The Clouds

"THERE HE WAS HOLDING HIS HAND OUT"

=voice=
God, can I hold your hand and follow you?

"Gods voice"
My child, it is I who will walk with you! You walked down my path with and without faith. You took my protection to ease your pain. My shielded wings comfort you during your moments of suffering while your life staggered across earth. Your love and devotion are what made you strong. Every time your dreams were broken. You managed to build more dreams in their place. You called my name during your happiest and saddest moments. You ran to me when you fell behind. Your secrets became our private talks. The key to your heart was always unlocked. I was there during your trials and troubles and tribulations. We could not speak, it was my light that kept you from going weak.

=voice=
God, are you a dream of beauty? The holy book.
My preacher spoke of the afterlife, calling it paradise.
I remember now, I felt this company once before, this light.
Many times, I forsake the light and still you never left my door.
I felt it on the day I was born,
the day I became baptized in your holy name.
I felt this light before, can you explain it once more?
Lord pleases clarify the day I fell down to my knees, accepted Jesus as my savior?
On that day, I felt as if you stood away and walked on by, allowing me to face my failures’.
Was my life a waste in this impossible world?"

"Gods voice"
My child, this is the everlasting light you will feel every time your body is re-born onto a new road. This light never left you.
My sweet child did you not listen,
Matthew *19:26* MY SON looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with ME all things are possible.
My child, you were not searching for the right answers.

=voice=
My Lord everyone told me if I prayed you would come. Did I not pray enough?

"Gods voice"
My child sometimes your heart asked for more than life itself,
I always answered even when you shunned heaven away from your eyes?
The obvious question is whether this is the final immersing of your soul's disguises.

=voice=
Lord, I have other questions to ask.
What should I expect out of my personal sins?
My testimonial sits in the palm of your hand
My mind and my heart's inner core have been wicked since my adolescence--
How is it that I am in your promise land?

"Gods voice"
Getting right with me has brought you here!

=voice=
One more question My Heavenly Father
Can I see My Daughter, Mothers, Sisters, family, and friends?

The Peephole that is the Moon

An infinite door of midnight blue;
glowing peephole that is the moon.
Dare I look before turned to dust?
Yes, dear friend, I surely must.

In the midst, a city of finest gold,
large as the earth; immense and bold.
Quoins of pearl, this must be known,
the lusture seemed a life, it's own.
Rising from it, a mountainous temple;
whisps of prayers escape the steeple.

Without the city, fields of crystal flowers,
and trees more akin to wind chime towers.
Platinum trunks doning metalic leaves.
Angelic music when brushed with their wings.

Out from all this, layers of various planes
seemingly worlds of their own, yet all of the same.
Once starving children and homeless ones too,
with comforts of home; endless tables of food.
One plane of great sports, children running free;
prosthetics and wheelchairs, now trophies and glee.
Another, Indian braves running with buffalo,
women laughing carefree with children in tow.
Serene planes of beaches and tropical breezes.
On none was found pain, lameness or diseases.
Thousands of planes, but my favorite to view;
families and the ancients with no need of adieu.
So euphoric, this sight, but there is more to tell,
as three glorious chimes of the great temple bell.

All froze still as beams of golden light
transported them to the temple in quiet.
The most beautiful prayers and songs arose.
From within the city; pure love aglow.
Three bells again and all were beamed out;
some to the same planes, some different routes.

I wanted so badly, to open the door
and be in this place forever more,
but the door was locked and I had no key,
then an angel turned and flew towards me.
Approaching the peephole, that is the moon,
It said, "Don't worry, you'll be here soon."
I have need of a key, I began to implore,
and it slipped a note neath the midnight door.

I unfolded the note; three lines within,
and three nails fell out; payment of sin.
The first line proclaimed, the door was faith.
The second; the beams are God's loving grace.
Overcome by peace as I read the third line.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the light,
and I remembered a scripture that so sweetly states;
"For by grace, through faith, are ye saved."

Thank You For This Bounty, God

Thank you for this bounty, God
that you give to me
for grain that grows within the field
and fruit upon the tree
Thank you for the little seeds
that in the spring are sown
and with your gifts of sun and rain
have through the summer grown
Thank you for the farmers, Lord
and bless them for their toil
as now they gather in the fall
this bounty from your soil

This was inspired by Brian Strands' Harvest Hymn Contest, which I unfortunately missed
but I wanted to share it with you today and dedicate it to Brian for the inspiration and
support he gives to us here at the Soup. RG

THE WHEEL HAS COME FULL CIRCLE

What goes up must come down.
No colors can define who you are.
You may own a cart or limousine.
We'll still reach the end when it is near.
I may be poor today and eat from trash.
Tomorrow, you can't tell. I'll earn some cash.
The bed where you lie is soft and wide.
I sleep at a sidewalk and the stars are my lamp.
You wake up each morn' with a feast on your table
While we are scavenging to fill stomachs when we're able.
Our destiny isn't written in the stars.
We work for a living to thrive in this life.
Be thankful every morning you witness the sun
And pray tonight that no one lives same as I.
Wheels come in full circle, rolling round and round.
Today you'll be on top,
I am watching from the ground.
Let us bear in our minds that we are better than birds.
Our loving Father ensures each mouth is fed.
Not even the smallest details can pass by His eyes.
So plant a seed of kindness and reap a better life.

Lonely Dreams

I never knew following dreams could be this lonely,
But up on the hill, looking back, thank God I'm not the old me.
If the tears will fall, let them be;
I believe this is God's plan, follow your dreams.

No Greater Love

For God so loved this sinful world, He gave us all His son; That we might live with Him one day, when life on Earth is done. No greater love was ever known, no greater gift bestowed, And for the love He sacrificed, no greater debt’s been owed. The time was short for Jesus Christ, but what He gave mankind To lift our hearts and save our souls has yet to be refined. The grace and style in which He moved through politics and fools, Has paved the way for paths we trod through worldly ways and rules. His teachings spread throughout the land, His miracles renowned, He only had to touch a life to show His love was sound. Two thousand years have come and gone since Christ communed with man; And with his dying saved us all, to serve God's ancient plan. He rose from death, as He had said, and proved His word was true, That life eternal waited those who choose to suffer through. Salvation came that fateful day, the Bible tells us so; And time has shown that through God’s love the weakest spirits grow. Now, modern times are hard on us and cause us all to doubt, For change is there at every turn, and Satan’s always out. It’s now we need the love of God, for always, as before; Just lift your heart and ask for it, and see what lays in store. It’s through God’s love we handle change and how it makes us strong In ways we deal with worldly things and sort the right from wrong. For change is just another way the Lord sees fit to use To make our days seem fresh and new with paths to take and choose. It’s by our faith we live our lives and seek a brighter day, And how we find the confidence when doubts get in the way. But most of all it’s happiness that faith’s been known to give When our misfortunes come to cloud these modern times we live. We need not fear what God has wrought. We need not know His plan. We only need to know He’s there, and love’s in store for man. Just think the words you’d ask in prayer, and ere a sound be heard, His perfect love will fill your heart before you’ve breathed a word. No greater love was ever known, no greater gift bestowed, And for the love He sacrificed, no greater debt’s been owed. But God forgave our debt to Him, we live in grace today; The greatest love you’ve ever known is just a breath away.

YOU ARE GOD and I HAVE TO BELIEVE

YOU ARE GOD and I HAVE TO BELIEVE My dear Father God above the heavens high ever loving and ever faithful in loving me even though, I am being sinful, stubborn, and disobedient to follow Your call and will... I am really sorry for the times I failed but I surely want to ask, how do I know if the decisions I am pursuing are Your will? How do I know that amidst deafening silence it is Your resilient but gentle voice I am hearing? It's long while now that I was taught to pray but to Your eyes, are my prayers correct? Are you really listening intently to them? Why at times You only answer me when all are black, when all my plans are disrupted, unruly and crooked? Why at times You are letting me wait, for hours, days, weeks, months and even the length of a lifetime? I humbly want to thank You for the roof o'er my head, the food I am able to eat and enjoy in every meal, the trials and tests You and I joined to pass, the steady beating of my heart telling me: I'm alive. I adore You, each breath that passes from my lungs, I want to thank You, honor You, praise and glorify You but how do I know that I am doing these alright? Is it enough that I simply attend a Church service? And there I reply amen, sing or shout Your Holy Name? Or I do better by loving sincerely other people? I, sharing in loving- kindness the blessings You abundantly are raining down in my life... Do I brush a smile or a laughter to Your cheeks when I give alms to the poor? Or more when I offer freely and wholeheartedly a hug, an embrace, an ear my time to someone who is afraid, lost, sick or sad? Or most of my deeds result to I painting often a frown on You? Or worse I pierce Your big, big heart when I don't even recognize Your goodness to me. Oh forgive me, forgive me please Father God... Scientists, religious persons and even my parents have described You to me but when O when, when will I ever have that chance to behold Your face? When will I have some minutes to hold or touch You? My heart and my spirit longs of Your gracious presence, of Your awesome essence. I am overwhelmingly blessed when in my everyday I am treated by others fairly. but-- are they the signs that will whisper: You are always with me? From the perfumed air of budding roses or ripened fruits to drumbeats of rain and prickly strikes of the sun are they the ones You want me to feel, smell, and see `cause they speak the beauty and love You have for me? I believe and love You my Almighty Father God but is this enough for me to be saved after death? My being is happy that You came and spelled freedom and into my own hands lies the crucial choice to either believe You or not. . . ___________________________________________________________ CONTEST NAME: ARE YOU THERE GOD Contest Sponsor: Silent One ~~3rd Place~~ but to God be the Highest Glory! ~~POEM OF THE DAY - October 15, 2015~~ but to God be the Highest glory! A Letter to God

I wrote a letter to God and I had to ask why,
He allowed so much suffering and little people had to die?
One’s that had never caused trouble or done anybody harm,
Taken before they experienced life, plucked from their mothers arms.

He said answer me this, why did my son have to suffer and die?
Nailed to that cross I couldn’t even watch, all I could do was turn my head and cry!
What trouble did He cause, what harm did He do?
And all for what, He did it for you.

He said you couldn’t comprehend all the things that daily take place,
And all I ask is your trust till we meet face to face.
He said all things have a reason and someday you will know,
But you must trust in my word so your faith will blossom and grow.

I said Lord please forgive me if I sounded out of line,
It seems like all we ever do is complain, ask for mercy, or whine.
I know that you are busy so I guess I will close,
Thank You for listening and my love I enclose.

FINDING GOD

FINDING GOD My hungry heart and thirsty soul yearns for refill... Darkness and light roll then turn me up and down. Laughter and cries conjure caress my being in shrill. Gaping aghast to running rush caused a run-down! Yet, You my God comforted me 'neath water tides try. In trials and confusion, Your Sovereign a rock still. To shaky hope and weakness, Your grace empowers my will. The wilderness brings forth spring when I found yea... Hearing the sweetness of your voice in silence unfolds truth - healing wells of pains and woes... Heaven's breath by blossoms smell brought no shyness of searching... finding... knowing You more and more... Stars and moon shine along with my life's lamp shall bow in praise and worship, the deepest reverence I can offer. Thanking you until my life is done, my forever vow. As finding You, my God within labyrinths sets order... (c)Olive Eloisa 4:11am August 10. 2013 FIRST PLACE, GLORY TO GOD!!! One Evening in July

Once driving home, I did defy
A deluge from the darkened sky.
The bluster lent a tinge of fright.
But God is good, and all is right.

When soon my house came into view,
Southward was cerulean blue.
And to the west an orb shone bright.
Oh, God is good, and all is right.

Voluminous the sun did rest
Upon a mountain gleaming lest
I look away; miss more delight!
But God is good, and all is right.

For where the azure sky met gray,
A rainbow over my house lay.
With peaks to east it did unite.
Oh, God is good, and all is right.

This finite sight I need to store
Inside my mind; when troubles pour,
I'll think on it. And so I write
My God is good, and all is right

For Giorgio Veneto's Beloved Poem Contest
By Andrea Dietrich in Rhyme form. I suppose
you could say Couplets but they are couplets
inside quatrain type stanzas, so I am just calling
it rhyme.

*This is a beloved poem of mine for the simple reason that it
was one of those rare poems truly inspired by reality. A lot
of my poems are based on pictures or challenges or things
I see in movies or simply from my playing with words. This actually
happened to me. I had just begun writing poetry in my life, and these
words were going through my head as I beheld the beautiful
rainbow that signaled the end of the frightening storm! When
I reached my home, I immediately began jotting down the words!

Another Piece of God's Art

"Slipping into a coma, the emptiness of a dreamless sleep.
Nightmares filling your head, where nothing is what it seems.
You're underground, desperately tryna' find your way out,
tunnels all around, but doors are no where to be found.

The ground has no traction, and you're floating above air.
Tryna' hold on to something, but there's nothing there.
And then you fall, and all you can hear,
is the rippling of your clothes, and the wind in your ear.

And just before you hit the ground,
you feel something grip you, without making a sound.
The next thing you know you're looking into a Man's eyes.
You feel safe but afraid, all at the same time.

That's when you wake, but you were never asleep.
And you're lying in a bed, with the Man at your feet.
He welcomes you to His kingdom, and into His heart,
and He finishes his drawing, another of piece of God's art."

*****************************************************

This poem is about one's struggle to find God. About having to search, and feeling hopeless. Like we aren't really traveling through Hell, but we are searching with no idea which way we are going, blanketed in a coat of black. Like an infinitely deep hole with a small stream at the bottom, and you've just got to hope to find that stream. Then when you think all hope is lost, you realize that He has been sitting there, waiting for you, pulling you out of the darkness Himself, knowing you would look for Him. He accepts us into His kingdom. It's as if we are a piece of art, and he is adding on to us everyday..

I see God before me

As I lay down to die I can see my soul being taken
before my eyes.
I see God before me.

I feel the sun shining on me.
The warmth invades my body.
No more feeling of cold surroundings.
I smell the spring flowers from a field.
I see the mountains with their peaks.
I see God before me

I hear the waters flow so peacefully.
I see a lake that is so calm with the mirror of a blue sky
That is above me.
I see God before me.

I am at peace and have no needs.
I am at happiness made just for me.
I feel no pain and have no illness.
I hear the birds singing just for me.
I see God before me.

I am lead by the hand through the field of harmony.
An Angel guides me with love.
A light blinds me.
I hear a symphony of Angels.
God is not before me now.
God is with me.

Growing a Glowing Eternity

When my final shade is drawn,
My breath all spent, truly gone,
I will end life’s marathon
And release my essence strong.
I will blend with divine light
To ascend to Heaven’s heights.
Just as with my other lives,
I will meet with my advisor
Who exists to grow me wiser.
Together we will next review
All my wrongs, my every right
From the earth life I just knew.
With ever divine, eager bliss,
My advisor will compare this list
To God’s perfect, master scroll
Of truth’s lessons for each soul.
From that a purpose will unfold -
An outline of my next human goals.
We will agree to use déjà vu
To prompt my earth-self on true.
After life mapping, when it is through,
Father will wrap me in His hug;
As child of love, void of sin,
I will then be reborn once again.

Thus, Our Father will shape me
As ideal before He takes me
To see and be free for eternity.
When as fallible human being
My spirit completes each lesson,
My “I Am” will shine in Heaven.
I will be one light people see
When they adore the galaxy
Where I will glow for eternity.

Ancient Shadows Awaken into God's Light

Ancient Shadows Awaken into God’s Light

Underneath the deep seabed the stirring sands of time have passed on.
Ancient shadows continue to haunt all of us from the oceans’ depths,
And insidious and violent nightmares portray bloody and evil visions,
As an old treasure chest is opened and a gull’s cry foretells tragic stories.

Untold riches awaken Neptune’s deepest waves as the tides turn inward,
And a star-gazing dust trail turns into a golden circle of subtle measure.
The dark moon’s horrid howl sounds in its crimson cradle over the ocean
As the cruelest beast from evil Hellspawn creeps and invades all energies.

The moon’s beam feasts on poor and lonely souls under the cover of night,
Whilst savagely touching the sad forlorn places between Heaven and Earth.
These unholy places of dark origin beckon the spirit of a vile Vampire who
Cometh from a deep-darkness creeping around under the Devil’s own aura.

This Prince of Darkness bringeth enchanting soft-sweet kisses of solitude,
Tempting now the innocent silhouette of a ravishingly beautiful young lady
Whose true desire and passion for love leaps over an ice-ruby magical fire,
As her robust heartbeats incite the Vampire’s ravenous thirst for her blood.

The sensual fire stoked by this lady’s heartbeats and lifeblood burn sold
Down a macabre river of true darkness, all perfect up, as she gasps aloud
For air, wincing and moaning audibly, as she expires with a most ghastly
Death rattle as the Prince of Darkness gleefully smiles at her godless soul.

This gruesome image invokes a blending of human bread eating into the
Suffering eyes of salted fish bait trapped and gasping for air, for mercy,
Just like a trapped drunken sailor now swallowed inside hungry ghouls
Who haunt over dark sea whispers that chill to the bone mankind’s future.

Those souls lost within the land of this living dream bask now positive as
The darkness turns into sunlight in God’s own yard of supreme radiance,
Metamorphosing into a lovely butterfly emerging from its silken cocoon,
Now so cotton-soft and swallowed by the bright light of the human soul.

The soul’s lucent energy of heavenly radiance comes forth for all to see
As the Devil’s dark beast now sings its paeans of utter joy as this terror
Transforms itself—yet ever so slowly—into a calm sea of true change.
With this miracle change cometh a peace sanctuary of God’s angels!

That’s a thousand of God’s angels now chanting with a pleasured delight
As a heaven-sought change comes to nurture the plight of all lost souls.
With this aura of change, love’s sacred light shineth now so ultra-bright,
For even the darkened heart of the beast can find peace in Heaven’s light!

We await to see where this beast shall go and what shall follow in kind.
Shall this former beast of the Devil himself experience a final epiphany
To be like the blessed butterfly or to return to the black heart of the crow?
Almighty God does indeed move in the most mysterious of ways!

The Prince of Darkness laughs no longer as his long-lost soul burns hot
And blue-bile-black-red in Hell’s own deepest, darkest inescapable pit!
No redemption for him and for his master, the Devil, confined below.
By God’s holy command, all ancient shadows shall awaken whole into
Heaven’s eternal and radiant light! All by God’s divine grace and mercy!

Amen! Amen! Amen!

I SURRENDER

I SURRENDER My God You read my thoughts... You know what's in my heart... You know my desires, my needs and my wants; You know what brings me happiness and sorrows; You know everything about me. More than me ever, I know you know me; There are times I wonder why I need to experience these; I wonder why You brought me to some places; I wonder why... There are times You answer me immediately.. Yet there are times I need to wait.. for a day, a month or years... I am sorry sometimes I am impatient.. I am sorry sometimes I falter. And sometimes I become depressed and anxious... yet despite all these my Father God... I am holding myself back.. I keep on reminding myself that You are bigger than anything.. That You are walking with me and carrying me through all the way... I know and I trust that in the silence.. You will speak to me; You will calm my nerves; You will understand my weakness; You will give me peace. And that you will direct me to where the best is.... I have my plans my Father God.. But.. I trust You.. I trust that Yours is better than mine.. I trust that Yours is best for me... I do not have everything my Father God.. but its okey.. Only I ask... That please give me more strength... give me more wisdom... give me more understanding... give me more patience... I thank You for everything.. I know that without You by my side.. I have been long down.. I have been all just a person without a will. a person meaningless... a person who is empty.. or at losS.. Thank You for searching me... I know a lifetime will never be enough to thank You.. Nor what I have is enough to You.. But I trust that despite these,, You will see me through.. You will still hold me through.. For I believe, You will see my heart... Thank You very much.. I know and I trust that whatever is happening now.. You are in full control. Hence, I am totally surrendering all to You. For my life is within Your hands, I surrender to You... (c)Olive Eloisa 6:04am June 04, 2014

A PLACE IN THE SUN

A PLACE IN THE SUN A place in the sun, it's there I want to run. . . Orange and yellow palette brush my face, they dry my wells of fears and so I won, I-- slowly flower from God's skirt of grace. Unfailing is His love shown sweet to His face, I eagerly crave to behold in million tons as to entwine in His warmth: My Master race. A place in the sun, it's there I want to run. . . Rainbow peeping after some raging storm spun; His reminder that we: His people must chase infant days to grow better with our love ones. Orange and yellow palette brush my face for God so kind. My pains, He soothes and erase. Tender are His words as I read them one by one helping me be fearless yet humble with my pace. They dry my wells of fears and so I won-- then my heart soar high, I have some fun. Evil always haunts but with Him, all I can evade, hence, troubles are little but close to none. I slowly flower from God's skirt of grace. . . God crashes darkness with love not by gun. Must we go elsewhere when He is the best hiding place? God is everything before even life began God our undefeatable fortress-- His base a place in the sun. __________________________________________________ Sponsor Gail Angel Doyle Contest Name A Place In The Sun Placed 1st ©O>E. God's Kind of Poetry

I formed the poet to be my clay pen
To dance on the pin tip of my understanding
I delight in words
All things came into existance through my words
The planets
The stars
The moon
The sun
The universes beyond what you can see
They are tethered by my imagination
I am a God of order
I delight in repetition
My ways are perfect
What you see a chaos, fits perfectly into my plans
I occupy all the spaces
I exist within each breath
My energy flows from beginning to end and back again
I allow you to glimpse my shadow
For my full Glory would consume your human form
I am beyond your comprehension
Yet I wish you to know me
Ponder me
Come into my loving arms
My words are written on ancient scrolls
Each verse contains my essence
My invitation to a wondorous feast
Taste the succulence of my bounty
The flavours my affection
My consummate Love
Do not be concerned with the temporary
Trust in my grace
For I know all your needs
This world will one day disappear
Paradise will reside under your feet
I will be your completion
Dancing will have new meaning
Rivers will sparkle like diamonds
The skies will no longer need the sun
For I will be your light
We will walk through a new Jerusalem
Streets of gold
Buildings encrusted in precious gems
Trees will be laden with fruit
No hunger
No tears
My children will know freedom
Strength will course through veins
Angels will walk in their midsts
Age will no longer be their enemy
Death will be a forgotten memory
For I am God
My words
My poetry
They can be your reality
Make use of your free will
I am bound by my own promises
You must choose my path
Be a vessel of my Love
You my clay pen
Can flow
With golden ink

For this contest I am asked to write from the perspective of God.
It is an insurmountable task for one as limited as myself. I humbly
submit this attempt and pray that it honors my heavenly Father.

It's Only Through Jesus

~It's Only Through Jesus~ (Rhyme) It's only through Jesus that we can come to that wonderful place So filled of love, and peace and supplied of eternal grace It's only through Jesus that we can come to His Father someday The Bible makes it so plain and clear and there's no other way God is the sovereign Author of everything upon the Universe, the sea and earth, He's written it all and designed it all with His own Almighty Hands God is the Master Painter of everything you see all over the sea and every land It's only through Jesus, the Perfect Lamb, that we can have salvation for eternity His love is so Grand It's only through Jesus, that you can have the precious treasure of "new birth" and be "Born Again" spiritually Just then you can understand and see the big picture, and discover, why so many things really make sense The importance of God's plan and how much He really loves us all Nothing happens by accident,He already had a plan for you and me, His love is profoundly immense Praise be the Name of our Mighty God, because He's in control of everything you can and may not see It's only through Jesus that we can have life abundantly and eternally, call Jesus! and then you'll see. Psalm 23 King James Version (KJV) 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. OMNIPOTENT: HE KNOWS ALL

OMNIPOTENT: HE KNOWS ALL I know today, at this time You... my son(man), may not wholly know me. but, may I ask you... Have you taken one time to close your eyes in silence, feel me in your midst... and somehow reflect why despite say: your abounding richness still, you feel lost or empty? your waterfall trials still, you find yourself standing? your ten thousand sins still, you are given another day to live? My eyes, My hands, My feet. My heart, My breathe, My mind, All of them are filled with unselfish love for You. Before... I created the world complete and beautiful for you that all you need and all you want is there within your grasp. Within your reach. No hunger. No thirst. No killing. No stealing. No pain. No disease. Nothing evil is there nor anything to cause a tear from your eyes. I created you my son as like me unto my image and likeness you are mold yet above all these, how was I to know... that with some lies of a devil you will desire to be greater than I am. but I have forgiven You and given You always chances to change, to be better and once again look unto me as Your God alone. Yet, You seem to be blind, deaf or seem to be high-pride Hence, I have come to the point of sending you, my Only Begotten Son Him, who I answered and empowered through His uttered prayers. Him, whom I asked to fully demonstrate how it is to be human and more to be God at the same time. Him, who didn't consider status, gender, race or age. Selflessly, He embraced all but overall still He wasn't accepted . Him, who begged with blood of tears that I will take away the cup from Him but later, surrendered and humbly said: MY WILL BE DONE. so even His follower who was bribed-- became a traitor. And so, He was condemned and put to death. Again, my son, I ask you to ponder on this Do you need me to every now and then be infront of you? (when I am always here knocking at Your heart's door) Will by seeing me in flesh and hearing my voice convince you? (aren't my Creations: the sun, flowers, the waters, the air tell you am around?) that I am Your God, who will never leave you nor forsake you. (aren't my spirit, your friends, family, supporter, or even a kind stranger tell you am present?) Don't you recognize every single day that I am performing miracles for you? (but sad. Sad. Sad that you don't notice them) Have I not given you a heart and a mind to know and decide? To name a few.. I am a builder. I am a teacher. I am a healer: the greatest physician. I am a fisherman. The great carpenter. The great farmer. The great gardener. Oh yes! yesterday, today and even tomorrow you will hear or you will see so much about me from anyone but have I not told you always to seek me by your heart and that apart from me you can not do more and that you need faith, hope and love to see me... As strong as the wind, as quiet as the forest As fearless as the fire, as immovable as the mountains from east to west, from north to south to the flying spell of the night, to the erupting swell of the sun even borders and beyond... I am the way, the truth and the life I am the alpha and omega I am the one and only God I am who was, who is and yet to come I am the God who knows all... I so love you my son that above all this, I gave you free will, I am leaving you the choice... to open your door for me or not. Will you let me enter, my son? _________________________________________________ 10:03 pm, March 24, 2015

Tell Me

I have heard, others talk about your god
He doesn't sound like a god I wish to know
Sitting in heaven high on his throne
While I'm left to suffer here all alone
Guilty of sins for which I must atone
I've called those television evangelists on the phone
Put my hands on the screen, as they gave god praise
Was that him working in mysterious ways?
They say he created everything in just six days
No wonder he needed a day of rest
He must be more exhausted with all the sins being confessed?
I myself could keep him busy for over a year
You can't imagine what's on my chest
It goes even deeper compacted and pressed
So why? I ask why
Why do I need a god of fairy tales
Hung on a cross with nails
Him who is righteous
and me who always fails
Tell me?
Yes tell me
I really want to know

I too would not want to know that god
Distant sitting on a throne
While we suffer all alone
Burdened by sins for which we can't atone
Confessing to some fraud on a telephone
I will let others sing their false praises
With their religiosity and New Age Crazes
Repeating pseudo wise lines and rehearsed phrases
Placing unsuspecting seekers in guilded cages

I sit here and wonder
What is there for me to tell?
I have no magic spell
God isn't a product to sell
Let others try to argue and yell
I cannot convince you what to feel
You believing in God doesn't make Him real
He has always exisisted
Deeper than any feeling
Not just a fairytale
Abstract and appealing
He says "Come to me all you who are weary"
A God of compassion
Not a "Big Bang Theory"
Because I know Jesus
I'm thankful and teary
He has answers to question's that can't be answered by "Siri"

It's hard understanding
a God you don't know
When you feel tossed by life's waves to and fro
Reach out your hand, my God won't let go
Look in my eyes
See God's reflection
With his heart I witness your perfection
You are not some evolutionary collection
Formed from cosmic dust or random selection
You are Loved that's why Jesus died for you
His love intimate
Freely given and true
Unearnable by things you think you have to do
He patiently knocks at your door and waits for you
if you open the door you will believe in Him too
I speak from my heart and these words are true

We each have our own truth is what I believe
Yours is original sin, Adam and Eve
Yet your God is intimate as well
One who Loved us even though we fell
I'll keep my mind open and wait for a sign
If he's real, perhaps one day He'll be mine
Give me your book
I'll read and test it line by line
Perhaps the water in my veins
Will turn into living wine
When with the King I dine!

Reposting after reading Miraj's thought provoking poem "In Search of God".

This is a creative exercise between myself and my friend Eileen.
I've chosen to take on the persona of a non believer who is questioning.
I look forward to her response, it should make for an interesting conversation.

I put Eileen on the spot with this one by posting it before she viewed it.
Her creative process is different than mine and I should have respected that.
Eileen sent me some soup mails with some creative ideas which I have
weaved into my story. Thanks for the inspiration Eileen, we will take on
another collaboration soon.

Hands of light

She lets him lift her with hands of light
Discarding tattered robes of darkness
Warmth penetrating her broken heart
Some promises really do come true

Discarding tattered robes of darkness
Why is it such a hard thing to do?
Some promises really do come true
We need to look well beyond ourselves

Why is it such a hard thing to do?
Strange comfort comes from the pain we hold
We need to look well beyond ourselves
Listen for the sound of a gentle knock

Strange comfort comes from the pain we hold
Suitcases that are too heavy to hold
Listen for the sound of a gentle knock
He promises to take them away

Suitcases that are too heavy to hold
Warmth penetrating her broken heart
He promises to take them away
She lets him lift her with hands of light

Yes Friend, It Will Matter

Say not to me, that it will not matter a hundred years from now, that I was here. For surely I have touched one life in a positive way, perhaps in daily prayer I've called your name one day. Having no profound accomplishments or delusions of fame, and leaving no progeny to perpetuate my name, still, it will matter that I was here. For I have quietly endeavored to sow, and I have watered. I love and am loved--should one desire more? Life is good and hopefully God is pleased. The tracks I'll leave, it's true, will not be so ingrained as to stand harsh winds of time and they shall fade as the evening sun, leaving somewhere, only a name and date chiseled in granite. Perhaps, if only in thought, one pausing o'er me should question, who was this man? Let God simply whisper, that I am His.

Mysterious Ways: A True Christmas Story

A true story, based on family oral tradition
from the oldest part of the city of Bern,
capitol of Switzerland, where my mother was
born and raised, in the Nydegghoff)

He lighted the candle with a quivering hand,
his overcoat seeming to weigh down the old man.
He paused in the aisle to genuflect,
and wondered if God knew his heart was a wreck.

He found a pew and got to his knees,
hands clasped together, he sent out his pleas.
He is old and he's tired, now he's alone,
his wife died last Spring, now his house wasn't home.

They'd been blessed with one son, he'd died in the war,
and now there was nothing for him to live for.
He prayed until his knee pain was great,
then sat back in the pew and tried not to shake.

The cathedral was beautiful; he loved the stained glass,
but, oh, they brought memories of Sundays past.
How could he make it through Christmas alone
in a house that was empty, no longer a home?

The kitchen was silent and cold as a tomb,
but her scent lingered on in their modest bedroom.
He said one last prayer, then rose to his feet,
genuflecting again, he went out on the street.

He walked home near blindly, not even aware
of the snow that was landing on his shoulders and hair.
He was cold inside, his heart like a stone,
and he felt completely and utterly alone.

He turned down his street, saw his porch light's glow,
and only then realized it had started to snow.
He opened his gate, thought of making some soup,
but froze in his tracks at the sight on the stoop.

On his porch sat a basket, the old wicker kind,
he thought for a moment, he was losing his mind.
Inside the basket that sat on his mat,
were three tiny kittens and one momma cat.

What a pitiful sight, so cold and so thin,
he scooped up the basket and hurried them in.
He found some canned tuna and warmed up some milk,
gently petting the babies, whose fur was like silk.

He never discovered who left those cats there,
but, as his love grew, he no longer cared.
His wife had loved cats and this comforted him,
as they slept on his head, or tucked under his chin.

The kittens grew quickly, as they're wont to do,
amused by their antics, his love grew and grew.
There was laughter and joy 'til the end of his days,
for God works, as you know, in mysterious ways.

Heavens' Doorway

One day there was an accident, and to heavens gate I was called.
As an angel sat down beside me, upon the bed I had been put upon.
Such a shining warmth ensued as it held me in its thrall.
A thought from God proclaimed, “What with your life have you done?”
Then all of life fled past me, but not as I did expect to see it done.
For all I saw and felt were things I hadn’t known I had done, and yet…
So much pain inflicted to each, with such little words and thoughts.
I never would have known such power, by one person, could be wrought.
I bowed my head in shame at the pain I knew I could not undo, yet…
Suddenly, I found myself forgiven. Yes, TRULY it was true!
Hallelujah became my amazed and impassioned cry before him, that night!
His warmth had never wavered, nor even his illustrious, wonderful light.
How could he forgive me, someone as wretched and lowly as I?
And yet, he did… and so he changed my life from then on out.
But low and behold he wasn’t yet done with me, or so my story goes…
He sent me back to my home again… it in comparison brought me low.
But he said my work lay uncompleted, so now I must go back…
He said to stay clean and I would blossom… What do you think of that?
A veil he placed upon my eyes to remove me from the knowledge of all I’d known.
Then he sent me from his side, where I could not see him but knew he was.
Now, here I stand before you, a totally changed and humbled one.
Still, I have found I have sinned again… I know he must have known.
Perhaps some day, as I patiently wait… I’ll be allowed once more within his gate.
Only time will tell, as again I’ll feel every ones pain…
All I can say is: God Forgive Me… as I continue to wait…

(This Near Death experience really happened and changed my life.)

Angels and Aliens

With the Biblical accounts of angels
Regarded by some as proof of aliens

Science and religion remain at odds
One says the other has no faith in God

Is there no room in Earth’s family portrait
For both sides to speak, not one view omit

If we believe God created all things
Can’t this be said of other-world beings

No life’s threatened by angels or aliens
So mocking of either just makes no sense

When God created both heaven and Earth
Perhaps a new species of life gave birth

In another part of His Milky Way
And, in friendship, they visit us today

Appearing from the sky basked in white light
Celestial creatures laugh at the sight

Of scientists and theologians
Pitting God’s angels against God’s aliens

And man’s ignorance they may deride
Since angels and aliens thrive side-by-side

Be Still

Be still and know that God is with you.
Be still and know His love is real.
Be still and know your Heavenly Father,
Feels every joy and pain you feel.

Be still and let God's love enfold you.
Be still and know His perfect peace.
Be still and know God is all-sufficient,
His grace and mercy will never cease.

Be still and know that God is for you.
Be still and know you're not alone.
Be still and know He'll ne'er forsake you.
He knows your name - you are His own.

Be still and know that God is holy.
Be still and learn His righteous ways.
Be still and know that God is worthy,
To receive our worship and our praise.

The Christian I am not

I have been a Christian for many years,
Hiding behind the mad poet has drenched me with tears
For I am a sinner the chief of them all
Writing poetry that has made me feel appalled

I have coveted, lied, hated and stole
Indulged in adultery with an innocent sole
I have broken my family, and now live in separate homes
While writing perversions of my conquests in poems

The thing that worries me, is that I feel nothing at all
This is what scares Sidney. C Hall
I see the ten commandments almost all broken
Save for killing no words of remorse that are spoken

Am I destined to a life burning in hell?
As part of the masses with speeches that make heads swell
Denying God and not seeking his Grace
Awaiting the day to say “I have no excuse,” to his face

Or believing a lie that there is no forgiveness
And just going along my ungodly business
Ladies and Gentleman my soul is in turmoil
Sin runs through my veins causing my blood to boil

I say to myself Sid you need to change,
Then the next minute something take me out of range
But I feel nothing, so how can this scare me
If I feel nothing , why is fear in hell, I see

Could this be God preparing my final years
I hope and pray soaked in tears

The Final Say

As our world spins into this blatant madness Family units like dead leaves, fading fast! Our children lost, good values tossed Idols abound, keeps us in a choke! Excesses, extreme shape our lives The Golden Rule, now a corny joke! A simple guide to can heal our earth-disregarded Yet, in spite of all these, God will have the final say When wars and storms sweep across our earth Leaders ignore the hour at hand Perhaps, the last to stand as men To right the wrongs of history past And re enact laws to seal the cracks! Potent winds arising, already on track Remember, love for man and nature will heal this earth Yes, I believe, in spite of all these, My God will have the final say So let the politicians, argue, fight and scheme Let the liars, deceivers, play their games!” Let death merchants chant their evil anthem “It’s not a child, but a piece of flesh”! While the years like pages torn from a book All blowing away like dust in the wind Gone forever beyond eternity's veil! 'Too simplistic', some claim, that love's the remedy Yet, in spite of all these, I will fear no end, for My God will have the final say! ~*~

ON THE EXISTENCE OF GOD

What am I?*

Am I just matter?
Am I just spirit?
Or
Am I a combination of spirit and matter?

If we examine the first case- that I am matter-then
whatever I am, I have borrowed it from nature to
use for a while and then to return it in its totality for
to be used, once again, by something or someone else.

It is clear, therefore, that as far as matter is concerned,
what I am, already existed, in nature in a different form:
a fruit
a plant
a mineral
an animal
for
nature loves eternally its matter to recycle
since
the law of conservation of energy is applicable to
the whole of the world and it is everlasting!

Now, following the argument that we have established, we
have to agree that whatever is in the part is also in the total,
although
the totality of a thing could never be in a part of it.
in other words,
whatever a drop of water is, it is part of the water
contained in the ocean
but
the totality of the water in the ocean, could never be contained
in the drop of the water.

Having established this line of argument therefore, i.e,
whenever something exists in the part, it means that it
pre-existed in the total, otherwise the part could never be what it is
for it would have been, self-created , without any help from outside, thing
that we know to be impossible!

Now to continue the argument, a further step we have to take:
since I am what I am, materially always speaking, I realize
instantly that I am something more than matter
for
I am conscious of what surrounds me, moreover, I feel and
also I am thinking
For this to happen, certainly, it proves that something in the
universe, long time before me, was able to feel and also was thinking
otherwise
myself, as a part of the whole, could never had properties than were not
existed before I become alive and conscious enough to ask questions
like the ones I am asking now.

This reasoning then leads us to the conclusion that
the universe must have consciousness which means that it feels and
also it is thinking
therefore,
a being with properties that have been described above, is existing and
this being could be called God for God is the totality of things and as such
creates the world in his own image:
Matter and spirit that harmoniously collaborating and coexisting for
life to exist for a divine purpose that, eternally, unknown to us all
will remain!

JUST TO REGISTER

*The existence of God is a matter of faith! Either we believe or do not believe.
Myself I declare to be a strong believer!
There are five proves for the existence of God but all of them, logically, could be
refuted.
This one that I present here is my own proof! Its premise is that a part of nature
cannot have properties that are not found in the totality of things! Now man is part of the totality and has certain characteristics: Consciousness, feelings, thoughts and matter. That means that something in the universe which pre-existed Man must have these characteristics otherwise Man, who is just a part of the whole, could never had those properties, therefore, the being that possessed those characteristics before Man appears is GOD and it was HE who created Man in His own image as well all else that exists!

NOTE: I have studied philosophy in Canada at Concordia university I did my undergraduate studies and at Universite de Montreal, my post-graduate studies.
Here,I just wish to register my proof of God's existence in a brief form before I present it at an international congress of philosophy!
My purpose here is not to make anyone believe something that he does not wish to believe, although I wish all to believe in God! Thank you!

God's Holy Whisper of Love

God’s Holy Whisper of Love

I long to hear now God’s holy whisper of love,
For its sacrosanct sound abounds most high above.
This subtle soft tone mirrors forever God’s grace;
It maketh our souls one in His heavenly place.
God’s whisper reflects his love and passion in kind;
It’s His wish for poets to set them in true rhyme.
God’s whisper is our music on this mortal Earth;
It sustains our love spirit for holy rebirth.
Warm tears symbolize always our human passion,
As we seeketh God’s plan for His divine action.
God’s whisper sustains us true in all times of need;
He teaches that love conquers all, and we must heed.
God’s love shall be with us until the end of time;
He knoweth that poets shall set His words to rhyme!
