Sonnet of Space and Time

I savor my precious, quantum bliss; the vibration of the strings, echo Heaven’s kiss. In parallel worlds, are parallel lives; With them, I can identify. I’ve passed through, many walls of stone; through countless lives, I have roamed. I’ve tasted every experience, I found, that some, I still lament. A molecular epiphany, I have received. My life’s frustration, is appeased. Pure energy, is what we are and we can visit, every star. Quantum souls are limitless; join me and pursue your bliss.

Sonnet 18 Parody

Shall I compare thee to a winter’s day?
Thou art much more shrivelled and much more cold
Rough winds shake the withered leaves of today.
And your stomach hath too many a fold.

Sometimes too hot your sister shines,
And often is your grey complexion dimmed;
And you always smell like my uncle’s swine
Except your upper lip is less well trimmed.

Thy eternal summer did long since fade
And lost possession of that fair thou ow'st;
And Satan brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives death to eyes.

Michael's Blessed Birthday (Kyrielle Sonnet)

Have a blessed birthday Michael J Today I knelt for you to pray May His guiding light shine on you God’s grace I pray will bring you through May you have strength on your birthday With family this holiday Celebrating with faith like new God’s grace I pray will bring you through As your son returns home today Like a rainbow brightens the day Continue to wear a smile too God’s grace I pray will bring you through Have a blessed birthday Michael J God’s grace I pray will bring you through © Joseph, 11/20/07 © All Rights Reserved Hello Michael, have a blessed birthday and Thanksgiving holiday with your brave son and family. May God bless each of you always and as a family! The Kyrielle Sonnet is a French form from the Middle Ages. It has 14 lines (three rhyming quatrains and a non-rhyming couplet). It has a repeating line or phrase as a refrain in the last line of each stanza. Each line within the Kyrielle Sonnet has eight syllables. There are times when a French poem links back to the poem’s beginning; therefore, a common practice is to combine the first line of the first quatrain and the refrain in each quatrain as the ending couplet for the poem.

Sonnet I : Ink and nothing else

Freedom differs on how each men define it,
like the love of autumn or cold of winter.
Vast it may be but meaning is implicit,
so vast that no soul can ever hinder.

I define liberty as a pen and paper.
Mere it is , but my understanding is sure.
What is simple for you, to me strikes deeper.
Thin a paper be , but it lasts to endure.

The glory of ink is immeasurable,
for a tender soul of mine to comprehend.
Though age has numbers, I am an example,
of a generation's hope for we to ascend.

May the world be courageous to project art.
Like this sonnet , this is where I start.

Sonnet of Knights

Do you wish to learn the way of knights?
My son, you must vow to apply yourself well,
For in taking the oath that knights follow,
Comes engagement with the forces of Hell.
Be strong of wit and sure of heart; never
Give up, or turn from your sacred duty,
Lest you be accounted with eternal shame
And die without your honor or dignity.
Remember your armor, remember your sword;
Fend off the Dragon and call on the Lord.
Protect those around you, guard them all well,
Serve as your family's brave sentinel.
Stand strong for your king; it's his life you hold.
A valorous knight is worth more than gold.

Some Advice in This Sonnet

Some Advice in This Sonnet

A few words of advice in this sonnet:
Don’t hurt, if you too don’t like to be hurt.
When bad deeds return, you might regret it.
So watch your deeds, and take care of your words.

Always know that from above you’re being watched.
On your right and left are angels writing –
Collect whatever good deeds you may lack,
To please God and meet Him while He’s smiling.

Avoid supplications prayed against you,
Especially those of righteous Muslims.
Beware of everything you see and do –
Know that on Judgment Day, you’ll be questioned.

Obey Allah’s Rules, and good you shall get.
If you displease Allah, yours is regret.

Miriam / Mariam Mababaya

Sonnet of a Lover and Sinner

What a grave sin, what abomination—a lover
Loving a man of his choice, astray, following heart’s desire.
Pray tell, whom have I wronged and what prayer
Is there to purge this unholy burning fire?

The Most Merciful and Forgiving
Truly You are. But for all I know, no devil
Writes such sweet songs, so divine and of love, to sing
And no virtuous prophet, untouched by Gabriel,

Could fully decipher what Your will is.
So let me believe this love is pure
To the day when Israfel fulfils his
Heavenly duty. And all will see for sure:

Us, entering Your radiant celestial garden;
For even Azrael understands love is God-given.

Notes Of A Sonnet

Chaos silence my spirit leaves to fly beyond the desolate need nonchalance complete of jeweled light where darkness, despair has left my side Sweet breath of wisdom and lessons fair gather in solace where pain not dare I greet this rhapsody as if to know that eternities fire in him bestow To touch my soul to him beloved in luster a flight of steadfast love

Mister Nibbles Ameri-Sonnet

< amidst grass carpet he plays
                        long ears bushy tail white paws
                        nibbles bulbs munches away
                        poor little thing had some flaws

                         hides hair braided and despaired
                         didn't stop this little guy
                         thought to self this wasn't fair
                         bowed head and started to cry

                         nectar is what he had sought
                         on this hopeful days journey
                         not to be trapped or be caught
                         or carted off on gurney

                         Mister Nibbles came to play
                         In garden's bedding today

You Lost Your Heart and Soul, and Love Lost You--Fifth Shadow Sonnet Challenge

~~~You Lost Your Heart and Soul, and Love Lost You!~~~
Seas called me back home to the Red Sea
Souls without a spirit, were the lost souls
Be their promise my soul don't let me be
Cold and alone underneath the dead cold
Hearts cried out a love-songs deep in my heart
Sand in my shoes, thoughts buried in the sand
Darts hit my heart; arrows of fiery darts
Can this be love in my heart, say it can?
Doves of peace and life, fly high my white doves
Life faded away no one saved my life
Love lost its will, lost all I did to love
Strife took derelict of duty was strife
Due process lost the law, with life's pain due
You lost your heart and soul, and love lost you.
''Love, love, love, what is love'': a condensed sonnet
Love, love, love, what is love?
Love soars and fears no height;
love is joy and feels right;
love's god-like, from above.
Love softens the stone heart
and pierces the dark night;
it releases Christ's light
and stays, to ne'er depart.
Love loves you at all cost
and gives eternal life;
love saves those dead and lost
and kills Death with God's Knife!
     Love's God's divine, free grace,
     his love for the human race.
Devil Lover, Devil Judge (sonnet)
O beauty, under whose spell this man be
intoxicated by her love affair
as every night she wraps, seductively,
in whispers!  Swirling whispers in the air.
With pride of life, with lust of flesh and eyes,
her stratagem promotes wicked appeal
like sinfully delicious chocolate lies
my palette wets to make a business deal.
Then, somehow, with her charismatic charm
this brightest angel fallen from beyond
can have a man to trade his best for harm
and, in this cosmic game of chess, be pawned,
at whence the spell she lifts, plays magistrate.
So wrongly does she toy with this man's fate.
Songs My Soul Cried Ended the Psalms of Songs--Fourth Shadow Sonnet Challenge
~~~ Songs My Soul Cried Ended the Psalms of Songs ~~~

Grace was inside my soul, I’d love his grace
Please my grace travel the world, find peace please
Face of darkness of the deep grace did face
Knees freeze and their prayers had no bowed knees

Risks ensnared the soul waiting for life’s risks
Perils times, beliefs lost liar’s perils
Frisk my soul falsehood frolic death did frisk
Morals abandon humanity; dung looted morals

Known and unknown lost all grace they had known
Peace was feared in the world, they hated peace
Alone with lost faith, their soul all alone
Ceased beliefs, lost their twin towers grace ceased

Kiss of hell walked the Earth, souls did kiss
Love healed hearts on the Sabbath that was love
Bliss with no respect, cold souls mingled bliss
Above, joy of life gone; hell now above

Songs my soul cried, ended the psalms of songs
Wrongs unforgiven, no life was dead wrongs.

Prayer for Faith-Miltonic Sonnet

How can it be that few of us can see
the hands of greed and pride have dealt their blow
and caused a horrid lack of faith to grow
Will God still listen to my earnest plea
as I request His help on bended knee?
I’m lost, I did not see, I did not know
that we had come to cause a world of woe
alas, attributed to those like me
My fleeting youth is spent, but hope hangs on
that better generations yet to come
will resurrect the truth, the faith, the light
and recreate the path that seems foregone
To greed, despair and pride they won’t succumb;
I want to trust one day they will unite

Above All You Loved, Heaven is Above--Seventh Shadow Sonnet Challenge

~~Above All You Loved, Heaven is Above~~

Man made in the image of God, pray man
Woman, a rib of man your love woman
Can your love plan every thought, if you can?
Humans can pray for the lives of humans

Prime vigor, your heart felt life in your prime
Compassion understands, sweet compassion
Time ends days, life is wanting every time
Passions warm affection, loving passions

Life is living right, do you live like life?
Pride's deadly sins; love was not ever pride
Strife disputes harmony; bitter is strife
Brides don't cry, you're a rare most lovely brides

Sarah's Sonnet

Sarah sat shoulders slumped as the kitchen rocker
Squeaked against the wooden floor
Smells paraded in front of her
Onions sizzled in the heavy black skillet
Complimented by the seasoned liver as it
Quickly bloodied the flour while the gravy formed
Would the memories devour her?
Lawrence leaped before her like a hologram
His Buddha face slightly smiling
“I’m going for hamburger and French fries”
His voice was playful even in demands
He dribbled the ball, spun, snatched the keys from the hook,
Opened and slammed the door and bounded down the stairs
And she turned to the stove never to see him alive again.

My Times, My Times, How Art Thou O My Times--Third Shadow Sonnet Challenge

~~~My Times! My Times! How Art Thou O’ My Times!~~~
You made those asinine oaths that bind you
Law made good ways; you broke all of man’s law
Drew first blood, soul of time that belly drew
Raw material, rare flesh cold and raw
Slaves’ labor fueled the Earth, with lost slaves’
Box of secrets, received Pandora’s Box
Pave are the eastern roads, they made and pave
Talks of conspires theories, no truth for talks
Wood burning fire, smelling that old rose-wood
Doves flew far, wide and high, woes of white doves
Could fear help you see; fear did what it could
Love left your home; no one knew, your seeds love
How successful you are, great peace is how
Plow what made great love in the harvested plow.
Above Cherished Love, Bless Life From Above--Sixth Shadow Sonnet Challenge
~~~Above Cherished Love, Bless Life From Above!~~~

Taste the bitterness, life has lost its taste
Blood spilled sweet innocence that dried my blood!
Wasted soul where is your life you wasted?
Floods of dead men tales; we drown in floods!

Forgive me, if my soul will not forgive!
Hate lost life and everyone it hates!
Live my soul; love gave one reason to live!
Fate was what we needed, to seal our fate!

Nights blinding darkness; death desired the nights
Faith blessed our love; my heart loved our faith!
Life changed at last; one chance to love sweet life
Wraith my soul I'm nothing; I'm your lost wraith!

Love more than my will; where's your promised love?
Above cherished love, bless life from above!

Sonnet 1

Love taketh my heart and soul
    it recaptured my trust
never again shall I stand sole
    for your love, is lust
I learned not to love
   Thy heart cast melancholy melodies inside
Thy love is love that is only loved by the man above
   For love isn't a vied
My heart seems to haste
   yet I suffered
Unquestionably your love can be replaced
   When love comes to push and shove, I defer
As lies come across my ears
   As much as my pulverized heart been through
I learned to put off love as it corker, belittlement, and depressed me for years
   Thy heart day by day grew

A SONNET -his wokmanship

HIS WORKMANSHIP
A new dawn breaks,
night's other world,off-shaken,
we adjust our protective mask
donned once more,as we waken;
Covering frailty as we dress,
hiding weakenesses away,
our false personna holds sway
against the arrows of the day;
This role-play brings us stress
forgetting lines in our distress,
the armour falls apart
and truth seeps from our heart.

Then beauty with which each are made
becomes our image on parade

sonnet too

Sonnet.
I touched upon a dream perfectly chorographic
as a ballet troupe of sardines avoiding predators.
A dance where no one applauds and everyone
is a loser, sad except for the mysterious beauty
 of shimmering silver in a bottle- green ocean.

I touched upon a dream sparkling as fizzy wine
bobbles clung to cool glass disappearing with
plop- a momentarily rush of happiness- murmour
of voices; then the wine was still, yet for a second
the of mysterious wonder is remembered.

I touched upon a dream cold as a winter forest,
blue, frosty mist wrapped around trees; layers
of snow on the lake of recollection, but one day
a mysterious flash; and all will be remembered.

A Precious Lesson from Life: a condensed sonnet

Heed not religious men;
for they are false and fake,
wolves in disguise, in sin,
'gainst God's Word which they hate,
pervert, and make a burden
to the poor in spirit,
the pure, the lost, children
needing hope and respite
from life; these false prophets
wish to take your power
of choice from the pulpits
and make God's Truth a blur.
     If you do, you'll know loss:
     rather, seek Christ at the Cross.

The Soul Unknown--Second Shadow Sonnet Challenge

~~~ The Soul Unknown ~~~
Tell my sweet soul, spots on my soul do tell
My soul has no prayer, poor soul oh my
Well, these nightmares did not make me feel well
Try harder they say, I did want to try
So tears drenched my pillow; my heart cried so
Dreams faded and my heart sought a new dream
Owed my soul, love did not pay what I owed
Gleam rainbows were hidden, I saw no gleam
Where did my love go; dare my heat asked where?
End of my love lost a world in the end
Bare these yokes of burdens, my love did bare
Mend my broken heart, my love could not mend
Flawed existence, my love was lost and flawed
God punished my sins; have mercy please, God!
Sonnet 10
Come hither, and distance not thy stranger
Behold death upon his white horse leaping
Sir or mam will thou save me from danger
See thy which, a blind man or child weeping
      Eating weeds and dirt for comfort resting
      Drinking rain and bathing in its showers
      Am I not a neutered gory nestling
      In a flock of fairy friendly flowers
Grow thy heart and blessed be thy future
Deny not blessings angels do not offer
Or should thy accept a life of torture
Who knows what serpents I have to proffer
Help the angel who fell out of heaven?
Or the blind man who murdered eleven
Sonnet IV
Fleeting moments suspended in freezing air,
     One-sided passion burning like a cigarette,
A taste of feigned innocence and feigned lack of care
     Moving to the music of dreams we will soon forget.
So tell me now; kiss the bottle and spin the girl.
     Our lips show off the unsecrets they know about
And greedily caress inspired skin, unfurl
     A thousand fleshy rose petals and what's left out:
Our sins in ashes of our bodies, smoldering
     Coals in retrospect. Dance in the flames that consume
Our thoughts and actions-a distant sense of folding,
     A closer sense of cloud cover: impending doom.
Our bodies touch, they bloom, and quickly they will wilt
Upon the gravestones of the emotions we killed.
My faith is part of me,
It's who I really was,you see
hidden,then released,in me
Faith,and my poetry
sonnet of salem
the dark woods 'round
fed by hallowed hell fires,
blasphemous bells toll
echoes of satan's ire.
lifeless loves, livestock & lifestyle lulled
dolefully to sleep,
dust to dust
as we all must.
will i, peaceful & saved
in God's earthen hands be laid?
surely, lest to some devil is given the spade.
for evil hearts i yet weep,
as pure souls can savage demons surround.
did christ forsee a cauldron from the calvary mound?
Where the Dillies Wend (Pushkin Sonnet)
In pale sunshine as Winter bids farewell
A pretty face appears to spark a smile
Of golden dreams to cast a lighter spell
And thoughts of spring in languid minds compile.
On peaceful mornings, bird song finds its voice
As snow begins to melt as if by choice
It knows it's time is done as Spring is near
When daffodils in bloom restart the year.
The viridian blades in breezes bend
To dance with gilded maids in vernal days
These images of Spring enchanting eyes to gaze.
And dreams now follow where the dillies wend
Where candles flicker with merriment and mirth
To Mother Nature's triumphant rebirth.
Holy Sonnet 184
How I recall my thralldom as a man!
Base troths with idols, rituals of lust,
Hellish haven, hot blood; too late thou learn'st
Drowning desire and pleasure-profaned ban.
But sin may lead where virtue never can:
I - burning, thirsting, bleeding, dying - thirst
For love. Abandoned I, by mandrake curs't,
My lech'rous limbs cry out t'embrace a lamb.
Dear God! My bed a beam becomes. Blessed
Light, in which tearful floods and baser blood
Are rudely mixt, melded, hammered into good,
Grant unto me eternal love and rest!
Our natures thus cros't, I, like bedded bride,
Delight to sleep here, ever at Thy side.
