

Has blossoms of spring started to sprout within my days?
For no longer I shiver with absolute zero coldness rather
I triple tremble in tempo to meet my hearts hot demand
a final adieu to winters icy loveless land.
as lately somebody has taken hold of my hand..

I bask with the squeeze I received
for I found out, our hands, fit in one weave...

Thank You

Thank you for being rock solid for me
Allowing me to simply be
Give me space to come crashing down
To sing out of key to smile or frown

Thank you for being willing to stay
Each time I tried to run away
Hold me, kiss me till it passes
When I stare through gloomy glasses

Love me cos I'm yours to keep
Hold me while I fall asleep
Let me go so I can move
Marvel when I'm in the groove

When my brain and heart short circuit
Read the manual on how to work it
When I'm rushing slow me calmly
Be my strength when I go barmy

Understand my every act
No matter how the odds are stacked
And when I want to run and hide
Open your heart I'll climb inside

When I am loving sweet and tender
Welcome me, reflect, surrender
Give your life right by my side
And love each second of the ride

I just want my summertime
To be at a stand still.
Sometimes, when women cross my mind,
I'm not sure just what to feel.

I'd like to call her friend,
And I want us to mean something.
I can find several, yet in the end,
It seems like all I have is nothing.

So where is the evidence
That says I should move forward?
Show me a sign that's heaven sent;
A point I should move toward.

I've Scribbled This Song For You

I've Scribbled This Song For You...

I'm wasting my days,
my empty nights too,

I should have held on,
but I simply lost you,

now I stagger along,

wearing broken smiles,
in between hell and you,
there's a million miles,

yes, I should have kept,
you close to my skin,

soaking your warmth,
but you were laughing,

at my foolish grin...

now I'm all broken,
and torn apart,

but what the hell,
I was always late,
for the tolling of the bell,

and now...

now I stagger along,

wearing broken smiles,
in between hell and you,
there's a million miles,

so kiss me now like you once did,
I'm tired of being so carefully hid,

la laa laa la laa laa laa...

(repeat to fade)

(The Relativity of Beyond)

Bacteria, too small for human eyes
Engage their fight for life within our midst,
So unaware of Earth's gigantic spies
With microscopes and slides, who co-exist.

And tiny fish contained by walls of glass,
Oblivious to all that thrives outside,
In world of colored sand and plastic grass
Know not of ocean's roar or rhythmic tide.

And we, the wisest brothers of life's sea,
Who travel well the wonders of our home,
Are blinded by the endless mystery
Of space and time--horizons we can't roam.

What great dimension of the vast beyond
Makes Earth a microscopic vagabond?

YOU AND ONLY YOU

YOU AND ONLY YOU Strewn pebbles after a tide ballet for a pause So am I when still you are not by my side but God is good that even those pebbles when slowly gathered-- spell a good use... Pieces of me I consider blues and black Gladly, you constellate: creating a mosaic no longer you settled as a friend that consoles but you built something even rusts can't corrode --------------------------------------------------------------------- Vous et nul autre, Vous et nul autre, You and only you... From smile of sunrise to weeping break of night my love, you and only you I long to have and hold I want our eyes spark then lock on same shine I want your arms' warmth wrap around mine Vous et nul autre, Vous et nul autre, You and only you... Sensing strongly tonic trembles 'neath my fingertips I wonder what God was thinking when He created you for meeting you plays a life spring in crown of trees. To commitments said with kisses drawing life's game, Vous et nul autre, Vous et nul autre, You and only you... You and only you, I want to walk with forevermore. To your eyes, your nose and then to your lips, each kiss a speech of my love and thanks for thee, my Darling this I promise to do through eternity. ___________________________________________________ ***vous et nul autre (French) - You and nobody else but I reword it to --- You and only you. ***"I wonder what God was thinking when He created you" is a line from the song WHEN GOD MADE YOU by Natalie Grant and NEW SONG*** Music to my ears poetry contest - Poetry Contest Sponsor Name - Silent One Olive ELoisa Guillermo 9:58 pm, July 31, 2015

B-R-E-A-T-H - OF - L-O-V-E

B-R-E-A-T-H - OF - L-O-V-E Summer sun or winter freeze pulls heartstrings in trapeze. . . Cotton soft to gnarled callus vows have thread along my way embroidering ribbon actions to pliant swings of reactions like a darting fish thrilled to catch a passer-by knees. Two pairs of eye sew webs to bridge affection display, pines teeming green crown my arrested heart-- tachycardic I am... each time I hear your sound. Has breath of love tickled my nerves to interaction? Like a bee I'm drawn to your sweet ambiance 'round hoping by miracle it will birth me a fresh start. Scents that streams from bulbs swirl on wafting wind-- Ah! They all fell to shame for your breath of love tames. Once a rebel soul that long been thriving for satisfaction with breath of love that resuscitates, I mend my flame channeling muse to stroke the peak density of mind. Slender February breeze taunt my fingers to type rhymes that shy edge of reason. Eternally plunge in surrender I-- filled with breath of love ships my horizons to script stories in shades that lingers. . . ______________________________________________ ***Sponsor Shadow Hamilton Contest Name your Favourite Old Poem ++Placed 3rd++ ©O.E. Relationships

Can a relationship last without trust,
How long will a relationship last without genuine love,
What do you see when you look into your partners' eyes,
How do you feel when they are in your arms,
Are you comfortable with your sprouse,
Do you still see the sparks when you kiss,
Feel the energy when you curl up beside each other,
Do you still play and laugh with each other,
Or is abuse slowly creeping in,
Do you still make plans talk about future events,
Don't let your relationship become a daily drag,
Trust,genuine love,comfort,communication and care,
The spieces of a great relationship,
Season your relationship well,
And enjoy a life filled with love and more love...

Meaning of Life

Others, and my children, wanted to understand the meaning of life.
As I’d recently had surgery number 7, yes, gone under the knife.
It’s simple, you see… And it’s not so very hard to believe…
I once met God and understand, what for some, is hard to perceive.

That while we’re here, Love is what everything is all, totally, about.
We get… so very lost in the every day and the mundane, no doubt.
When almost gone, the love of friends, family, and life is like the sun.
When God asks what you’ve done, as you see the harm you’ve won.

You’ll cringe at those things, not left behind, but what you have done.
You’ll wish you’d stopped, helped lighten, others lifes, along life’s run.
So I’ve decided to make life brighter, if only with a little written fun.
I’ve helped strangers as I can, time and again… while life did run.

And yes there’s always someone we’ve hurt, and left behind in the dirt.
But we must try, and then must ask forgiveness for their, terrible hurt.
We can’t always see, how we hurt others, you see, we live under a veil.
That deadens the sight of what we have done to other’s lives, so all fail.

But we also… have been given the time and chance to do some right.
A kind word, a little help, to change the world, make it, more bright.
The miracles you see, are from others, that want the world, to be…
As God wants, full of love and full of, way more, abundant, good deeds.

We must try to make others smile, if only for a small, brief, little while.
Yes, we must try to make our life better, so to help others, some how.
And we must bow down and give thanks for our own, special, little lives.
For some, their mission is to help others, with them, to begin to thrive.

For some it is more, but with all, a simple spark of hope, takes them far.
Be God’s hand, even in small simple ways, give hope, along the way…

Can you feel it

Love in the air
can you smell it
Always so loud
can you hear it
Out on the Prowl
Can you see it
Always wanting more
Do you need it

Groundswell Girl - Named by JB

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire
Take me till we've lost count of the hours
enter this storybook tale
Where I can be the heroine you hail

My Star

Of all of the things
I like about you best,
that one special thing,
your, "apart from the rest".
Our creative adventures
are hands down, by far,
the best of my best times,
which makes you my star.

My former forevers
found paths of their own,
each playing their part
in the ways I have grown.
There's so much of me
I would never have known
had I not let my heart
take its chances when shown.

With a precedence set
of what to expect
disappointment was easy
to learn to accept.
Sharing my passions
was only a dream
and fairly uncommon,
or so did it seem.

It was after the breaking
and building of me,
you came to unlock
what's inside with your key.
One specially made
to be used in due time,
to finally see
my life's reasons in rhyme.

My creative companion,
my, "never to be"
was suddenly sharing
a lifetime with me.
How could I appreciate
such a rare find,
without having first lived
with a much different kind.

At times I'd reflect and wish
we had more past,
especially now
that the years go so fast.
I was being prepared
to be where you are,
here in my heaven
embracing my star.

Touch

Look at me And I’ll return your gaze But know not what you see Talk to me And I will answer But know not what you think Listen to me And I’ll tell you of me But know not what you hear But touch me And I will know you And understand that you Saw me Heard me Care

DO NOT REGRET

Regret not, my darling,

For

Yesterdays’ storm was not a curse for

Our relationship but a blessing

Since

It dissipated the clouds of misunderstanding

Allowing thus, the sun of our love, in all

Its glory, from now on, to shine!
