The Rarest of Things

I gaze at the wind as it blows acorss the grown wheat.
My neck bends down and I stare at the grass beneath my feet.
The thoughts I have go far in the past.
In the time before when there was no grass.
Dreams of how the land was in the time before.
I can imagine how this once was on the ocean floor.

How dark and so cold it must have been.
And all the creatures that lived so deep within.
So many living down in this dark place.
Each life to live in the ocean's fast pace.
Flowing through the currents as a leaf on the wind.
The ocean floor covered with clams that never end.

Seperate individuals that we all are today.
Much similar to the clams that lived here that day.
We all have special minds that we can share.
Not one is alike so special and rare.
Once in a lifetime there's one person we meet.
We can share all with them and it makes us complete.

Once in our lifetime theres a single event.
Like clam that catches a dirt fragment.
We hold on to that feeling with all that we are.
Always lighting our way like a nothern star.
Like the clam that holds one little piece of dirt.
We hold on to the one that gives us comfort.
After some years this clam has a pearl.
As rare as the feelings of love for this man or this girl.

Hear The Word Of The Lord

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth,
It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish
what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which
I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 NKJV

HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD

While searching for shells and sand dollars
Along the ocean shore
I chanced to find a tiny church
With a broken, hanging door

All the windows were long since gone
I found not a single pane
But I stepped inside to offer a prayer
As day began to wane

I prayed, Father God, where are they
Who used to pass this way
Are they worshiping You elsewhere
Or been called home with You to stay

What of those who came here
But never were sincere
In why they chose to come at all
Since their ears seemed not to hear

For those who chose to follow Christ
Baptized in His Holy Name
I thank You for their salvation
Because their lives were never the same

Now, Lord, I must wonder
Why they closed the door
Of this tiny broken down church
Along the ocean shore

Drop the ocean and lift the sky

Drop the ocean, lift the sky, Today seems like a goodbye, Memories of your voice forever linger. Drink the potion, get me high, Tears start to multiply , You wouldn't even try to lift a finger. Cast the demons, out of here, Lift me up, I have no fear, Show you what it means to say I love you. Wake me up, grab a beer, Fill my cup, and shed a tear , My love for you has always been this true. Drain the ocean , engulf the land, Time to focus , begin again, Learn to live without you by my side. Convey the notions, my own brand, Revolve my life, and take a stand, Without you , I know, I will be alright. Ring the bell, Sound the horn, Today i have been reborn, I can do this all on my own. Rise the fell, Mend the torn, Persevere through all the scorn, My , look at how much you have grown. Drop the ocean , lift the sky, Today seems like a goodbye, Memories of your voice forever linger.

Moon Dance

The waves slide over the shore
Leaving tiny, squiggly trails
The moon and sun battle for the sky
And the big, bright moon prevails.
The beach is shrouded in darkness
Dimmly lit by only one light
That dances through the undertow
Marching its way through the plight.
A stencil of gray laces the sky
Creating a vision of death
Slowly overcoming the shore
'Til it takes its last breath.
The ocean itself which had once held
So much life in its depths
Has become drowned in its own contents
It is meeting its own death.
A storm lashes its way
Solmnly across the sky
To make room for what will unleash
That will cause the very moon to cry.
Dancing and waltzing across the shore,
The moon sadly turns away
She can't bear to see her ocean like this
And witness it going astray.
With one, final, swift motion,
She casts her love out to sea
The love she held deeply for her ocean
The world, and all her countries.
She makes her way back to where she belongs
And lets the sun take over the sky
I didn't, in all my years,
Think I would ever see the moon cry.
But she shed those tears so bravely
And dried them so nonchalant
She turned and made her way back to the sky
Like it was something she could never want.
The moon had lost the battle
And, defeated, began to fade away
Then the sun began to dance, too
To celebrate a brand-new day.

Lewis And Clark

They were Meriwether Lewis and William Clark,
Her name was Sacagawea.
On an expedition they did embark
Finding the passage to the sea.

Down the Missouri they traveled,
Then slithered 'round the Snake River bend.
Rocky Mountain weather and sickness battled;
At the Columbia River they'd end.

The Stork I

The ship arrived surrounded by fog's dew,
his years she carried on her seaward tracks,
the wide upfront, horizon's line was dark,
- a stork he was, comradely to her crew.

(Thus, curious, he stood upon the moors,
projecting epitome of their rejoice,
and stern, the sea-waves' hum, repressed their voice,
enduring memory the dusk allures.)

A trenchant stork, with harbors in cahoot,
side-gazing for the sunken to discern,
Perceived the sea-men deftness and concern,
applied the color of night's darkened soot.

The dusk abraded then, the ship's details,
still numbness; maybe was the ship that stared,
as his persistent - curious eyes paired
with mind's perseverance, head-rope and brails.

Around the ship quizzical boats tripped,
like wooden cradles-coffins, they were stray,
companions lost beyond skylines' array,
sea's signalizing roar, on moorings whipped.

( Their sacrosanct ascent designed the stairs,
for spotless angels to walk amidst light blue,
like then the stork recited what was true,
- a dark night ship, for his bird's story cares.

And then they fled to skies - two comets' glows
that cut through distances, in ardent Spring
a song for wanderers, harmonic link,
- the emerald of Aegean shallows. )

What foolishness of storks, invites the ship,
stray souls to marry in night's ebon phase,
two finger-funnels tall, on skies to praise,
wraiths' upstage flight, on everlasting trip?

DISTURBED CREATURE- Am I

A poem wrote by me, based on Person who is a deserving icon but still struggling hard with his career life and addressed as disturbed creature.

DISTURBED CREATURE--> Am I ??       BY Mrs.Madhavi Suyog Pagare

Am I so insane, Am I so mad,
Dramatic mood of mine is so die hard.
Destroyed my peace, Shattering my dreams,
People call me as disturbed creature.
As like mounting the pain, attenuating the drain!!

Digesting my feelings lying inside me,
Strangely nobody cared, call me sick.
Teasing me lavishly and my heart is pricked,
Hurted me like hell when addressed me as stupid.
As like showering rain, missing on the lane!!

Time lapse in journey of life,
Can hamper anybody on its path.
When I see innate reflex of mine,
I always use to brightly shine.
Though possessing every job attributes of mine,
I never thought the authorities will ditch and hamper my career line.
Falsely acting bloody swine, making my image as fade as wine.
As like affecting harmonious divine, my soul was, as is transparently pristine!!

Destroying me and testing my patience, Never wanna give up.
Transformed deviations, wanna rightly screw up.
I wanna raise up, I wanna shake up.
I wanna wake up, Tranquilize my mind.
Unzip the professional life compressed by the culprits.
Wanna explore myself, driving the motivated heights of journey.
Lastly waiting for the optimistic opportunity.
Cuffing the suspect ,I wanna rejoice by my pattern of life!!

Sea And Space

I see outer space
As the place
To retrace the roots
Of the human race.

I see under the sea
Is where our bodily
Cells first came to be.

Man's heart is in the stars,
Holding onto the dream to reach Mars.
Man's history,
Written in the stars as destiny.

I am but a child,
Born onto this planet turned wild.
I am but a soul
Sent here to alleviate the toll.

I see a sea of stars,
A healing ocean for our scars.
I see an empty crater
As void as our love for our Creator.

Man's fate has
Always been to create.
Man's destiny is to face
The sailing of the vastness of sea and space.

Celebration

The sea birds sat upon the wharf,
my only friends have been the shades
and the transmittance of our days,
floats on the nightly waving surf.

How beautiful the words gather
to build my solitude - her form,
rose petals dancing in the storm,
- was I her soul's ideal lover?

And when the bells of Sundays ring
unfair's my thought while flowers bloom,
where time's apostasy's my doom,
my words' approach in airs shall cling.

How Oxford blue, the harbor is,
up where the stars behind clouds hide,
fair constellation - unknown bride,
Athena's blest and soul's aegis?

Sea birds have sat upon the moors;
the waves explode to windward foam,
my eyes upon the landscape roam,
erewhile withdraw to verse detours.

Along the aural sceptre of morn,
(Soft and inspiring silence is!) ,
you send across the waters bliss,
heart beats like cymbals of times' mourn.

Maybe if I prayed to the sea gods,
they would revive our school years play,
return that celebration day,
up where my lines bedizened flawed.

Maybe if I smiled to wharf's sorrow,
you would return and join in mists,
amid blithe rhymes and palms kissed,
our celebration tomorrow.

Glisten in the Moonlight

Your glorious emerald eyes
Glisten in the moonlight
Glisten in the moonlight
Delight dances in the water
I watch it joyfully
You are set free from the cage...
You're like a dove soaring in the sky
You are the rain...
drizzling down in ecstasy
A hint of ecstasy is shown in your reflection...
When you caress me... I'm relieved...
From the stress that forced me in chains
I knew we'd be on the brighter side of tomorrow
We're glistening in the moonlight
I knew we'd become candles in the heavens above us
We're glistening in the moonlight
For a moment, I felt your presence...your radiant with sympathy
I saw at first glance the dark side of you
Tonight, we'll be together and fly through the horizon
We'll watch the sunset say its last goodbye...
We'll wave a greeting at the moon!
We glisten in the moonlight...
What if I was as handsome as the lion...
Roaring with pride and pure courage
What if we were glistening in the moonlight?
Would it bring health to our bones tonight?
Would it make our heart rejoice and overflow with delight?
Would we be able to survive this horrifying plight?
Would we be shimmering like a candlelight?
We're glistening in the moonlight... (6)
Ohh...yeah...ooh yeah...ooh yeahh...
We reach to the stars and hope we can trace a shooting star
I feel the coolness run down my fingers...
We're glistening in the moonlight
You're the dandelions in the fields
You're the gorgeous view that I marvel at everyday
When you kiss me, I live my dreams
We glisten in the moonlight
In a quick moment, I sense a feeling of endless renewal
I roam inside of your illuminating maze
Glow on... sunshine...
Glow on...sunshine...
Glisten in the moonlight...
Listen to the truth and rub it in
You are ravishing like the sunset
But you're ascending while I'm descending
I feel extremely guilty
I wish I could glisten with you in the moonlight
You're glistening in the moonlight (6)
Ohhh yeahh... oohhh yeahh... ohh yeahh
You're glistening in the moonlight (4)
We go our own way
I wish we can glisten like the moon
Glisten like the sun
There's a dream concealed inside of me...
Reveal your light and pour it upon me
You glisten in the appealing moonlight
While I'm subsiding... you're fulfilling your dreams
Of gliding across the horizon
You're independence... keeps on scorching with satisfaction
While I'm below you...
Your emerald green eyes
Stared me down like a hawk...
Your emerald eyes
Gaze down at me genuinely...
I wish we could flee together in reality...
That could be a possibility
To glisten in the moonlight in glee
We were glistening in the moonlight (3)
But that was only a dream...
I'll pray that it turns into a reality
We were glistening in the moonlight
Now, I've misplaced my delight...
Will I ever experience such a brilliant night?

Make him a soldier

Make him A Soldier

Make him a soldier
so I won't cry anymore

Transform a boy to a man
 so he will stand...alone

 In the dark forest
 beaming
as natural combustion of dusk in the sky

Red blood running through our veins is the same
identical as if we share the same DNA

And even as a child I couldn't deny how our hearts beat the same

Rate pulse pace...boom
it startled me
but as I gaze in his eyes
I felt a deep connection
as if he knew me better than I knew myself

White
Our love is so pure and shall never be tampered
and even if life tries to poison us
we will always have each other
pure love

Blue water
a million miles away from me
and as he travels from sea to sea
I think of him daily

I try to remember where we came from
 blue water
shared space
different times

Blossomed from a tulip where our petals do not vary
and the sepals seem to follow a course set to sail

So I beg you
Make him A soldier
so I won't cry an ocean of tears
Transform a boy to a man
so he will stand beside me in my darkest hour.
Help me to raise my head
when he is long gone from here

When my fears are red
 my soul turns blue
let me remember the purity of us
how I loved a my brother a man of red, white and blue!

My Wishes are Simple

My Wishes are Simple

My wishes are simple,
my desires few,

to gaze upon an ocean,
and marvel at a solitary drop of dew.

My wishes are simple,
my dreams not too grand,

to feel the waves teasing my tired feet,
with no footprints left in the cool, wet sand.

My wishes are simple,
my thoughts serenely gentle, calm,

my heart resting beneath a swaying palm,

healing my being, caressed by nature's soothing balm.

Select a poem

Unknown to me poetess, and distant,
we've never met, or ever spoken,
nor we have lived, like non-existent,
fresh winter twigs, betimes are broken.

Wind's unmercifully consistent

then use a cork to seal a bottle,
with the enclosed hand-written letter,

On the Shore

On the shore her little feet stand
Fondly indeed on the beach's sand
On the ocean waves her nectar heart trust
Little did she know whether she must

Dampened sand beneath as she weeps with pain
As the sea flapped dragon slays her castle again.
On the ocean waves her broken heart burst
Wondering how the stray sea could be so unjust

Stronger was her dream than the nightmare that struck
Determined she was, leaving her foes awe-struck
Carved her Castle tower yet again.
Little architect's splendid castle is up again.

On the shore her little feet stand
Firmly this time on the beach's sand

Le Vacance Pretentieuse: Going Home

What is it to see the soil of home again?
A welcome, snow-struck and a return
To cold; sharp white contrasts sunburn.
We converse in broken tongues to men

We know, hooked on holiday language
Comprised of wandering hand signs.
Collect the car and pay parking fines,
Drive through towns and over a bridge

Until we reach the Western gateway.
Oh when will we arrive at our house?
No camels there, only field mouse
Which are eaten by our cat anyway.

The plane flies for an age, slyly yawning
Through the stretching, pealing sky,
A knife through air; what it is to fly.
Our travels over; a new day is dawning.

The Green River

She slips from the sleeping ice.
Green, fresh, free to flow
through the great fjord.
Past the blue mountains.

She glides smoothly
over the rocks with glee,
covering them with her cool touch.
Tall evergreens cheer her on.
Waving as she courses down her chosen path,
carrying life.

All the while never tiring!
Surging forward to join the others like her.
This vast journey ,
will not end till she reaches
The Great Shores.

Her journey is joyful.
Touching all on her banks,
leaving the gift of life in her wake.

Letters From The Ocean

For as the sun drowns in the misty waves
I coat my dreams with the filthy shade
And gently some drops of ocean tickled
Whispering my thoughts in a stormy tune
I coat my dreams with the filthy shade
Jiggling my soul with a wetted hope
Whispering my thoughts in a stormy tune
Drifted through my veins as I went on asleep
Jiggling my soul with a wetted hope
To believe in a rise of a holy sun
Drifted through my veins as I went on asleep
That abides to arise with daily new notes
To believe in a rise of a holy sun
And gently some drops of ocean tickled
That abides to arise with daily new notes
For as the sun drowns in the misty waves

The Beach At Eby Rd - - - My Quiet Place

The Ocean breeze soothes me. The sound of waves relaxes me. Soft sand between my toes, collecting unique driftwood to make crafts, beachcombing is my "quiet place". You can't live on an island and not love the water. I can sit and watch boats sailing by or watch eagles soaring in the sky. The beach is where I go to sooth my soul and find my inspiration. ~~~~ The Beach at Eby Rd.~~~~ (my quiet place) At the end of the road, I park, leaving my shoes behind. I walk along the sandy beach. All troubles leave my mind. I breathe in the sweet ocean air, raise my face to the sun. Inspiration flows through my veins. Another poem's begun.

Modern Day Fairy Tale

Through time and space we aren’t together,
But soon enough we will past this weather.
To meet one day and sigh each other’s names,
And to become one so our lives are the same.
The ocean stands between us, but our hearts still meet,
Broken laptops and internet problems are bleak
No credit on my phone, but you must hear my moan
I want you so bad right here with me,
But we are apart separated by the wicked sea
Modern day fairy tales face other foes in their place.
But we make it work because our feelings are encased.
I still go giddy simply speaking to you.
But when we ride the ocean and meet at last,
You so know I will blush deep red seeing your sexy Mexican ass.
You will laugh and make it sound so silly,
That I still can’t look at you without shaking and going dizzy.
This is good though because you know what I’m like,
I act like a school girl because you make me feel alight.
Once more I say with feeling,
That this ocean can’t keep away our beings.

Drifting Mainly

You belong to me mate ( Intro )
And that be that!
Get on board
And grab your hat!

The ship was aghast at its new passenger	( Verse )
Like disdain for the lives that they now left behind,
Newcomers were scarce
And they never would last
But I held up my chin nice and high.

The bloke who took me screamed	( Pre-chorus )
“Mop up the deck we’ve got things to do!”
But I said sir,
I’m just a boy and don’t know what’s to do.

And he said ( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shores
Taking what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Taking the seas for more than eight moons
We found islands and loot
That was bigger than most.
The taste of sea air
With its wind in my hair
Took me away to this new life I lead.

After mopping the deck
He grabbed my hand and screamed
 “Steer this ship boy!”
But I said sir,
I’m just a lad and don’t know where to go.

So the crew yelled	( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shore
Taking what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Surprising to me
Was my unshaven face
The captain looked on
And smiled with grace,
We stopped at a place
Where the women were loose and didn’t mind
If we took a peak.

He said “Now you’re a man so let’s get on that boat,
We got places to be and some people to rope,
So grab that sword and drop that mop
Cause you’re no longer a boy in my eyes.”

I practiced the duel with the men in the crew
The captain took eye to my devilish pride,
And he took me aside and said
“Even in death I’m gonna miss you boy
But don’t let it strike you
Or kill your spirits
Cause even time can beat out the Grim.”

Then in the darkness came fire and screams,
Our vessel had stopped after fourteen years,
The crew fought hard and beat most of the men
But now, my Captain was dead.

We took the new ship watching ours sink deep
Saying goodbye to our drowning escape,
The crew turned towards me and asked
“What do we do?” and I smiled,
And they did to.

And we yelled ( Chorus )
“Drifting mainly
Sailin the shores
Takin what’s mine
And leaving what’s yours
Cause you know, we ain’t dead yet.”

Redeem

Redeem

The silver clouds fled high, above the fair;
analogy of rainfall was and bliss,
the boats were swaying their unearthly prayer
like coffins cradled they above abyss.

Exploding foam his smile became and oath
with blooms of red the fates regaled Spring's knell
the main mast ropes and sails became his clothe,
communion hush he drunk, from Faith's dark well.

And in that stillness he regained her grace,
conceived soul's amvon to sustain her glance,
invited by her verse and rains' embrace,
a Stygian sermon was her offered chance.

That night the boats returned his childhood dream
to coves of their liturgical redeem.
