The King Of Pop

from his abc's
to that freaky billy jean

came a pop star
for all to love and see

from the apollo's stage
wondered if you were ready for screaming rage

for you never had a childhood of bliss
only done what was on joseph's list

a studded white glove
and white socks just because

a star on the hollywood walk of fame
for you sang and danced showing no shame

scandals of twisted truth
did not detour you from your missing youth

neverland was your own safari escape
who would figure your best friend would be a chimp of faith

michael may god cradle you in his arms
and basked in your king of pops worldly charm

will forever miss that porcelain smile
and always think of you on my radio dial

for now your at your heavens trial
may god forgive this lost and lonely child

Dipsey Doo

Dipsey Doo who loved to just chew and chew
Whether socks rocks sticks or shoes

If you got close to Mom
She would nip at you too

Springer Spanial and twenty two
Blind as a bat and with a special hair doo

The loved she shared just grew and grew
Slept by our heads laps hips and legs she knew

Nipped at the Mailman's Milkman's and prowlers shoes
Without them having any kind of clue

But poor Dipsey Doo
Had to be put down cause of a viral flu

Mom Dad and us kids really felt blue
Because there was really nothing anyone could do

Buried next to her rocks sticks socks and shoes
Are lonely teardrops from the loss over you

I was just trying to remember the past
trying to remember the good people
 and the bad people,
that i came across on my way,

i want you to know
that you are among the good people
that left a good trace in my life,

once again i just want to say thank you
for passing through my life,
is so short but is wonderful
i want you here forever.

My dreams and desires
Are to write to inspire
I have so much to give
That is my reason to live
Peace always invades my spirit
I’m so glad my soul welcomes it
My compass to my life is lost
I cannot navigate the way home so pen pays the cost
I will always write to find my way
To my God I pray
As the realization dawned on me
When my pen flows I’m free
I can be anybody I want to be
So many of us have to settle for a life of deception
I shall soar beyond this world's limitations
In all things, follow your heart
In life be careful how you walk and talk
Think it, believe it
Don’t hold back do it
Let your dream grow
Please let God take control

Remembering Belle

She was a devoted ole gal always at her best
so many days I cried hanging off her chest
down to the lake in the hot summertime
we would cool her off and swing on a vine

Every morning at five am here came Belle, now my friend
and again at six pm there Belle was ready to work again
years passed and Belle became a part of our family
we worked, we played, and we milked twice a day

Half my life she was one of my dear friends
I greeted her in summer with warm sun burnt skin
and in winter I spent my time warming them
when Belle died I can't say things were ever the same again

Belle had become more than a cow in a pen, who gave us milk
she became a babysitter, a circus act, part of the swim team, for the neighborhood
but most of all Belle had become a lonely teen's dear friend

February Funny Bone

Once came along a groundhog named Phil
Looked for shadow in winters chill
                                         Even top hat and coat
                                         Didn't stop whining's gloat
Stuck six more weeks paying heating bill

The Gift of Sound

The Gift of Sound.

In our little house stands an upright piano
Tuned by a blind man blessed by the gift of sound.

My son sat one day playing a masterpiece
Wrote long ago by a man who couldn’t hear.

Listening to the music it took my mind away to
Afar magical places no luggage and no cases.
My mind kept jumping between different scenes
Fields of colored flowers the loveliest it can be.

Shadows of far mountains colors in different hues
A pied piper sat under a tree playing his favorite tune.

Sheep gathered together chased by a cleverly dog
Taught by nature no cane and no flog.

Oh… the gift of sound.

Zoo - Just to Amuse You

One fine day, I planned a visit to zoo
Alone landed amidst the fauna left so few
Treaded merrily on greenery, singing my heart out
Whilst a lion’s scary roar made me shout

‘Ah! Another visitor’, said the lion annoyingly
‘Why should we entertain you?’ said he fumingly
‘What’s the point in wasting your energy and mine?
Making us do the funny acts, do they seem so divine?’

Hearing those words I dared
Reduced the distance, still scared
Said I, ‘Stop fuming King of Jungle, watch out for your age,
Hadn’t I come to visit you, wouldn’t you be bored in your cage?’

‘The answer dwells in your question, silly girl
You humans have no heart of pearls,
The so-called king of jungle imprisoned in cage
Heartthrob of millions I was, at my early age’

‘To meet my family, hope it doesn’t get too late
I need to eagerly meet ‘em all, my cubs, my mate
I still feel them, they are waiting for me
Oh girl! Be kind enough to set me free.’

I couldn’t have done that with all my might
Turned my way, delighted by a peacock’s sight
The multihued beauty was sheltered in a metallic cage
Awe! Gloomy this beauty looked, in distress and rage

‘What is wrong? Do you want to fly?’
It turned around and looked straight at the sky
‘Show me those vibrant feathers, the fan-like crest
Guests would adore seeing you dance at your best’

‘I dance just for my love, my love for rain,
Cool breeze no more likes crossing my lane
Why do I open my feathers without my mate’s presence?
Just to amuse you, I shall do; confined in this fence’

Dumbstruck, I decided to turn my way
Walked ahead in quest of animals happy and gay
There it was! A crazy monkey, flirting and making its choice
Mimicking others and playing around, hear its evil noise

Bouncing, bouncing and dancing, dancing
It ruled as if dungeon’s dominant king
Wow! You look so happy; what’s the reason?
‘Girl! No more fun for you, ‘coz free I’ll be from this prison’.

Two giant men came forward and opened the door
Good Lord! It’ll be free, unkind humans is just animal’s lore!
Monkey screeched, ‘Meet me soon in the nearby forest
Where I meet my pals, play, eat, have fun and rest’

Happy to see the monkey’s joy, I walked ahead
Across the bushes, saw a van, a huge van in red
Giant men carried animals and dumped in the van
Shocked I was to see the sight and reckoned their plan

Why was my monkey friend inside, for what purpose?
It was clear as I read the van’s name, ‘The Great Royal Circus!’

Walking the Dog

Its south Florida but it could fool you
The sun is ascendant, bright, but its expected
Warmth didn't penetrate the cold blowing bracing wind.
I know, can’t get any sympathy living the winter luxury
Here in south Florida.
My walking companion this morning
Is a jolly lady octogenarian with her companion dog.
Wide open smiling pillsbury pudding face with
Somewhat lumpy dough ensconced with two
Wrinkly jovial dried cherry eyes
Topped by angel hair pasta folded in front
By a carefully marcelled blue wave.
We exchanged pleasantries; she walked
Smartly along in the stimulating cold morning.
But her dog; having four legs you might think
They’d move faster then hers, not the case!
He barely got one paw on the ground ahead of the others.
I was really afraid he was falling behind.
That dog was old, he was a candidate for
A doggy eye job what with his droopy lids.
His face seemed to sag slightly ,
He barely acknowledged me. Most dogs
Curiosity overwhelms their good manners
Because they are compelled to sniff you out
But not him. He just couldn’t be bothered,
His age I guess. I saw them both walking
Yesterday and today, maybe I’ll ask her
How old he is. Maybe not, probably not polite.
What do you think?

Inevitable Bear

Oh lonely Inevitable Bear,
Padding claws, death in white
Sorrow in recurring nightmare
Instinct’s test; fight or flight?

Camouflage against the fence,
A challenge; my subconscious fear
Ominous slowly moving silence,
“Let me in, there’s a bear out here!”

poor little thing had some flaws

                         didn't stop this little guy
thought to self this wasn't fair
bowed head and started to cry

nectar is what he had sought

Fur Ball

< my little girl came to me and asked for a pet
to me my heart just hasn't been quite set

but who could resist those baby brown eyes
and all those little wimpers and desirable sighs

so off we went in our broken down wagon
where the rear end you could tell was sagging

to petland is where we went
                 pocketbook really took a dent

odie and garfield was their chosen names
two bunny hampsters very different but the same

oh my little girl was not yet done
said mama we need hampster ball so they can have alot of fun

and don't forget their bedding liners
so their living will be much finer

but first you must buy them their cage
oh my little girl is quite smart for her age

she knows they like fruit and snacks
so she doubled order with ten sacks

ring ring ring ding ding ding
did it's cash register ever so did sing

                   eighty five fifty
                   well ain't that nifty

                   handed lady one hundred
                   mumbling under breath was said

                   left store in a hurry
with our clothes looking so dam fury

Let Love Fly

Let love fly
With ethereal compassion, a soft glow in her eyes,
she picks up the baby eagle, tries to convey words
of eloquent reassurance, sincerely she tries.

Look, June is here this morning; and sun is shining hot;
last night’s storm belongs to last night; it has left an eagle;
a homeless, hurt, upset baby; it feels forlorn, lost, caught.

She takes it home; makes enclosures; feeds it with love, care.
It still feels solo, alone within, fed by love, fed up.
The enclosure of good concern grows smaller with time’s each turn.
The bird’s soul belongs to the sky; in its eyes silent prayer
flares up as it cries; shrill piercing call to its own kind.

Let it fly.

EYE Don't See -Part 3-

My eyes
Witness your departure
My eyes
Are dripping with hopelessness…
My eyes start to blur…
Melancholy put me under pressure…
Is there a cure to my disease?

You don’t see
The shards of hope that once brought us back together
Just let me search for safety
I’m strong enough to realize that I’m no longer
The weakest prey out there…

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you hear me whimpering like a distraught puppy left on the train tracks?

I’m close to my demise…save me and take me home

Nourish me…and be my beloved friend

Will this friendship last forever?

Hopefully it has no end

Will this cheerful moment help us get along with each other?

Because of you…I feel the need to run
I keep an eye on you – I worry that you’ll hurt yourself again
Because of you…My freedom is nearly gone
I don’t wanna be caught off guard again
Because of you…EYE can’t picture a solution for our vexing dilemma
Because of you…eye can’t focus on my long-term goal

And I’m left in my solitude…
Do you sense that I’m giving in to failure?
And I’m close to my demise…
Only to find myself disappear…I can’t endure
The hardships that you place upon me…
Could you boost up my confidence to overcome
My atrocious anxiety?

I’m just waiting for some sun
To keep me in good hands…
To strengthen me with perseverance …
I’m just waiting until His son
Leads the world outtah Egypt and reveals to us…
His radiance…His dazzling Kingdom –
Vibrant with glee

Your undying sympathy dawns upon us
I’m overflowing with indescribable joy
You’re a candle in the night…
We meet eye to eye…
What a sight…what a precious sight

Awaken me, Lord.
Open my ears that I may hear the voices,
Of those wo cry out for help.
Let me not be deaf to their pleas,
Lest they perish, because I would not hear.

Awaken me, Lord,
That I might make a difference.
Open my eyes that I may see those who suffer.
Let me not be blind to their needs,
Lest they perish because I would not see.

Awaken me, Lord.
Clear my mind that I may undersrtand the plight,
Of those who cannot help themselves.
Let me not be ignorant in my comfort,
Lest they perish because I was thoughtless.

Awaken me, Lord.
Open my heart that I may truly feel,
For all who suffer and have need.
Let me not be cold and unfeeling,
Lest they perish because I would not care.

Awaken me, Lord.
Loose my hands that I may reach out,
To those for whom You have suffered and died.
Let me not be lazy, or fearful of what others might think,
Lest they perish because I would not reach out.

Once when I was out walking I heard a dog screaming in agony begging to be let inside out of the cold. I just laughed to myself saying to myself that the dog was acting like she was dying out there. I paid her no mind sense the dog wasn't mine.
Later when I passed by again all was quiet. I figured the owner had let her in.
The owner wasn't home.
They went to school and to work forgetting the dog was still outside.
Just because it's an animal that doesn't mean they don't matter or "don't feel pain like we do". Pain is pain and it HURTS. They feel it like we do they just can't tell us because they can't speak our language but they speak in every other way if we will just listen.
That dog died in agony because I didn't listen and her owners FORGOT ABOUT HER.

Leader of The Pack

Wake up sleepy head is all that’s left to say. Get up I say!
But of course it didn’t help… This was sleeping at it’s best!
The bus was due for school soon, and still in bed he slept.
So out came my hidden weapons, that are better than water splashed.
I crept quietly up beside him… and here is what I said…

If you don’t get up I’ll release our monstrous, fearless, great cat.
He’ll jump and walk all over you… before sitting on your head.
Then I’ll bring in our loud 66 lb lab to lick you everywhere to death.
Then I’ll bring in our 86lb lab that’ll jump up to join you there, instead.
Don’t be surprised if he stretches out taking up most of the bed.
He’s really good at pushing with those really good, strong legs so…
It won’t be long before there’s nowhere left but on the floor to sleep.
And now let me introduce our 55lb forceful, herding cattle dog.
If he can’t get you up and going… believe me it can’t be done...
He’ll nip at you gracefully while never leaving a single bite.
He’s hungry and wants breakfast leftovers before it turns twilight.
And me I’ve reset the alarm. There’s no more music left to play.
Every five minutes the buzzer will be there just for you, I say.

Now I’m going away and you’ll notice the smells of bacon, toast, and eggs.
And if the dogs are in the kitchen first… it’s cold cereal for you this day.
And once they get a taste for leaving you far behind…
You will have forfeited your place at the table I know they’ll think you kind.
And when the animals are gone from your bed…
Who will protect you while you sleep?
Remember there’s an 8000 lb dinosaur living in the living room, that I keep…
And I know for a fact that he’ll come in and drool all over you…
He’s the problem we all run from…we walk around him every day.
And I named him Mr. Report Card… for all the damage he can play.
Without him there’ll be no Xbox, Play Station, or fancy fishing trips.
So get up my sleepy young man… The world is waiting for you today.

These are my secret weapons and they work every time…
We haven’t missed the bus you see… in a very, very long time.

What Did The Three Legged Dog Say To The Two Legged Cat

What Did The 3 Legged Dog Say To The 2 Legged Cat?

What an amazing thing to see by any eye. Two creatures on there way home, spoke as
if they were from a war zone.

All though both were missing parts, they had tremendous heart. Cat, what do they call
you? My friends call me 2 Blue.

Dog, what do they call you? My friends call me 3 paws. It’s a pleasure to meet you.
Same here 2Blue.

Are you curious? Everybody I meet seems to be. Not really 2 Blue. What rights have I,
to say whose whole? Looks to me like you have plenty of soul.

Thank you 3 Paws; I would imagine you are quite a dog, with lots of heart and plenty of

So, 2 Blue, what’s up? Seen any action lately? Not since the alley fight in 2002, when my
back was against the wall, and I took a heavy fall.

What about you 3 Paw? What’s your story? Well, it’s a lone one, but I like to keep it
short. I was in the dark in 2007, sniffing like I normally do, when guess who? Right! The
Rockwilder Brothers jumped me.

While running, I slipped on some ice, and they weren’t nice with there bites

I agree, we all learned our lessons in life. Something’s are good, and some aren’t so

3 Paw, see you around. 2 Blue, I’ll be in town.

Best Buds Forever

I still remember that day when you were a kitten,
You were so small and fit in my hand like a mitten.
I knew when I held you I would raise you,
The love I felt was more than true.
I was with you at my grandma's till I could take you home,
Then the journey of raising you began...

We brought you home and I showed you our house,
I still remember when you saw your first mouse.
You jumped out of my arms and made your attack,
I stood there and watched you get your afternoon snack.
Then we were deciding on names for you,
I just felt something with dexter and knew it was true.
I was only 8 and didn't know any better,
I did some things that I still regret.

I tormented you so bad,
Looking back it makes me sad.
But I grew up and knew how to take care of you,
Even though what I did when I was younger made me feel blue.
You grew up so fast,
I never thought me and you as buds would last.
But it did I'm so proud for that,
Because in the end your my cat.

Then came the day we would move into a bigger house,
But you never again got a hold of a mouse.
You were so scared but I took you under my wing.
I showed you around the house and you were so happy.
I redeemed myself from everything I had done.

Things got better between us as the days flew by,
The love strong that were flying so high together in the sky.
You greet me when I walk through the door,
I feel so touched that I fall to the floor.
I cherish every second that your on my bed or just saying hi in my room,
The smile that's on my face brings a tear that would make flowers bloom.

Now your all grown up and still getting older,
The temperature in my heart has gotten colder.
So cold because I know your time is soon up,
I'm struggling to figure out how full is my cup.
I only wish you could live longer and we still be together,
But we will always be best buds forever.

Requiem For Taz

Six months ago, you followed me home,
A tiny, black, and blue-eyed gnome
It was late in September,
I so clearly remember

You moved right on in,
Made friends with your furry kin –
Always alert, in some kind of hurry
Just the sight of you would erase any worry

That shadowed my mind –
Your bright spirit would blind
Me to everything but joy,
My delightful dear boy!

Those short six months you shared
With me and cared for me
I am so deeply grateful for
And now you’ve passed through Heaven’s door

I thank you so much and cherish
Our time – your gift of joy can never perish
I’m so grateful you chose to be
My friend – you’re forever close to me

I sadly, deeply mourn your passing,
Yet know your life’s a blessing
And I’ll never, ever regret,
Nor can I ever forget

The shining joy you always brought
You’ll live forever in my thought,
So I say, Taz, let’s celebrate
Our love, it’ll never abate

We’ll meet again,
This isn’t the end –
Save a spot in Heaven
I know we’ll meet again

Yes, save a spot for me, my friend,
My grief will be soon unleavened

So save a spot for me, my friend,
We’ll meet again in Heaven

My Golden Prince

Perched upon a bed of sand
The oceans fury rushes in
Flippant sea foam at my feet
A misty breeze embraces my skin

Tonight I dream of unknown love
And cast my wishes one by one
Carried out by rolling waves
Then captured by the setting sun

While gazing at the fading stars
I whisper a nightly prayer
Please bring me a loving companion
With whom my life i’ll share

I am searching for an honest heart
Possessed by a gentle soul
Kind, loyal and sincere
Someone to make me whole

He should be both strong and brave
Yet able to express emotion
He’ll love me through all my faults
And give me total devotion

I hope that I’ve not asked too much
And that you’ll consider my request
And with that said, I close my eyes
For some much needed rest

Feeling the warmth of the breaking sun
I awoke with a pleasant surprise
Looking down upon me
Were a pair of emerald eyes

He was all I ever hoped for
And so I called him Prince
On that day two souls united
He’s been with me ever since

So when it comes to granted wishes
I tell you, I am a true believer
Cause when I asked for a loving companion
God sent me a golden retriever

My Old Lovable New Friend

A funny thing happened to me just the other day.
The friendliest cat came to my door wanting to play.
He was meowing like crazy, peering in through the screen,
As if calling to someone it’d been a while since he'd seen.

I said, “Well, hello little kitty. What is it you want?
I’ve never seen you before. Are you just out for a jaunt?”
He was an orange and white Tabby with a depth in his eyes.
Of all the cats I’ve known, he was the most lovable guy.

As I petted him gently, he met my every touch.
He loved all the attention and just couldn’t get enough.
I gave him some ham scraps and some water to drink.
He gobbled it all up; then was gone in a blink.

A few days went by when one night I couldn’t sleep.
I stepped outside beneath the lamppost on our street.
I looked up at the stars as I so often do,
And talked to God and loved ones who are up there, too.

I thought I’d sure like to see that cute, friendly cat.
And right at that moment, he appeared! Just like that!
He came out from underneath the cars in our drive,
And walked right to me. I couldn’t believe my eyes!

We were both so overjoyed as if long lost friends
Who were finally able to embrace once again.
He squirmed with such delight at my every stroke.
In his eyes, I saw my friend Teddy—that’s no joke.

You see, Teddy was my life-long friend who sadly died.
I miss him every day and often look for “a sign.”
I asked the cat, “Are you Teddy?” Our eyes locked in a gaze.
Just then, as if answering, he raised one paw to my face.

He reached up with his paw and gently touched my chin.
It gave me goosebumps because I just knew it was him!
In awe, it took me a few moments to take this all in.
Then, I said goodbye to my friend, "Hope to see you again."

The next morning in the yard he played wild and carefree.
He was running and jumping and climbing a tree.
That’s the last time I saw him—don't know where he could be,
Or whom he belongs to, but I sure wish it was me!

I wonder, was it Teddy visiting me as a cat?
Maybe, just maybe? I’d like to think it was fact.
I’d sure love to see "my old lovable new friend,"
But, seems he’s vanished—I haven't seen him since then.

If my friend ever does pay me a visit again,
I think I might keep him, if it is all right with him.

Mathematics of life

Iam just zero,
not a zest hero.
The one,
uplifts this none.
Made me a valued limitless ton,
and as a rising sun.
