Old Soldiers

He sits in a wheelchair pushed to the curb. The people around him move aside to assure he is able to see. His shrunken body a shell of what it used to be. His breathing labored, aided by the tube that extends from the oxygen tank attached to his chair. On his head, he sports a blue campaign cap with VFW stitched in gold. He is one of America's finest, come to pay his respects.

Behind him stands a younger woman who has guided him there. A daughter perhaps, fussing over him, adjusting the robe in his lap, assuring his comfort. He shows no resistance to the attention, but simply sits and waits.

In the distance drums are heard, soon to be joined by the sound of horns. A stirring march riffles over the crowd, and an electricity grips their senses. Soon the call of cadence is heard. The measured tramp of boots, perfectly in time with the music. It grows louder until at last, a military formation looms into view. Uniformed soldiers, marching in perfect rows, perfect columns, gleaming boots, ribboned chests, weapons at rest on their shoulders. The crowd stirs. Small flags are waved. Cheers erupt. Pride hangs thick in the air.

The color guard approaches. Banners held high, snapping in the breeze. Some spectators remove their caps while others cover their hearts. Children, hoisted to their fathers shoulders, clap in excitement.

The old man tugs at the woman's sleeve and motions for her to come closer. She leans down and listens as he speaks, then asks "are you sure"?. He nods his head. Walking to the front of the chair, she removes the robe and, grasping his outstretched hands, pulls him slowly to his feet, where he stands with her assistance. Those around him watch as the frail, stooped body, with some difficulty, stands more erect. They see the pain etched on his face, and the tear that escapes his eye as he offers a salute as the flag passes by.

Suddenly, the cadence count stops, and in it's place is heard a command . A command normally reserved for when passing a reviewing stand. "Company, eyes right" the guidon bearer bellows, and with that, he returns the aging veterans salute, a sign of respect for an old soldier. After all, it is his flag. It is his country. He bought them both many years ago.

The Winds of Time

One day I was passing time
And wrote these words upon the lines,
I know not where they came you see
The Winds of Time were there for me.

If I could open a door to the past
And there before me were the paths
I'm not quite sure which I would choose
But The Winds of Time would see me through.

The vastness there before God's Hand
Then came the heavens, the seas, the land
Eden, Noah and the Christ Child's birth
Is the path that I see first.

I'm not into Knights or dragon days,
Nor Robin Hood and his saving ways,
But give me a Viking as he crosses the seas
And I'll dream of the lands so wild and free.

The music of Irland calls to me,
Where Kathleen's heart has ever been,
And for Danny Boy the fifes do call
I'll shed my tears lest he should fall.

As Immigrants touched upon our shores
The Indians prepared to fight once more,
But fate stepped in and eased the sore
They'd live in peace forever more.

The battles fought upon this land
To protect us from Tierney's hand,
The Civil War for Freedom's right
The Alamo where comrades died.

At Little Big Horn where our soldiers died,
As Indians defend their homes with pride,
The government later took a hand
And put them on Reservation land.

I remember well, when I was quite young
The days of World War II
And how my father's life did change
When the family business he assumed.

Twenty-four seven was unheard of then,
But that was their working day,
They helped keep our nations trucks on the road
Their battlefield was here in the USA.

I'll choose the path with pastures green,
Horses, cattle and the cowboy scene,
This is the land of my mother's birth
The most precious land to me on earth.

I chose this land and took a stand,
Married a cowboy and we ranched the land.
Though now retired and family gone
This land will always be our home.

The Winds of Time, know well my soul
I'll rest at night with days of yore.
And as I wake a prayer I'll say
Please God, may we have Peace today?

                       Cile Beer

Tin Can Sailors

The mighty 3rd to the north did steam,
Chasing a ghost not to be seen

Guard the landing your task assigned,
Quiet the day is to be benign

At dawn the Imperial fleet does appear,
Surprise complete, ranging fire splashes near

Outnumbered and out gunned, duty is clear,
Close the range you must in spite of your fear

Laying smoke, a jagged course you take,
An account of yourselves you will make

Steel your heart and make sure your eye,
For each salvo keeps you alive

Toe-to-toe the battle, you exchange mighty blows,
Triumph impossible, yet into the fray you all go

In perfect rhythm, the mad dance goes on,
As smoke filled gunhouse loads powder and shot

Decks strewn with the dead and dying,
Teams repair to keep the ensign flying

Struck and struck again, yet to point blank you steam,
Hard to port, you cross the “T”

“All guns to fire at the turn, torpedoes away!”
The enemy scatters in disarray

Too late, mortal blows you take
To the deep, no more your enemy to rake

One final salute their captain does render,
For you fought to the death and did not surrender

On this all men do still agree,
These were the finest two hours of Taffy 3

*****************************************
On October 25th, 1944, 3 destroyers and 4 destroyer escorts of Task Force
Taffy 3 engaged a combined force of Imperial Japanese Navy battleships and
cruisers in a 2 hour running gun battle to protect the escort carriers and troop
transports taking part in the Leyte Gulf landings in the Philippines. Two of the
three destroyers and one of the escorts were sunk while sinking three
Japanese heavy cruisers and damaged three more. Due to the fierceness of
the attack, the Japanese fleet retired from the area thinking they had been
attacked by a much larger force. At the outset of the battle, the commanding
officers of these 7 ships, without orders, individually decided to attack and
headed at flank speed to the fight all knowing they would most likely not
survive the day. Almost 1600 did not. In a final act of respect, the commander
of one Japanese cruiser saluted the crew of an American ship that had just
sunk as his ship passed them floating in the water.

New Start for Captain Mazy

Wading through flooded streets as hurricane rain poured
A man fell into the flow when sharp thunder roared
As a journalist reporting live from the scene
I saw lightning crack through the sky, heard the man scream

“Is he homeless?” I asked the emergency crew
The director shook his head; the answer he knew
“He lives in our park now, but served in Vietnam
He saved his entire unit from the Viet Cong.”

The team pulled him from the gutter to the shelter
I brought him tea, forgot I was a reporter
I asked why he’d screamed, his memory seemed hazy
“Did you hear the bombs drop?” asked Captain Bob Mazy

The emergency director took me aside
“We call him Crazy Mazy,” he did confide
He suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder
Can’t live with the lives he took following orders.”

When Hurricane Kate passed o’er the Gulf Coast
I’d seen much destruction, but remembered Mazy most
His story I broadcasted and vets contacted me
The donations poured in; so many gave freely

Soon we’d accumulated twenty-five grand
Just enough to buy Mazy an acre of land
Then people from his home state gathered one weekend
To build him a home, much effort they expended

Several social workers set up counseling services
To meet all his needs, everyone made concessions
Local stores gave him clothing, food, even a job
No longer “Crazy Mazy,” he was now just Bob

A gentle man who soon overcame all his fears
On Memorial Day, he was greeted by cheers
Accolades he’d never heard when he returned from Nam
But attitudes had changed and people’s hearts had warmed

The Final Battle

I look up from the valley and I see the mountaintop. Up where the air is clearer and gentle breezes never stop. Where the eagle’s nest can be seen in a mighty cypress tree God’s awesome splendor is waiting there for all the world to see. In an effort to get closer to the one who made it all I will climb the lofty mountain and listen for His call. And when His call is heard and His orders are made clear I will join His mighty army as the final battle nears. The evil one will also gather all his minions here And the battle that will follow will make nations disappear. For all the blood that’s shed will, like a river, flow And the valley will not be the same as the valley that we know. The righteousness of God will certainly prevail And Satan’s wicked army shall ultimately fail. So if you want to be there to see how it comes out Let destiny lead you and there will be no doubt. I'm Standing -(Anaphora)

I’m standing in the gap for children everywhere.
Wandering this world of sin and doesn’t have a prayer.

I’m standing in the gap for soldiers everywhere.
Fighting an earthly war and dodging bullets everywhere.

I’m standing in the gap for the families that are lost
So their souls will turn back to God
and they will come boldly to the cross.

I’m standing in the gap for my sisters and my brothers.
We must stop this war of hatred
And return to loving one another.

I’m standing in the gap for all of my fellow poets.
That your minds will be strengthened and
                          Your soul will be touched.

I’m standing in the gap for everyone who says pray for me.
I will intercede for you friends. No matter what the need.
I will pray for your protection all through out the day.
I will pray for your healing and the increasing of your faith.
I will pray for guidance as you go from place to place.
I will pray for His love, Mercy and Peace be with you this very day.

I’m standing in the gap for Ezekiel 22:30 says..And I sought for a man
Among them that , should make up the hedge, and
stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it:
                                                       but I found none.
I Am Standing In the Gap….

Thank you....

Plockton - Wester Ross

The greatest holiday gift I ever received
Goes back so many, many years
Before my life became turmoiled
And before my tears for fears

I was a child like many out there
Torn, strewn and split of kin
Mother and father in differences
Confused at seven, wearing their same skin

For I was one of the lucky ones
To a Highland Estate I would go
It's on the west coast of Scotland
Where my holidays desired me so

Secretly I internally smiled
For a whisper of where I was heading
To live with a movie star hero
No longer my life was in dreading

We were picked up by a man so fine
His manners were an absolute joy
Regimental he was in his approach
To me, just a seven year old boy

We travelled through the village of Plockton
Crystal clear waters edged to it's shore
I knew from this very moment
Being here ebbed previous family sores

On entering his house I was in awe
Movie pictures came to my view
They were images of James Bond
At seven I was totally through

A voice called to me
Hey James! sit down and I'll tell you me
Still in circles in walking awe
This is what he told thee

My name is Patrick Dalzel Job
In the Second World War I served
But this recognition I bestow
Humbles me to it's deserve

This honour that's been given
Was blessed by a colleague in war
What desired Ian Fleming to be so striven
Possibly, what we were fighting for

We served on the same destroyer
Fighting to make the future free
His tribute, in his novels I became
James Bond, it's incredibly me

Not many seven year olds have stayed with James Bond.
This seven year old Scot's boy has, maybe I learnt?

TO LOVE YOUR COUNTRY

To love your country,
you must commit yourself indefinetly;
there are no doubts, or fears
when it comes to defend it fervently..
do it for the sake of your family,
or your countrymen who wish for peace!

They will send you to distant lands,
away from your loved ones...
to uphold freedom and its sanctity,
and you'll shine with bravery!

Anytime peace is threatened,
you'll retaliate and engage in combat,
true soldiers always fight with self-confidence,
never retreat in any circumstance!

There'll be days of fright , of darkness and despair,
and nights to shed tears on cold pillows;
no tender eyes to glance into or arms to embrace,
but surrendering distorts your honor!

As the mission comes to its end suddenly,
and you are one of the surviivors to declare victory,
although you'll also grieve for the fallen ones:
you'll wave your flag to the calmest skies!

To love your country,
you must avail yourself of dignity
and protect its borders vigilantly;
be aware of its tremendous cost:
risk your own life,or allow
the enemy to toast!

The Universal Man

I shall live and die By my own accord Only my God may judge me To him I've proved my worth I am still here fighting It matters not what for On my ship of righteousness Headed for waters unexplored The clear night sky will darken And the clouds seem ominous I take heed to the sure signs From them I won't digress They are in the way of my dreams And hopes that fill my sails Like the wind from my heaven Keeps my skin tough as nails Evil comes to tempt me I am not immune Sometimes I play the hero Other times I'm just a fool Either way the choice is mine I make it with my free will For that's the gift he gave me And for what I fight for still The government is coming To bring a chaos they call order The line has been drawn Between two sides there is a border I feel myself being torn To choose a fate in stone Let this be a lesson Why I wander on my own Minds can be controlled I see it every day The weak wills fall like dominos That lie littering my way An obstacle before me I iron will it to the end And when the devil comes to dance with me I have already started to transcend into everything around I am the universal man my true form I shall disguise I am hiding it from this great Satan they say will come for my demise I know he will find me maybe he already has in a long gone nightmare that my soul he stole at last if I remember correctly I can't say I recall ever escaping his grip or did it ever touch me at all?

Human Beings Being Human

It would be great if human beings
Were great at being human
And if all of mankind
Were made up of kind men
It would be wonderful if common knowledge
Was knowledge commonly known
And if the light from being enlightened
Into every heart was shown

It would be fantastic if the war to end all wars
Was the last war that we fought
It would be amazing if we learned the lessons
From every lesson we were taught
It would be cool if our freedom
To us was freely granted
And if every seed of kindness
Would grow wherever planted

It would be glorious if neighbors were neighborly
And prejudice a forgotten word
It would be awesome if we shared everything
And being greedy was absurd
It would be spectacular if the golden rule
Was golden to every man
And the good things that we ever did
Was everything that we can

End of days

Take these shackles and give ‘em to the bear, tell her I’ve gone home
Take these shackles and throw ‘em to the wind, I’ll live like that no more
Gonna find me the weapon that can kill off Mutley, end his child like rage
Gonna find me a whet stone, sharpening my sword, gonna end his blinkered ways

I killed off Mutley
In this war inside I wage
I killed off Mutley
And it means the end of days

Come a long way from our second city, I’m a long way from home
Come a long way from our second city and I’ll go there no more
Gonna find me a crag deep in the mountains, got to mend that old dog’s ways
Gonna find a lost city deep in the desert, make sure the flee pit pays

I killed off Mutley
In the war inside I wage
I killed off Mutley
And it means the end of days

Take this message for me, carry it home, tell ‘em I am no more
Take this message for me, carry it home, tell ‘em the evils gone
I found my mountain, out in the world, it wouldn’t forgive my ways
As I soar down the valley, out of this world, I know this old dog paid

I killed off Mutley
In the war inside I wage
I killed off Mutley
And it means the end of days

Mockingbird Still Sings

Children sexually abused
Hiding secrets none accused
Mockingbird still sings

False Charities stealing money
Laughing while nothing’s funny
Mockingbird still sings

Corporations shredding evidence
Seas of hypocrisy and decadence
Mockingbird still sings

Cheating partners losing trust
Teens pregnant from a night of lust
Mockingbird still sings

Rape victims ashamed to speak
Lives destroyed remaining meek
Mockingbird still sings

Middle East raging in war
All for pride nothing more
Mockingbird still sings

Delicate babies addicts born
Crack whore moms selling porn
Mockingbird still sings

Gang bangers need attention
Killing for an honorable mention
Mockingbird still sings

Fools and vengeance shall expire
For winds of change to transpire
While mockingbird still sings

Diversity

Distinct tones paint our skins,
eyes per chance not set the same.
Strange sounds oft gush forth
As we tongue another's name.

Differing tenets fill our heads,
Our origin is sundry places.
Yet in these times of crises,
Americans, having divergent faces.

I'm indebted to the heroes,
To God and country in which I live.
For those who grieve our fallen,
For still others, who unselfishly give?

Today as I survey old glory,
flying at half-mast a sky.
I observe black billowing smoke,
'Amongst a dampened eye

As I consider Cadavers yet unfound,
Neath terrorist strewn debris.
I know our world will not exist,
As previously seen by me.

This is about you

When you have downfall on your mind chaos is all a mind can find, its time to change all the things you had held so deep inside, they cause rage, your trapped in while your caught up in the cage of life an easy life with out strife, no more pain or struggle inside a bubble and you want to make it burst, but first things first you know the times that come will be the worst, because its change you want, and you will taunt the ones who set the curse. They say if you want to change a little then its your choice, but if you want to change a lot they must first hear your voice, loud enough for all to hear, listen and all of the problems soon disappear, just know that the world can be a bleak one and people dont always listen so you cannot only speak once, so when the end is near you can look back at the goodtimes throughout all the years think about all the times and cheer, and thank god you lived this long and your still here. Be remembered only for the words you spoke, for you do not want to be invisioned inside a cloud of smoke, watch as they listen when you start to feel the choke on the thoughts about your life,a bad life, a black life, envoloped in fear you were hoping that the man would hear, and maybe take a listen, to diamonds in your mind as you watch them glisten. finally move to a position, and open your ears and let your mind be clear, and hear the wisdom spoken from the person on the otherside of the mirror, society sobriety with out a clue just sit and ponder at the deepest thoughts that are revealed in you...

Memorial Day 2004

I close my eyes,
and yet I see a flag draped casket,
And as if there, I hear the synchronic
report of rifles,
and the echo of taps that rides the
morning zephyrs.
Perhaps no image portrays the cost of
my freedom,
such as these mental souvenirs gathered
from each war.
They have allowed me, in thought,
to separate fallen heroes from body bags,
while forcing me to review
Another debt,
which also, I can never repay.

The Armor of God

In ancient times when knights were bold,
They dressed in armor, so we're told.
When they went out to face their foe,
Their armor protected them head to toe.

Christians we must do the same,
Or be struck down by Satan's aim.
His flaming arrows fly all around,
Intending to knock us to the ground.

So put on God's armor without delay,
We need His protection everyday.
For our struggle is not against what we can see,
But the powers of darkness are our enemy.

Stand firm then and dress with all haste,
Start with truth buckled 'round your waist.
Satan fights dirty by spreading lies,
But the belt of God's truth will make us wise.

Next is the Breastplate of Righteousness,
That God provides for all who are His.
It's the righteousness of Christ covering you,
That the evil one cannot stand up to.

Now cover your feet with the readiness of,
Sharing God's gospel of peace and love..
Take the Shield of Faith and keep it near,
To deflect Satan's arrows of confusion and fear.

Place the Helmet of Salvation firmly on your head,
It will keep Satan's lies from filling you with dread.
He wants to make you doubt your salvation is sure,
But the helmet will guard your mind and keep you secure.

Your armor is complete, but now you need a sword,
So take the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of the Lord.
God's Word is sufficient to defend or attack.
With God's Word in your heart you can hold Satan back.

With your armor in place and your Sword in your hand,
Be strong in the Lord and in His power stand.
And pray in the Spirit at all times and all ways,
Cause the enemy trembles when Saints start to pray!

Joy in the Morning (Seven-by-Seven)

Tempest of the raging storm
Bellowing clouds up ahead
Ocean waves jumping like rope
Shattering lighting striking
Thunder roaring like boulders
Peace unto the wind be still
Joy cometh in the morning

Martyr for the Unorthodox word

If I had over 10,000 dreams You'd be the only thing my mind could see Judgment couldn't be real Succumbing to the fear of this cold life Find a way to break through The self-destruction of wordly delusions Don't tell me I've lived so long in a lovely illusion Break me down until we find a Nirvanic state Then bring me a savior from transgressions An atoning sacrifice Send down to me a messenger for me to submit to Bring me the truth to break through The delusion Bring me the messenger to explain it all And let me leave behind Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Without a will to fight But I have the Means to be free I'll try to go with the word I believe But so many stones to be thrown Stakes to burn, limbs to break Faces to hate, scorns to taste Will I have the will to die Despite all of the tears no one will cry Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Broke my will Safetefied my soul Martyr for the Unorthodox word Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Without a will to fight But I have the Means to be free I'll try to go with the word I believe But so many stones to be thrown Stakes to burn, limbs to break Faces to hate, scorns to taste Will I have the will to die Despite all of the tears no one will cry Sorrow's caressing the earth The caliphate stole my heart Broke my will Safetefied my soul Martyr for the Unorthodox word

An Okie's Lament

Oh, America,
my beloved America.
The world owns your soul,
and chortles as catastrophe comes.

Bartered was your legacy,
for riotous living,
and pottage no longer gratifies
your innards cravings.

Terrorist lambaste your innocent,
and spread false doctrines.
Fear and anxiety hold you captive,
casting foreboding shadows o'er your land.

As a mongrel wallowing in its vomit,
so it is, you and your sin.
Having no vision of signet ring and fatted calf,
your robe now drapes a self righteous frame.

Has the line in the sand been crossed?
While your flag still flies, the eagle soars,
and your Statue of Liberty stands erect,
return unto the father.

Oh America,
my beloved America,
God loves thee more than I.

Solomon Mahlangu: My Blood will Nourish the Tree that will Bear the Fruits of Freedom

(special thanks to a friend who shared this tribute to Solomon Mahlangu)

Solomon Mahlangu: My Blood will Nourish the Tree that will Bear the Fruits of Freedom:

Solomon Mahlangu was trained as an MK soldier with a view to later rejoining the struggle in the country.

He left South Africa after the Soweto Uprising of 1976 when he was 19 years old, and was later chosen to be part of an elite force to return to South Africa to carry out a mission commemorating the June 16th 1976 Soweto student uprising.

After entering South Africa through Swaziland and meeting his fellow comrades in Duduza, on the East Rand (east of Johannesburg), they were accosted by the police in Goch Street in Johannesburg.

In the ensuing gun battle two civilians were killed and two were injured, and Mahlangu and Motloung were captured while acting as decoys so that the other comrade could go and report to the MK leadership.

Motloung was brutally assaulted by the police to a point that he suffered brain damage and was unfit to stand trial, resulting in Mahlangu facing trial alone.

He was charged with two counts of murder and several charges under the Terrorism Act, to which he pleaded not guilty.

Though the judge accepted that Motloung was responsible for the killings, common purpose was argued and Mahlangu was found guilty on two counts of murder and other charges under the Terrorism Act.

On 15 June 1978 Solomon Mahlangu was refused leave to appeal his sentence by the Rand Supreme Court, and on 24 July 1978 he was refused again in the Bloemfontein Appeal Court.

Although various governments, the United Nations, International Organizations, groups and prominent individuals attempted to intercede on his behalf, Mahlangu awaited his execution in Pretoria Central Prison, and was hanged on 6 April 1979.

His hanging provoked international protest and condemnation of South Africa and Apartheid.

In fear of crowd reaction at the funeral the police decided to bury Mahlangu in Atteridgeville in Pretoria.

On 6 April 1993 he was re-interred at the Mamelodi Cemetery, where a plaque states his last words:

‘My blood will nourish the tree that will bear the fruits of freedom.

Tell my people that I love them.

They must continue the fight.’

Mahlangu died for a cause!

Salute!

The Struggle Continues…

We Salute Our Veterans This Memorial Day

We salute every soldier who’s served this great nation. And offer a heart of thanks and appreciation! We salute each member of our armed forces. And are thankful for their efforts and resources! We salute the many who protect our borders too. We’d be in trouble… If not for people like YOU! We salute every son and daughter lost in a war. YOU are what serving this country is meant for! We salute the officers who’ve guided our women and men. Our prayers are with you! And our love from within! We salute our veterans! Wherever they may be! Those who served on land, air and sea! Offering prayer to the Lord is our belief… That he will guide our Commander-in-Chief! As we observe Memorial Day this year… Let’s offer our soldiers love, hope and cheer! May God bless them in all they endeavor And his peace be with them today and forever!! By Jim Pemberton

Generic Minds

generic minds listen to generic music
have generic thoughts that are unknowingly abusive
watch generic things talk about generic things
gee this generic *****is spreading like a disease
better get your flu shot
thats what they said to me
a suicidal vaccine
a subliminal killing spree
its contagious and the outrageous
thing about it is that the people are blind in an eye
that they didn't even know they had
it's sickening to watch these clueless civilians
inside the looking glass
with nightmares of being free
without a key to their mind
for it is trapped in the frequency
in the illusion of time
bathed in our universe
killing all that refuse to see
those that admit to hypocracy
or see the message in hip hop
how cant you see
the message in the lyrics that
bring adolescents to their knees
from bullet wounds conflicting their flesh
contradicting that they're the best
but the songs keep telling them that they dont need no rest
that they dont wanna go home
that they should ride alone
with the gat as their only companion
and so the only path they choose is the one that they're told
until they grow old and hope turns to a window pane
inside a window pane, until all they feel is pain
they realize that the music itself is ashamed
so whats to look up to
when you cant even speak when you cant even walk because you look so bleak
your eyes are sunken from the tv you're infested with the dee zees
now its too late to turn around and live for your conscious
so when youre screaming oh please
close your eyes and bring your mind to life
open your eyes for the first time
and never wonder why
since the answer this entire time
has been inside
and you better find it before you die
you dont want your soul to be in a pool with all the others
a buncha brothers missing their mothers
but only seeing strangers
only feeling the haters
wishing they would have used their minds when they had them
and now its too late,
now it's time for another new born fate to grab them

I'm Going Home

,

Lord thank you for this life,
As I have lived a full life,
It was not always as I would have like,
But I lived it to the best of what I could,
I’m going home; Home to the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me,
I have been a long weary believer,
As I’ve been away to long,
I now know what I’ve been searching for,
As He's been there in me all along,
I’m going home; Home is the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me,
I have been and seen lots of places in life’s journey,
Now I yearn for familiar faces in familiar places,
I hear familiar voices calling me to come home,
I see familiar faces looking at me,
I’m going home; Home is the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me,
My time is near, the hour I know not,
I see Jesus' face across the Heaven’s,
I hear His soft sweet voice calling me home,
I can’t wait for my real life to begin,
I’m going home; Home is the place I want to be,
I’m going home to Jesus where He waits for me.

Grandfather

Here lies the best Grandfather,
One who was very considerate.
Remembering him as a child,
I would sit on his lap.
He was a rare person indeed.
He was a colonel in the Army.
Also superlative of a gentelman.
Here lies the best grandfather,
May he rest in peace.

This Memorial Day We Salute Our Veterans

We salute every soldier who’s
 served this great nation.
And offer a heart of thanks
 and appreciation!

We salute each member
of our armed forces.
And are thankful for their
 efforts and resources!

We salute the many who
protect our borders too.
We’d be in trouble…
If not for people like YOU!

We salute every son and
daughter lost in a war.
YOU are what serving this
 country is meant for!

We salute the officers who’ve
guided our women and men.
Our prayers are with you!
And our love from within!

We salute our veterans!
Wherever they may be!
Those who served on
 land, air and sea!

Offering prayer to the
 Lord is our belief…
That he will guide our
 Commander-in-Chief!

As we observe
Memorial Day this year…
Let’s offer our soldiers
 love, hope and cheer…

May God bless them in
 all they endeavor
And his peace be with them
 today and forever!!

A Written Soldiers Fight

A supreme soldier walks truly alone in the depths of night
he is soft spoken from a life of being so hard that he was stoned until his eyes filled red bloodshot in his sight
he notices what he once thought to be? Was wrong and very far from right
So he asks God for forgiveness from his very own darkness that it may to like his Redemption be shone upon his lost light
He knows its no longer about the bullets in this battle for it is the words in his very own Mind that will matter most in this life among death upon a written soldier's fight.....

Solipsist

Let the Deicide commence.

You're a voyeur at best!
Your vampiric heart is beating out of your chest!
And you have slayed the ones whom would love you for anything less
Ready to consume the final fragments of innocence,
And for you there is no forgiveness,
On your knees pleading, screaming to a tyrant in the skies;
The father of lies.

I will never be enslaved in your superiority
The people agree: jaded of your false dichotomies.
Know: I will be whomever nature intends to be
Apollo and I will share our dreams,
and you will be forced to see
your failure!

I know who you are...
Readily the first to present your scars
Chained by some despot or mental czar
An emotional homunculus in your mind, behind bars
Reluctant to escape - even when proven fake
Your demented mind - depths no one will penetrate!

...And you see me suffering
Not caring of any casualties
Just as long you recieve your safeguard of sympathy
So very wary of the masses and their Anarchy; Liberious ways

Solipsist - Is there no one you can see?
Even if she was presented burning?
Solipsist - Is there no one you can believe?
Even if Sophia was screaming?
Solipsist - Know you have killed and abused me
Imprisoned in your own personal reality

The Walking Man

The walking man walks with no place to go,
Head tucked down with his eyes lookin' low.
We gotta reach out
We gotta hold his hand
We gotta reach out
To the walking man

He's seen it all, lived the wars out there.
Now he's blowing around like a leaf in the air.
We gotta reach out
We gotta hold his hand
We gotta reach out
To the walking man

Walking man don't mean no harm he don't mean to lie.
He's just one careless face from a way to die, a way to fly, to say goodbye…..

So it's you and me and the walking man makes three;
Such a better number to be.

He's tired and warn like a piece of coal,
But he could light the city with the light in his soul.
We gotta reach out
We gotta hold his hand
We gotta reach out
To the walking man

Walking man don't mean no harm he don't mean to lie.
He's just one careless face from a way to die, a way to fly, to say goodbye…..

Because it's you an me and the walking man makes three;
Such a better number to be

Home of the Slaves

Land of the free
Home of the slaves
The blood, sweat and tears of my ancestors resonate
Amongst the soil where they were slain
I’m hearing their struggle
I’m feeling their pain
I can’t imagine being forced to part from my family
All for massa’s gain
So I pay homage to those who promoted change

People like every slave who tried to escape
Nat Turner, Ms Carlotta, Harriet Tubman
And the safe houses who were in accord
And peg leg Joe with his song
Follow the drinking gourd.

People like, the disregarded - those thrown overboard
And who was dismissed and defamed
The ones who were stripped of their soul, their pride, their names

The list could go on
The full will never be told
So I pay homage to others who were bold
Like John Brown, The Freedom Riders, Sojourner Truth
Ida B Wells, Phyllis Wheatley, Maya Angelou,
Langston Hughes and Charles Drew

George Washington Carver, Ruby Bridges
Booker T Washington and Mary McCleod Bethune
Charles Houston, Ralph Bunche, Fredrick Douglass
WEB Dubois, Paul Robeson, Ralph Abernathy
Benjamin Banneker, Marcus Garvey and Crispus Attucks
Who’s death by the way
Symbolized the American lie
You cant declare the rights of all men
While the people of African decent rights get denied
But still we rise

Thanks to Dr Martin Luther King, Malcolm X,
The Black Panthers, the Buffalo Soldiers and Tuskegee Airmen
None who were showed any love
Yeah it’s an uphill battle,
But obviously greatness can be done.

We can rise above this stigma
That blacks are lazy and daunting
That our worth is null and void
And in essence minus nothing
And of all the names mentioned
And the greatness of their successes
No one has been able to erase the evil transgressions of a racist mind
And once you have experienced just a taste of it
It changes your perception of time
The oppression beats like the drum on the chariot
Of when it was finally time to escape to freedom
It's mine

Trilogy

She splendid came before the light of dawn,
Emerged from Halls of deep memoir's efface;
'Let me express my love in eyes and ways,
before death turns me back to granite stone.'

Embraced were we while the winds raced moaning,
our strings of lives joined outside of mute grief;
there was a hope left when the arcane Nymph
fled East, towards the first light of morning.
..............

Unvirtuous sons of metamorphosis,
vociferous assault - lives to degrade,
with cymbals' wrothly thump, my land invade,
drums' beat enacts my apotheosis.

They cut me thrice and once as I slaughter,
grotesque barbarians, that fight entranced;
I prayed to dawns' refulgent light; enhanced
their monstrous growls fly with a twilit bird.

Accented their trilogy - immoral,
from deep wounds - inferior weep their cries,
euphoric Spring forces them to baptize
in anaphoric flowing red to flora.
..............

She splendid came before the light of dawn,
Emerged from Halls of deep memoir's efface;
'Let me express my love in eyes and ways,
before death turns me back to granite stone.'

Black and White

You’ve maddened me to the core
You singed me with your ferocious fire
We’re opposites… we’ll never integrate
We can’t blend with each other…
Your love and I’m hate
We’re contrary to each other…

So don’t even think about
Getting us back together
Because without a doubt,
We don’t click with each other…

So let us go our own way…

Everything’s black and white
You love to torture me with your deceptive devices
We’re playing this chess match – let’s fight!
Tonight, you’re going to pay the prices
You’re going to be deleted from my mind…

I’m not the one that should pay the price
You act as if you’re an angel from heaven
But, you’re a fiend…a devil from hell...who needs your advice?
Could someone unchain me from this prison?

So let us prepare for that day…

Fear and bewilderment build inside of our minds
Taking over us…we’re wasting valuable time
Terror and wrath injects into our veins…time starts to unwind
I’m regaining my glory…this moment feels so sublime

You think you’re innocent?
I can sense your guilt…bleeding through you
Do you live to feed me anguish?
Don’t deny it…you crafty demon…no wonder I feel blue

Let’s get ready for battle…
I’ll watch you decay…
IT’S PAY BACK TIME . . .
Taste my fury and my agony

Everything’s black and white
You love to torture me with your deceptive devices
We’re playing this chess match – let’s fight!
Tonight, you’re going to pay the prices
You’re going to be defeated…

I scream before nightfall
I close my eyes to kiss my demise
I want to disappear
Scratch away my desolation
Wipe away my tears…
Spewing out of my eyes…like a waterfall
Tonight, there will be dismay
There will be suffering
After sundown…
Failure and glory will expose like stars in the midnight sky
Who will earn the crown?
No one knows in silent wars – who can reveal the light in goodbye

Why are we black and white?
Are you too afraid to know the reason why?

Everything’s black and white
You love to torture me with your deceptive devices
We’re playing this chess match – let’s fight!
Tonight, you’re going to pay the prices
You’re going to suffer alone…

Righteous and Just

Righteous and just shall inherit the earth
The lord does chastise me so I see Him
Placed me in poverty pray I do right

Sinned throughout my life now I must think twice
Each and every hour this debt I owe
Righteous and just shall inherit the earth

Turn their backs they have people that I know
Failing in belief cause my will I give thee
Placed me in poverty pray I do right

A different path to walk to you I go
My destination is known you I fear
Righteous and just shall inherit the earth

Your punishment severe pain I endure
Forgiveness be time in you faith I trust
Placed me in poverty pray I do right

No longer without sight you freed my mind
The sanctuary I seek found in you
Righteous and just shall inherit the earth
Placed me in poverty pray I do right

The Duchess Of Paradise

She's highly sophisticated and full of undefiled wisdom
Yet a crowned Duchess in a paradise kingdom
Quite a beautiful angel flying with black wings
Covered in gold jewelry and precious things
She dresses like the women of ancient Egyptian class
Her wealth is generous and her money grows like grass
She loves orange scented candles with dark room flame
She rules thirty legions of soldiers and Bune is her name
Her comely warrior voice can wake and relocate the dead
Her armies of soldiers gather around the cemetery
She is brave and deserves a princessly crown on her head
Her facility of speech and flair for words is legendary
A beautiful queen to be treated with respect and honor
Instead of blasphemy, wanton abuse and fictional horror

10 Little fingers 10 little toes 2 little eyes

10 Little fingers 10 little toes 2 little eyes everyday they save a life.
Every day she will arise to go to work 9-5 flipping burger's and dunking fry's.
10 Little fingers 10 little toes 2 little eyes everyday they save a life.
Every day hold's a new surprise from those 10 little fingers 10 little toes and 2 little eyes.
one day shell realize 10 Little fingers 10 little toes 2 little eyes are not so little any more.
Those 10 little fingers get bigger and one has a ring on it.
Those 10 little toe's get bigger no longer barefoot a boot on each.
Those 2 little eyes no longer so little looking strait up the middle ready for combat.
10 Little fingers 10 little toes 2 little eyes everyday they save a life.
Her 10 Little finger's 5 little toe's 2 little eye's finally come home.
and like I said 10 Little fingers 10 little toes 2 little eyes saved Their life.

The purple heart

There's a story id like to tell,
about a strong and brave marine,
a man to be called a true hero,
for all hes been through and seen.
You see this marine was far from home,
serving his country, and fighting with pride,
doing a job only a few can do,
with those very few by his side.
One day he set out,
on a mission that's better left untold,
this marine couldn't have seen it coming,
as a series of events unrolled.
This marine was severly wounded,
and now has to live with the scars of war,
but even though he has a long road ahead,
he'll always remember what he was fighting for.
In honor of this marine,
who did more than his part,
we salute, and thank you,
with the purple heart.

Sunken Tears

                                   He stood bravely before me
with a medal of honor in his right hand
and a bandage of agony around his left knee
It seemed like he had struggled to stand,
his crutches lay useless on the ground
I found it hard to understand why,
a soldier in pain didn't even frown
With a voice firm but dry
his words shook me like thunder
"You're now the man of this house"
he uttered like a worn-out hunter
quivering up my legs like a terrified mouse
Drowning my mind through cold ears
he passed his sincere respect and sunken tears

Stand Tall (based on Aragorn's speech at the Black Gate in The Return of the King)

Stand tall, as Ents, and plant your courage deep,
When from Mordor, foul and heedless beasts descend.
Not on this day shall Sauron's shadows sweep.
Stand tall, as Ents, and plant your courage deep.
Nor falter not this fellowship we keep,
Though swords may shatter, shields may rend.
Stand tall, as Ents, and plant your courage deep,
When from Mordor, foul and heedless beasts descend.

WE ARE INDEPENDENCE!

We are Tausug Nation
Defending independence
Free from the enemies
Stood not to get oppressed

Our Nation ruled
Of the country’s independence
Never conquered from then
We shall develop our land

Our country, nation is known
Home of courageous person
Bound only in one faith
Never care of the death

Tumantangis, Dahu peaks of our land
To Bagsak, Sinumaan
And to all the mountains here
Only one God is aimed

Zamboanga, Basilan, North Borneo, Palawan
Centre is in Sulu land
Ruled by the Sultan
From the early point of time

Our nation is united
In the name of faith is complete
Only God is firm
Determined not to get conquered

Land of the pearl garden
Sulu Sea in the world is famous
From the South and North
And East and West

Blood of Martyrs flowed in the vein of the Sug Nation
Fought to defend
Flag rose like Vinta strip
Eternal pledge appeared

Open your eyes

The mind is the most powerful of them all.
As a matter of fact it's what makes the call.
But are we so blinded by what we see?
Caught in the news, tabloids, and the things on T.V.

Society making people weak.
Because they're trying to get in,
to fit in; wanting to be seen.

Our lives are vanishing before our eyes,
but it's covered up by all the nonsense
and believable lies.

How long will this continue?
How many lost lives?

Who will stop the bleeding?
comfort the cries?

We are walking our own journey
with our own baggage.
Messed up and transformed from all
the harmful damage.

Still there is no one willing to step up
and take the challenge.
to destroy the evil desires of these harmful
savages.

However it is never too late for us all
to hold hands.
To demand for a change and take a strong
stand.

Reaching out to those who are in need;
by giving up our own wealth and filthy greed.
Taking a stand for those who can't do it themselves.
Being there for support and to bring help.

No matter how near or far a person may be,
just open your eyes and try to see.
Not the news, tabloids, or things on T.v
but the lives of those who are suffering.

Medieval Camelot

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Great King Arthur and Lancelot’s well-known fame.
But there was yet another knight, of great glory and great fame, never named.
His name was whispered constantly, everywhere, around those hollowed halls.
For no one wanted to be near when he passed by, on his famous unerring walks.

A knight so very gallant, that he would bow to: every fashion of maiden, high or low.
So fierce his life could not be taken, no matter how sharp the blade, they did throw.
A musical quality followed him everywhere, and his livery was absolutely divine.
He would have been the perfect knight, except for one minor, itty bitty, tiny flaw…

What was his name, you may ask, and what led to such glory and illustrious fame?
He was Sir Dragon Sparkle Farts, and yes, you can guess, what earned him that name.
You see, an evil witch, he once did fight, and yes… he absolutely won, most verily.
But before the witch became undone, she sprinkled a curse upon his own, to be.

Whenever others are about, you guessed it, yet again; he had sparkle farts, my friend.
Do not laugh; he was to all, a dearest friend. Tho the trouble caused, was rampant, in the end.
You see, in that time the villages were all made with beautifully made, thatched roofs…
He flew betwixt and between, yet, an occasional spark now airborne, did veer off, poof!

So for the most part he walked in town, though the wheat fields were often, set off.
At least the castle was made of stone, though many a tapestry did not survive, well off.
Indeed, a water bucket brigade, became put at his disposal, simply all the time, amen!
And nobody did tickle him, for fames from both ends, became quite rampant then.

Laughter did, yes, the same… But hiccups brought utter flame throwing despair, to all.
Still he was a beloved knight, so the round table was set to keep his back, to the wall.
The knights all stuck together, thru thick and thin, and yes, even thru his sparkle farts.
But with great sadness: of why such a fierce warrior, could be forgot, I now impart.

You see, his name Sir Dragon Sparkle Farts, did not ring, minstrels romantic thoughts.
Historians, thought his references, just crude, forgettable laughable jokes, The Sots!
But know, when Camelot finally fell, and even he could not stop that inevitable tide.
He flew away, to the great blue North, they say, where with snow and ice, he abides.

Now, young and old, do not be sad… For the moral of this fable holds:
All he did was: for his friends and the Greater Good… He cared not for Glory or Gold.

The Undisputed

The Undisputed

I usually prevail when mostly other have doubts,

as my hostel rival friends taunt, boo and shout,

when they know my mind is focus on that title bout.

I took the stubborn champ to the limit with a reserve

of deadly impact of fresh crushing blows therefore

had the ruthless undefeated champ dazed, shocked,

and lay resting looking at my dancing toes as

I exit to go ending the big show.

Draconian II

[The Puppeteer]
The storm I see you in
Caught in the race of Caïn
Held by the arms you cannot see--the conducter of Ennui
-No stronger than the void you hold within-
It began with a hope, an obsession
Casted into, slavery of repugnant possessions
Granted by, the Avaricious Lords, the ones we serve for
-They Told Us to pray, hope, away from despair, the despair caused by their immaculate Hands
Malice, envy, greed, was granted to me, The Feudal Dream, we want to be Them, just like him
-just how he solaces us, ambivalent hope, engendering knives to my throat

[The Fall]
In this Valley of morning and weeping
Love lies bleeding, in desperate fear
With their talons, the hunt to rip out thy heart
As each velvet petal falls apart
Her body chained in their bile and lies, covered with their red-spy
-sent just to check if our souls are in line, do not defy
Her blood velvet and pure, drips away with innocence of the amber guardian
The soil of plagues, beggars, and graves
Is know her home, the coven of solace
Though the seed has died--resurrection Is near passing through death's fear
One stronger than you--and thy funeral skies
She is alive--anew
But the vapors still remain
The Apocalypse is here, do we fear?
Just for the death of our sins
Elysia never Seemed so far away

[Our Damnation]
Solitary ruins, Fulfill their visions
We strayed far from the depths within
We all lingered to his solace--lies
-you make the sign everyday, but lack toknow the name
We are just the toys, he pulls all of the strings
We are nothing in this burning world
of Decadence, and Failed Semblance

[Draconian]
Draconian--Reach for the shadows within
Draconian--Break from the Fallen's son
Draconian--Their empirical lies, only die
Draconian--Reach the shadows within

Right or Wrong

Right or Wrong?

If I were right?
Yet you felt Wrong
Would it mean you didn't belong?

Could I ever be right?
If I judged you wrong?
Would it mean I didn't belong?

Did God make me right?
Or did He make you wrong?
If so where would God belong?

If I were an expressions of light?
You a magnificent expressions of night?
Where would that illusive wrong or right belong?

To Whom It May Concern

To Whom it may concern,
the chances of my letter reaching you
are as slim as a message in a bottle.
My words throttle in waves of desolate emotion.
As common at it may be,
the moral to the message at sea is "Chance".
To Whom it may concern,
the chances of my letter reaching you
are as slim as a baby walking without a waddle.
My words throttle in falls of desolate emotion.
As common as it may be,
the moral of the waddling baby is "Chance".
To whom it may concern,
the chances of my letter reaching you
are as slim as a sponsor less model.
My words throttle in bankrupts of desolate emotion.
As common as it may be,
the moral to the model's degree is "Chance".
To Whom it may concern,
The chances of my letter reaching you are slim.
Because of my desolate emotions, I try any how.
As common as it may be,
It's by chance that one day you might hear me
Sincerely, To Whom it may concern

Cactus Heart

You would assume I am thirsty in this dire heat,
Or that my needles would cause others to quickly retreat,
You would conclude that my flowers were only for show
Or that if someone didn’t water me I would never grow,
But what you don’t see in plain eye sight
Is that I am flourishing with waters of integrity and might,
Under these thorns you call choked up defenses
Breeds the strength to survive all forms and pretenses,
To you I require little maintenance… but I know better,
I know how to absorb all I need in good and bad weather,
For I was strategically placed in this atmosphere,
All I need dwells in my structure enabling me to stay clear
Of beasts that lurk when sandstorms arise,
When mirages start to mesmerize,
When signs and wonders appear in fallen skies,
And soldiers forget to break ancient soul ties,
I stand my post and flaunt my spikes,
A cactus heart survives all flights.

My sickness and my healing

My sickness and my healing

When I came back from Vietnam
I was afraid of everything
I really don’t know why this was
Cause, no danger did it bring
To me, my stay in that country
But the poisons that they used
Convinces me that they stuffed my mind
Those powers, our heads abused.

That fear in me was so intense
My mind was filled with dread
I was afraid of being alive
I was afraid of being dead
Sometime I’d freeze so totally
Like I was paralyzed.
I went to so much counseling
So many tears I cried.

And then one day I searched the net
And I found this little site
The site they call it ‘just one look’
And they did do me right
It took four years, but now I’m sane
I have no fear at all
And I have no anxiety
I’m no more a crazy fool.

The Nameless - for South Africans of all colours who fought for freedom

The Nameless

Slipping through the sieve of history,

the nameless rest.

Not for the nameless are roads renamed, nor monuments built.

Not for the nameless are songs sung, nor ink spilled.

The nameless rest.

Their silent sacrifice,

quiet ordeal,

muted trauma,

remain interred,

amongst their remains.

The nameless rest.

Not for the nameless are doctorates conferred, nor eulogies recited.

Not for the nameless are honours bestowed, nor homages directed.

The nameless rest.

They rest within us,

they walk with us,

in every step that we tread.

They rest within us,

they walk with us,

for their spirit is not dead.

“Your name is unknown, your deed is immortal”
- inscription at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier WWII in Moscow

Special thanks to my dearest elder sister Tasneem Nobandla Moolla, whose conversations with me about life as a non-white person growing up in pre and post-Apartheid South Africa prompted me to write this dedication to the countless, nameless South Africans of every colour, whose sacrifices and dedication in the struggle against Apartheid tyranny must never be forgotten.

My sister’s middle name ‘Nobandla’ which is an isiXhosa name and means “she who is of the people” was given by her godfather, Nelson Mandela, my father’s ‘best-man who could not be, as Nelson Mandela was unable to-make it to my parent’s wedding as he was in jail at the time in the old Johannesburg Fort. This was the 31st December 1961.

I'm a Muslim I'm not a Terrorist

I am a Muslim, I’m not a “terrorist”.
How can I be a terrorist
when I’m against all kinds of injustice.

I’m against every act of sin and evil.
I hate all kinds of crime and even loathe
what Adolf did to the innocent Jewish people.

I hate what God hates; He (Allah) hates oppression.
I’m against stealing, against taking away
people’s loved ones and belongings for no reason.

I’m against suicide bombings,
against racism, against ignorance,
against self-harm and even derision.

What God hates I hate and God (Allah) hates
oppression. I hate it too when people fight
for foolish nationalistic reasons.

I’m a Muslim; I follow the true religion
of mercy from Allah the Most Merciful
Who simply wants us to answer His Call
to believe in Just One -Just One God of all.

So don’t call me a “terrorist” when I clearly
don’t have a ‘mass destruction’ weapon
and my goal in life is to
be with our God (Allah) in Heaven.

Armageddon

Flames roared through the nights sky.
A glimpse of blue still protruded through the flames.
The heat warmed the mortals below.
They believed that this was a great night.
The sky emulated a beautiful red color.
The color was extraordinary with remnants of blue.
They believed that they were all safe.
They were not nearly as safe.
They were witnessing Armageddon.
The war between good and evil.
For no one is safe until judgment day.
That is the day when the sky will forever remain blue.
The birds will sing a tune.
The flowers will bloom.
That will be the day.
The day when we will all be ok.

Men of War

Teach not the little children war
Impede them not to learn my law
lest my wrath with fierceness come upon you

See innocence in confused eyes
Saddened, scared, these be deprived
and cannot fathom that which they must view

How long would last your power sought
when land and blood be brought to naught
Oh men of little faith

Consider ye the children's minds
to reinstate of love divine
lest darkness prevail at your gates

Surely all shall lose the fight
who trust alone in human might
forsaking righteousness and peace

What god speaks into your ear
to motivate unto despair
and destruction to increase

Fear, each of you, from every side
There is no place for souls to hide
not to escape the face of the Almighty

Though martyr's cries do reach my throne
they shed not blood as were their own
thus, listen to your hearts, Oh men misguided

For all upon the earth shall see
that bond and free shall bow the knee
and proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord

And if this faith men can concede
you all become the promised seed
of righteous Abraham

Wherefore then the battle's gain
If all have access to attain
who dare lift arms against his brother

Listen therefore not to deceit
Let your inheritance be meet
as to children who give honour to their mother

Oh men of war, your weapons yield
Replace with my well beloved shield
that your victory be the glory of the living God...

Galatians 3: 28-29:- There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if ye are Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs
                                   according to the promise.

Time to release

When boys take arms to protect and serve
They only think about, can I make the curve

The cause is just but, do I have the nerve,
hearing all the veterans talk and I observe

They speak of pride and honor, doing what's right
and I ask them "how many did you kill in that fight"

Then, as a silence takes hold of all the noise,
these men stare in silence, like long lost boys

They say "war is a hell, where good men die"
and behind hollow stares, some of them cry

He was a Hero, they say speaking of a friend
knowing he had their back to the bitter end.

Know he sits all alone in a crowded bar,
drinking to forget, staring at a bronze star

Promises that he made to men in graves,
flow in all his thoughts, like endless waves

Why was I the one that survived that day,
they had wives and children to watch at play

I'm home now, with all pieces of me in disarray
42 years, since I kissed the ground in the USA

no star to show but, in pieces like their friend
I carry promises made, as I try to make amends

I think, with all of life's burdens, it's OK if I drown
God says, "I'll take all burdens, just put them down"

An Uncaring World

We Live in world that lacks genuine love and affection towards
their fellowman.
Why are so many uncaring towards one another.
People today don't care what they do or say and who they say it
to, understandably the world has and is still undergoing changes
there is a whole lot more pressure on people these days
especially the younger generation which causes anger,
depression and frustration.

Then there is now the extra worries of the global ressession
which causes misery and grief but where is the
sense of relief people are in much despair over
the financial state as they fear their jobs
are at stake.

The world seems to be in a real angry state, due to
all the atrocities and anomisty there is
which makes people uncaring and can cause others to
feel intimidated to even walk the streets and not
looking at people that they meet as there is no
trust anymore in the world.

How did we get to this where nothing seems right,
where angry people argue and fight,
only evil is in sight.
Happiness is just a dream, not a reality or so it may
seem.

What went wrong in the world that caused so much
grief and anguish when did it begin, it started in
1914 when the world saw the first world war,
the reason for the troubles since then was the
devil Satan was thrown out of heaven to the
earth and soon he is to be destroyed so while he
has the time left he is causing so much upheaval
as he is full of anger knowing he will soon be gone, as
God Jehovah will rid the earth of Satan and his demons
and he will restore the earth to A Paradise in
peace and security instead of all the unrest and
anomosity. People will be happy for all
eternity.

America's Veterens

God bless the man
who made the stand
to keep America free
from the beginning of
America’s history

for over 200 years
our men and women have
stood in harms way
who believed in America
to keep her free

honor and sacrifice are
just two of the qualities
that reside in the hearts
and minds of our heroes
who ask nothing in return
for them selves

only to serve, protect and defend
the greatest country in history
where freedom rings though out the land

today is May 31, 2010
we honor all that men and women have done
and all the battles they have won

how many lives have been cut short
and buried in graves through out the world
knowing that they would never return
to share in the freedoms they fought for

so I say again God bless the man and woman
who have served
alive or passed into history

God damm the liberal left traitors in America
Who sit on their ass hiding in the tall grass
that have no intentions to serve

Misdirection

Here as I wander through this vast and sometimes unsympathetic world, with those who claim to be more civilized than they that walk with their backs to the sun…yet they fight amongst each other and reek havoc and rage war and shed each others blood over trivial matters like the color of each others skin or the way in which you should worship our God! They don’t even love each other as they should as the word of God so commanded them to do! They even rage war inside their own homes…sons against their fathers, they are each filled with hate and malice towards each other...for a status of dominations, which matters not in death but only to the here and now, which passes like the speed of light. They are vain and self absorbed inside of a world in which they have each created with delusions of grandeur and deceit. No true love for each other yet they claim to be supreme beings above all others? Animals don’t kill just for the thrill or just because they can, they do it only to survive and because sometimes they are in fear. But we do it out of self satisfaction or just because we can…take heed my brothers and sisters all is not good and what appears to be good is not, for it is far more important to love and submit to each and other than to stand as sole king or queen on hill were no one else lives or comes…somehow our good intent to become more better than the animals has turned into some type of misdirection on why we are really here? Love can't be misdirected, it can only be not given or received.

Bravery

The War Horse what an amazing
 animal, true beauty and bravery
 intertwined.

 It's not his fight yet
 he does not take flight.

On the battle field his true
 colours are revealed, this
 magnificent beast is not about
 to yield.

 Loyal and fearless, full gallop
towards the front line he strides.
The enemy not knowing what to
make of this valour and might.

Armageddon Pt 1

It's bout to get worse
It was written in the verse
The truth hurts
ARMAGEDDON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

When the time comes
No one's gonna hold up a sign
saying it's time to "get right"
It's gone come like a thief in the night!
Blowin' up and wreckin ish!
The war you want is the war you gone get
It was written before our time
We keep looking at the signs
manifest before our very eyes
constantly denying our right
to be one of the meek ones of our time
ARMAGEDDEON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

We're at the end of what used to be existence
Every super power will answer to a higher power
so pray repentence
The time is closer than any distance
From Washington to Obama
No one will escape the wrath!
Hope you choose the right path!
Narrow is the gate of the righteous tracks
that are imprented on the mind of the omnipotent one
Will you be spared life on earth with the meek ones
and accurately take in knowledge of his son?
OR will you perish in the dust
never to be awakened again?
No consciousness of sin
ARMAGEDDON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED!

It's in the verses
Read it, see it, live it, rehearse it
You see the times changing
You see the minds fading
You see the world and how messed up it is
You see that nigga satan and his curses!
I pray to have a chance to live a beautiful paradise on earth like it say in the verses!
ARMAGEDDON WILL NOT BE TELEVISED

YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN WARNED

Keltoi – Celtic Warrior

Charge! He yelled in Goideli as he led in tribal tribal kilt.

The Celtic warrior advanced
with determined fighting spirit.
Boldly challenging his fears, facing the valiant Saxon struggle,

he prepared for resistance.

He compelled his coercive compulsion

to fight for honor and to become valid.
Mortally wounded in fierce fighting

he accepted his fate, his eminent death.

From the depth of his pain and suffering

he summed his strength and courage.

With one final breath he screamed,
in Gaelic,
“God bless the Irish.”

dea dhuit, clanadad eireinnan!

Never Forget

I once saw a child standing under the flag
He asked why it hung there half-way

I thought it’d be easy to say what it meant
But couldn’t find right words to say

I wasn’t too sure that he would understand
My talk about war and on death

So I tried to find words that I thought he could grasp
So I paused and then took a deep breath

Before I could speak he then shot up his hand
And shouted “I know what it’s for!”

“They did the same thing after my dad had died
Because he was killed in the war”

He continued to say “now my dad is in heaven
And that’s why the flag’s raised half-way”

“To let my dad know and all soldiers who died
We’ll remember them always today”

He stopped and stared at me-I looked in his eyes
He suddenly lowered his head

Tears ran down his cheeks and then he took my hands
And wiped them away and then said

“It makes me feel sad-just seeing the flag
I know that it means someone died”

I then felt my tears-that couldn’t hold back
I picked him up and we both cried

On memorial days when the flag is half-raised
I remember that kid that I met

Now that I’m a dad I will make sure my son
Understands so he’ll never forget

American Hero

Drop down,
hit the ground,
you hear the sound,
your enemy bound.
Stand up,
lock and load,
be careful now,
everythings about to explode.
No sudden movements,
stay as quiet as can be,
don't give away your position,
remember, blind men cant see.
Now slowly creep forward,
toward the dangers ahead,
try not to show,
the fear and the dread.
Inside your freaking out,
as you enter enemy territory,
and this feeling cant compare,
to any classic war story.
Your hurt and sad,
you feel all alone,
but buck up young soldier,
for soon you'll be home.
It might not be,
the home were hoping for,
but heaven's nice,
and Gods waiting at the door.
So clear your head,
don't think anymore,
you'll need all your senses,
to win this war.

Yet almond trees bear flowers
Sun and rapid rain
Winter and spring dance tango

Fight battles in a lost war
Pleased by his dimness
The tabloids are triumphant
He has made war glamorous

Poised Pen

in the field
between poppies
and dying
limbs

a pen
lay poised
pleading
with words

pressed
upon pages
lined with
youth's blood

beating rhythm
unheard
from now
silent hearts

grief flowing
with
inky sadness
into lark's eyes

metaphors
unnecessary
staring
into reality's
harsh face

the pen skips
a beat
as death claims
victory
yet again

another name
to silently
record
into history

and poetry is war

a war fought
through words
of emotion

begging an end
to tiny crosses
we don't wish
to visit

with declarations
that we will
no more
engage in battle

but the words
lay still
ignored by war's eyes
hungering for pain
to fill its chest

poets fight on
expressing anger
in narratives
to beseech

and each year
we read the words anew
of hope with sadness
and deep longing

for we don't believe
in the words
and therefore
they have no meaning

as war carries on
the pen remains
poised
to write the ending
with relief

and as the poppy
bleeds its red
into the sunset
the pen knows
it will never

win the war...

A STRONG WARRIOR

I was given a warrior's name,
comparing myself with saints,
presidents, painters and princes...
all of whom have known grace.

The name Andrew means manly:
a strong and masculine image
standing out in this eccentric age...
when men are losing their identity.

A strong warrior as my ancenstors were...
someone who has the boldest spirit
to fight until he sees a definitive defeat,
otherwise his strength will increase in dare.

This name is the essence of a dedicated living:
two tireless arms holding up the pillars of my temple;
it will change its appearance, but it will never tumble...
to remind others that nothing is lost in persisting.

Not in God's Name

Protestant, Catholic, Mormon, Jew –

I understand your point of view.

If you can’t mine – well, that’s a shame.

No “holy” war is in God’s name.

Islam means “peace”. We all want that.

Meet the Quakers. Be friends and chat.

Buddhist, Hindu – we’re all the same.

No “holy” war is in God’s name.

Jehovah’s Witness to a Sikh:

Sisters and brothers, let us speak.

It’s not a case of placing blame.

No “holy” war is in God’s name.

“An ye harm none, do as ye will.”

The Wiccan Rede, we must fulfill.

Let peace on Earth become our aim.

No “holy” war is in God’s name.

Cease Fire

The Crusades Began a Holy War
Which Continues to this Day.
We Kill, and Kill, and Now it Seems,
This shall Always be the Way.

One Side Scores, the Others Die,
Then the Cycle is Repeated.
It never Stops, It’s never Done;
The Battles Grow More Heated!

The Way to Peace, it Seems so Clear,
Is not Through Senseless Slaughter.
I Appeal to All, “Please Quit the Fight!”
Save our Sons and Daughters!

To Find Our Way out of the Dark,
We Need only Seek the Light.
A Solution Lies within our Grasp:
Forget who’s Wrong or Right!

This God or that, it Makes no Matter.
This Truth I have Acquired:
Be they Different, or the Same,
The Gods would Preach Cease Fire!

Conviction

Innocents is purity, which evil preys.
To endure such beings may leave one in decay.
Anger and hate will fill your mind, weakness seeping down your spine.
Fear gives in, you can not breathe and can not stand.
Darkness overwhelming with the end at hand.

A reaper comes to collect your spirit.
But on this day you need not fear it.
A helping hand he comes to give, he sees purity and light deep with in.
Pick yourself up young lad and breathe deep, your life has meaning if you seek.
Your mind is poisoned and your heart frail.
Stay steadfast your light will prevail.

Your conviction is strong, it never falters.
Take your pain and build alters.
Around your heart to ward off the dark.
Your almost there, protect your spark.
From the evil that dwells in your mind,
Leave it there and don't be blind.

Enjoy the beautiful things in life.
So you may better understand your strife.
For the road to glory is long and treacherous.
Do not fear because you are dangerous.
Armor thick forged in pain, spear of light leaving blood stains.

Do not fear the beast with in, control it and give it name.
Listen to the vibrations, now take aim.
He is your spear, your love is the light.
Protect the innocent and fight.

Glory comes, but does not wait.
To seek it out is to seek my fate.
Innocents cries, evil feeds.
A spear of light is what I will be.
Piercing the darkness of evil deep,
Until glory comes so that I may sleep.

Life

Life is living
But then again it’s not
Because living goes on
Stop breathing
Life stop

Picture this if you may
To help you understand
How a person lives forever
After creating a man

Life is a path
That can go many ways
The roads are cloudy battle fields
With soldiers in a daze

Some are chosen
Some say {f_ck it} {bluff it}
While some give up
and cries tears by the bucket

Life is a tough road
But we can all get to the end
And go on living;
Loved, Remembered, and as a great friend

So soldier march on
The further less dazed
The further the march
The greater the praise

So climb the mountain
Swim the ocean,
Sometimes don’t look back
Because some soldiers
In the battlefield
Just don’t know how to act

But some should be saved
Because on this road you’ve bled
But only if he’s bleeding
Still crawling ahead

Then pass the sword
And forget your graze
Because the more soldiers to the end
Insure better days

War Required From Within For Peace

War from within is required for peace
And peace is possible only if your heart you can seize
You need to capture your motive and capture another’s heart
And keep on moving with determination so that you don’t fall apart
You should know your virtue and vice
Otherwise with another person’s cry you will pay the price
Go on the path of your destination and don’t lose track
Or else in front of your eyes the world will go black
Only if you know yourself you will be right
Hold on to your goal tight and keep it in sight
A little push away for the bad thoughts
And there will be improvement in lots
When all the people have captured themselves with sheer perseverance and effort from within
No more will there be dead bodies dumped in bins
Reality will be changed and there will be love and compassion for one another
Each and everyone will be treated as our own brother and sister
From a few people with success stories of changing the world for better
The earth will have success stories overflowing and for the future generations will be a mind-setter
If your heart you can seize
There will be peace

Flames of Bonds

As the flames a blazed and the torches illuminated the crying shouts of the night
Like steeples of lonely souls on shattered islands yearning for lifeboats
Like reddish cherry drowned in a sea of blood entwining sweetness with sourly fluid
Like a naked smile in a funeral of the dead hiding sadness behind a lying face searching for strength
New bonds created amidst of war like glistening stars in the dying space.

Forbearance

They say “God has forsaken us just look around”
Wars and storms are destroying our hometowns,
They say “if there is a God why are so many in need?”
People are steeling and lying with hearts overwhelmed with greed
They say “It’s all Gods fault”… man takes no blame,
We curse God, push him out of our lives, and then accuse him when we are put to shame,
Oh blinded world filled with an abundance of vanity
You speak evil of him with mouths filled with profanity
Disobeying all he has commanded us to do
His rules were made to keep us safe, to avoid the chaos in which we now suffer through
They say “God is far and he doesn’t care”
When it is our hearts that have turned from him, grown cold, brittle and bare
All we have to do is repent and change our wicked ways
Then in the blink of an eye he will restore us to our golden days
But human pride thinks it can beat him and reason thinks it will win
Read the bible, rebelliousness is how destruction all begins
Society gets darker and more corrupt each and every year
Many are growing hopeless and becoming overwhelmed by fear
God never left us… we as a country left him
God cannot bless a nation who is worshiping sin
In his infinite mercy he has allowed judgment to shake up his lost sheep
Those raindrops you see are his tears…yes our God does weep
Wake up great nation remember why we have been incredibly blessed
It’s not because we’re so brilliant it’s because our forefathers made vows to God that we would give him our best
Generations are born and then they die
It is our obligation to leave a legacy about our creator who is more than just a mystery hidden in the sky
His eyes watch over every human, animal, insect and tree
His love holds this entire world unconditionally
So take some time to consider how fragile are lives really are
Man can’t stop natural disasters or shootings by a mad man in a car
Live each day in love, forgiveness and submission
Put away idolatry, lust and religious tradition
Make a decision to have a “personal” relationship with God alone
And watch how life will change for you whether you’re young or already grown.

I can hear sounds of wispiring winds
And see through window's pane a mighty stars spin

Just knowing your battling on foreign soil
Over someone else's turmoils

Makes me just love you that much more
But please hurry home hun to finish your own dam choirs

                                          Love

Fear no more

When I see the eyes ...tear
Of somebody I could never ...bear
To forget about it and move on
                                      While others happy and ...cheered
That principle in me is ...rare
I have looked into the eyes of ...fear
                                      And made them tears...Who dare!!!
                                                 A good way to say:

                                                "An eye for an eye"

In the Midst of It

Let me tell you a true story.
Hopefully to show God’s power and His glory.
Two army buddies, friends that went A.W.O.L.
Absent without leave a military crime, a foul.

Two young men scared in Saigon, not more than eighteen.
Came over together from Oakland meeting, both young and green.
Naïve they were and pretty scared too.
Made a deal on the plane, “You cover me, I’ll cover you.”

Madness, chaos, helicopters flying around in the air.
Daytime, night time, the rumbling and thumps where constantly there.
The outside perimeter, with Saigon close by they kept vigil, they protected.
Turns out the two soldiers, disillusioned with the killings became dejected.

So tired of the killings, bombings they met a bar owner and stayed with him.
Each night you had to be in at 7:00 the curfew set in.
MP’s Vietnamese and Americans patrolled the streets for movement, watching within.
So the bar locked up good and tight you were their for night, till the dawns light set in.

Two soldiers In a Hotel-Bar- Brothel, and a vicious civil war.
Knowing when returning to base they would have some emotional scars.
One night late two weeks from camp the soldiers awoke to a flash shattered glass a rocket had hit the hutch next door.
Two soldiers hearing the cries and screams of woman and children, the innocents the poor.

Screams, cries desperate and whimpering could be heard inside the hut.
Let’s face it they were in the worse way bleeding and cut.
The five trapped had a soldier that didn’t care if he was AWOL; all he cared about was getting them out of the fire.
The soldier went in an out three times and he didn’t tire.

Looking back at the incident the other soldier aided the burnt and suffering as help arrived.
Without them these people never had a chance, they were caught off base, yes. But they were blessed and these people survived.
They for sure have the love and appreciation of the people they saved that day.
So in that moment that time they didn’t care of the race of these people they were humans and it didn’t matter to the two soldiers no way.

What happened to them? They were given a court martial an undesirable discharge, sent home.
What would you have done if you were the one?
Not even twenty finished with the war, the greatest lesson here is if they weren’t at that hotel, they wouldn’t have ever discovered that all are human.
In the midst of all the chaos, killing, mayhem, gave these two soldiers the love knowing that innocents needed help and they did for their fellow man

Think What I Think

Somedays I wish I didnt
Think what I think,
These patterns of thought,
Have me in the sink,
Then bring me to the top,
To put me back in my seat

Somedays I wish I didnt
Believe what I believe,
So I could,
Give into my passion to please,
Dive into my sinful desires,
and have control of my destiny

Everyday, I come to realize at night
With my eyes wide,
That my flesh I dont have to Fight,
Because Christ runs my life,
And he takes the boulders off my shoulders,
I am the gun and he is the holder,
I am the clay and he is the molder,
And his grace is sweeter every moment I grow older

Only One Man

One life at a time...
One struggle too long...
One decision gone wrong,
and whole countries takes the toll..
War people cry! and the riots go out..
To the thought that one man made,
and the rest follow suit in arms..
It's not political to shed blood over feuds of power..
It's not humane to cause pain to those already suffering the empty hearts of their leaders...
War has no reason, no point, no end...
Guns are a tool for violence, and peace cannot ever come from them...
To fight for freedom is human nature, and a country in the line of fire will fight for
theirs...
The politician who calls war, is the war himself...
They are the beginning of war.. The power seekers... The status mongerers...
Politicians are the reason countries go to war...
There is nothing else...
But one man against a country...
He is the reason.
... and he is only one man.

Fired Up

Fired Up

Suddenly slow, then frozen up…My heart began to pound.
My computer means so much to me. It’s my touch to the outside world.
Then my knight came in the door… determined my dragon to slay.
And let me tell you… as dragons go… he can slay anything.

Dragon fire can be hot, but this one was immensely worse.
Nothing at all seemed to work. This dragon was really strong.
Shield after shield fell from my knights’ grip…
But thank God… he never, ever gave up.

Night after night he fought with might and studied his foe with thought.
Each night he scanned every road… for where a lair could be stowed.
His sword swung with might nightly… erasing him from the land.
But still the dragon was able to come back breathing fire upon all at hand.

He knew how to open every back door. He was cleverer than any I had seen.
But steady as a rock my knight and prince… continued to protect my way of life.
Finally, one day, with four new shields and with Excalibur by his side…
The dragon's spawn was slayed one last time, then a miraculous silence remained…

My knight had sacrificed so much time and sleep… that I truly cried.
This dragon was from a far away land where more dragons are made with pride.
But my dear knight is willing to wait by my side… His shield and sword nearby.
Thank you I say with hugs and kisses… For my knight in shining armor, my life…

Sometimes we have to roar to endure

Out of touch with reality
But i'll catch ahold gradually
And my thoughts are bold naturally
Truth be told hate rattles me.
Its gettin old this jealousy
A dead end road with ice for street
My heart of gold is failin me
Just tryin to hold my sanity.
Positive thinking is altered and blocked
Got me damn near drinking water chase ciroc
Peoples attitudes stinking brain matter on pot
While a good mans blinking a hater will plot.
So i put on my armor and leave the shield
When cut by the drama my wounds will heal
Was taught by my mama to always stay real
They packin black llamas dont get yourself killed
I will not be bruised abused or mentally subdued
Ive tasted the fruits of langston hughes
I use broken tools and build castles laced with jewels
And feed off the fools who ridicule.
I admire breath and desire nothing less
And these issues i press i rarely regret.
So basically im just ponderin the possibility that to enlighten a mentality otherwise headed toward catastrophe versus watchin from the balcony while another dies tragically has no options just responsibilities
And if a few words whether pronouns or verbs can somehow secure another a few exhales more why wouldnt we aggressively roar to endure.

Battle of Beersheba

With thanks to Alfred Lord Tennyson:

"Charge" they said, and charge they led
From out of a desert wadi:
Every man of the Light Horse Brigade
   Into the falling sun thundered!
Their pulsing veins - their loosened reins -
   Toward the wells of Beersheba
Rode the brave eight hundred

In gallop stride they fought and died
   On mighty Walers champing!
Every man in the Light Horse Regiment
   Faced a foe greater numbered.
Their rifles cocked - their bayonets locked -
   Onward the wells of Beersheba
Rode the brave eight hundred

Again and again the Lighthorsemen
   The Turkish lines outflanked:
Every man of the Mounted Infantry
   Of horse and rider wondered.
In squadron raid - in great crusade -
   Forward the wells of Beersheba
Rode the brave eight hundred

And across the sands into their hands
   The Ottoman guns fell silent:
Every man in the Desert Mounted Corps
   The battle trenches plundered!
With martial force - on valiant horse -
   Toward the wells of Beersheba
Rode the brave eight hundred

With God they strode, to victory rode,
With Emu plumes in their hats:
Every man of the Expeditionary Force
Sat his saddle or lay sundered!
Like Gideon of old - their trusty fold -
   Onward the wells of Beersheba
Rode the brave eight hundred

On horizon's red light, an heroic sight,
In clouds of smoke and dust:
Every man of the Light Horse Brigade
   Across the desert thundered.
The legend tells of Beersheba's wells:
   How the march on Jerusalem
To glory led all eight hundred

          ---------------------

Dedicated to the Australian Lighthorsemen whose legendary charge
on 31 October 1917 at Beersheba was pivotal in the Allied victory in Palestine.

A Four Minute Warning

A Four Minute Warning

A light shining from the sky
A deafening scream from the town near by
A flashing light
A shooting flame
Seems like the Russians again
Screaming shouting cries of pain
But the innocent have committed no crime
But the UN fortunate reality
Of being born in the wrong time
Bresnew, Reagan, they all the same
Ignorant of the result
Of the final phase of their game
The effects?
Not even god can tame
The arms race
Who’s the best?
A race to the death isn't a quest
One day they will see
That all there fantasy power money and fame
Will only get them 4 minutes in this game

The American Soldier

We are all the colors a Patriot depicts,
the red’s the blues and whites a mix.
We honor the soldier’s creed till death,
protecting our nation with every breath.

Quitting is not an option you’ll see,
for a soldier’s pride and honor succeeds.
A soldier’s mission will always come first,
hungering for freedom with a thriving thirst.

The American Soldier, our warrior of choice,
will serve their people will a victorious voice.
They are comrades in arms, till the very end,
no one left behind, fellow man they’ll tend.

The American Soldier doesn’t accept defeat,
heroically they’ll fight, in the cold and the heat.
They are the guardians of freedom we forget,
the American Soldier does not identify regret.

Our way of life is because of their strength,
for decades they’ve served at every length.
The American Solder conveys honor and pride;
for fallen soldiers, many tears they have cried.

Honor our troops, for freedom is not free –
it’s the American Soldier whose provided liberty.
Take a moment to praise the dedication and pride,
of the American Soldier that never dies…….

POW OR MIA

MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTE

POW OR MIA.
God be with them in a special way.

Protect these loved ones.
From their captors hate.

Make a way for their escape.
Reveal the cause that hides their fate.

If with You , we'll have to wait.
Tell them we'll meet, by the pearly gates.

God rest their souls till judgement day.
Where you'll take all pain and tears away.

Let the flags wave high! Till Johnny's home.
In our heart's you're never alone.

POW OR MIA.
God be with them in a special way.

Draconian I

[The Cypress Is In Bloom]
The cypress is in bloom
I see the evil, the efflorescence of decadent doom
Eloigning, with thy clandestines of the Dead September's reign
My belovéd Penelope, abscond from the coven so deep, the glades of misery
We must face her in the grove, for arcany, the path we must take
She's in my mind, vaporously,
Lauding with my, dangers and fears
Lie, with ephermelcy's broken truths
Leading me go Cypress, Marigold
Immortally, willows, forevermore
Forevermore

[To Question; To Know]
My argentine silence, your only condonicy
Ends with such eath
The Mockingbird in me--died
Resting in one ounce, an abundance of shame
With an infinity of joy
Exiled, by the ones, who give all, names
My breath starves for only more
The façade, the veil, the austerity dims with Aquarianlore
She falls to her knees, why for?
Celandine she will be
Celandine is she

[Bead]
The lair within, free from their causalities of their sins
Shadowy primroses begin to grow, the season will never end
In there I dream to be like you, violet blue, White Flower of Lisieux,
La Fleur Blanche du Lisieux,
So Celandine are you
Celandine are you

[Draconian]
Draconian--Reach for the shadows within
Draconian--Break from The Fallen's Sin
Draconian--Their Empirical lies, only die
Draconian--Reach The Shadows Within

For our Father, Nelson Madiba Mandela

For our Father, Nelson 'Madiba' Mandela

you are our eternal inspiration

our hopes
our dreams
our conscience

you gave everything of yourself
so that we may live and love and laugh and dream and breathe the air of freedom, dignity and liberty

you lead us through the darkest days with your unshakeable principles and your belief in us

you brought peace and freedom to us

and when at times we felt all was lost

you stayed with us as a father would

you lent us your wisdom
and you chastised us too

and we are here today because of you
you stayed with us, Nelson Rolihlala 'Madiba' Mandela, through all the crests and valleys of our turbulent times

you stayed with us, father
today, we hope and pray and wish
that you, our father Madiba
stay with us still
stay with us, Madiba
stay with us...

Un Be Friended By The Enemy

*************************

Some-time's We live our life
We strive to proceed
Within-in the Body of Christ
But, When it's time to
Say our AMEN
      ------
Here come's the Devil
He pretends to be your friend
Now, He may be a brother
A sister or what have you
Just the same He is there
To comfort you,
      -------
But, the first time that
You turn your back,
Here He is,
With the sneak attack....
The pleasure is all His
      -------
Shall, I spend all my time
Suspended in Prayer
With the Devil,
Awaiting me at His layer
             Fore,
 He can never go there
Fore truth is in Prayer
        -------
Oh', Shall I spend my time
Fighting the Devil,
He can reel you in,
And that next time We
See you, it would be at
The End of a shovel...
With dirt in your face
With the ground soon
To be leveled....
Eternity erased...
      ------
In less than an hour
Their will be may-be
A rain shower...
Or People with flower's
Fore this is the Devil's
Finest Hour...
        -------
Six Feet Under

       ------
So, Yes, I rebuke Him
Any-time that He comes'
Near the Light.....
For the Lord to intercede
And kiss the Devil good night
      --------
So, when the Devil come's
Dressed as a friend....
He trend's to deceive You
And act like a friend
But, don't let Him in
Fore He is just pretend
      -------
He has been Deviling for years'
Invoked all kind of fear's
But, left to the imaginations'
He is just a cheap thrill
      ------
One fraught with tears'
               And Fears

Of the promise's that were
Bestowed upon Thee,
The truth that was Yours'
Meant to last for the all of
Eternity....
       -------
Those thing's bestowed by God
In the bid to set us Free
That was Our inherit Nance
At no cost to you and me
      ------
            By God, Him-self....
      -------
At the inception of creation
By the bind's of Eternity....

                  GF

**********Notes*********

When walking in the ways' of Christ, people will come into your life.
Some-times' they are long trusted friends. But, If they do things'
that are not on the level....Chances' are that they are doing the
work of the Devil....Take them to Heart, intercede them to the Light
When all is done...Thus, goes' the fight. Fore Jesus Christ, with all
His might....has again assured Us that He is the Light! GF

THE MAN OF FREEDOM

Bod Dylan was a great songwriter and thinker,
many have called him the man of freedom;
he played well and sang anti-war songs
while soldiers were sent to the jungles in Vietnam...
every song became their anthem,
and they sang it much louder
to forget their unpredictable fate
which hung on the mercy of others.

I still play old favorites on my turntable,
feeling the nostalgia of those decades...
they delight me with that message so humble,
giving insight to other soldiers fighting another war
to make our world much safer that it was before;
Bob Dylan's songs strongly talked about peace.

His lyrics weren't written to cause unrest, or start a revolt,
but made citizens aware that fighting was a thirst for the enemy's blood;
it was something so vile that the brain had to abort...
to narrow the barriers that wouldn't make a stranger's heart turn cold.

P.S. Bod Dylan is the songwriter who has inspired me.

Distant Warrior

I get this wondrous chill as night falls
in mountains or desert sand
and I find myself dreaming about
home, my fondest memory
from this far away land.

I miss the special lady who
stole my heart, my thoughts
and all there is of me;
and I deeply cherish
our final moments together.

I think about the children
I left behind, how I miss them
and pray they’re fine -
and it’s hard Lord,
it’s so very hard.

It’s times like this that I wonder
why I volunteered and I
get this knot in my stomach -
then I cringe and find myself
trying to hold back tears.

Soon the battle will begin
when I’ll hear my own heartbeat
through the creepy sounds
amidst treacherous mountain sides or
drifting sands and whirling winds.

It’s time spent in worry,
fear, and some regret
as I encounter my fate
in the war so near
and I must admit, I’m scared.

This stench of war,
the sight of it all,
it’s that awful image
of how I imagined hell
after Lucifer’s fall.

I wonder to myself,
“Does it have to be
that generations of people
can’t seem to agree
to the simple concept of peace?”

Soldiers don’t start wars
but they surely fight them,
making all manner of sacrifice
and I doubt that even once
did a soldier ever like them.”

Then I think of “Old Glory”
and I’m filled with pride.
It’s a warm patriotic feeling
which overcomes me
from deep down inside.

I’m confused, scared
and battle weary.
I worry about those I love
as I cling to my faith
and pray to God above.

I’m a distant warrior,
an American fighting man;
not an aspiring hero,
but just a simple soldier
trying to do the best that I can.

American Heart

America resides within the heart of all Who believe in freedom, choice, voice and opportunity Deny, not, the display of pride within yourself Or else you’d deny pride in this land of the free America, more than land, it’s home to you and me Some dare tread, take arms against and try to squash All that America ever stood for, which is evident to all They fear the freedom, strength and all that’s offered As they know, against us, they would never stand tall And for all their attempts, America makes them fall This 9-11, let us not focus on terrorist actions But, on those Americans lost, that still live in our hearts Remember and honor them by living the American dream Exhibiting the ideals and always doing our part Showing all, America has muscle but lives through its heart

lying behind masks,
random rat race.
morbid and cruel;
with vague and serious intent,
never really content,
collaborating underhandedness,
with no elaborate weakness,
creeping shiftiness,
just to make a statement,

Hear These Words

I talk softly to not be heard,
Please God’s ears hear these words.

Be my guardian and watch my day,
Be with me at night and never stray.

The slightest hint of your presence gives me strength;
To hold my head up high to escape life’s stench,
I’m in a nightmare of the world…
I can’t be woken by a pinch.

Monsters are everywhere…some with Angel faces,
Trying hard to steer my tongue…
far away from my Graces.

I talk softly to not be heard,
Please God’s ears hear these words.

I’m like prey…there’s many wolves…they all want a piece,
Speaking loud would cause attention…
And have Evil notice me.
Alone I can’t survive…
I need your love to cover me.

I talk softly to not be heard,
Please God’s ears hear these words.

When you are with me…
I fear no tomorrow;
I can raise my voice to all Pain and Sorrow,
And give thanks to my Lord for the time let borrowed.

Now I feel you with me…I can feel the surge;
I feel the need…I must be heard,
Evil ears must hear these words.

I’m no longer the prey...I will not sit and hide;
I will stand my ground and pull deep from inside,
The power of God and see world's beautiful side.

THE CALL TO DUTY: A SOLDIER'S POEM

I went straight from High school into the service,
I was feeling proud but extremely nervous.
My mother cried with tears of joy,
she said, “I will try to stop referring to you as my little boy.”

I arrived at Basic Training with a bus load of candidates,
we were greeted quite loudly at the main entry gates.
The Drill Sergeants called us everything they could think of,
we knew, at least from them, we would receive no love.

We were too young to drink and barely able to vote,
we were all different races, but we were in the same boat.
We had eight weeks to learn how to work as a team,
we started to believe that it was all a bad dream!

We went to bed late but were up before dawn,
we do more before nine is definitely right on!
Basic Training was tough but we all got through it,
things would get worst and we pretty much knew it.

We would be on the front lines as Infantry Soldiers,
there would be a lot of responsibility put on our shoulders.
The first orders we received took us to the Middle East,
our primary mission was to bring about peace.

For the first time in our lives we were in a foreign land,
the things we saw you could never understand.
The precision bombings caused so much destruction,
the whole place looks like it needs reconstruction.

We are under attack on a regular basis,
our so-called enemy is in more and more places.
Perhaps we are acquiring more and more enemies,
the hate for us here is like an infectious disease.

We were instrumental in removing a terrible dictator,
but the level of danger here has gotten even greater.
Nobody wants to admit that we are in a civil war,
many of us are now on our second or third tour.

I have lost some of my comrades along the way,
we all know the risks and that is all I can say.
We will defend our country from all enemies, foreign and domestic,
we are a force to be reckoned with and we are not to be messed with!

We will win this so-called war on terror,
messing with the United States was their biggest error!
A successful completion of our mission would be a thing of beauty,
we are proud we answered “the call to duty.”

Kindness is a Virtue

Who are and who is my friends or acquaintances, confusing everyday
but today I have found my self to walk a path that is not so rough
I became so blinded to have friends that it pains me anyway
They take a simple kindness and think that I am not tough
so by deliberately challenging me to act like nothing happens I grow bold
Wake up you! and all the rest, I have something to say
I don't like this feeling of regret or sorrow so please do not take me cold
as a friend you should know to not take advantage of my kindness in away
A storm is blowing inside my soul burning a hole in it so
lightning is striking in methods unknown for in the distance thunder you hear
Some of the greatest warriors fall with great weapons of bow
antics that slaughters such feebleness as cowardices use an unseen spear
To let one know that your feelings are clear do not hesitate
to do so shows fear and that is one thing that can determine your choice
With kindness in your corner you should easily win and that will be great!
In the end you can hold up a drink with friends and smile and rejoice

Born into lies, Die fighting for Truth, Live Forever

See you lady's are really dudes, male energy oozes from the paths you choose.
You see straight lines to your end, and you believe it ends there with ONE life to attend.
Just understand that world is so lonely, but as a whole you and the other boys won't be the only
To cross over confused, by only yourself and YOUR CHOICE to be used.
See the "rulers" of this world had plans to keep us hiding, for a "better" perceived earth or calming home to reside in.
And they have succeeded as the blind don't wish to see, nor asking a ****ing question to an alternative degree.
Emotions run the world but ya'll think its money, government made bills too huh? now aint that *****funny.
And they prescribe medicine for every condition, thats just regulated murder with your own permission.
And the "leaders" pay for "news" so you don't go knowing, the truth about nature or where we are growing
Its sad you say that we're babied by the kings, you're bombarded by conspiracies for every single thing.
Now if I give you a secret you promise you can keep it? Its a doozy so make sure you can read it.
The same people who control you and kill all our families, and lie to our faces from cities to shanty's, and make all the rules that you're forced to live by, and keep ALL the money we've worshipped to get by....
WE ARE THE ONES WHO GAVE THEM THE POWER, AND WE CAN TAKE IT BACK AT ANY GIVEN HOUR!

What Did The Three Legged Dog Say To The Two Legged Cat

What Did The 3 Legged Dog Say To The 2 Legged Cat?

What an amazing thing to see by any eye. Two creatures on there way home, spoke as
if they were from a war zone.

All though both were missing parts, they had tremendous heart. Cat, what do they call
you? My friends call me 2 Blue.

Dog, what do they call you? My friends call me 3 paws. It’s a pleasure to meet you.
Same here 2Blue.

Are you curious? Everybody I meet seems to be. Not really 2 Blue. What rights have I,
to say whose whole? Looks to me like you have plenty of soul.

Thank you 3 Paws; I would imagine you are quite a dog, with lots of heart and plenty of
bark.

So, 2 Blue, what’s up? Seen any action lately? Not since the alley fight in 2002, when my
back was against the wall, and I took a heavy fall.

What about you 3 Paw? What’s your story? Well, it’s a lone one, but I like to keep it
short. I was in the dark in 2007, sniffing like I normally do, when guess who? Right! The
Rockwilder Brothers jumped me.

While running, I slipped on some ice, and they weren’t nice with there bites

I agree, we all learned our lessons in life. Something’s are good, and some aren’t so
nice.

3 Paw, see you around. 2 Blue, I’ll be in town.

Hidden

The innocent child still crying,
That you nailed up on your wall,
Her tears are freely flowing,
As the autumn leaves do fall.
The wind of time still blowing,
Across the lonely way,
As the soldiers march to battle,
On this bright and sunny day.
I couldn't get the words,
To leave my knotted throat,
I couldn't get my loved ones,
To leave the sinking boat.
I couldn't think the thoughts,
That could protect me from the light,
Couldn't see your beauty,
Hidden in my night.

And now the end is coming,
Riding on the wind,
To blow away illusions,
To blow up everything.

The riders horse is thunder,
The swords are flashing high,
As the angels of destruction
Fall from the darken sky.

A million times I told you,
Whispered in your ear,
A million blessing hidden,
Behind the demons of your fears.

The innocent lamb is bleeding,
As the lightening flashes by,
The autumn leaves still falling,
From the sadness in your eye.

A LASTING TREATY

Wars cause only destruction and death
leaving behind scenes gloomier than itself:
bloody bodies strewn on dry leaves,
while the jubilant king falls to his knees...
thanking God who has brought him victory,
but then looking at his hands he ponders with asperity.

" I have built a kingdom by demanding loyalty,
accumulated a huge army allowing stealing and killing;
but none of this is mine, not even my castle and sovereignty,
I am a horrible king as others have been before me...
I must issue a lasting treaty to save many from dying! "

And standing on the barren hill overlooking the citadel,
he cried out as the wind brushed his long hair so curly,
" Forgive me all, from now on there will be a lasting treaty...
food for all and the best wine in a land that once was evil! "

OLD GLORY

Flying high and
waving proudly;
perched atop
a silver orifice
the magnificent
and beautiful
flag of honor -
Old Glory,
smiles upon
a grateful nation
with resplendent
dignity and distinction.

A Poet At It's Best

Victory is of thought,
Wonder is to conclude,
And mind is self of meaning.

Figuare of shame of ages,
Of war gamers,
Turn me to the biliogocal sense.

What do it stand in age of reputation action,
Like loud launch and recoop,
Like a view on a computer,
Of the daily paper,
Turn and turn and look at it at different angles.

As you look you see the argues,
Arguer Becoming the accureted,
Words come from the definetion and stand for what?

Self domination is a world class joy it self,
Put what do the people have to say or stand,

Turning to Pages to Ages,
Yet still unreverse,
Just love for lust.

Aquistiones as in sound waves,
Proquereel as in a whistle,
Tears amptitude as a newsends.
Is this truely my generation,

Out of my element I seek to write.....

My ancestery didnt struggle for me not to toss and turn,
and found words to say,

To Richard Wright, Emmel Till, Raplh Ellision,
Buffalo Boys that never menton and to the new school philosophy that makes a stand this one is for you.

To the Acts in the constiution,
still under water have or have not been written.
Class of one, The Drean Act,
The Patriot Act, Tea party act,
and the safety of school rules, we move with you.

As you note the revelation is fill with poems...

That lead to poltical activistm,
In the minority neighborhoods.
That branches to something bigger then you,
I call it success.

To the million man march and
resurces to affirmation action and
many links in school that was lose of tell,
such as the vietnam war why was it resurrectioned...

Business and politcals is two different things,
To mY generation,
Add to fact it is our generation.

When will it be 'our time' to S-P-E-A-K! ! ! !

Invisible's Invincibility

I am an invisible man.
Try and see me if you can.

Shy and quiet I remain alone.
Silent is my voice’s tone

No one can feel my pain and sorrow
As I hide inside of my burrow.

Shadows consume my body and soul
As I embrace the misty cold.

The reason for my unseen being
Lies in the fact I hate being seen.

This life and existence’s of my own choice
And I choose not to have a voice.

I am silent. Invisible. Inexistent.
Yet I am invincible, an immortal being

American Air

The needs and wants that freedom flaunts so worth the heavy penny for all the cost of each battle lost reminds me of the horn of plenty in which the air of our fathers fair was one of giving and sharing now all I see are broken tendencies in a society running low on the caring I feel you there, American air with your promise of tomorrow’s greatness you an asylum for dreams brining such finer things that your vast pools of knowledge awakens To touch and feel, a feeling so real as the image burnt into my mind you open your mouth words fail to come out when your lost, jailed and confined Can you remember, the cold of September when hate flew straight into our towers? they could not break the strong will and fate once freedom spread it’s wings of power The roar of the lion the grace of the eagle never gave way to the corrupting evil no, taller we stood as the way people should ever put to the test and the love that we share through our American air why settle, when soaring at our best.

End of war........Dawn of Devolopment

Killing and Bombs and cruelty and pain;

Fighting for a kingdom, but what did they gain?

Look at the terrorists they act insane

Blood was spilt in every nook and lane.

Three decades of blood and thousands of lives,

This war made many women husband-less wives

The kids lost their dads and moms lost their sons

Who were all shot by the enemies guns!

A country with pearls and beauty and all,

The useless war made the economy fall

Now that It's peaceful and all is calm

Let's get together and make Sri Lanka

THE PEARL OF THE INDIAN OCEAN

Once again....!!!

I Can't Believe It's Really Over This Time

I really hate this feeling, sometimes I wish I could stop breathing. I don't wanna try, just leave me here to die. You were the thing that made my life living for, but your no longer mine anymore. I feel so much pain, sometimes I believe I'm going insane. I'm missing what we had, although it was bad. I'm always walking down memory lane, why can't you see my pain? I know people change, &&' things get strange. I guess I gotta face it, she's my new replacment. I can't believe it's really over this time, I feel as if i have commited a crime. I live in a world of sorrow, so I don't ever worry about tomorrow. I didn't even have time to cry, because i had already said bye. I feel like I'm digging a deeper whole, so I'm hoping Jesus will take control. I'm sorry for my dumb mistake, but baby now I'm wide awake.

"Naught"

Free Verse rhyme

For the cause of naught, all wars have been fought
For in Love’s true entity, God provided a plenty
For the cause of naught, hate has been wrought

Sin was the begin of naught, for which greed of wars are fought
For cause of naught, lust was thrust, from mind of dust
For `tis naught therein the mind doth trust

God’s dread, as proverbial cat was led, mind’s curiosity was fed
The naught by curiosity fed, to the mind was dead, as God hath said.................(Gen. 2;17)
The debt of God’s dread, His Son, to the naught of humanity was fed

The derivative mind, thrust forth into life
Departed from life, entered into strife
Now the tree of naught, the mind is wrought
`Tis naught, within the mind, where war is first fought

It has been said; War is Hell
But hell is a soul at war with God and self
Un-- till,--- by total destruction,-- nothing is left,--- of ego self
The conclusion of naught,--- `tis mind’s illusion

Economic self destruct, by the naught of mind’s luck......................(Rev. Ch 17 & 18 Harlot)
For `tis by two party feed,-- `tis America’s mind greed
By the corporate course, they shall have to force------Us
Eventually Love will intercede, swallowing the mind’s greed
A Mosaic seed, shall swallow Corporate greed, Even,
As it doth feed, thinking it `tis,-- itself-- God speed

For the “Naught” Christ’s blood bought!!!

My Dream

Lo, I have laid my hopes on this rare Earth,
that all men will know nothing but love and compassion.
Never to know hate or prejudice,
but forever enveloped in the cloak of freedom and peace.
Never to tread on the life giving ground with boots of war,
but to walk barefoot on the sandy beaches and grassy valleys of the mountains.
Where happiness springs forth from each person’s heart as pure water from a snowy brook,
and washes away any tears of regret.
To finally build that paradise that we have so longed for,
in our hearts, to be share with the world.
May your anger and hate become love,
your jealousy to happiness
and your fears to knowing.
Never to forget that we are all connected,
and we must work together to bring peace and harmony to our world.

BENIM TEK ASKIM by Anna Lo P

 "Verloren in meiner Einzelhaft

weil du nie gesagt, was Sie wirklich suchen.

They Left so Abruptly

They Left so Abruptly

(for the countless South Africans, of all colours, who dedicated their lives for freedom and democracy)

the valiant ones
countless
many known
many more nameless

the truest sons and singers
husbands and poets
lovers and wives
daughters and farmers
workers and sisters
brothers and friends

they left so abruptly
with quiet pride
steely courage
gentle dignity

they left so abruptly
leaving us our tomorrows
brighter
hopeful
filled with promise

they left so abruptly
so that we may breathe
the breath of liberty
the air of freedom
the warmth of justice

they left so abruptly
leaving with us their parting gift

freedom
inkululeko
swatantrata
liberte
azadi
vhudilangi
libertad

they left so abruptly
yet we remember them all
today
in the days that slipped away
and in the many more that we await

they left so abruptly
yet they remain
hewed into our memories
etched in our consciences
engraved in our hearts
they left so abruptly
and yet they endure
with us
within us
now and forever more

Breakfast time and a bowl of cereals

Waking with a start, preparing to face the end
eating next to nothing, cracking the bottle of optimism.
Life looked away in revulsion as the villainies committed
and lost into the book of vanity.
With the naked eye i see the world every morning, revolutionized
but big words puff me up as thought i was you.
A jarring note,a shot of morphine and get out of the rut
a perjury of illusion, the only blemish on your face.
I was deceived into the belief of something invisible.
Swashbucklers,mock heroics,phony patriots and cells
that proliferate so rapidly.
Populous mash potatoes, the decomposition of the corpse,
i can't take much more.
Filth has no sense of delicacy,i never boasted that
and the inanity of convenience put a bullet through my head again
So i open the window of pessimism.

We live with the manners of a swine,
enough to keep body and soul together.

A Soldier's Memorial

It is built on pain and on sorrow
To always beware of what comes tomorrow
Although to some it burns from the past
Like the flames of hell rising fast

But yet be happy, there is some hope
Some happy things to help those cope
With problems that come, but memories gone
Into the ashes where only death belongs

A voice could say, “Beware what you seek.”
This voice wants all to be dreary and bleak
It calls for a unity of past damnation
It wants the world to have a remorseful sensation

Though, it cannot be stopped but can be fought
The memories from those that can be forgot
So live life well, allow no worry to fly
The days of sorrows and lies have gone by

Think of the days where it will be perfection
From the day of birth or the grave-sites reflection
It can never break what was built in a heart
Never worry, only love, for love is thou art

Wanderer

A dusty old town-so quiet
a man, a traveler
takes off his pack-so heavy
and reclines for a rest.

they dont know his name, they never do
they wont even bother to ask
he troubles them-his mysterious past
leads them to prejudiced views

but were one to ask, for if naught but a name
what would this traveler say- would he speak?
a word, no. a name, he would give them and pass
"Im Wanderer, the world is my street."

Wanderer-what a name
does it signify much of his life
or is it a code- a cypher?
an enigma to his past.

A Checklist for World Domination

World domination is a fickle thing.
Arsenals must be compiled,
and friends beguiled,
to see successes bright sheen;

At first armies are riled,
building from the broke and poor,
can save you your store,
a trick from The Hailed;

Citizens must have rights, to ignore.
Omnipotent secret police,
the raids must not cease,
cultural ideals, smudged by gore;

And no food, or space to lease.
Those city smucks must work long hours to produce.
And high taxes for the farming recluse.
No matter how much given, demand a bigger piece;

Contact territorial others, tell them of truce.
White flags hide true power,
your revelation, their final hour,
enjoy your brothers, necks snapping in a noose;

Dropped bombs birthing magnificent dour,
beautiful suns of the night,
killing sons of the fight,
mushrooms are the freshest flower;

But, indulge in those you smite,
take advantage of their blight,
for soon, you will fall from your height.
As the angels take holy flight,
evil is slayed by his purging light.
For you, Hells fire burns bright;

Universal balance makes all wrongs right.

Balance Within

Introduction: Even if you're tied to barely holding on, your control over will power shall pull you up towards the truth and success. But only if you believe up to all, that it's stronger than what you could be - that's when you balance the fall...

You may get old
Your memories may drown,
But your soul won't get cold
And beliefs won't breakdown.

Just don't you let go
As you never know,
Things you seek for all your years
They could be in your back yard.

Find the truth within the lies,
Fight your pride to end this cry,
Trust your soul; open the door
Balance yourself and roll the stones.

The one's you heart will always stay
So don't throw life out your doorway,
Life's too short and it's too real
Sometimes it's hard to see and feel

That's how you live a life,
The risk that breaks you down to bits
Saves and brings you back alive,
That's what we call the gift of life.

No matter how rough things might get
We get rewards for the risks we take,
No matter how hard or sad
Learn and value what you have.

Though, too much pride will leave you dried
Don't let 'hopeless', be your life's stride,
None of this will you take to grave,
Your deeds will lay, only your pave.

As you breathe in and do breathe out,
Make each one profound
And stand your ground,
As lies are just the fantasy,
The truth - is your ecstasy
And this will forever be plain to see...

The war that can be won

The mind commands the body immediately obeys, the mind order itself and it meets arrogance and lets that mean genie out of the bottle.

In your addictions the line between life and death is very thin a war that has only one win if you keep using and letting that evil genie in; death is slow and sure. These are the guideline that you have set; stop and think, do you like being satan pet? keep this thought on your mind, the setting of guidelines belong to God not man!

Logic is blinded and you forget about the past, the future is an unknown; why just to get high? Every endeavor is a challenge is it not, just for a high that just don't last.

Fear not all is not lost! Addiction is a war that can be won, that is if you keep certain things in your mind, fighting it with all your heart, and all of your mind. Lean not on your own understanding, but finding faith in God of your own understanding;. Place your trust in Him; He not demanding.

Addiction and recovery encompass neatly identical tactics, they are both learned behavior and they are both controlling factors. Neither one accept anything less than total victory. the first one will bring about your destruction and second one brings about a chance to live a life free from bondage.

Open your eyes don't let illogical thinking be your guide, living life with satan by your side, just for the brief moment of that high. This life type of living is shaded and it is unkind; demons controlling your mind.
Word to the wise, wisdom and strength comes from the One that is Setting most high; let the Lord edify. Life in the Word will become excitedly gratifying ; in this your will find strength without any boundaries and all that you need is faith and belief that Jesus can set you free; Pick up His words and read John 3:16.
Nothing beat a failure but a try; so I pray for you and so please stop getting high.

Dance

Take your hand and put it out forward,
Than swing out out to the side, c'mon don't be a coward.
This is fun, now swing your hips from side to side,
Remember all the times you couldnt express yourself and you cried.

But now your can swing your legs and feet any way you want,
Look for that new move that you looked for your whole life like a hunt.
Grab someone by the hand and let them join you in that awesome moment,
I promise you, you will love this feeling you are about to feel.

Turn up the music and dance your heart out,
Move to the beat and go wild and feel like your out of sight.
This is your moment, don't let anyone take that away for you,
This is not happening too slow and i tell you that that's the truth.

Put some head phones on and go to your own world of greatness,
Bust a move like you never did before, I promise it's harmless.
Make your heart feel what I am feling right now and take my hand,
I promise that I will make you smile and scream with joy and stand.

The Temple

Awash in darkness and disguise
Mistaken for light in my denial
The truth a fiction in my eyes
Refracting dispassion as I lie

The thousand eyes that gaze into
This broken mess I took from youth
I claim a shell crafted by you
The thousand hands that ran me through

Now twisted, poisoned and possessed
I’m half a demon, half obsessed
With overcoming all regrets
I want to climb beyond myself

In my convoluted disrepair
I am between love and despair
I only wish to one day share
The self that vanished when I got scared

Now host to darkness and the light
At constant battle through these nights
My dreams will grant these creatures sight
But in duality I realise

Without the light I would not see
That without darkness I’d not breathe
And through this war I will conceive
The strongest self through clarity

These tools of war are now my own
A balanced self has finally grown
The Angel vigilant and known
The Demon, tamed, now guards this home

Street Soldier

My baseball cap is my helmet and my Nike's are my boots,
My country is my hood and my colors on my flag are niether red white or blue,
My weapon of choice is my two hands,
sometimes it can be whatever when I am threatened with a great fall from my stand,
I have no general or soldiers but I have family and above all I got heart.
My battlegrounds remain in my own home and sometimes even in the local Wal-Mart.
Every inch of my hood is up for friendly fire,
Violence remains apart of life around here searching for peace is far from desire,
Everyday remains but another day someone will die,
but more importantly is that another mother, brother, sister or father will cry.
But I am a street soldier so I am prepared for anothers or worse yet my own demise,
And as a street soldier I must keep the battle in check, no not with what I see with my two eyes, but what war is really going on inside the mind,
My battles dont come from without but from within......I am a street soldier fighting through time.....

War Poems. What are they good for? Absolutely Nothing!

You can write another poem
Which shakes its head at wasted lives,
And everyone who reads it will
Wonder how war still survives,

"Your skills outline this futility,
These words will answer through the ages,"
Empty words and compliments,
Whilst outside still the battle rages.

The Crucible

I can only begin,
To express what its like,
To have gone through such things,
As the crucible hike,
54 hours of torturing pain,
Which only got worse,
When it started to rain,
6 hours of sleep,
Issued 3 MRE'S,
5 recruits dropped,
Overcome by the heat,
After 2 days of hiking,
We were issued our masks,
Taken into a chamber,
Were we get CS gassed,
With the rest of our strength,
We head for the reaper,
Into the mountains,
We hike deeper and deeper,
80 pounds on our backs,
M16 to our side,
Ascending the mountain,
Screaming painfully inside,
The Reapers a monster,
It can swallow you up,
A truck had to follow,
To pick recruits up,
though it felt like forever,
We had finally arrived,
Beyond exhausted,
and sleep deprived,
Then the DI's scream out,
lets pack up our trash,
its time to head out,
So get off of your ass,
The hike back was torture,
But as we got back,
we ate a meal fit for warriors,
then marched straight to our racks,
Some thought they'd been dreaming,
Some wild cartoon,
But we had really overcome it,
As a team, a platoon!

PEACE IS THE ANSWER

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth
Violence is in your schools and communities that is the proof
Every tear can be a drop of nourishment
Each one of us can help to create this critical mass peace embodiment
The absence of war or other hostilities
Evil is lurking that is a fact and reality
Freedom from quarrels and disagreement
Why must we hate and have so much resentment?
Everyone wants to live in a world with peace and free from strife
I know I want joy and love in my life
Pacifism is the opposition to war or violence
So let us keep aggression silence
Peace is shalom
It still means the same in both verb and noun form
It is the optimum conditions for life to unfold
To the human race it is more precious than gold
Peace is a source of energy
It is love, affection and empathy
It will create health and prosperity
It is a bridge between love and spirituality
We should cultivate the mind and bring sight to the blind
Peace in this world is hard to find
More than what any money is worth
I pray to God for peace on earth

"Peace is what happens when all peoples are free to develop themselves in the way they
want, without having to fight for their rights.”

One Final Request From The Fallen Heroes.

Stark sentinels of stone, standing silent, alone.
Their comrades reflect past a speaker's dry drone.
Can cold comfort be said to these young valiant dead?
Who bequeath to us more than a safe secure bed?
Scarred, battered bones, in hushed solemn tones,
whisper one last request meant for our ears alone:

The bars in the flag shine crimson and snow.
They call out to us the rights they bestow.
Seek out every star, set midnight in blue.
Be worthy of us as we were of you.

They kept unspoken dreams, yet dark destiny deems
they can never live out, blown apart at the seams.
These stray measures of flesh that no longer will mesh,
are gathered beneath us in mounds green and fresh.
Do not shudder in dread at their crude muddy beds.
Let the living demand that what follows be read:

Here stands a sanctum where courage can roam.
These were the tools for our freedom at home.
Such love of their brethren can never be known.
Heroes lie here from whence free men are sown.

The bars in the wind snap crimson and snow.
They cry out to us the gifts they bestow.
They are every star, set midnight in blue.
Be worthy of us as we were of you.

When Anger Takes Over

There will be a time when anger takes over.
And all other emotions fade.
Where madness turns to power,
To which diesies are made.

Where the people who think that they own the world,
Who have hatread swelling around them in curls,
Allow the poor to cry out in hunger,
And the rich to eat till they hurl.

Then the monsters that don't like others,
And think that they all should die,
Lock them up in lice ridden cells,
While they laugh, and say it gives them a good high.

How life above, up in the sky,
Will even fall to its torcher.
They'll start wars, create plagues,
Until one cannot even trust they're mother.

But for those who were lost somewhere in the middle,
Were given a gental gift.
The man who came upon the day,
And hoped to kill anger will a holy riddle.

The children had come upon the streets,
And sat on the man's soft knee.
They learned of love and caring,
Which filled the streets with glee.

Then one day, while the new year raged on,
The people came with harsh accusations.
He had told of love
He had defied the nations.

The man had tried to end anger,
But failed.
Anger had won, it finished its deed.
They made fun of him as his life was taken through hatread that was nailed.

Into the earth.
Life.
Everything.
With a horrid, angry force of sheer strife.

No more emotions on the rise.
Only broken hearts,
And starless skies,
And people throw angry darts.

There will come a time when anger will take over.
And all other emotions fade.
Where Hitlers, and Satans run the world.
And the earth's death bed is made.

Letter From A Friend

Dear Friend
Why you wondering where we stand?
Me and you are tighter
Then the ying yang we make with our hands
I know we’re far apart
But a call brings us back together
No matter the hour of the day
And no matter the type of weather forever
But I’m glad
You came to me first
Each time I read your letter
It hurts me even worse
Because I see us more than friends
We’re bothers in the Lord
So if you are hurting
Then I am hurting even more
You can always count on me
When your world is going wrong
I will never turn my back on you
Even if my back is against the wall
And I know it’s not easy to tell our moms
When it’s hard for us to stand
What do they know about military life?
Or the struggle for a military man?
Don’t be shy
Because there’s something we all do fear
If I had the chance to switch services
You know I’ll be right there
And I am not brave
I wanna be the friend you can lean on
you said I can calm you down
well I also wanna keep you Army strong
death isn’t nothing
but the devil getting to you
keep believing in God
he will give a path to make it through dude
jus so you know
I’m here I’m always around
you’ve been trained good
so take a step back and calm down
and when you come home
we’re going to party like when we was kids
and laugh at all the stupid things
we ever did
keep your head up
because this is where it has to end
yours truly P.S.
you’re my number one friend

tides are risen from tears of love

when oceans rise beyond
the beaches, and
it seems like the
sky is leaking
water that fills
the sea
above its very limits
and when those
tears stop falling
from the sky
where they fell
the only place
that is the waters
edge is the mountain
that you land on.

My Son

These words I write with tear filled eyes,
As a new dawn comes to light.
Another day without you Son,
Nor' a star filled winters night.

Your Mother sends her love dear boy,
As our hearts are torn in two.
A Major came to see us Son,
He brought us news of you.

He told us of your courage,
Of the fight that lay ahead.
The soldier that we knew you were,
Then he told us, " you were dead".

You left for a tour of duty,
With the army in your heart.
We are proud to have had you in our lives,
We won't always be apart.

You fought for Queen and country,
Now your duty sure is done.
A man, a friend, a soldier,
And my ever loving Son.....

Change of speed.

He was seized with an obsession,
it wasn't like balsam to his hurt feelings,
and his body has been waisted by the long illness.
The streets were bedecked with flags,
and the soldier declared himself innocent.
It was only then that they realized the gravity of the situation.
The people.
A constitutional government,it's bad policy to beat him.
There was a munition shortage and wet weather gets me down.
That gloomy old house is dying as the dove of peace patronize,
the soldier.
The piney slopes were covered with snow and red spots,
as the light fell on her face, before wolves torn it to pieces.
The hope.
The soldier showed signs of distress,i was astonished at the news.
By midday he had sold out and left for his village.
Bury the hatchet, soldier !! The place is Godforsaken.
I had a sudden pain in the stomach.
Change of speed.

Soldier

MY FIRST PATRIOTIC

SOLDIER

Thoughts drift towards another world
Mind starts thinking in different fold

Lets you down with no hope for
When loved ones leave alone for war

Moments spent were really happier
Day they left eyes were full of tears

Dark night waiting to sight
Joining the group in the loop
They were traveling with the troop

Fighting hard with the foes
They showed courage, brought them to toes

Land was full of blood as seen
To be martyrs, they were so keen

Victory is what for which they die
Furling the TRICOLOR in the SKY.

forever should be spelled four ever because four months is all you've got at best

FOREVER SHOULD BE SPELLED FOUR EVER
BECAUSE, BABY, YOU MIGHT RATE FOUR MONTHS AT BEST

Baby, this is forever like Never-Neverland
Where frowns and tears are forever banned
No sorrow because forever is in the center of our love
And baby, those are all words of bulls**t above

If you beg my real option I’ll stay until I want to go
And stealthily shall I leave like a cat cautiously and slow
Because honey, for now you got what it takes
And I adore very inch of you got that shakes
The shimmies and slithering while prancing on the dance floor
Yeah baby, forever, until I walk out the door

You don’t really think I won’t spread my good looks around
Yet I’ll leave you without a mother f*****g sound
I’ll take any woman I want when the time is right
And she and I will take a heaven bound flight
But baby for you I’m all yours tonight
Oh no, don’t shake that beautiful bottom for spite

I’m just telling you the facts and all the facts I know
Forever with you will be until I pack up and go
Because I’ve got an army of women standing on a god-d*mned line
And just look how I cut the air with my slender body and straightened spine
But the truth isn’t a woman out there who ain‘t saying, “Hell no, I don’t want that outlaw as mine”

Temporary Release

Temporary release,
Lover’s weary empire,
Anything to make the void subside for one more second,
Temporary relief,
Smiles turn to dust,
Anything to escape the past for one more minute,
Temporary freedom,
Light, covered by thick smoke,
Anything to prolong the mess,
All the anything’s get less and less,
Temporary life,
We are all just passing through,
Anythings lead to nothings,
if your something is not the TRUTH.

Admonishment

Oh Israel I called you forth to listen
there can only be one master to the house
I redeemed you all to belong as brothers
as your service to me you have espoused

Why do you seek control over the others
by example my purchase set you free
my will I am able to make known
when you are punished know it will come from me

I will be the one who gives directions
to the one who is my servant call
my will I am able to make known
it is to me that he will stand or fall

You raise yourselves like lions in the forest
tear into my servants like your prey
shortly I will settle the accounts here
pray your coins I will not take away

By example I set myself as servant
it was you who I washed and fed
I set a table just like a house slave
upon it was my own wine and bread

You were purchased from the wicked
were set as freemen in my tent
everything you use is my possession
you will account for how it has been spent

If you are unable to submit to my direction
know this you can be easily replaced
I will not allow you to destroy my building
I can from stone make flesh and you erased

Every servant is dependent on his master
and a master example I have set
there is only one path to true glory
the obeisance of love you do forget

I will use anyone I choose to
their service to me I'll not forget
I will raise or lower those deserving
if you refuse a decision you'll regret

Accept my admonishments directions
the gentle voice I have sent to you
you have publicly shamed my reputation
It is my example you must learn to do

My father appointed me the master
as a son in his own house I serve
I have sent my messengers before me
My arrival will dispense what you deserve

when I get hauled out of bed for this
I have to wonder to whom our Lord
has to have listen , those to whom this
is addressed you know the scriptures

Amen , come Lord Jesus

Freedom

We are sullenly mourning
For security from the demoralizing night
I am despairingly probing
For mercy to carry us back to our divine flight

We are all wishing for infinite freedom
We are all seeking for an abundant kingdom

If we are living in pure happiness, why are we so emotional inside and out?
Why are we painstakingly tracking down a getaway away from this mystifying dilemma? What is all this venturing about?
If we are swaying in the rhythm of faultless jolliness, why are we vexing about the departure of our best friend?
It isn’t in our control…so get a grip or we'll fall!
If we build up our friendship, we'll have wounds to mend
So stop your blaming and cursing or we'll be in appall

If we are all leaders, why are we panicking?

We are all leaders…we aren’t senseless pleaders!
So face your phobias and get out of the deserted state!
We are all leaders…we will not give in, vile deceivers!
Saunter out of sight, so we won’t meet our unsettling fate!

You meddled with our cries
So don't point fingers, you insidious devil
And forced us to believe your jaded lies
SHUT YOUR MOUTH! I don't want to consider your excuses, for our truth stands still

If we are living in pure happiness, why are we not meant to be?
If we are living in pure happiness, why are we battered and bent?
If I am living in pure happiness, why am I not free?
Could we ever discard this horrifying dilemma that pounds on us like cement?

We must act like a leader—tough and vigilant
Striving to survive!
We must mimic like a leader—buff and independent
Struggling to stay alive!

Disregard the mourning state;
Drive out the defiant enemies and make them face their damnations
So we can joyfully integrate and negotiate
You’d do me a favor to cease your supplications!

Eyes Sparkling wide
Daddy
Mom throws glitter in the air
Floating in elation

You're home
I love you
The world is shinning
You've been gone so long

I'm home now
Back from the war
The sparks there
were of death

Here there is no death
Daddy
I love you
Your return makes our smiles shine

Who are these People Pt 1

who are these people?
where do they come from?
they are older than time can measure, sadly
hopeless and a hazard to others and themselves
unable to move their vessel body, physically handicapped
through years of wear and tear and genetic mutation,
......and their mind
seems to be corroded and rustic
likes plates of steel left out in a thousand thunder storms
i wonder
how these people got here
being so retarded, challenged, in-capacitated, unable
asking questions that a dumb blind drunken monkey could answer
just by looking at them I can feel the presence of cancer
they are dying
as flowers would do with only a moon
i talk with them, as the babble, and drool
and struggle to stand for more than 2 minutes
and struggle to walk across the room
to show me their new exercise to improve the demented motion they call a golf swing
i take a breath and listen, nod my head,
wishing that i gave a fluff, but i dont.....instead
id rather continue watching a documentary on the paleo-indians who survived through
the ice age
that eventually became the native peoples of Canada.
2 more incoherent zombies walk through the door,
with looks on their face of confusion, and death
they step up on the treadmill huffing and panting
and ask me to set them up
level one, for 3 minutes,
im thinking in my head...you cant be serious.

Martial Dances

We live in strange times, my brother
men make money
with war dances
and occupation...
Do you not see the bombardments
and the pillaging?
Under the boot
you are worn out,
these days
the sweat of your brow
no longer serves you!
Tanks come from distant lands
passing down your streets
demanding to know
why you were born!
And you can say nothing.
Soon, if this continues,
it will be the course of progress
to be denied learning.
One speaks of the rights of man
here and there.
Do not believe those rumors!
You see that nothing is in place now!
We live in strange times my brother,
arms dealing,
construction
governing the land.
Is it so difficult to understand?
They sell the merchandise of war!
Come listen to my counsel.
Don't marry, it is unsupportable
to suffer the massacre of your children.
The success of your affairs depends
on producing fictitious enemies
to menace...
In this manner
they take over small countries
one after the other
under the pretext of saving them.
While you fight amongst yourselves
others consume your underground resources.
What should I tell you;
do these times plant sorrow
in your hearts?
Be a little understanding!
Increase the number of fratricidal wars,
divide your people further
to make the lives of the invaders easier.
Do not forget that to destroy love
requires only this:
Live in a society without love
and don't educate anyone...
Live in the clarity of obscurity,
depend only on yourself!
The sun rises and sets on time...
the throats of cocks are cut
that sing before the hour!
We live in strange times my brother,
men make money with war dances
and occupation...
Do you not see the bombardments
and the pillaging?

Who are These People Pt 3

who are these people?
where did they come from?
they seem so primitive.
so, incapable.
primitive humans without a foundation of language I feel were smarter and more able
then these people.
these years of technological advancement, and inventions, have made the mass
population stupid, and incompetent.
washing machines, dishwashers, the T.V, microwaves, plus....
hollywood magazines, fashion, consumerism and advertisements, whats in, whos out,
materials, greed, toxic governments and polluted political powers,
the building of nations through controlled influences and exposure
music, media, movies and more
the conditioning of the human population, to be drones, to be mindless chickens who
flock together only because they are afraid,
to be zombies who fall in line without question, to be puppets, to be individually stripped of
all human rights
to create and condition organic emotional humans into dull mechanical robotical children
that do what they're told, programmed to be obedient
like computer software was surgically inserted into the brains of infants at birth, to be
tracked, geographically speaking
and to be numbered for identification purposes within the system
the system that collects our information, our bank statements, our internet passwords,
our logins, our logouts
our emails, our instant messages, our cell phone conversations, our work hours, our credit
rating, our mortgage.
its already happening. microchips being implanted under the skin of babys
its no wonder this world has gone crazy, mad, insane, ludacris.

Our Bones Are Of Iron Made

My heart does beat,
Pulse does pulsate,
For Pak-lands,
Oh! Enemies,
Beware!
Our bones are of iron made,
And bombs are the bodies.

Whether you challenge
On the snow clad lofty peaks,
Or in the frosty valleys,
Or on planes of the Punjab,
Or onto the adjoining waters
Of the boundaries,
Or in the thick forests,
Or upon the hot sand,
We are a nation that cares least
Of life, of wealth or property,
Or of fatal consequences
When our honour is at the stake;
We pluck out the eyes
When they look with dingy intentions,
Break the jaws that ajar
To devour us.
We promote not turmoil in the world,
We believe in respect of others
And be respected,
We are a nation that writes
History not in ink or on the sheet of paper,
But in blood on the sacred soil and sand.

To Say the Least

Take my heart and let it beat
Till it’s last try.
Take my smile and let it shine
Till it dies.

Till it’s last try,
The world will fight.
Till it dies,
The sun will bite.

The world will fight
With all it has.
The sum will bite
Back the night.

With all it has
This star has fought
Back the night
To win the war of life.

This star had fought
Till its death
To win the war of life.
To say the least.

Till it’s death,
Take my smile and let it shine.
To say the least,
Take my heart and let it beat.

Seed of Birth

Moments to Reflect
Seed of Birth
After a summer shower I watch the wonders unfold Gods truth is being shown. His love for all shall be known to all who have eyes that can see. The miracle of life that is a delight to behold can be seen in a drop of rain on the end of a leaf. Sparkling like a diamond in the light, more precious than gold, a secret is told. The water of life, without it we cannot go on the earth would be has dry has a bone. A desert: a waste land as hot as Hades and not fit to be called home. The water of life He is known.
The air so sweet and clean the breath of life He has been called. A blessing from the father it is a Gift given to us all. When the air can been seen it is unclean and in this state I call it satans breathe, oh so foul and within it only death can be found.
Flower and trees, grass that is so green that there is not any artist in the world that could paint a more beautiful scene. Concrete streets and black top parking lots; progress is what it is called…maybe not. An eyesore, mans’ master piece his legacy, beauty it’s not.
Like a spring rain or after a summer shower; new life does salvation brings. Like the morning dew shining like tiny jewels, in the sunshine they do glow. Flowers blooming and life a renewing, with Jesus this is how salvation goes.
Rain can be seen as the world being baptized and cleansed, purifying it of mankind sins. This is a fresh beginning but it not at its end it only truth starts when you ask Jesus to come in.
After a gentle rain shower our God reminds humanity of His power and His promise: rainbow in the sky a wonderful, magical miracle, truly a delightful sight. His signature written in the sky, proof that He tells no lies; never again with water will He end the world that has bought to Him so much pain. His tears of sadness, never again will the world end with rain.
The evil one try his best with his temptation and his tests to cause us to die and never to rise; humanity he do hate want to take all with him into that fiery lake. These are the tools of his trade war and strife adding in a touch of worldly lust doing his best to kill our trust in the Lord who has given us so much. The spiritual war is what we are in do not fall for satan schemes. Heaven or hell which one will it be? Like the sun gives life to flower, the Son gives life to all who follows. He who is free is free in deed.
Christ the savior God did send, it shows us that satan cannot win. Like a summer day after a spring rain new life will begin. He will pardon us of all our sins but you must ask him to come in His forgiveness know no end. Open your heart and let Him in then and only then can you win. In Him salvation is guarantee and a new life can begin; so you must choose Heaven or hell where will you spend eternity in?
God our Father gave His Son to the world so that we would have a path to the truth a light to shine in the darkest of time. Allow His attributes to shine forth you do not would to lose your soul. Before time ever begin He love us, will you not trust in Him sight unseen, the One who gives all life meaning?
All it takes is faith to bypass that fiery lake, because tomorrow is not promise and another sunshine you may not see. Time is on no one side, so do not go chasing rainbows you cannot fly. Keep what real in your mind the reality is sin must die. God give His Son to pay a price that He did not owe, the cost was high, but gift that is given for those who believe; is to be by His side, salvation is free are you ready to receive?
Summer shower and gentle breeze,
Golden flower and dew drops of leaves.
Soft green grass beneath your feet.
The only thing sweeter is than life is living with Jesus for all eternity.

Mind and something few

                Mind and something few

My mind wandering like air
it wavering like sea-shore
wandering and wavering ever.

When the air hits my soul
my wavering mind drenches
wandering and wavering ever

Air pushes the water,my mind
became enlighten, wakes out
wandering and wavering ever

wandered to know something
it for learn something
know and learn something ever

My mind travels upon air
wavers and drenches itself
wandering and wavering ever

hits something, to know something
attract and distract something
travelling in a water ever.

Hope For A New Generation

The death of a saint, a martyr to some
The death of a hero, a husband to one

A soldier turned humanitarian, he cared for all
He attempted to hurdle that natural barrier, to climb that human wall

To give up his dreams and aspirations
To relinquish his will of self-preservation

To benefit all of human kind
To alter how we interact, to change our time

Such a task he set upon with stalwart dedication
He preached caring and forgiveness, not revenge or vindication

He loved all regardless of their color, religion, or creed
He served everyone, just as he had served his country

With a fire and passion not seen in lesser men
He truly understood what it meant to be human

Yet not everyone shared his vision of peace
More blood was spilled and the fighting did not cease

He carried on despite the pain of knowing so much
He often relied upon the love of his family for a crutch

But there is a point at which every man breaks
His feeling of failure overwhelmed his need to be great

However even in his darkest hour, his hope did not falter
His compassion was renewed with the help of a different altar

A belief built upon the hope that people can change
He had experienced so much, developed such a broad emotional range

It seemed that he was ready to change us all
What a tragic thing it is when greatness does fall

Alone in the darkness of his room the killer did sit
The hero was shot and killed by a man who was painfully desperate

Seeking a greatness of his own
He wasn’t satisfied with the world he was shown

And so died the dream of the hero, this saint
The martyr departed and his fire burned faint

Yet hope never dies
It is in everything from the way we believe to a newborns cries

We would do well to remember that ordinary people have had extraordinary dreams
Amongst all this bloodshed there is more to life than it seems

We are all here together, for what purpose we do not know
However if we recognize those around us, we can always help each other grow

To always be working towards that next step, to be supporting that re-birth
For love is all around us and it is the most important thing on Earth

Torches Red Light

We stare off through the night
Their torches red light
And as the sun begins to rise
We hear the battle cry
We prepare to fight
We prepare to die
Under the torches red light.

We have a cause worth dying for
We have our sheilds we have our swords
And We're completely focused
on the mission that we face
But we have more
Because inside
WE have a cause worth dying for.

And we know what is right
Blood spilt under the light
And it's the hate behind their eyes
That shouts into the night
We prepare to die
For what is right
Under the torches red light.

This Memorial Day

We salute every soldier who’s
 served this great nation.
And offer a heart of thanks
 and appreciation!

We salute each member
of our armed forces.
And are thankful for their
 efforts and resources!

We salute the many who
protect our borders too.
We’d be in trouble…
If not for people like YOU!

We salute every son and
daughter lost in a war.
YOU are what serving this
 country is meant for!

We salute the officers who’ve
guided our women and men.
Our prayers are with you!
And our love from within!

We salute our veterans!
Wherever they may be!
Those who served on
 land, air and sea!

Offering prayer to the
 Lord is our belief…
That he will guide our
 Commander-in-Chief!

As we observe Memorial Day this year…
Let’s offer our soldiers
 love, hope and cheer…

May God bless them in
 all they endeavor
And his peace be with them
 today and forever!!

Aquarian Dream I-- The Rebellion

Centuries are unfolded Filled with corruption and lies Where's the change A tyrant has an iron hand But we are the diamonds We appear to be coal darken by ash But with so many years of pressure we became diamonds Ready to strike We are the vein cut open The red, working for the gold Deter the tyrant We can win, Rise up against the guards Fight for our voice Our suffering will not go on You'll know what it's like to purge from your sins So many years of pain So many lies gilded with hope So much death and decay This will not go unheard Deter the tyrant He'll know what it's like to cease to exit Fight for our voice Fight for our freedom There must be a way

Rulership

God has set before you Jesus the son of man
given him his power the only one who can
Jesus walked on water and legions overthrew
healed every illness did as was sent to do

Few have little comprehension of his gifts to men
how they are empowered when Jesus lives within
to be the Sons of God have his Light shine through
understand his Words and it's energy imbue

God has given treasures the inheritance of Son
that they become like master God's Beloved One
they are under tutors until they understand
the meaning of his rulership and in it's service stand

The Sovereigns of the nations do their leadership abuse
are corrupt in practice and righteous judgment do refuse
the takers of bribes and justice do pervert
on the path to the top care not who they hurt

Solomon gave his heart to know folly and wisdom
every Son of God will into this knowledge come
for God will in his kingdom have only those who serve
as only those who walk in Love treat others as deserve

The working of the Secret since garden was foretold
that a government by God determined in days of old
God has chosen the weak and those the world despised
that they should bare his image to Jesus rank will rise

All governments and nations in adversary's hand do stand
to our Lord did offer them for act of worship did demand
Jesus refused the offer , devotion to his Father True
prophetic Word of God this world already overthrew

Arise oh sleepers do open eyes and rise
throw down the World and sever all your ties
understand what is written the King is drawing near
war is coming to the World collect he will whats dear

Jesus has built his Father's temple with many gem and stone
descend it will from heaven within his throne will home
God is collecting from man his priests and Kings
they will govern from his temple dispense his holy things

The nations to the temple for instruction will come
with the adversary gone Light can shine on everyone
you must choose your side before God's war ensues
for your Father wants you happy and never Love refuse

Soldier's Plea

We were shaped and fashioned as true saviors of peace,
Endorsed to spread honor and knock the enemy off his feet,
So, I raised my right hand, before God and before man,
To defend our constitution on water or on land,

To spread democracy's gift of love,
A trowel craftsman's tool was used from above,
So, we need your support and your prayers,
Sometimes I wonder if anyone even cares,

When we fight all day and all night,
Can our Democrats and our Republicans do what is right?
To put on this uniform takes a very courageous person of a special breed,
For we fight not just for our country, but, for other nations that are in need,

Even to this very day my friend,
I can not forget,
When those mad men, flew our planes from those Airports,
And into those buildings with no remorse,

So, United we shall stand or divided we shall fall,
My Soldier's plea is that this great country pulls together,
And may God help us all,

Land of the liberty and home of the brave,
Distinguished folks like our Generals and our Admirals,
Judges and Pastors,
Mothers and Fathers,
Little boys and little girls who represent our country,
From all over this world,

I need you to take a stand with me,
From the north to the south,
And from the east coast to the west coast,
Let us all boldly proclaim my Soldier's plea

Engagement

Our glory is in the favor of the God of Hosts
and into his anointed King do make our boasts
by his Love descends the latter rain
evidence that soon be he among us again

As the tares mature in the fields of wheat
we know that soon the harvest will complete
and thrust he will the sickle into the fields
collect the ripened fruit with her yields

For his servants do speak the proclamations
that Jesus will descend and rule the nations
and those he knows will collect to himself
for in their hearts treasured only Gods wealth

Tis but a remnant left upon your earth
who trust your Word of the Kingdoms birth
Gods woman has been faithful and true
because she knows her place is with you

She carries out her husbands Word
teaches the household of God things she's heard
understanding and wisdom of heart has gained
turned not left or right but on path remained

These Words are faithful and true
for Father by his Son does by Love renew
mankind searches the earth looking for treasure
but only the Love from God can bring true pleasure

The contractions of birth have begun
the Kingdom produced will be her Son
only those who have the Father known
will be permitted to enter before the Fathers throne

For in submission have given their life
the engagement of virgins who become his wife
cultivate the fields that God does plant
her work is manifest and Word extant

There can only one True Church be
who have trimmed their lamps for eternity
like living stones her foundations built
Jesus has cleansed his bride removed her guilt

With tenderness has shown her his Love
to guide her footsteps before Father above
with purity of heart and without guile
her robes are cleansed from things that defile

She has not hidden her husbands light
and with his guidance teaches wrong from right
her Love of God shines brightly through night
to keep his Trust Faith and Hope does fight

Amen says the Bride and Spirit come quickly My Lord
for the Words of God and Truth have we adored
into your sanctuary and church have fled
away from the World whose living is dead

The Shore Awaits

My head is heavy
with loneliness
as i sail into the moon
watching my reflection
run in circles
over and over i see
the deepest part of me
become lit with enmity
and endless misery
for it's difficult to look forward
when you live in a memory
and it's hard to kill
the voices that torture you
when those voices
come from your own mind
Why must I
hurt myself so?
hoping for a better tomorrow
when i make it
so it never shall be so?
I must find a way
to outsmart my sadness
to look past my own
imperfections
to let my feelings go
to let go of my fear
and to finally let go
of the thought of finding
a better world
So from this day forth
and this night that is to fall
I will set my sail forever
I will never stop moving forward
and i shall ride the lightning
and swim in the tsunami
because i can overcome
any odds that i already have not faced
I will find the land and shores of bliss
just speaking of the thought
makes me taste the sands
of times to come
follow me into the abyss
and i promise
the shore awaits

Watch

So quiet
Not a sound
Watching the water
As it sleeps though the night

A dark sky
No stars in sight
The city lights
But all persons sleep tight

A man
Standing alone
Talking to god
As if he was right beside him

Watching the waters
To be sure no enemies near
1 man standing alone
1 man standing between the enemy and the pier

The man
Continues to talk to god
Asking for a the family
That he wished he had

It’s dark
Dead of the night
There’s a sound
I think "here’s a fight"

Can’t see
Can’t find the enemy
He’s surrounded the water
1 man fighting for his life

He talks to god
As if he was right next to him
Pleading to stay alive
To see the future he so desperately wants

Lock n load
He loads a round
The dead of night
Is now full of useless chatter

200 yards
They’re all around
Where are they?
Where is the crew to help?

A man
You see his face
He has death in his eyes
As he points the gun in your face

Safety off
Pull the trigger
1 round goes off
Gun just jammed

A rocket
A ball of fire
Flies towards you
You know this is the end

Flash back
Of your life has been
Flash forward
Of the future you could have had

Coming closer
Bout to blow
A tap on your shoulder
A comrade saying "its time to go"

You look around
Dead of night
Not a single sound
Not a person in sight

On watch
With your .50 cal at hand
You fell asleep
Cause you’re the only man

This is what happens
When a sailor is alone
Standing watch at midnight
All on his own.

For Us

A life in service rendered,
sacrifices made and freedom given;
nothing deserves more thanks.

For us, they witness terror,
dying inside and out by the minute.

For us, they take other human lives,
doing what must be done
when others fall.

For us, they endure agony beyond imagining,
only to be berated by those they defend.
I will vouch for them,
even were I to stand alone;
nothing less have they earned.

For us, they give all -
for them, I give gratitude.

To all those who serve -
Thank you.

Who we become

I'm a poet of life, so read if you
dare. But let me forewarn you,
you're in for a scare.
For I don't see life, for the
light it portrays. I see life in the
dark, and the lives it betrays.
   In the shadows lurk demons,
and creatures so cold. Their
deeds have been hidden, their
stories untold.
   They work with great force,
tearing out heart and soul.
Once they've torn you apart,
you become a dark hole.
   Choking the world, deep
down in your chamber. Pulling
lives in, to drown in your anger.
I'll show you the depths, of
your hurt and your sorrow. And
drown out all hopes, for a
better tomorrow.
   Cause this world isn't
rainbows, sunshine and
butterflies. It's cruelty and
beasts, darkness and lies.
   So continue the path, that
you're so blindly walking. For
ignorance is bliss, and there's
no use in gawking.
But once at the end, of your
sick twisted trail. You'll find
you've grown weak, corrupted
and frail.
   And then in that moment,
you're mine for the taking. As
fear settles in, your bones
begin shaking.
I'll show you no mercy, for
my heart's cold and gritty.
Though caring and kind, I'm
void of all pity.
   I've grown harsh and
abrasive, in the years that have
past. And do all that I can, to
ensure I laugh last.
I won't let this world, bring
me down to its level. I'll never
succumb, or give in to the
Devil.
   Corruption surrounds me, I
walk a thin line. Between
righteous and evil, but I'm
doing just fine.
I hold strong to my faith, as I
punish the wicked. I unleash all
my anger, on the damned and
convicted.
In these dark times it is hard,
to define what is right. But my
only intention, is to fight the
good fight.
It's not that I want, to send
others to hell. I just want to
ensure, that our future sits
well.
   So my hands stained with
blood, drag me through each
cold day. And my boots caked
with mud, stomp them down,
where they lay.
While they gaze up upon me,
as their heart slowly dies. I sit
patiently waiting, 'til the light
leaves their eyes.
   Then I assure them, that
they'll soon find their place. If
God grants them mercy, they'll
be saved by grace.
For this life my dear friends,
is a gauntlet we run. And we're
all lost and roaming, beneath
the great sun.
   But remember that God,
cares not what you've done. So
long as good deeds, shape who
you become...

Outcome of War

Look at the hands of the boy
He held's a gun not a toy
Look where he played
Full of bullets and granades
Tell whats his games
Find a victim and then aim
Look what he just did
Pulled the trigger and killed a kid
Some stood up and stared
Like none ever cared
Its normal they say
In this cruel war today

HEAVEN'S HEROES

Winning souls tend to change everything,
Including who and what we are.
When our darkness within transforms to light
And our eyes have the luster of a star.

We must always pray for the lost among us
Who eagerly race toward the wrong direction.
So they may know their own repentance
Blessed by God’s, grace, love and protection.

All of heaven’s heroes have suffered remorse
From hate, fear, lust, loneliness and war.
They do what they do with deliverance of heart
Defeating the dark side of life and more.

Noah found safety within the beams of his ark
To endure heaven’s cleansing of earth.
Moses the deliverer, climbed a mountain
Descending with God’s guidelines of worth.

David the shepherd, a boy among men
Slew evil’s giant with a flying stone.
Samson the strong man, broke from his chains
Toppling the temple with God’s help alone.

Jonah was swallowed by a monster fish
To be cast up on shore with a prophecy to tell.
Jesus of Nazareth was nailed to the cross
And without his forgiveness we’re doomed to fail.

Lord I’ll feel blessed to greet all your heroes
When it is my time to escape my woes.
I’ll clutch their hands and kiss their face
As we celebrate the journey we chose.

I Love You

I love you is more than just my words,

It is this deep down driving force of a silent sound.

Love is a magnet igniting sparks to try higher light.

Love connects beaming light twinkling at midnight.

Unmistakably, I’m assured audibly to get this heard.

I love you is more than me,

Love is pending in the depths of me I touch.

This is more than what I can realistically feel.

It is a bargainer’s deal for the sweetest steal.

Evidently, I run wild because I set it all free!

I love you is less than you,

It is an uncut gashing wound,

With lifetimes of a scored scar,

It is a typhoon of who you are,

Apparently, it is difficult to do!

I love you is less than them,

It is always lost,

It is never found,

It binds to a cost,

Hearts are bound.

I love just like you,

And you love just like me!

I swear to my God Almighty from up above my heart is pure and true!

I really do embellish everything my love is suppose to do just for you!

Forever and ever, the whole world shall open their eyes daily to see!

In lieu of this unconditional love, it is here I will always want to be!

Adversity

I shed a lot of silent tears last night
Tensed greatly I was at my ill-starred plight
My vigor was deteriorating
My exuberance diminishing
Life sucked out of my soul I was dearly wishing
So many obstacles, so many hurdles in my path to success
So many stones to trip over, fall, and get unwell
I lay down weary on the earth so hard
Like a crumpled piece of paper; I could go no farthe
I wailed and moaned as my heart sank deep
Dreaded what in future I would possibly reap
When I was sowing weak seeds, I couldn’t possibly expect
To reap a bright future which stretched out far ahead
But what could I do; I was simply helpless
When my vigor was declining, I had to rest
In a state of deep depression I managed to get some sleep
Woke up I the next morning with a firm decision reached
Instead of grieving and wailing all the time “ I can’t do it !”
I’ll focus more on fighting adversity the way it is
Instead of pressure of work, depression drains a person more
These things are experienced, I can tell you for sure
Instead of wasting energy in hollering and complaining
It’s better to utilize it for productive earning
In chalking out plans how to cope with obstacles
Deem over them and carry them out practical
Be consistent in your endeavors to fight back adversity
Lose heart if you will , it will eat you without pity
Keep your hopes high and your faith strong
Stick to the unchallenging right and evade the wrong
Work to the optimum and hope for the best
Whatever you cannot do, to God leave the rest
Pay heed to my advice and follow my words
They are surely going to help you, at present or afterwards
To lose the war with adversity is to never start it for the fear of losing it
To win the war with adversity is not only to defeat it but also die fighting it

Observation of the weary wanderer

I bring forth my confession tonight.

Ashamed to call myself human due to actions of others.

As we butcher our brothers and sister due to politics and corrupt actions.

Blinded by ignorance we have forgot why we have been place in the first place.

Destroying the live of millions and millions of families.

Bring upon unnecessary enemies and wars.

Leaving households with orphans and widows.

As their loved ones are taken by death and the shadows.

For how long will we destroy one another.

As we standby killing our foreign sisters and brothers.

Brainwashed by reality shows and explicit music videos.

We are unaware of the suffering and crippled war heroes.

What happen to the wisdom, justice and love that God has given us.

Have we swept it away like spec of dirt and dust.

Forgetting the wars our elders have in the past.

Have we forgotten why we're here.

Why got has given us this task.

Should we look into the past.

And find a solution to the future.

when will we finally face reality?

Who are These People Pt 2

who are these people?
where did they come from?
of all the aromas in existence, the foul smell from the mouth of an 87 year old man
who has had gingivitis for 32 years
and has had rheumatoid arthritis in his wrist for the past 23
making it difficult, almost impossible to brush his teeth
is unquestionably the most repulsive characteristic of my job.
the bumpy, but crater filled skin that covers majority of guests
shows the degeneration caused by poor nutritional choices
an overall lack of physical exercise,
and a lifestyle filled and toxified with consumerism and media injected promotional poison,
they buy, and buy then buy some more
actually believing that the need the items they purchase
knick knacks, glass coasters, another Friday night dress
more liquor, more cigarettes, more disease,
another pair of shoes, a DVD,
consume, consume, consume
till their souls are consumed with materialistic so called needs
a new belt, more beer, more stress another year
buying things to bring gratification , trying to remove the fear
hats, drugs, amusement parks, comedians
sex shops, fancy cars, impulsive desires,
new computer, new thrill, another method of destruction
years of being killed now can’t even carry on a discussion.

Last Night I Went to War

Last Night I Went to War

Last Night I Went to War,
On an unknown battlefield known to secret soldiers clothed in shame and
disgrace,
Tongue speaking samurai,
Last night I went to war,
On an unknown battlefield with weapons of mass destruction,
God given warfare of a secret guild,
I went to war not against Iraq, but the spirit of blind fundamentalism,
Last night I went to war against an unknown enemy who torments me day and
night,
With a brother from old who I love dearly,
A brother of great courage and integrity,
Last Night I went to war against my father’s cancer and mother’s insomnia,
Last Night I went to war against my daughter’s fear of isolation and my
therapist’s impending neck surgery,
Last night I went to war for America and the freedom that it stands for,
And I’ve had many casualties,
I’ve heard voices telling me to drive off the road,
And I’ve felt dark forces rise up in my mind to steal the beauty of my
consciousness,
Last night I went to war for my nation,
A wondrous eagle, young and impetuous, righteous and misguided,
And I felt the strength of the cosmos well up within me and I knew for a moment
that God is real,
Last Night I went to war with a brother for life and longer for a 4 year old girl
tormented by the beauty of her own soul,
And It through me off track and now once again I sit confused and alone,
But look into her eyes I tell you and see the peace of freedom,
To look into her eyes I tell you and see the peace of a freedom that alludes me,
It’s worth it,
It’s worth every moment of torment,
For to look to that day,
That blessed day,
When all the Jews and Muslims and Buddhists and Hindus and Right Wing
Christians and Atheists and Agnostics and Liberals and Conservatives and
Blacks and Whites and Reds and Yellows and Communists and Murderers and
Terrorists and Infidels and Thieves and Saints Alike are all on the same side,
To look to that blessed day when all are one and we look to the enemy and
say “No not one Satan, YOU CAN’T HAVE EVEN ONE!”
To look to that blessed day I tell you, I am chosen beyond the dismal nature of
this moment.
To look to that blessed day I tell you, I am lifted high above to the mind of God
and know Joy,
I don’t care how many friends I lose or loved one’s turn against me, I will keep
fighting.
I will keep fighting in unseen battlefields,
Until all are one.

Foreordination

Your Word Oh God is our bread
by your prophecy are we led
your Truth Oh Lord shall be our wine
for by these two do our lives define

Though your sins be as scarlet you be made white as snow
when you accept Jesus and his Father come to know
no earthly treasure that exists on earth below
can compare to the riches to his Sons do show

You do with Holy Spirit lead
your servants to those who True Love need
to give understanding to hearts who hear
and knowledge that your King draws near

Your servants on earth do know your will
the veracity of Truth you in them instill
the prophetic Word by life do fulfill
exposed the lie that by death does kill

We are but clay molded by your power
the life we live tis but an hour
you must guide and teach your ways
to live by your Word is endless days

From ages to ages you are our God
with the Truth of Kingdom our feet are shod
like forefathers and prophets your name do laud
We have accepted your will and given our nod

Through the pen of Truth do prophets speak
whose origins humble and nature meek
you chose the weak of the world to confound the wise
to spread the Truth and uncover the lies

You nurture those who seek your face
who know this system you will replace
the gifts of God been given a taste
who know their lives they must not waste

Jesus the firstborn of a new creation
with him the Sons of God rule the nations
the wise virgins have trimmed their lamp
with his seal of approval received his stamp

In the latter rain do Sons and Daughters prophesy
uncover the Truth and reveal the Lie
within your dreams and visions do see
from the past and future what is to be

Brass Buttons

Brass buttons on his green coat.
Pride of America but mostly his folks.
Proud to serve his country in war.
His coat is missing buttons it is torn.
He`s reported missing and presumed dead.
A nightmare all parents dread.
He died for the country he loved.
He`s in Heaven above.
His brass buttons shining in the sun.
God smiles and says "welcome home my son."

The Act

"The smile then melts off her face
in a frantic heat of boiling, screaming rage
and trickles down into a pool
of boundless sorrow...."

React like you think they think you should
Whether or not you really feel good

The act will pass on
and so will they
soon enough

Don’t you show your pain
Keep pretending you’re still sane

This life
is a dream
and it’s not long now
‘till we all wake up

The American Legend

Soaring high, as the American's eagle pride higher now than ever before once more, elevated nearly every last peak how to mistreat the meek, weak unguided son why can't you offer unrequited love to everyone? oh, lord save me I cannot escape the agents that take hold of me, they surround me... So I levitate up and unbounded seems I've once again found it an escape, from an uneasy paradise This burst explosion A never ending love-peace energy welling up inside me like an underwater atom bomb forever and ever I shall go on accordingly unknown An art recession? let me make a correction this boy's a legend from birth on up banging hard breaking his way through the wall life can sometimes often throw up come crashing hard on the ground I wake knowing the feeling to lose everything except from what I learned from well known legends who made the wings I fly high on

A Nation of Fighters

We are no longer ordinary human beings,
Nine Eleven, The Iraqi War,
and Oil Spills, have turned us into a nation
of survival fiends,
A nation of fighters,
excelling beyond the boundaries that
have been set or the traps that we have
met along the way, from the youngest to the oldest,
We have learned to endure and overcome
the hand of devastation that the enemies have dealt,
and although they have left their welts upon us,
We stll exist.........

Honor

       When you learn
              To live
          With Honor
    You have learned
       The definition
      Of many words
            Such as
            Bravery
           Sacrifice
           Defense
           Freedom
              Truth
             Loyalty
            Respect
               Pride
               Love
     And compassion
 For once a brave man
    Through sacrifice
  Went out in defense
          Of freedom
Out of loyalty and respect
     When he returned
 With a newfound pride
    He offered his love
  All of his compassion
         Making him
        An example
        Of the word
            Honor

  Written in Honor of
         Our friend
    Joseph Spence
        May my son
   Come home to be
            A man
     As honorable

The American Flag

The American Flag, is red, white and blue
To you, I salute, this is what I do.

The American Flag, you stand so free
To you, I salute, with love from me.

The American Flag, nicknamed Old Glory
To you, I salute, a flag with a story.

The American Flag, you changed over the years
To you, I salute, with a song and music to our ears.

The American Flag, we display you with pride
To you, I salute, your true colors we do not hide.

The American Flag, what can I say
To you, I salute, each and everyday.

The American Flag, raised by a rope
To you, I salute, you give us hope.

War and Peace

He comes to shake the foundations of the earth
the work of every hand of man to prove
to punish the unjust and expose sin
and those who hate righteousness he will remove

He has sent the call into all existing lands
that men should seek peace and it pursue
to separate the wheat and tare
and expose the hidden things men do

To close every mouth that speaks a lie
uncover every thought of hatred done
he has freely offered you a life of truth
but will not spare to scourge when they come

For the stories told in time are now fixed
and what is written in its scroll now firmly set
he will open them for his kings to judge
and those who have found mercy their sins forget

Those appointed to be Kings will take their station
they will rule with Christ for a thousand years
subject to the rule of God is every nation
no war will there exist or the inclement of fears

For though the promise seems long in coming
all the signs are made visable by light
raise your eyes oh Israel your God comes judging
and will reward those who have walked in right

Be reconciled in heart to seek the truth
that who you are you come to understand
You are called to love truth and your brother
until the peace of God lives in the land

The trumpets blast call the armies to their war
the winged ones ride the winds of wrath to charge
and poured out is the fury of his chalice
the cup of violence is deep and large

For all governments of man are chains to slavery
their aim to lift themselves and you to rule
but Christ's intent is to lift you from this knavery
that you might not become the fires fuel

So make your peace and seek his mercy now
for when this time arrives will be too late
though undeserved the offer of forgiveness
the price will be too high if delay you wait

Symbolism

a flag flown at half mast
a salute remembered that was the last
a star placed behind a glass
a quiet gathering to bury a lad
a moment of silence for those that past
the respect and honor for those
that died in the blast
a bugle playing Taps for what could not be
the last
a flag folded and then passed

then the soldier lowered into the ground
feels that glory from all a round
his body lies at rest
but his spirit receives that which is best
to know that by his countrymen he was blessed
to a soldier that died in combat that is best

Earth's Physician

Earth's Physician
by Lori Maria Walton

When earth is violently ill,
  breathing laboriously to survive,
Who becomes her physician?
Where is a medicine that can heal?

Aggressive stampedes of soldiers
running to misguided missions of Glory
Green fields traded for green paper
  Rushing to force earth's marriage

The earth knows the secret plots
  of Kings, Presidents, and Lords
Yet she remains silent, through gestation
  until the birth is imminent

Greed recklessly wanders to distant lands
spreading darkness, leaving corridors void of compassion
Blinding creatures with power
Not knowing it is their brothers, sisters, children they eat

Earth remains a silent witness
   Adorned with a submissive veil
Azure and scarlet hues in a golden sky
with a scent of Jasmine speaking peace
To a world that will not listen.

Instead, her sacredness is lifted to the crowds
for the highest bid, the plunder, the rape continues
she bleeds, screams and breathes her last
He laughs haughtily thinking he has won.

He won... Has he won?
Who is left to give birth to life?
Perhaps we do not see
In death, she has saved us all...

A Soldier Boy's Flag

Bright curious eyes…
He watches it parade past

With soft morning words…
He promises his faithfulness

Standing straight and tall…
He renews his oath with a salute

With a shoulder slung rifle…
He defends and protects it

Now adorning his casket…
He has given his life for it

CounterCulture

We are young and try to be, Independent and free.
Got the world beneath our feet, they took our innocence to keep.
These the men of old, who swapped their hearts for shining gold.
Now they try to steal our souls to wrap around their brittle bones.
Locked in chambers made of stone, their children they beg to play alone.
Wrapped up tight in broken ropes, they pray for guns instead of hope.

But we found love, we will thrive, despite the lies that you deny.

And we will end what you begun. Turn our backs onto the sun.
We run through the night fighting for our sacrificial right.
And we howl to the moon, like it is what we were born to do.
And when we hear the gypsy's chant, we stand up tall and dance.
When the sun begins to rise, we bow our heads and close our eyes.
Because we are young and try to be, independent and free.

Her Love is Strong

After the aftermath
A love can be so strong
To nurse back to health
The receiver of that bomb

My darling husband James
In Helmond Province so
Walked through a doorway
And then that bomb did blow

He lay there stunned and bloodied
Attempting to get up and stand
But the bomb had done its damage
He was left two thirds of a man

He was flown home the next day
I couldn't wait to be by his side
He said he'd lost his legs
But he said it full of pride

He would rather it was he
Who crossed the doorway that day
Its the spirit of our soldiers
That makes them speak this way

Days and weeks pass
As his healing takes its time
Wheelchair bound is my darling James
But a man still in his prime

Many months have passed
As we get on with our lives
To me he's the guy i married
So proud to be his bride

Perfect Love

Perfect Love is what makes a powerful nation
What makes hurt and depression
Fade bleakly away
Perfect Love is what makes jealousy rooth-up
What makes countries' hate
Unfold

They thought a crash - a destruction or two
Of buildings we seemed to need
They thought the killing of our citizen's
Would make us fear them
But they know not our country's Perfect Love
The Love that God has shown
For the opposite of Love isn't Hate, but Fear
And Perfect Love casteth out ALL Fear

Through our Perfect Love - We Stand Tall
And Lift our heads Up
We Rebuild our land and Fight Back
But How?

America chose war
To kill and own the Terrorists' land
To devour the skin that we so shame-
Seems to be the answer and way we so claim

But in the process - We Die
We Kill Ourselves
Slowly, this war turns from Dieing For Heart
To Dieing For Pleasure
Has America lost sight of its own Perfect Love?

You may agree, or disagree, to my opinion
But war shows the weakness of a man's conscience
War shows Fear that the attacker will corrupt
And devour their prey
IF it hadn't, the what would be the point of it
Wasting thousands to millions, maybe even billions, or dollars killing
Killing People we shouldn't, and the waste of Natural Resources of our people?
War means to show that you ain't a punk,
Or ain't as 'weak' or as 'subordinate' to other people as they think
But doesn't Perfect Love show the heart of its people?

What should we do...
I don't know
But the question should be opposed to Perfect Love
The Perfect Love we So claim.

Knock It Down

down down down, knock it down to the basement
blowing stuff up for a book never made sense
the books were made, we've been screwed since
religion should be talked about in past tense
hence, the age of ignorance is over
ill put the burdens of the weak on my shoulders
its a heavy weight to carry
but death is a women i would gladly marry
if it means i could stop the torment and destruction
of our youth, they don't deserve to be corrupted
the mind is pure, void of superstition
don't transmit unto your loved one your condition
let them grow up, and make their own decision
because i know if you did they would never choose the same path
they would figure out the simple math
they would never be so arrogant
to believe this world was heaven sent
and was made with them in mind
they would reject any mention of a being divine
only wealth and religion can cause a man to be so vain
eternity, what is there to gain
is this life and this world not enough for you
you need another, and another, and another too
it is sad to see you wasting the only life you have
don't let your children fall victim to the same fad

Tha Last Battle The Battle Of Armaggedon

Armageddon...

This world and all
 of it's confusion.
Shall one day reach a
 dramatic conclusion.

All of the wars and battles shall end.
That day our Messiah returns
 to earth again.

So much has clearly been said and written.
Concerning the final battle
called Armageddon.

Have you been paying attention
 to the latest news.
Concerning the country of
Israel and the Jews?

Israel will be alone that dreadful day.
All of the Jews will bow
their heads to pray.

All at once... They'll look
 up into the sky!
Behold! Their messiah
returns from on high!

On a white horse... Jesus and his
army shall prevail.
All of man's weapons will be
destroyed and fail.

He shall reveal himself, along
with his pierced hands.
And will reign triumphant
 throughout the lands.

He shall rule and reign for 1000 years.
There'll be peace and ;joy.
 No more tears.

Will you be with him when he returns?
Or here on earth... as this world burns?

Heaven or hell. Which will be
 your home?
The choice is yours. And yours alone...

I Cry

For those who have served
and died for our freedom
I cry.

For those who's families
have suffered a lose
I cry.

For those who left
thier children alone
I cry.

For those who lost
thier mothers, fathers,
sons and daughters
I cry.

As I salute you for your bravery
tears I will cry from sorrow
You shall never be forgotten
for tears I will cry tomorrow.

Honor is something that those that do no battle speak of
Shame is something dictated by those who have not survived
I have felt a shame in that which I have done
but also a love in those I have fought beside
a knowing and an understanding that
if you do not stand beside me
you will never be allowed to judge me

We'll defeat terrorism as it should be fought
Never letting Satan's horde chase us to our door.
Safeguarding our borders and system of life
As our forefathers sacrificed before.

Never be afraid to be proud of America
And march with the brave, faithful and just.
Refusing to summit to the will of our enemies
Standing firm to preserve what we trust.

America has survived all attempts to destroy
Knowing the cruelty and sorrow of war
And we who remain must help keep her free
For those who can march no more!

Those who wish to be President
Must practice what they teach.
For their people need inspiring
To believe what they preach.

Take heed therefore, unto yourselves
You overseers of the flock
Or the voters shall cast you out
For your futures are not of rock.

Life may place us in deep waters
Though it doesn't wish us to drown.
It's our past record that lets others know
Who we are as we smile or frown.

If you wish to be remembered
From the truth you must never part.
Power corrupts the best of us
When we stop listening to our heart.

they lie there waiting, still serving

Last Call

Truth abounds when booze backs the ballpoint.
You
Passionately dirty,
		You,
		 Disgustingly poignant.
You walked out on people to walk back into yourself.
 	Never an apology,
		Always an argument,
			Sexually charged
		Willing to strike twice.

Gone are the days of the brutally honest.
Fear slaughters confidence.
Validation obliterates rejection.
Mickey Mouse erases the ideals of
			A birthing nation.

The bombs that go off, now, are literally never literary.
The screams left on the battlefield
	Cry out for another Bukowski.

It’s last call at the Black Sparrow
And no one’s listening anymore.
You, don’t have to go
But, you can’t stay here.

it's just as well still

while reporting to those

the dark deeds of Syrian powers
A decade ago they took her eye
in Sri Lanka, but not her vision

War correspondent or photographer
is a risky title to carry
in many places on the globe,
but needs to be carried
with a terminal conviction
to those gentle of peace

Drones, tanks, and roadside IED's

THE DISTORTION OF MAN

We’re sought by Satan of that I’m sure
As he plots to derail our soul.
Greed, hate, lust, anger and fear
Are deeds which facilitate his coal.

He smiles at lies, cheating and theft
He laughs at never-ending war.
He drools to conquer the hearts of man
Shadowing every window and door.

Tempting all with unclean pleasures
His success is weakness and desire.
We triumph only through the power of faith
Avoiding eternal torment and fire.

Goodness and evil illustrate life
Like the two sides of every coin.
Most can’t help but experience both
As we learn who to trust, follow and join.

Praise our Lord for morals and ethics
The laws of heavenly command.
Without God’s armor and his grace
We become the distortion of man.

ABOUT FREEDOM

IRONIC IS THIS TALE
ABOUT FREEDOM

ANALIZE THE TERM "FREEDOM"
AND ONE CAN CONCLUDE
THAT FREEDOM IS BORN OUT OF PAIN
AS ONE COMES PAINFULLY FROM THE CONFINES OF THE WOMB

WARS ARE FOUGHT FOR FREEDOM
WARS ARE PAINFUL WHILE WARS ARE WAGED

ALL FREEDOM IS BORN FROM PAIN
I THEREFORE ACCEPT THE PAIN AND THE FREEDOM

In the Eyes of a Soldier

There I was,
Standing in the field,
Cocking and firing
With no warning to yield

I hear the drumming of drums
The stomping of feet
The yelling of people
With a particular beat

I want to go home
But I just can’t leave
So I keep on moving
Continuing to grieve

I think of my family
And my friends at my home
I wonder what they are doing
While I stare at my chrome

Patches of blood
Down on my shirt
But it doesn’t bother me
My soldiers are hurt

So I take my turn
To stand and be proud
I cock my gun
In this vicious war cloud

I aim and then shoot
Hitting my mark
But in the sky
I saw a bright spark

I thought it was over
But again and again
The bombs keep on coming
Killing our men

But we will not surrender
We will keep moving forward
Marching and shooting
While continuing onward

FLY-BOYS

World War I gave us the fly-boys
Who flew by the seat of their pants.
Many would never return from war
While others survived by chance.

Their planes were mostly canvas and wood
Gasoline, bullets, bombs and poison gas.
Every pilot carried his own pistol
Wearing leathers, scarf and goggles of glass.

Aviators had no Parachutes
To escape their burning plane.
Many were forced to jump to their death
Or self inflect a bullet to the brain.

Blimps where known as battleships of the sky
The roar of their engines gave reason for fear.
They flew so high they were hard to shoot down
Hiding above clouds till their targets drew near.

Tracer bullets for the first time were used
In the guns of airplanes to set blimps a fire.
The skies became man’s highway of death
With duty and honor their driving desire.

How many Fly-boys have we lost since then
Those days of the Great War and more?
Where do we get such brave souls of chance
Who rise from the rest in the battles of war?

GrandPa V.

A man's man, He'd been in the war,
saw many places not seen before.

Liked to work with His hands,
smoked a pipe and came from France.

Raced His horse on Sunday,
and used it to plow on Monday.

Liked to wear suits and hats,
but didn't like the neighbors cats.

He had built the first bus,
so school wouldn't be missed.

Made Me a toy barn when I was 3,
came to all My birthdays, just for Me !

Taught Me to work very hard,
didn't like people who turned to lard.

Stuck up for Me when I was a kid,
cared a lot when nobody did !

Had worked for the railroad,
up in Ashland where it's very cold.

Showed Me how to work with wood
and told Me how to dance with girls good.

Kept his car shiny and bright,
at 20 years old, it was a beautiful site.

He showed Me respect...
and told my studies not to neglect.

Loved Grace his wife,
and was with Her for life.

Helped to make Me a man,
and to be all that I can !

Blame

Slavery is over.
The economy is weak.
We finally got Obama;
But the future still looks bleak.

Who is there to blame?
Watch fingers go everywhere.
Every one grab a mirror...
Stand and Stare.

FATHER already sent his son
to save us once.
But here we are behaving,
with such disgrace and disgust.

Change is a must!

Prayer is required!
You must let go of your wicked ways
in which you have aquired.

Time travels fast;
We were just in our past.
To change to future,
we must take church like class...

Pencils and Pads!

Only tell the seasons by the trees,
is what the bible told me.
Natural disasters, death pain,
homeless, unfed, disease.
Foolish look around;
Don't you see?

But don't become aftraid...
Become heaven made.
Through your belief,
You can be saved.

Judgment Seat

Those of us who read and study the Bible know that there is a spiritual war going
on.

There is a war against us and them, good and evil.

Are you going through life just living for the moment.

What about your future?

Life is not just for the moment, but eternity.

Where will your soul rest?

Where will you spend eternity?

Do you know to whom you belong?

You must be in position to accept your fate if you died this second, the next
minute, or an hour from now.

Are you ready to stand before the judgment seat?

If Yes,” then you must reach out to God now!”

A WORLD OF MY DREAMS

As I tread outside smiling
The joy of freedom seems to have gone missing
The feeling of equality and security
Overtaken by the sights of torture and misery

Trust and faith lay shattered
Families divided, growing hatred
Scarcity of food, education in shambles
Is this the gift for the next generation?

Why is there no war against poverty
Why no war against illiteracy
Why no one to fight the war against hunger
And why no one to fight War on AIDS, the biggest danger

As the bullets fly and bombs explode
The howls of crying babies go loud
The scare and pain of getting orphaned
In their mind, always embedded

Few faces of evil and cruelty
Seems to be creating havoc for the majority
Why are they using their ability
To fight this WAR ON HUMANITY

In a flash, walking, I feel so lonely
Tears flowing on feeling their hunger and poverty
Hoping for a home and education for all
I pray for universal peace and health for all

I feel, not for me, but for us all here
I pray for a world where cruelty to humans, no one hears
But, I ask, “Can my prayers ever come true”?
YES !! Only if with me I also have ALL OF YOU

Turning Anguish part 2

Missing a remarkable meaning in my life
I’m the woeful sacrifice
play me as the dice
on the solid table
and roll me and speak of a fable
don’t toss me
like a valueless toy
brushing…echoing harsh envy
Heed to our last plea

You’ll face dire rage
giving no mercy to your desire
Are you aware you fed my wrath?

Mercy-filled bliss
don’t exist in this pile of vile
father…mother
Don’t bother to trace our passing ease
that we dearly missed

What could brew these ruins to love?
Disbelief covers my once kind heart
conquered by avarice
Unforgettable doom,
has been written on our tombs,
sending us a last kiss of unmoved death
Giving us futility…
Leaving us without a breath

Behave and deal with
frightening bolts that dare
break us apart
and turn it to denied anguish

Who’s doing all the blaming?
Who’s choosing our faults?
We all do our part in it
That’s the troubling truth
Toil cheers up the spoil
What could we do
to get us ahead of
Power?
stricken in toil
Separate the spoil
that crumbles away like foil

Give us little power
and lift up the broken twin towers
and fill us with
Unspoiled love
The only choice
is to patch-up our love
and strip off the turning anguish
and fill us with
Unspoiled love

The only choice
is to patch-up our love
and strip off the turning anguish
and fill us with
Unspoiled love
Your sun will shun out strife
and be a kit to fix up concealed love
and fill us with
harmless love

The Fall of the Black Angels

This last few years
Had seen fighting so coarse
Having vowed never to fight
Viewing histories remorse

The black angels of angst
Went back on their word
The earth for themselves
It's what they preferred

No explanation
No discussions met
Their war on the innocents
In their mind was set

Attacks they launched
No one was spared
Children slaughtered
They did not care

Weeks and months
Passed like days
Earth to be lost
In their deathly plays

A time traveller
From the past was called
Semaj to the Galaxy
His past exploits recalled

He was the one
Who downed Racolyn
The Butterfly winged Elf
Never to be seen again

The Parliament of Federation
His presence requested
The read of his past
Again to be tested

In hangers were gathered
Angels in flocks
Like squadrons of light
Beside their space ships docked

Loaded on board
The water of life
In missile form
To rid the black strife

Orders given
The space ships depart
To save natures earth
Again to restart

Co-ordinates entered
Black angels located
The water of life
Divine of the created

All weapons are primed
Loaded to demise
Ignore the crying
For the blackened dying

Hours and days
As the white angels fought
With Semaj leading
In heraldic taught

Black angels retreating
Their fight fading to light
The last of them captured
Earths Parliament in delight

We thank Semaj
And Etto his droid
Another scar for this planet
In possible avoid

The war of the angels
Had come to an end
White versus black
In victorious mend

On this planet earth
In it's year 2338
White angels are predominant
Nature's soul mate

Battle

Why these battles present themselves? Unknown...
Out of my control,
Gotta let it roll,
What can I do?
Be honest and true,

Sometimes doesn't seem right,
Comes day by day,
Learning which ones to fight,
That's the trick

Dwell on the wrong,
Or concentrate on the good,
Have faith in your choices,
All will be mellow in the hood

Imsoulpregnable

My mind, not weakened by life,
My heart protected, by my soul.
There is honor, in doing what is right.
Believing in myself, being true to my pride,
Makes my soul impregnable,
keeps my spirit gold...

The battle cries, the wind that blows,
then quickly dies,
Nights spent shivering in the cold.
My spirit shall not be broken,
My courage will never fold.

My interior walls, shall not be penetrated
or cause me to fall in shame for the
things I've done & those I have hated.
For me there is no regret,
No, apologies, for the life I lived
or have, to live yet...
The brick that holds me
together and keeps my spirit gold...
is the strength of my
impregnable soul....

When All Is Said And Done

Regarding the darkness, the treachery of man
I’ve inhaled its breath; I’ve held its hand

Look at the fate of the Jews in World War 2
Condemned by coward who killed himself to

No guts to face the horrific crimes he had done
I reckon there are those who will follow anyone

Our Son home from one war waiting on another
As I watch it tear out the heart of his mother

And after all is said and done, “Who am I”
Just an old wore out convict waiting to die

At least I have the balls to go out with a fight
Though sometimes the day recedes to the night

So tell me why is it that man acts this way
Nailed Christ to the cross one real dark day

It’s amazing we can live with what we’ve done
Just the shame that I alone carry is not any fun

One day each and every of us will meet our maker
He will either accept our soul or let Satan be the taker

When all is said and done the only thing I know
To help you get to heaven Satan could have my soul

PUNGENT

We will not let this rest
We have only been wounded
We will heal and become stronger
Then we will defeat our enemy
We will stand together
Fight with honor and courage
We are warriors that will survive
To take our place
With the Gods of the past
Prepare for a mighty battle
Tonight eat and drink
Be loving to your family
Sleep and dream of triumph
For the coming first light
We will be steadfast
Too our Victory
Remember why we fight
For those who braved before us
They now look down upon us
Holding the light to the path
For us to pungent our rivals
Away from our honorable and deserved
Place in the sky
We will rejoice
This time they will not forget

' A Poet, Goes To War ... '

‘ A Poet Goes To War … ’ ( Josh. 23: 10, 11 )

A Gentle-Poet … Goes To War
Oh … How Far … How Far … How Far …
Did You Push A Tender Heart
before Poet Finishes, What You Start ?

Just Like That Musician, Shepherd – Boy
whom a Lion and Bear, Dared Annoy ------ 1 Sam. 17: 37
Trying to Steal Some of His Precious Sheep
Poet, Showed Them … What’s His … He Keeps !

And That Same, Brave-Poet Went To War
Against Goliath’s Insulting, Roar ! ------ 1 Sam. 17: 45 – 51
… But With just One Pebble Fling
That Poet’s, Sling, Thru All Of Time … Rings !

And If A Wise-Poet Goes To War …
That Poet … May Wound and Scar ------- Acts 7: 54, 57
For Words, Gouge Deeper Than Stones
Pen’s Mightier Than Sword … Cuts Clean To The Bone !

But, You made Poet … ‘your’ Foe, with Mock-Chimes
The First Thought … Just Give Them, Calm-Down-Time
But, Know … This Poet Thrives … Behind Enemy Lines
Forgiving and Wishing, God-Giving, Words-Divine !

‘Cause When Peace-Loving-Poets… Go To War …
‘We’ … Must Travel by: The Bright Morning Star --- Rev. 22: 16
and Wait on His Orders … His Way
and I’m Cautious … Like ‘The Commander’ Says … -- Matt. 10:16

So, Before you feel The Need To Spar ---- Zeph. 2: 2, 3
Before… Big Poets … Have To Go To War ---- Genesis thru Revelation
… Know That Such Poets … Are Word–Warriors
… Don’t Make ‘em Go Off … on ya’ !

‘Cause you Won’t Survive … The Tongues of Fire ---- Acts 2: 3, 4
( or The ‘ Lake ’ Either … If You Live Like A Liar … ) --- Rev. 21: 7, 8
Gon’ Wind Up, Locked Behind Abyss’ Bars
… For Making ‘ Poor-Poets ’ … Go To Wars ! ---- Matt. 18: 6

Evil vs Good

War, War, War
Use the skills of love and mercy
Use the skills of wisdom
Unstress yourself from the burdens of life.

Become grateful for life and its beauty
Come walking toward the Good side of peace.
Peace has happiness.
War it is to not always to gain evil but it does hurt.

Imperfection makes it hard to balance many things.
Try to do your best and you will get the best out of your works.
Love yourself and others
Dream sweet-dreams and enjoy life.

Repel from people with evil spirit and push them away.
Gain more power from the people who rejoice in a good heart.
Make more friends that influence you to move upward towards success.
Its up to you who will win the battle of Evil vs Good.

Twenty-four Seven

We are in a war 24-seven A great spiritual controversy Originally begun in heaven Any war on earth equates nimbly This war is invisible To us dwelling on earth This war between good and evil Calls for Christians’ rebirth We are soldiers requiring armor The full armor of God employed Found in the Holy Scriptures Least we’re all here destroyed “Greater is He that is in you Than he that’s in the world” These words give us hope When Satan’s rockets are hurled This war is intensifying As we live out our daily lives Satan’s ramping up his measures Least any of us survive Christ is his adversary For jealousy is the key To this spiritual warfare That involves you and me This war is for the souls Created by our Lord To shine forth His glory Something for Satan to create discord He’d have us held in death’s clutches If he could have his say Having been caste out of heaven This war of revenge is his play God’s powers are greater Than this once shining star God’s victory soon to be relished Satan an earthly memoir We need the full armor of God 24-seven held in this battle Need God to fight this war for us For the enemy is most brutal. War

War is a thing that I hate most
But there are some people who boast
And make war inevitable
And peace on earth is not their goal:
They wage war because they are selfish -
Blood seems to be their favorite dish!

Wounded

America has been wounded
with a stinging to our hearts
So many lives were taken
so many families torn apart
Mothers withour their children
sons and daughters missing fathers
Fathers missing sons and daughters

America has been wounded
with a stabbing to our back
Somewhere out of no where
four speeding hijacked planes
Crashing into buildings
leave nothing but remains
Terrorists attacked our nation
faceless cowards with no names

America has been wounded
with a numbing to our minds
Heroes desperately searching
for some signs of life
Americans pulling together
helping others through their strife

America has been wounded
but we are still ALIVE

Don't Stay Don't Go

Do you feel the pressure in the air?
If not let me make you aware,
Humans are being taken by humans,
That sounds damn wrong to me, put down the guns,
We are all mankind,
We have this government set mind,
I know there is cruel in this world,
I am beyond this no innocent girl,
Wish I could replace those heroes,
I scream about it but it stays on the low,
There’s a need for war,
Can’t ignore who started this blur,
They want to take us down,
No regard to mother and child,
Brainwashed that its o.k.,
To take any American away,
Their having their day’s now,
Suffering just like when those two towers went down,
So we evacuate all the hate,
Does it make it o.k., no way,
Bound to destroy the human race,
It will happen either way,
Can’t control ourselves I guess,
Does it make us more or make us less?

Home Coming

He's been away to the war so long,
We're over joyed that he's home.
He's fought for our country and what stories will be told.
He's waited out his sentence in an obligation spent.
In the war for all tomorrow and the dreams that have been sent.
To the east in the deserts, to the west in the sands.
He's seen the rush of blood and pain and knows that it will never end.
He's wondered over days at a time, will I ever know that home come of mine?
To hear laughter and joy instead of pain and morn.
To hear words of good cheer, instead of words of yesteryear.
To hear and feel the breeze as it blows and know that there's no place like home.
To be able to walk down the street and not have to worry what's lurking or at
peak.
He's wondered and waited for such along time,
That it's hard for him to believe it's just a state of mind.
But, he no longer has to wonder, he no longer has to wait for his home come is
upon him and its been well worth the wait.

My Flag

Don't make fun of my flag that hangs on my wall,
It's not there for you'r amusement, thats not it at all.
I love my flag,it's rips and tears,
it gives me belief that someone cares.
So don't make fun of my flag that hangs there still,
it blows free and waves at will.
It moves with the wind when it blows through it's strands,
It weeps and cries in a soldiers hands.
My flag stands strong when most will fall,
It's been through dozens of wars,my flag has seen it all.
So the next time you laugh at my flag coming apart at the seams,
Think of the dead and you will hear there screams.
I raise my hand in honor to my torn old flag,
I am proud of the colors and for that I brag.

Soldier Boy

If tomorrow never comes
Then Lord I hope this day is good
I'm just an okie from Muskogee
Carrying your love with me
I go walkin' after midnight
From a thousand miles from nowhere
Silver medals and sweet memories
Of what might have been
All is fair in love and war
And who needs pictures
Take this job and shove it
And this dirt road too
If we make it through December
I'll go on lovin' you
For this is however feels
My woman my woman my wife
After the fire is gone
Please make the world go away
I'd march from here to eternity
With sixteen tons strapped to my side
For the ships that don't come in
It must be killing time again
Thank God I'm American Made
And not a moment to soon
So darlin' give me one more day
For it's a great day to be alive
For I'm thankful for my home's in Alabama
And Please God bless the U.S.A

Trying a new song again LOL

THE WARRIOR

I AM A WARRIOR.

I FEAR NOTHING UNDER THE SUN.

NO MAN SHALL HAVE DOMINION OVER ME.

I AM A SELF CONTAINED ELEMENT THAT CONSIST OF ATOMS, MOLECULES
AND ENERGY GIVEN LIFE IN THE PHYSICAL FORM BY THE FATHER.

I WILL NOT BOW DOWN, WORSHIP, NOR GIVE HONOR OR PRAISE TO
ANYTHING OF THIS PLANET, ESPECIALLY GRAVEN IMAGES.

I AM ONE WHO WISHES TO BE GREATER THAN THE GREATEST THAT THE
GREATEST OF ALL THE GREATS CREATED WHEN HE GAVE BREATH TO
MANKIND.

I SHALL NOT BETRAY MY PEOPLE FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, EVEN IN
TIMES OF HARDSHIP, DARKNESS OR WAR.

I WILL STAND STRONG AS I TRY TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THAT BURN
HOLES IN OUR HEART'S. THE QUESTION THAT I WONDERED ALL OF MY LIFE
THAT WERE ANSWERED FOR ME BY A DYING MAN.

I AM TO LIVE FOR THE REST OF MY DAYS SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH.

MY MIND IS CONSTANTLY IN DEEP SPACE NINE, PUSHING BEYOND THE
LIMITATION OF MY PHYSICAL.

I AM NOT TO ENGAGE MYSELF WITH WORTHLESS CONVERSATION.

NOR CAN I AFFORD TO SLIP, SLUMBER NOR FALL BY THE WAISTSIDE.

I AM TO WALK UPRIGHT AND NOT FALL VICTIM TO THE WICKED INDIVIDUALS
THAT ARE SO-CALLED FRIENDS AND LOVE ONES.

I AM TO SEEK KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING THROUGH MY
CULTURE WHICH IS I-SLAM (I- SELF- LOVE- ALL- MATHEMATICS) AND USE MY
DIVINE POWER TO REFINE MYSELF.

I AM TO TREAT EVERYONE THAT I ENCOUNTER WITH RESPECT AND
EQUALITY.

I MUST SHINE MY LIGHT UNTO THE EARTH AND RECOGNIZE THAT I AM FROM
THE TRUE AND LIVING.

A WARRIOR AND DESCENDENT OF THE ORIGINAL MAN.

THE FIRST CIVILIZED PEOPLE TO INHABIT THIS PLANET.

I AM A BORN LEADER.

I AM TO BUILD POSITIVELY AND DESTROY NEGATIVITY/ NIGGATIVITY.

I AM A FREEDOM FIGHTER, WHO'S QUEST IS TO EDUCATE AND FREE MY
PEOPLE FROM MENTAL SLAVERY.

FOR I AM NOW BORN INTO EXISTENCE WHICH MAKES ME A COMPLETE
CIPHER (ONE WHO HAS 360 DEGREES COMPLETION OF SELF).

I HAVE ARRIVED! NOW WITNESS THE BIRTH OF A KING WITHOUT A
CROWN……………………………………..

Rain Puddles

Rain shower ceased and the sun began to bake
Leaving upon the road steamy little puddles and lakes
Two little birds ,scoring their chance
Dived into a puddle to shower and shake
They splashed and splashed again and again
Diving their heads, tails and fluttering wings
Flying off, only to fly back in
In awe I watched and smiled
As I wrote to my son Overseas
My worry transformed ,unleashed
As I wait for him flying in .only to watch him fly back away....

Eagles Fly

We mourn our loss'
From what you have done,
But we have not been defeated
The war has yet to be won.

You can take anything
Buildings, planes, and guns,
But we will be there to fight
We shall see who stays or runs.

You should take some warning
Might want to ask for advice,
Put it in writing to read later
We refuse to tell you twice.

So, put your best men up front
If your up for a challenge once more,
For you'll know the war is won
When the American eagles sore.

Time's End

As time defies thought of betterment and wishes
We struggle, as an uphill battle ensues for cause
Standing face to face with time, it certainly wins
But, the battle won’s no indication of the war itself
As heart remains, as will is strong, as goodness exists
We will remain triumphant in the war on time
For what missions go unfulfilled, we pass the baton
To the next generation of soldiers of right and light

The War

This war has raged for many a year
Mothers & Fathers shed oceans of tears
It’s fought here at home and on foreign soil
I’m not talking about terrorist or oil
Fought from home to home and coast to coast
There are no boundaries when addiction is the host
I remember once a lifetime ago
I advocated this war with my soul
Then I devoted my mind and took a stand
Looked up at my Lord then kissed his hand
Up until that moment the day was dark as hell
For when the Lord saved me it was in my cell
There is a fact that I can’t hide
I became a traitor and traded sides
Now days I travel from jail to jail
Donate my books to the poor souls in hell
Telling them all “Please believe what I say”
“Our Lord can make this all go away”
I am a living example for the world to see
Just look at the changes the Lord made in me
Some kid said, “Boy this one got way to spun”
Homeboy pulled him aside and said, “That’s Jughead son”
Then they ask their questions and I answered my best
Told them “Take what you need and leave the rest”
I hugged my homeboy with eyes full of tears
He just caught an L with 37 years
At our age I reckon he’ll die in the pen
Someday I hope to see him again
Him and I were as close as any two brothers
I stopped by his house to consol his mother
To the mothers and fathers please never lose hope
Our Lords more powerful than all that dope
To the addicts I say, “Just look at me”
Living simple, honest, loving and free
At the end of the road my castle awaits
Provided I earn my way through the gate

Authors note: I would like to dedicate this poem to all of the mothers, Fathers, Brothers and Sisters of addicts
and or convicts in prison. To all the addicts I urge you to consider what your lifestyle is doing to the ones you
love.
A special dedication I wish to make to Mary Duhart. Mary my heart is with you always

Smoke Screen Of The Soul

Hiding the hurt,
Swallowing the lies,
Shielding the pain,
With tear stained eyes,

I won't let this hurt
get to me
Cause all around,
I do see,
The devestation
caused by sorrow,
And with it no other
expectation for tomorrow,

So I'll lay down that smoke,
And dig a deep moat,
Erect a staunch wall
A castle never to fall
Manned with many
a guard tower tall
With dragons of faith
overhead
In defense of our stead...

To a future long and bright,
I toast you tonight,
Should our walls, they to breech,
I can but beseech
For us to die as true men
As the Lord sees us,
to where and when.

War Why War

War why war that is the question I ask you,
glancing from a distance seeing guns and bombs pass through.
I could be in this war but the chance I didn't take it,
because in my mind I had thoughts that I wouldn't even make it.
Thinking of my family, and my beloved girlfriend,
could this be the final war of all Wars? Does the world end?
I'm so deep in this bible and come to find out it's all wrong,
only 1 week has passed so far, but it seems just so long.
War Why War that is the question I ask men,
I just wanted an education, but killing to me is not a passion.

Guts, God, & Glory

A tribute to the women and men who fought and died and never received their
just honors or glories.
And to the mommas and daddies that lost these children, this is their stories.
To say the least war is hellish, ghoulish, and sometimes the last resort to settle
irreconcilable differences.
For it’s during these times the devil is let loose to wander freely, disguised as a
mighty leader is just one way he can alter his many appearances.
War is always given a just and noble cause, but I often wonder sometimes how
much truth is in all of that.
What it really boils down to is that someone is trying to push their ways or ideas
on you and it eventually leads to combat.
So what do you do when you are challenged with these issues.
Pray to God for wisdom, seek strength, and courage, and hand momma the
tissues.
It’s always our children who are the first line of defense against these causes of
war.
Freedom has never come cheap, and that is the only explanation you can give
someone who loses a loved one on some foreign shore.
Could be we might be praising budda while eating that bowl of fish eyes and rice.
Had that son or daughter of ours not paid the ultimate price.
War should never be condoned but used only as a necessary tool.
Only for God and country should it ever be used and never allowed in the hands
of a fool.
So I thank God for my country, and bless the ones that had to fall.
Where would we be if these brave men and women had not answered the call.

To The World

I am words unspoken
A body asleep waiting to be awoken
I am words that cannot be read
Words unspoken and never could be said
I am only a person trying to find my dreams
Waiting to be awoken yet trying to fall asleep

I am an ocean shattered apart
Buried in the middle you can find my heart
I am cancer waiting to put you through pain
How I feel I'm unable to explain
I am your mind waiting to see how this poem ends
A girl who has finally found a friend

I am tears ready to fall like rain
Blood streaming down a vein
I am an operator ready to take your call
A cure found that can finally heal all

I am patience running out of time
A newborn trying to understand a nursery rhyme
I am who I am though I don't know why
Knowing I could die within a blink of an eye

I am many letters to the author
Hoping that atleast a look he would offer
I am an abandoned infant with no where to go
Can anyone see I have many years to grow?
I am the door you swing open without knocking
Baby on the cradle without you rocking

I am a sunny day waiting for a storm to hit
The truth hard for me to admit
I am misery with a smile on my face
Loving these memories wanting not to erase

I am someone who has seen how far I've come
Remembering where I started from
I am anger tearing someone inside
I want to be loved is all I've ever cried

I am speakers blasting as you drive by
Hurting inside looking out for the public eye
I am hunger destroying half the world
In the darkness still a lonely girl

I am passion between you and your love
A gift God has sent from above
I am the crack you step on as you walk
Camera man watching people die in Iraq
I am the president trying to start a war
A war that has never been fought before

I am lyrics to a beautiful love song
A girl that wants to feel like she belongs
I am the sun rising early in the morning
A flood coming without a warning
I am death ready to take a life
A girl still not ready to be a wife

I am lips sealed with too much to say
A bird without a place to stay
I am a person who just wants to live
For who I am could you forgive?

Llama

Nothing rhymes with llama
Nothing rhymes with lava
HEY! Llama and lava rhyme
I guess I knew that the whole time
When I see a llama, I shout
But when I see it not burning in lava, I pout
Ok, so that's not true
But I'm sitting here quietly with nothing to do......
I just realized that I've never seen a llama in the zoo.
I'm really starting to hate llamas now
I really wish they would all burn in lava
Still not true....
Still with nothing better to do...

Where The Lines Drawn Thin

Where does the madness stop? When does the healing begin?
conforming to flesh that was my own resemblance I'm making my amends.
We all lie naked, only in truth can we blanket the scars,
deep is the secrets where chains bind our compromising hearts.
Who's to say we aren't too weak? Where are the strong to set us free?
Who's going to stop us from making us what we have to be?
Plagued are nations screaming a starving cry,
haunted by the feeling's that they'll never see the daylight.
Where dying is freedom from such pain and disease,
Wheres the hope? Wheres the dreams for such as these?
In my own burdens so much of myself I've lost,
for the things I created, the innocence of my mind & soul is cost.
Is it cheap to say that pleasures are keen,
to making it temporarily not afraid to be seen?
It's hard to imagine in youth what we are to for see,
when everywhere we turn it's disasters, feens, & war laid at our feet's.
If we're killing ourselves all along then where's the stopping point?
How do we define our race if we don't know where we are going?
There's got to be a place where the lines aren't drawn thin,
where we find the peace in mankind and the healing process does begin.
As we each in this world step foot toward what one day may be the end,
we shall learn the lessons of our creations, those of war within our sins.

My Brother The Marine

Only nineteen so proud and brave
such choices he had made

Either spending each passing day in jail
Or enlisting and say goodbye and fairwell

The latter choice he did made
signed up and turned in his clothes of fade

Standing tall tried and true
Inside he had matured and grew

Metals pinned upon his chest
A Marine looking at his very best

Battling a war on foreign soil
And to think it was over a barrel of oil

Nam Napples S Korea to say a few
Recon missions for civilians he did not knew

Getting shot at by rapid sniper fire
In a friendly zone where people retire

Writting letters and sending pictures from afar
Of tanks planes and bombs blowing up cars

Placed on an island alone for seven days
snakes bugs fish the land he had to alone graze

They said he was a child no more
But a Marine to come and explore

Today he is fifty one and a grandfather of two
And the Marines now wants him back because he was few

Mind altered and steady strong
Im glad to have my brother back where he belongs

But I will never forget that day he left
When his life was nothing but a big turmoil mess

Thanks to the Marine who I had watched and grew
My Brother wearing his colors of Red White and Blue

Tribute To

The cold icly mood of America at War the weather didn't reflect the same
Who do we blame for the War and gas prices the oilose over seas
The strange feeling in the air and warm that meant we didn't need to
heat our houses. To beat the oil prices and climate nice for all.
The non believe would fight to say no not God but we that believe
thank him for the Christmas gifts. Some would say no but we know.

Recognize

Will you Recognize the evil when it smiles and shakes your hand?
As It tells you lies that open you eyes and poison your foods with Chemical tools.
Better health long life is the Promise you cannot top this!
There is no promise more false in this land more readly believed then the
Gospel.
Yet given a close insepection the cancer of this reflection is evident in the the way
you die today.
So i say to you as we go to war, Who among you,WHo among you has looked
deeply at the man in charge?
Is his faith real or is it a shadow of a former lie?
A lie told to a differant nation under the same disguise of Liberty Justice and the
Nazi Dream.
This war is not the first and although many feel it will be the last.
The whole world destroyied in one hot flash.
Man as a race has been here before thousand of years ago we knocked on this
door.
So long ago that the memorey is all but gone.
I've been told im like a man who had a dream,I'm not what i seem.
1947 is the year to recall weve won the war were the words printed Tall! The war
is over and what did we get?
Scientist compleete with there gifts! Gifts of war and hate to recruit to our side.
Them and there families taken in with Pride!
Look for them now you know who they are running the show and not from afar.
So ill ask you one more time.
Will you Recognize real evil when it smiles and shakes your hand?
I do and its ruling our land!

War

You know America ( Our Country ) was founded on Christian Beliefs.
When we stood up for God, He led us through hard times, despair, and our
times of grief.
I’ve seen our Ten Commandments removed from public places, and prayer
banished from our schools.
Satan is trying to take over, trying to force us to play by his set of rules.
Christians are being pushed and pushed hard, they are putting our backs to the
wall.
America is Gods’ country, and if we don’t make a stand we’re going to see her
fall.
Christians are going to have to stop quarreling amongst each other.
Show the world we are united in Christ as sisters and brothers.
Let God lead us on the righteous path of the straight and narrow.
While we strap on our armor, sharpen our sword, and make ready our arrows.
The war was brought home to us when the twin towers fell.
Do you remember that day, I remember it well?
Called a “ Jihad “ a holy war, The infidels must die was their battle cry.
We just hung our heads and asked the question why.
We are a God fearing nation, well we used to be.
If we would just open our eyes and look we’d have to see.
Brother I tell you there is going to be a fight, shucks that ain’t nothing new.
Just pray God stands with us, and the old red, white, and blue.

Vengeance

Quietly, at night, he descends in the cavern
Keeping his hand, tightly upon his sword
Squinting to see what may lie before him
Keeping careful to not utter a word.
He is on a quest, a personal vendetta,
This dragon had taken his brother’s life
Left at home, were his children, young and hopeful
And the remains of his once, adoring wife.
The dragon will pay for the evil he masters
Demon, within the cave, will truly be slayed
The man, with the sword and a heart full of hatred
Will one day be thankful for this vow that he made
Now, as he approaches, a light in the distance
A fire of Hell, it seems, straight from the ground
Careful to not arouse, the demon who slumbers
Careful to sneak close, without making a sound.
A rock, oh, the foot, had kicked down the cavern
Awakening evil, in its eyes, fury and rage
The two, face to face, respect, but with hatred
Sword now is drawn and a war now is raged.
With quickness, he ran, stalagmite, a cover
Ducked for a moment, to gather his thoughts
Yes, if he runs, with shield as a cover
The sword, he could use to plunge in its throat.
So, off went the man, but really a boy,
Sixteen, with so much life yet to live
Off to make claim to a victory he needed
To slay the dragon, he would never forgive.
The battle ensued, man and dragon,
A moment of fury. He prayed to the Lord.
Being smaller and faster, he got up on under
And into the neck, he thrust in his sword.
Diminishing fire, the dragon lay wasted,
Dying and trying to take its last breath.
Standing, though tired, the man watches on
As life is now fading, its life now bereft.

American Me

I am an American,I'm proud to be free.
I am an American,I'm the future 'to-be'.
I love my country, this land where I was born.
I love my country,it's flag,tattered and worn.
I pledge my allegiance every morning at school.
I pledge my allegiance because AMERICA RULES!
I can make a differerence with a 'star-spangled' quote.
I can make a difference by casting MY vote.
I will serve my country, should it ever call on me,
I will serve my country by being the BEST AMERICAN CITIZEN that I can be!

For All Who Have Fallen

Thank you for your honor
Thank you for your grace
Thank you for your dignity
Thank you for your brace

Thank you for our freedom
Thank you for our choice
Thank you for our liberty
Thank you for our voice

Thank you for your courage
Thank you for your might
Thank you for giving your life
Fighting for a cause you saw to be right

For all who have fallen; this I say to you
Thank you for my freedom; I owe it entirely to you

Soldiers In A War

We are slodiers in a war,
in a war of deep devotion.

We' ve no ammo whereof to boast,
for Christ our Saviour is in command.

We are fighting for the Truth,
our sword The Word of GOD.

No other army do we need, to win this war within,
no number can be placed upon a soldiers head.

In ONE this war is fought
and in ONE this war is won!

Unneccesary War

Gunshots fired from side to side,
Helpless people trying to hide,
Raiding soldiers destroying ones home.
Killing a child’s family leaving him all alone,

Sitting their crying for what he just saw;
Saying a prayer to his merciful Allah;
Wishing the war will be over and done;
Not knowing the war has just begun;

Hiding under the table to wait for his savior;
His hearts hurting from witnessing this behavior;
He lays down to sleep never to awake;
So stop fighting for the peoples sake;

Peace among countries is what people need;
Stop all the fighting and we will succeed;
Also bring our troops home out of Iraq;
Leave Iraq alone and let them rise back;

So I say lets have peace among others;
For what we really are... are sisters and brothers.

You don't have to be free

to live in a democracy

Just ask the president of our US of A

got a new reason for the war everyday

rich or poor we're all the same

The war on terror and the war on drugs

just trying to blame something for what Hypocricy does

thought control

                gun control

if no one's buying

      that means they got sold

watch out you don't lose your soul

oils more important then life, it's like gold

weapons of destruction

    i have yet to see

we gotta kill millions so few can be free

          my name's America

get in line to be like me

I know better because i'm the best

and my bombs bigger than yours

in the nuclear weapons test

if the media says it... it must be true

Destroy! Attack!

    America, there's your cue.

Some life's more important than others

THAT'S why we fight for peace as we Kill one another

where's there left to place some blame?

Can we help that we teach hate

 in our secular faiths

So everyday of this war

     Remember what we're fighting for....

What's that? You can't be too sure..

Think we'll EVER find a cure

for the disease of human nature?

WAR

As war is fought it takes charge,
And events spin out of control.
The madness of men can alter the soil
Which nourishes the roots of their soul.

Many things will forever change,
Far more then wished to be.
As the wrath of war starts to destroy,
Those things we fight to keep free.

War is the greatest plague of man,
Religion, state, and sanity.
Any scourge is more preferred,
Than the one which disables humanity.

When war breaks out, boundaries change
And all who die are a token,
Of the rage that must run it's course,
Before words of peace are spoken.

the beautiful die

Dont cry, only fly ,lift you wings to the sky.
go over there where I say, you can die another day.
But if this day you are shot,I will put honer in your rot.
A hero to be , cant you see, the beauty of your destiny.
In my war theres no sorrow, only hope you live tommorow.
In your gut you can feel, something lacks the appeal.
Kiil your brother, kill your friend, dont you know theres no end.
blood will fly, blood will fall, dont you heed the evil call.
Maybe tommorow this war is done, only know you havnt won.
love yourself and your neighbor, this war has no flavor.
you do this cant you see, war has no destiny.
fight the evil in your books, let lose all your hooks.
feel the hatred in the sky, know you will not die.
escape forever be,now you are set free.
blessed and honerd is this day,go home and bless your way.
