FORBIDDEN

~ZOMBIE NIGHT~

WHINING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair
Bones slowly desert distorted resting homes
Ascension of the dead -Longing to live again

Sands of desert flip the hour glass back
WHIMPERING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair
Bones slowly desert distorted resting homes

Taking light from where evil stays
Feeding away leaving behind a death valley zone
WONDERING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Moonlight vanishes to complete despair

Dead souls forsake the common land
Shadowing like Equinox light
Walking corpse covered in rotten barren sand
WINDY WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
Echoes of the dead roam the air

Upright, forward broken taboo
Searching for the perfect breath of fresh air
Sounds of symbols march the ground
Searching to find their missing heartbeat
WHISKING WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night

Ascension of the dead -Long to live again
Bones slowly desert distorted resting home
Moonlight vanishing in complete despair
Echoes of the dead roam the air
Rugged ruins crumble silent through the night
WHEN WHISPERS MOVE ACROSS FORBIDDEN LAND

On Halloween Night

I hear the October winds whispering and I think it knows,
as the witching hour arrives and a harvest moon glows,
only once a year, do we celebrate death on Halloween night,
it is a time for remembrance, and not a time for fright.

As dead leaves come to life, once more, somehow they know,
on the twisted claw-like branches, I see the excitement grow,
black bats take their flight and wise owls call out to you,
it seems strange, but I imagine that they all know, too.

I ask you now, my dearly departed ancestors, to arise,
come and dance with me, there is no need for disguise,
on this one dark, Halloween night, it is the only time,
when we can feel truly alive and so morbidly sublime.

Let me wipe away the ancient moss from your tombstone,
come forth with dust and decay, your shroud and bone,
feel the warm glow from this carved out jack o' lantern,
and watch his lit, grinning soul, may it flicker and burn.

You must still remember the candy corn's sweet flavor,
and those crisp apples, with juicy bite after bite to savor,
it is only on this night when we can taste this rare treat,
and it is only on this Halloween night when we can meet.

Tonight will not be your usual haunting among the graves,
or beneath the dead willow tree, weeping, shackled like slaves,
you are free to wander, to celebrate, and honor our past,
until the morning sun rises, on this Eve that will not last.

So come with me now and our spirits will live once more,
as we roam down our old streets, and visit door to door,
let us go, and lead them all in our mysterious nighttime parade,
where we can finally be ourselves, no need for a masquerade.

QUEEN OF THE DAMMED

An ancient evil is given life once more,
The heaven's cry out in pains remorse.
Daughter of darkness, deceits angel of death,
Beware unto mankind for bloods lustful temptress,
Speaking with a snakes fork tongue,
Nay she is a blackened cobra, spreading its hood,
Ready to strike, at the unguarded throat of humanity.
Legacy's malice, and hatreds decadence, bred this
Monster most deadly.
Frozen in stone, a cold heart beats, underneath
Lies the beast, with the face of innocence grace.
Nay a spawned creature from hell itself,
Awoken by loves vamperic bite.
Forsaken is she, the queen of the dammed,
For man are nothing more than cattle,
Raw meat to feast upon.
She'll strike with an unrighteous sword,
Slicing the very ocean itself in half,
It does so bleed with a crimson red,
As waves of bodies float unto the shore.
This is my kingdom of the dead,
Behold a birthing of a new world order,
Carved from mortal flesh and bone.
It's dawn arriving, beneath the full moons
Illumination, shall the sun never rise,
Within thus my deadened realm.
Her ivory white throne, built of human marrow
Drips with fresh redden over flow,
As she smiles with fiendish delight.
At twilight’s darkened hour, she'll dance upon
The graves of her ancestors,
For the Queen of the dammed has arisen.
Bow thee, and kiss her golden saddled feet,
She takes no prisoners, live and survive
At the goddesses leisure.
If you wish to stay, and see the
Final light of your kind to be extingusished,.
Say the Lord’s Prayer before
You go to sleep, this night my friend,
For tomorrows sunrise, may never
Light again against the distant horizon.

Halloween,Halloween

I shiver at the thought of being attacked by owls,
My home infested by Carols' pesky trolls,
A fire breathing dragon, flying around in the lobby,
Or a hand crawling around searching for it's body,
A hunchback with six eyes in his head,
Or zombies walking around calling themselves, the living dead,,,

I am scared of bats, turning into vampires,
Gorgons hopping around, throwing balls of fire,
Werewolves with scars,Chuckies with stitches,
And that big hairy bump on the nose of witches,
Blood running from the nozzle when I turn on the faucet,
Or skeletons and the Boogieman playing cards in the closet,,,

Right now i'm in a dark, dark room, hiding under the bed,
Features of my face growing taller, changing the shape
of my head,
Fingernails becoming fangs,eyes turning red,
GRRRR!!!it's HOLLOWEEN again,a night of feast
for the rising dead,,,

THE CATACOMBS

Deep beneath the busy streets of France,
Lies a hidden realm of the undead, cryptic tombs,
Of the ancient.
Dusty corridors, lined with skulls and cross bones,
An eerie tributes monument, for the once living,
Now deceased.
Sacred hallows of the darkness left behind,
Those not forgotten, but not remembered by
Names sake.
In these mazes called the catacombs, beware
The screams echoing, for within spirits seek out
The living, whispering enchantments of bewitchment.
Ever so lightly do finger tips touch, at thy naps of the
Back of ones neck, giving visitors an icy chill.
Gleaming eyes of crimson, seem to pierce through
The veils of night, seemingly to watch thee, the
Daring explorer, whom has traveled without
Supervised accompaniment.
Roaming at freedoms will do these creatures of
The supernatural, hunt in this arena of the undead
Lingering and feasting on souls whom do not
Realize there is no except from this ethereal
Mortuary.
There is no prayer or talisman charm for
Protection here, in this realm of the unknown,
Blessings virtue is lost amongst the tormented.
Stacked carcasses of human kind, decorate these
Chambers far below, beneath the city of romance
And mystic.
Yet in heaven angel's so do weep, for the lost
Souls never receiving salvation redemption,
Forever caught in limbo's dimension, do the
Unfortunate wander without mercy's hope.
For here God's everlasting light shall not penetrate,
Through the shrouded mists of darkness,
It thickness is to great, this vaporous mist of
Corporeal essence lingers in every shadows corner.
But I'll cry for them, a tear's grace, that maybe
One day they'll know the lord's final grace,
In these the forgotten catacombs.

Dr Death

He just stood there, Dr. Death, His black shroud from gray bones hanging; Siphoning water from the well Into a Grecian vial. It’s backwards flow; Pouring, endlessly pouring, A backwards faucet. Coolly, calmly, I sit and watch, His head turns toward me; A deadly blank stare Piercing into my very soul Come, he motions, A bony white gray finger, Summoning, calling me… No, I won’t go! A gentle breeze comes; I have no fear as I watch and feel The cool, wafting, breeze; I am calm. He’s coming towards me now, Long strides, gliding nearer… Nearer… I have no fear. I am calm. He motions for me again and again; No! I won’t come to you, Specter. Closer, closer, gliding still closer to me. No fear; Watching he stops; Bony long fingers touch my arm and I chill. Don’t take me now, Dr. Death!

yellow dress

if i woke up from
on the kitchen table
and saw her standing
there at the fridge
pouring tomato juice
into her bloody mouth,
wearing nothing
but that yellow dress
she cut in half
last halloween after walking
to the river where she
said the most beautiful things
about dancing with the moon
right before throwing up
something black & fleshy-pink
on the rock where i was sitting,
& we walked back to eat
a fried egg standing
next to the stove where
she would light her cigarettes
swigging shady ladys, silently
listening to my developing dissatisfaction
& some sort of lingering love,
if she was here right now,
staring blankly at flies buzzing,
i wouldn't be surprised,
even if it has been three years since she died.

The Old Man

Up on a hill there was an old house and in it lived Abigail, a young lady without a spouse. One day her doorbell rang and she went to the door. There stood an old man, his head to the floor. He appeared scared and weak so she let him come in, for if she didn’t it’d be a sure sin. The old man smiled and gave his thanks, and she said, “Not to worry, there’s no need to thank.” Abigail and the elder talked for quite a long time. Sharing story after story, and soon drinking wine. The two became very good friends and laughed, and laughed ‘til night came to end. When the next day dawned, they went for a walk, down at the pond they decided to stop. It was frigid and misty, but they enjoyed the stroll because their friendship was warmer than the wind’s dreadful cold. As they stood in front of the calm, cool pond, Abigail asked, “Where do you come from?” The old man laughed a deep, dark laugh, “I come from the boneyard, the place of last breaths. I am the man, which many name Death.” The creeping old man then pulled out a knife and slashed Abigail’s throat before she could fright. Her life left instantly, her body grew cold, and the elder’s smile sparkled like gold. The pond was hungry and the old man knew that Abigail’s corpse would have to go soon. He tied a brick to both of her feet and tossed her away into the deep. As her body sunk into the watery blue, the elder stood there and felt renewed. Back on the trail the aged man went. Not a worry in mind, no remorse ever meant. He did what had to be done, to the grave his soul belonged. The elder approached another ol’ house. He rang the doorbell and waited, innocent as a mouse.

Deadly Raven

Sitting atop the old decaying tree Is a deadly raven quite pathetic Where his lusting eyes do more than just see An unsuspecting group thinks they are free Raven thinks of a move that’s genetic Sitting atop the old decaying tree No-one knows what it’s like to truly be One of this group, death is just magnetic Where his lusting eyes do more than just see Down he swoops taking one soul completely Returns to tree, looking quite poetic Sitting atop the old decaying tree The raven smiles as he caws wickedly Soul collecting might be more aesthetic Where his lusting eyes do more than just see The raven flies high looking lustfully All that he’s collected that’s prophetic Sitting atop the old decaying tree Where his lusting eyes do more than just see

Hah Ha Hah Holloween Night

Fingers,the bones,
     Force through a casket,
A body appears,
     Or should I say,what's left,
Groans and moans,
      Earth bursting all around,
Covering my ears,
      Shutting out this horrible sound,
Countless dead,
      Raising from the ground,
In your chest,
Twice as fast your heart pound,
Searching for the living,
       This Halloween night,
Better not be caught,
It won't be a wonderful sight....

Creepy,scary,laugh,hah,ha,hah...

desiring the Vampire

It was the Southern French window blowing open
he came in the night no word spoken
The eyes so sensual and piercing me as if nothing matters
he is all I think of now as each day I grow weaker

I will soon die unsure of my fate
my life I will give to him a offering I ask him to take
This man so desirable with dark eyes and hair
even if he is not a man but a beast
I no longer care I submit to the last drop of blood

As I lay with a cotton white gown in a locked room
I throw my rope of Garlic far to be seen
Nothing can stop this now longing and lustful
feeling like I'm in a forever dream

I wait for him too enter
                       I wait for him
                                  willing to die
                               I wait losing my Religion

Halloween Me

As the fog rolled in it sighed a relief
As the color of sin is the same as belief
I looked in the glass of the old horror show
And staring back at me was a man I didn't know
He smiled and said my don't you look grand
Believe in yourself go ahead take my hand
I curled my toes and flew head first
Into this glass of truth and birth
The jagged edges cut me so
I bled the truth and now we know
This man that stared at me so kind
Was really the trick not the treat of my mind
I watched my past soak unto the spell
Of nightly tricks and treats from hell
We looked the same both him and I
We danced the blame of each others good lie
And now we both are ready to die
As the Halloween of death came near my eyes

THE HAUNTING

Entombed behind isolation walled
 Prison,
A haunting malice trapped me within.
Crouching beneath shadows shroud,
 Leering eyes pierce.
Through darkness’s pitch black,
 Covenant.
Pacing beast intercepting motions,
 Movements, mocking my,
Feeble attempts to evade frenzy's,
 Tormentor.
Deceptions deceiver, silver tongued,
Weaver, spewing lies deceit.
Intricately aligning it's widow,
 Makers webbing,
Feasting on innocence betrayal.
Heckling, laughter echoes, against,
 Dead reckoning.
A chilling appetizing, as if pleased,
 At malice’s intent.
Fiendishly, delighting in torturing,
It’s human pet.
A vacant mumbling feeling over,
 Comes reasoning,
A deeper anger begins to rage,
Rebelling against hatred’s,
Horrifying entity.
Motivated to survive beyond spectral,
 Captivity.
Hear my disgust, creature,
 I shall destroy thee.
Leave me alone, screaming aloud,
 Sanity's domain gives way.
In musty halls empty hollows,
 An odorous stench.
Fills mine senses,
Cease mortal miscreant,
 None leave here alive,
Shudders blood runs cold down raw
 Veins nerve endings,
A deepening realizations rushes,
 The conscious mind,
I'm deaths play thing.
To be pounced upon, a toy mouse,
 Caught between claws,
Extracting, retracting at whims invoking.
Invisible hands grasp choking life's,
 Breath away.
Feeling every heartbeat slowing,
 Quietly ceasing.
Stinging painfully ringing at ear,
Shots quivering,
Oblivion's mute murmurs never part,
Lips tightly closed.
Let mercy's fallen be forgiven,
 Released from,
Beyond hells hidden regions,
A place devoid of spiritual salvation.
Foul demonic spirit haunting,
 A madman's kingdom,
It whispers to me in sweet melodies,
 Aftershock.
Now we begin, and you truly belong to me,
With satisfactions grimace, it smiles.

The River home

It was a home on the river we lived .
It was the ghost of a young man whom had taken his own life.

I still remember the vision of him walking by me with a blank stare
We, as a Family of seven , moved into this river house
Panoramic views right out to the river , I should mention

I was home alone as a child , looking out at "The Julia Belle Swan " as she went by .
Upstairs in that room as I saw a figure walking by , with very nice features , auburn hair
I thought he was my older brother , a handsome young guy

Then I realized the young man was not my brother , a apparition he appeared .
He was not there to scare or frighten ,
the message I believe he wanted to shed light on, so clear.

He walked right by ,then disappeared through the window, out to the River .

The Ghost knew I could see him , a gift I have been given
when I was a younger child of five , I had once died for a short time. I was lifted by Jesus in Heaven . Death is not for us to decide .

Later in the years we moved from that home , every home we lived in had a story
or a presence of its own . My Mother had told me later , a young man took his life there .

Keep fighting your way through life and its despair ,
you are important to someone whom cares . If you feel alone and want life to end , Please pick up the phone , call anyone , call for help , call a Friend .

"This is not fiction , it truly is a gift I have been given "

The Damned

Her devilish eyes beat at me
taking flesh with every blow,her
rendered heart beat sounds like
tribal drum rolls an her skin
drips venom from its pores , I
find myself helpless and
paralyzed , everything else
seems trivial and meaningless
to this moment,..she exhales
smoke and lightning flows from
her finger tips ,she is the
antichrist the source of my
device, but I can't help but give
her my heart,I question my gift
but remain entranced caught in
her red moonlit ritual
dance, sight of her is blinding ,
she is what Every man desires
but can't reach, it feels like
heaven but I sweat from the
heat,the pain she inflicts is
bitter sweet an burns like salt
in a wound ,she is gods most
regretted creation born for the
night with a hunger that cannot
be fed, hold her down chain her
up she cannot be contained ,
pentagrams burn white in her
eyes,she's a shape shifting
voodoo angel that sleeps with
vipers ,yet I seek her and
desire her with every thread of
my existence and have turned
into an insomniac who day
dreams of her , cut by the
thorns of the rose she wears in
her hair , always the day of the
dead and raining razorblades,
the tree limbs reach out for my
embrace but every one of them
are shadowed with her face,I
close my eyes I can always find
her there , lay with her in the
ground every breath she takes
is sin ,she's a black rosé that
cannot be changed a black rosé
that cannot be contained ,
ashes to ashes dust to dust I
cut my heart to be with her and
bleed undying trust,it's only
her....everything else I feel is
not real .....

Born out of the moonlight

Every winters night I'm kept awake it seems, by the fainting ecos of my lovers screams forever filling the emptiness of my dreams.
Awakening within me the beast, with its eternal lust to drink and feast oh how I envy the deceased.
Given life's final pleasure of deaths final slumber, whilst I'm left here alone to wander.
Oh how I cursed and swore, when once more i bit and tore the delicate flesh of that human I adore.
It's burned forever into my memory, that night my lover was taken from me.
As the clouds cleared and moved from sight I bathed in the heavenly glow of the pale moon light, whilst an angel cried hast thou gazed upon such a calming night.
Calming indeed was it whilst in my human form, but as one well knows the calm comes right before the storm.
As the moons rays wrapped around my skin I felt the beast stir from within.
With one sharp pain in my chest so did begin this night of misery, as the transformation from man to beast happened almost instantly.
Detached now was my mind and soul from my body as I lost control like Alice tumbling down the black endless rabbit hole.
I was forced to bare witness to my claw as it tour open the entrance door like the rib cage of dear Eleanor.
Up the stairs I went in a frantic bound, moving swiftly without making a sound.
Opening the bedroom door my lover began to stir, upon the bed I lurched over her.
A small drip of drawl escaped over my teeth, it's touch woke my lover laying underneath, her eyes opened but her fright was brief.
Screaming at the beast who's control of my body was overpowering, as I could do nothing but watch it devouring the woman who's love for me had just began flowering.
And so since that night I lay cowering in my house who's rooms forever continue narrowing.
Empty though the house now lays, alone I am not, as within me the beast still stays.

Ethel Hurst 1889-1918

Ethel Hurst

1889 – 1918

I saw the town rise up
Like a single blade of grass after a spring rain.
I played a multitude of hop-scotch games
With my best friend Hannah on Penn Street.
And sipped a hundred ice cream sodas in the Mercantile at sunset.
My mother took me to Jacob’s Grocery every Monday
And it was I who picked the plump oranges
From the big rickety crate.
On Saturdays we worked the fields at Strong’s Ranch,
Harvesting the pampas in the walnut fields.
And on Halloween I was the girl in the moon-face costume for five straight years.
When Christmas brought its luminous lights to the town,
Mother dressed me in red with a bell on my bonnet.
And father sang the carols with a guitar and a tambourine.
I graduated from the big high school in 1907
And in celebration,
Rode my bicycle to Bassett
Still in my starched graduation petticoats.
Jesse Forbes,
He being five years younger than I,
Was the love of my brief stay on this earth.
But when he ventured to steal a kiss that day in Black Canyon,
I used my calloused hand to convey my stern disagreement.
But what wild regrets I’ve entertained since Jesse drowned that day.
In the wild currents by Pio Pico’s crumbling Adobe,
His body bobbing like a sea bird
In the punishing plume of that old deep river.
Beyond the muddy banks and the wild flowers,
Jesse Forbes left this life with a surprised frozen grin.
Why Jesse? Why?
You never knew the truth, my love.
You never really understood what I meant
When I said nothing.
I said No to you when I said nothing that day in Black Canyon,
But I really meant Yes.
The influenza incinerated my heart and soul
With a 106 temperature in the winter of 1918.
Twenty nine years I dare say
Is nothing in terms of eternal life!
I had so much more to do!
I had so much more to dream about!
I walked and talked on the streets of my town,
And on the funeral-dark avenues of my innocent days.
And I planned and I schemed
And all for nothing!.
Indeed, I felt the pulse of fleeting time
And the never-ending,
Ever-turning circle of endless days.
But now I rest here in Clark Cemetery… a virgin corpse
Flirting shamelessly with the bow-tie worms,
Still wild with regrets.
And forever haunted in reverse
By the same recurring memory
Of Jesse Forbes holding a rose.
Under the old oak tree in Black Canyon..

Uncle Mel

The clock ticked at nine in the evening of July
When I lay on the bed in the silence of the night
Trying to fall asleep but something's bothering
A feeling interfered and started shivering

My eyes were almost closed when I heard a noise
Slowly getting louder; what a frightening voice?
It's knocking on my door like there's something wrong
Breathing stopped; heartbeats like never before

I paused in indecision while holding the door knob
From the window the wind blows; atmosphere's intense
As I opened the door, I almost killed a man
Uncle Mel is on the house; a blushed of surprise

He asked if Dad's around and seemed a need inside
I wondered that he looked liked exhausted and too tired
Yet, I answered him in an awkward style
Then he left me with a feeling of strange and fright

I went back on my bed feeling weird and crazy
I have just made a ghost; an illusion of fear
I let it out of me since nightmares are greedy
The more we think of terror, the more it eats our dream

The morning waved hello; everything's fine
I got off my bed to start the day right
Then I saw my Mom packing and dealing with some stuffs
She's crying and leaving to town

Questions I'd asked to know what's going on
At the tip of her tongue but to utter's arduos
I calmed her down and her story has begun
About an innocent man who died the night I got wild

It was an evening in July, nine on a dot
When the man got stabbed stopping a fight
Calling my dad's name; looking for help
Dead on the spot and found no aid

Goosebumps all over when I heard the news
It's Uncle Mel who passed away and visited my room
Never knew all the reasons behind the apparition
One thing's for sure, He's soul still calls

HALLOWEEN NIGHT

Let me chase that naughty witch
on the flying, wooden broom...
causing havoc and gloom,
that's why she's super rich
robbing any unlit house watched by a raccoon
and laughing she bypasses the orange moon.

Ugly and treacherous witch, you won't admit
that you steal candies from children's bags without a rip,
but proof is on your rotten teeth yellowed by sweets...
doesn't their cry move you enough to return their treats?

Why would a witch on a flying, wooden broom
steal and hide goodies in the darkest castle room,
where the empty caskets of vampires lay?
Have you seen the blood stains earlier in the day?

Fly over pumpkin-lit graveyards while Death looks for skeletons
to hang on trees to celebrate the eerie Halloween night...
keep away from such an horrifying place infested with bats;
fly faster, fly higher before darkness becomes light!

The Final letter

Dear Lover...

I struggle to gulp
the scorn you poured.
My mouth parched,
desperate for a sip of your love.
A taste of your lips.

Your engagement- an abomination.
Our relationship still floods
the plains of my memory.
Surges storming in my inner soul.
Questions bamboozle my mind.

So, your affection was a mere hoax.
I, the halloween freak?
Your tender touch, in fact a thump?
Our turgid, rose in bloom.
A flaccid, comatose weed?

I cherish our unending summertime.
I crowned, knighted& sainted
your passion.
And you scorn me?
My Love, make no attempt to flee.
I will find you, her and your fragrant bliss.
A reeking carcass I will leave.

The pathetic yearning for the
warmth of your suave flame,
Is dead.
And the need to draw blood,
Resides.

 ...with love,

Your Real Bride.

Flying Witches

Our searching eyes, and how they spy,
Hunting children from the sky
Our hungry hearts, for blood doth cry!
To quench our throats long parched and dry
O'er many Moons have read our runes
Cursed our Foes to meet their doom
Killed the swine atop our brooms-
And sent the youth to early tombs

Culbertson Mansion: The Carriage House

When all the paying guests had gone,
I broke in there one Halloween.
I thought at first it was all fun,
Then realised just what I’d seen.

The noises, smells and awful sights
Had made my blood run cold with fear:
The mangled, tortured bodies dead,
But even worse was Webb’s cold leer.

He neared me, instruments in hand,
And told me what he planned to do:
Experiments to make me scream,
He’d even thought up something new.

I tried to run but couldn’t move,
So spat into the doctor’s face,
‘You’re dead, you have no power now.
‘Go back to Hell and leave this place.’

The victims’ bodies faded then,
I prayed and cried and shook with fright,
The knives and blood all vanished too,
And Harold Webb was gone from sight.

Army of The Walking Dead

People tell me can you hear
those dark forces drawing near?

On this shadowed shard of night
traveling through the stench and blight.

These undead in wrapped attire
creeping through the murk and mire.

Ghastly in their evil space
slimy torso,dripping face.

Their intent's to see you dead
so they can eat your limbs and head.

Then you'll return as one of them
to cause murder and mayhem.

All Hallows Night

     All Hallows Night

It’s a dark wicked night
When the spirits alight
From graves and tombs, to wander
Tis the brave that go out
The strong and the stout
Whose sanity they risk to squander

The ghosts and the ghouls
Are out for those fools
Who roam, for trick or for treat
With every step bidden
Dark forces are hidden
Madness, they’re certain to meet

This is the night
Dead come out to fright
The release of the former deceased
Vengeance they seek
Mayhem to reek
Their passage to heaven increased

Heads revolving clockwise
Revenge in their eyes
To drag you down to catacombs
Once you are there
They’ll strip the soul bare
Inflict on you ten thousand dooms

So before you die
Look into the eye
Of those, that have done you wrong
Remind with a smile
You’ll be back in a while
“Hell’s waiting, I won’t be long. (Mhuahahaha)”

Red Eyed Skeleton

The front seat of my car lies a skeleton Sitting there waiting on me to come inside Red glowing eyes looking like a fire beacon He laughed at me when I saw him, I sure cried All around the car are jack-o-lantern heads So very evil they are the dark undead Powers of these pumpkins brought alive these bones Waiting on me to come, fearfully alone

Alive

Something as awakened you,
your bed is soft and silky too.
You start to feel around,
side to side, up and down.
Then, you freeze,
screaming inside your mind.
Your mouth has been sutured shut,
seems you have been buried alive.

Graveyard at Night

Into the graveyard I walk all alone Save the spirits that follow me at times The gravestones show dates that are very old Seems the church saw me and begins its chimes All at once the ground does begin to shake And up the ghosts and spirits come to fright They scare me nearly to death, fly at me My fellow spirits join them with their might I run and hide behind an old dead tree But the owl gives up my true whereabouts And they all plow right through my lost being Fear brings out my soul and I start to shout I’m torn from my body, flowing around They now force me into the ground alright Into the depths of hell to burn always Because I entered the graveyard at night

Woman in a Graveyard

The lonely woman walks through the graveyard She feels like she’s within a crazy ward Skeletons rise, frighten her completely She thinks she chose her way incorrectly Zombies come to her looking for fresh food She fears this event is not looking good She hears dark noises coming from the sky Then she sees witches flying way up high Just before the skeletons grab her neck She screams at all the ghosts that call and beck They converge at once to tear her apart Just orange is what she sees at this part Pain envelopes her as she finds her soul It’s ripped out of her, she now sees their goal

Cemetery Ritual

On an eerie and foggy Halloween night A couple enters a dark graveyard with fear Hearing noises of a ritual tonight Knowing that demons and skeletons are near A sacrifice of a virgin is their goal The demons hearts are really black as coal Raising the fierce zombies up, they do attack The couple turns and runs never to look back
Russell Sivey, Form: Rispetto
The eerie fog is even denser now; Our couple wander, praying to get home, But find themselves inside a wizard’s lair; He’s chanting from a heavy, dusty tome. He raises rotting corpses, smelling foul; They grab the couple, bite and tear to kill; Our heroes die, then hear the wizard‘s voice, And rise to serve him too, against their will.

DANCE OF THE BOOGEYMEN(An unusual Halloween hors d'oeuvre)

Twirling around and around in the Night Sphere
Creepy eyes that scream out for a Partner in Loungerie
Two
plus 2
6 and then Twenty
The Boogeymen of the night
Catching the souls of the departed in flight
Sending them to the loneliest corner of Hell
With a Dunce Cap on every head that read:
HERE YOU ARE STUPID..AMONG THE ZOMBIES AND THEIR DEAD
A quiet empty trio of fools who did not play it cool while they were alive
Who refused to submit to the booze, the Pot,and all that Open Up Jive
Sweethearts on the dance floor where the Dead party all without a smile
Takes us back to that Halloween Trick or Treat town,at least for a little while
Mothers swing their Fathers
The Grim Reapers do their do-si-do
Harper Valley 1-800-NEXT-OF-KIN
Biting Teeth on a Harker Jonathan
Sipping blood with a grinning Mina
She is lovely in that shade of dead
Vein vessel blood all around her neckTAR and thy Head
Here in the ram shackled Studio 50 for DEAD
Dancers are the Boogeyshoes
With one eye alive and the other socket popped out
Sleep Deadly tonight Beneath the full moon and the Tango of cold Harvest Fright

RAVENOUS ELDRITCH WRATH a collab with Olive Eloisa Guillermo

RAVENOUS ELDRITCH WRATH

The darkening skies in choir of wrath;
The wind brisk banging blows;
The withering of trees;
The falling twirling leaves;
The branches sudden irate tweak and split.

Giving way to the rushing threat of death
Will another candle die in it's final flicker of light?

From afar

High hasty orisons a gong in melancholic play
Voice of mournings didn't save the day
Only shrills that echoes in elevated ebb

Sullen faces white as powdered chalk
Sprung to view when moon casts its glow
Bloodshot eyes a plague ready to pierce and blow
Dark coloured lips close and open to rumble slow:

"Sacred candles. sacred flames. Aid the magic I name.
sacred candles. sacred flames. Aid the magic I name."

Again and again they chant-
As they go round and round
Stopping awhile to kneel
Then raise their hands up in the air.

[their shadows sleek as serpentine hiss
casting chills in the catacombs' wall]

On the centre...

A blindfolded lady in white hangs on logs of X
Her tied arms spread left to right
Her legs set apart but truss tight

Down to where the log stands
A black man half-naked in mask holds a whip
Slashing it side by side in quick thunder thudding trips

A quietness abounds as the chanting stops
This eerie eldritch silence eating into the night
She of the above allows rays to glisten:
"Moon of the dark, tranced faces listen"

I of the numbered, tattooed, scribed, scored
Command you to stand, heathens, my horde!

Silence is shattered by the cracking of his whip
Lacerating white linen, now in reddened seep
Cries turn to howls, the beating of this beast
Joyous dancing tongue, rasping at this feast

Faces now morose. Excitement high! Incite
Darkened desires in crave, this mooned night
Slowly he walks towards this writhing tethered
Taken, she will be forsaken. Feathered!

His hands against the X, his face leans
Asp tasting, touching drawing red
Dressage of white, now cast, her flesh
Hungered, undaunted, heathens chanting

"Sacred candles. sacred flames. Aid the magic I name.
sacred candles. sacred flames. Aid the magic I name."

Now taken, clouds drift amidst cobalt blue
An empty soul lies listed, under darkened hue
Spores now carried, bedded, soon they'll born
Every one a number, forever they'll adorn
Heathens, oh! chanting ones, bow, now sworn

I of the numbered, tattooed, scribed, scored
Bow, chant, blindfolded, taken, your now adored.

Freak Show

Hello? Hello? Is anyone here? I am here for the “Freak Show”. Fine don't come out. If you can't see yourself in a mirror, Come here Come here. If you don't fit in, Come here Come here. If you're full of terror, Come here Come here. If your made of tin, Come here Come here. Cause it's time, it's time, for the Freak Show, To unleash their wild pack, To come out of a shack, To show your wild side, To show you won't bite. Cause it's time for the Freak Show, To come out from the dark, To do your freaky march, To come unrap, To lay down flat. It's time for the Freak Show. Down here we don't judge, We don't care if your fudge, If you have flames, Or even fangs, If your made of fur, or if you purr, Come down for the Freak Show. 30 seconds on the clock, Those hands go tik tok, It's almost time for halloween night, Get ready for a real fright! Just scare those kids, Into little bits, I'm sure they won't mind, It isn't a crime, Invite them inside, For a little surprise, You are supernatural, Or even bichemical. WELCOME HOME.

Death's Hand

Smell of burnt wood is wafting in the air Creating tears within my tender eyes House is in the graveyard, is oddly real Scary is its presence with no disguise It’s frightening that it’s so dark outside Only jack-o-lanterns flooding the porch An eerie otherworld light from above Centered right on the front door with a lurch There are some sounds of chains moving and howls Wandering through the graveyard on this night Halloween makes me tremble with great fear They appear in front of me, what a sight Ghouls and ghosts, with the vampires and werewolves All show up wanting to tear me apart But I don’t want any of this, I run I go straight in the creepy house, I dart As I go in the creatures outside leave As if knowing something worse is inside So I look by the light of the pumpkins Right there is death himself right by my side His bone hand reaches out and touches me And I feel quite cold, thus I start to freeze Death extinguished me and before I go I hear a woman scream, she’s very pleased

Black Evil Pumpkins

Three pumpkins, just sitting there, are lit up Seemingly harmless to many children But far from the happy pumpkins they seem The pumpkins take more than what is given These black evil pumpkins stay on porches Looking quite innocent with their calm eyes But deep inside are the souls of witches Awaiting children that come in disguise Then with her spells she converts them to frogs And in the process steals their souls this way Laughing can be heard inside the pumpkins Striking fear into all the frogs that run away Many children are lost in the pumpkins Remaining tortured souls of the old witch Her dark power grows with each soul she takes Again Halloween goes without a hitch

THE VOICES OF SALEM

Through the whispering pines,
Down the rolling hills,
Beneath the moons illumination,
Hear them calling, the voices of Salem.
From the cold ground, vengeance’s spirits,
Seek justices revenge.
Innocent blood, beseeching the truths,
Knowledge to be told.
Whom are their judges, honest man,
Nay corruptions greedy thieves.
Land mongers, mongrels seeking
To feast upon the down trontan, and poor.
Witches are they, marked by the devils
Own imprint of evil.
Yet in reality simple farming folk, toiling for
A better life, caught in a webbing of deceits lies.
Be accursed generations whom with hold,
What was done unto them.
For God's wrath shall be swift and without
Mercy.
In the winters solstice, as the season of death
Takes center stage.
Unmarked tomb stones lie disturbed, by
Ghostly images, cryin out for their atonement's
Liberation.
Ancestral names held on bondage’s list,
Without resolutions resolve.
The innocent retain the stains
Of legacy’s branding mark.
The shackles of history, hold these
 Spirits hostage,
Release these souls, dearest lord, most high,
Let the honest know freedoms cleansing air.
Write the wrongs done unto them,
Let the voices of Salem be silent at last.
To rest in peace forever, along side their
Beloved kindred.
In the sacred earth of their mother church,
With blessings words spoken ever so softly,
Over them.

The Spirit of Ruby Anne

This was written for Halloween :P

A silent, roaming apparition
Was the wife of a physician
While away on a mission
He married a magician
Without permission
His volition
Sliced open
His wife's
Heart.

The wife never loved another man
Poor, broken-hearted Ruby Anne
She died one day in Cheyenne
Now, everyday, you can
See where it began
Ruby Bouman's
Spirit will
Never
Die.

The messenger

Raven, flying through the night
bringer of everlasting rest
against his word you must not fight

Works for the one who takes the light
the one who knows what time is best
raven, flying through the night

For although his words may bite
to you he flew from his nest
against his word you must not fight

Through his master's strong might
he can speak to the smallest pest
raven, flying through the night

His master sends him to the site
and though you think I jest
against his word you must not fight

While I sit here, this I write
he is perched on my shoulder cawing with zest
raven, flying through the night
against his word I must not fight

Chasing Shadows

The corner of my eye sees shadows, floating through the night air
Only yellow eyes, upon their face of Death, no heart ,no soul
Curiously, I follow the Shadows of Death, to my Home;
Lights on. Fireplace going, it looks warm, but colder than ice
Faceless spirits, flying in the darkness of Death ; carry me
Jack-o -Lanterns lit with the flames of Hell, keep Satan alive
Still I follow. Seeking my destiny, is Death really “ Warm “?
I enter on stage of Shadows, where I think “I once Belonged”
Tears have eyes of Evil, with no mouth or tongue , so deceitful
I take a breath; is this my Death, to always follow shadows
Mere wisps in the wind, dead Dreams, in the darkness of Halloween

                  Happy Halloween my fellow Soupers

A Skeleton's Love

You’ll stay in my heart
Until death do us part
When the worms eat you out
And I’m buried in the ground

In the dirt with you I’ll lay
And forever and ever that’s where I’ll stay
I’ll remain by your side
Until with angel wings we fly

Life will never get dull
With you in my skull
You’ll never be alone
You will not face death on your own

You’ll stay in my heart
Until death do us part
When the worms eat you out
And I’m buried in the ground

The Children Of The Streets 3 (2008)

This poem is of gross content and viewers are warned of such.
This is written for the children, none of us knows the sufferings they must endure
by the hands of their captors. Let their voices be heard in the night. Do not
turn a blind eye just so you can attempt an escape from reality. Listen for once and maybe
one child will be safe in the night.
Wickedness lives in our world and children will continue to suffer by their hands
unless we the responsible take charge of our responsibilities and keep watch
over them, That is our solemn duty, do it right.
For the sake of the children.

Tonight I search for tasty treats
All the lovely children of the streets
They are everywhere walking
Alone, serene
I'm going to love this Halloween.
.
   Hello there children, lovely night
Don't grip your bags of candy so tight
Smile my sweet
Have fun, lets play
Tomorrow you will not see the day.
.
Try not to be frightened, all is well
Although you think that you are in hell
Come here my love
Lets dance, lets sing
I am going to do everything.
.
   Tommy, you and Sarah play
On top, yes right, that's the way
Does it feel good?
Isn't this sweet?
This is wonderful, EAT YOUR MEAT!
.
Did that hurt? Well lets try it like this
There my dear now this is bliss
I love you Tommy
So smooth, so soft
I'll leave you to sleep here in the loft.
.
   Oops, I'm sorry, Tommy died
Come here Sarah, you'll be the bride
Touch me there
Thats right lets taste
Turn around love while I hold your waist.
.
Do not worry love, it's supposed to bleed
This is how two now become three
Oh well, too bad
You didn't last long
Your cries, your whimpers were lovely song.
.
Now will I sleep amongst the dead
While sweetened thoughts dance through my head
Until next years Halloween
The night will bring me beautiful treats
All the lovely children of the streets.

Asylum of the Damned
Inhabited by psychos
In padded rooms they’re crammed
For reasons no one knows

Decrepit walls of grime
Protect the world outside
Inmates pass the time
In their own minds they reside

Eerie creaks from metal beds
Resonate through the halls
Screaming voices in their heads
Ignoring demon’s calls

Insanity a state of mind
Brought on by lifelong stresses
Only made worse by the confined
Their illness just progresses

Walls pitch black and burned
From a past horrendous fire
Condemned souls here returned
Roaming their eternal pyre

Witchcraft

Down by the forest's edge at night
she dances as her auburn hair wildly glows
Then she steps out into the pale moon light,
so the night creatures can see the show.

Tiny Fairies quietly watch as she brings
her steaming cauldron to a boil
Spirits cry and then the bell she rings
as she whisper her chant of toil.

Misty fog the woods it does grace
as she is sealing in the circle with salt.
The fire's glow lights up her intense face
but let not Ye be caught.

Even the wise old owl says not a word
a frog's eyes, a bat and a dead man's bones
A few roots, a newt and a wing of a bird
a rumbling sound and a lot of groans.

From the ground her dead lover he does rise
welcoming him with such passion and a kiss
For each time her soul is filled with sweet surprise
for the one she has missed.

Halloween Night

Halloween Night 8/25/12

Night is coming fast,
I really want this night to last,
Halloween...Halloween,

Ghost, ghouls, muppets, angels,
Little witches practicing their spells,
Halloween...Halloween,

Graveyards appear off roads,
Cobwebs string along lumpy toads,
Halloween, Halloween,

Fog comes from no where,
Frankenstein and Dracula want your blood,
What, are you scared?
It's Halloween, the dead emerge, runnnnnnnn

Amy Winehouse and Jack Daniels come hand in hand,
The show with Ray Charles with Zombie Winehouse in high demand,
Audience drinks mugs of tropical blood,
Werewolf from Paris flies in to make life undone,
Dario Argento takes notes for cool effects,
He sits away from the demons, of all, he knows them best.

For those stuck at home,
Pass out candy to a few drones,
Tinkerbell blesses you with glitter,
Mary Poppins has to mark this moment on twitter,
Jason would rather just cut your throat,
So be nice, give him the basket, try not to choke,
The Crazy 88s are Halloween neighborhood watch,
Looks like Andre the Giant just kicked one in the crotch,

It's midnight now, the carriage now a pumpkin,
Prince is mad, no kiss tonight, skins a lump again,
Concert was a success,
Candy is gone, no more stress,
Scared to sleep now, the best comes during rest....

Forgotten Samhain

Let’s celebrate the thinnest of the veil!
Reunite with long lost family and friends
and take one last chance to make our amends,
on the night the worlds’ barrier is frail.

But when is this magic night to occur?
Some say it’s during Scorpio’s Full Moon
or the sun’s post allows us to commune.
Others claim Halloween causes the blur.

If we could ask the first ones that observed,
they would surely tell us the correct night
to build the bond fires and keep them alight.
How do we ask when the veil is conserved?

Retribution

Rising from the shallow graves
Illuminated by moon’s glow
Spirits awaken to misbehave
To get revenge from long ago

She was sent to an early death
Deprived of opportunity
Translucent yet not lacking breath
From death she has impunity

Her ghostly tale will be passed on
In whispers carried in the breeze
Whomever she may come upon
Will be transformed by what they see

On Halloween Night

          On Halloween Night
A slight hollow snapping noise crept up from down below
Barely audible above torrential rain and lightning
Seeping through the walls into my gloomy room
A power outage turned the mansion black as death
A candle and one match was all I had to investigate
To navigate this mystery
The crackling sound grew louder
As I trembled, fell down the flight of stairs
Head hitting concrete there
Red blood spilling everywhere
The basement became confused and changed
An eerie form of horrors took its shape
A structure not found or known in heaven or on Earth
Came into view, from what could be surmised, an opening
An unholy hole from hell itself
Before my crying eyes appeared right there
Some multi legged smelly creature lurking by the portal, came whizzing in
Another foul being emerged from darkness into this twilight zone
Slithered without a word in my direction
My candle had gone out
The filthy obnoxious thing, grabbed me with icy slimy claws
By the red light of hell's burnt tortured soulless glow
I saw the monsters bulging green and moldy eye up close
As it cracked my bones and dragged me down
Mystery solved at last
At least I found the clues and cause of these events
First detected in my gloomy room
A slight hollow noise which crept up
From down below on Halloween night
And my bones still make that very same sound forever through the house

Stranger at Halloween

On this Halloween night
A stranger came to my home
My parents invited him in
From his cold nightly roam

I hear them talking
As he comes every year
My father distraught
My mother in tears

He stays for a while
As they chat away
Sometimes they laugh
But, mostly it's grey

Its hours later
As i hear the front door
This stranger has gone
Just like the years before

I'm older now
And as curious as can be
As i follow the stranger
Down a dark local alley

In the distance i see him
To the cemetery he heads
This night of all nights
To the place of the dead

Brave as i am
To follow him there
Its as far as i go
From a distance I'll stare

He disappears
Into the mist
As i head off home
My question is wished

Mum and dad
Who was that man
He comes every year
For a chat and a dram

Son, the man who left
Died so long ago
During World War II
At Scapa Flow

He can never rest
For his soul is forsaken
The loss of his colleagues
In the war were taken

On October 14
1939
The crew of his ship
In torpedo assign

A German U-Boat
The U47
Delivered it's load
And sent them to heaven

He's a lost lonely soul
Who stayed in this house
For he always returns
To his loving young spouse

That's the story
On this Halloween eve
Of this tragic young man
And his roaming grieve

Shadows Beneath Me

                                     A spirit appears at night,
                                       showing its cold eyes,
simply glaring at it in fright,
                                    a memory I couldn't erase,
for that spirit had my face.

                                      With its red eyes glows,
                                  it disappears from the shadows,
even when I was walking at night,
                                     no man, woman or child,
but feel that same presence behind me,
but there was no one in sight.

even though I continue to walk,
I can feel a cold chill beneath my feet,
that spirit only appears in the shadows,
not a speck of moonlight or a single spark,
enjoying itself hiding in the dark.

                                    it rises beneath the ground,
                                       showing its ugly frown,
with its eyes looking dead at me,
                                        beware the shadows,
                                    for it's never been foreseen,
                                       beware in the night,
                                      because it's Halloween.

floridian nightmare

                  (5/12/11)

The spirits of the dead were flying all around
All you could hear was a screechy eerie sound
The coffins and bodies were taken and thrown into a ravine
One on top of another was all that could be seen.

A worker had notified the authorities of what had taken place
The news media heard of it and said it was a disgrace.
Loved ones came running as they heard of the news
Of how their loved ones had been abused.

Many people have said that they see the spirits
Searching each grave
Looking for a marker of where they once laid.
The people walking their dogs very late at night
Telling of a screaming as their dogs jump with freight.

Now this is a true story and not a Halloween tale
Till this day you could hear the spirits wail.
You can hear the wailing more on Halloween night
As the other spirits join and scream of their plight.

OCHSA and Poetry

At OCHSA, in poetry class today
a dead body lay on the floor
and hungry starved commercial dancers
came in to feast.

Crunching on the toe nail chips
drinking in the eyeballs
feasting on the spaghetti and meatball hair
slipping on the soup of tongue.

Ripping at the flesh
like carnivorous dinosaurs of old
feasting on fallen herbivores
nummy, slurp, gulp.

I walked in on the middle of this fray
only bones were left,
aww, poor people
We really shouldn't feed the lions
but maybe commercial dancers are the exception!

a/n: this was written for a Halloween contest at OCHSA but they told us no zombies and ect
so this is what happened! Yes commercial dancers can be scary when they are hungry enough!

I'm Sorry

I didn't mean to I swear
It was an accident no doubt
That Halloween night
We both went out

It was supposed to be fun
And cause a terrible fright
To those who walked by
On an innocent night

Turns out it did scare
But in a different way
I hope you can forgive me
For what I did to you that day

I was a cowgirl
I didn't know it was loaded
We were playing around
The whole thing exploded

She lay on the ground
It must be her fate
I called for help
But it was too late

I killed her that night
With a backfiring gun
I shouldn't have given it to her
But I can't fix what I've done

I just thought I should say
Goodbye to you all
I'm going to find her now
I've learned pride comes before a fall

I know you've been hurt
I've done this to you
I'm doing what I can
This is what I can do

I'm going to find her
And make sure she's okay
Make sure she's happy
I'm going today

I'm raising the gun
Putting it to my head
I'll die like she did
God, take me instead
