Groundswell Girl - Named by JB

Enter a storybook tale
Where I can be
The heroine you hail
Lucid dreams of soft reflection
A touch heated with lust and desired protection
A breathe a gasp as we succeed
Join the fairytale with me
Valiant night within dark eyes
the right movement and I make them shine
like moonlight on the steamy hot spring
care to follow for a little dip with me
Trailing like the water at my fingertips
Grasp me around my hips
As close as the breeze on my skin
Whisper lies as I let you in
Lips mumbling up my thighs
bare heart exposed to the sky
fire burning in my veins
Am I a mistress of this lust or simply a slave
Trembling with desire
Take me till we've lost count of the hours
enter this storybook tale
Where I can be the heroine you hail

Redneck Angel

Redneck Angel
Lyrics By Robert Taylor

A thousand cases of beer
Hangin’ with Jack all night
Sleeping with women from a bar
Not knowin’ their names when I woke

Then I saw your eyes in the dark
Sitting alone in the bar
An Angel from heaven sent
Dressed in Daisy dukes
And red hot cowboy boots
You’re a backwards miracle

I walked over and talked to you
Just hoping that you were real
We talked and then we kissed
Spent our time together
Drinking, dancing and talking the night away
How could God have so blessed
A poor assed Redneck boy like me.

I saw you down at the swamp
Wearing plaid, with mud in your hair
You were a redneck angel from heaven
Dressed in Daisy Dukes
And red hot cowboy boots
You’re a backwards miracle

Then I gave my heart to you
At the Antioch Baptist Church
Vows given without fear
My love is yours forever
I looked at your eyes through your veil
And you were crying with happiness
You were a Redneck angel from heaven
Dressed in daisy dukes
Red hot cowboy boots
You’re a backwards miracle

How could God have so blessed
A poor assed redneck boy like me.

Hiding but always in plain sight
Drinking, fishing, mud bogging
Things a girl shouldn’t do
How could you be who you are
Sharing my love and my life

How could God have so blessed
A Redneck like me.

An angel from heaven sent
Dressed in Daisy Dukes
Red hot cowboy boots
You’re a backwoods miracle

The Cowboy and Beelzebub

Off to the Church this Cowboy went For Sunday to him was Heaven sent But as he took to his pew Suddenly into their view Beelzebub, he, now present Imagine the screaming now starting To the exits they're simply departing But this Cowboy remains Against Beelzebub's deign Oh the odours of the leaving farting To the Cowboy, Beelzebub says In a broken down language display Are you frightened of me Am I stronger than thee Not really, who do you think you portray For Satan I am, but you never have fears No matter what I say, leaves you no tears So simply, what can it be That your not scared of thee I've been married to your sister for years .

Life of sin

Life of sin

It's really doubtful that I will die in bed
Most likely I will be shot through the head

I've spent my whole life wallowing in sin
It's a lead pipe cinch that I'd do it over again

I might even get to stand at the pearly gate
But somehow I think they will make me wait

St Peter will read from his sin tally book
Hopefully a few he might overlook

The reading would take most of a week
Getting into heaven looks pretty bleak

I imagine that I will burn in eternal hellfire
I'll regret not hearing the celestial choir

The Devil has always been my consort
All plans for heaven I'll have to abort

The Revelation

"I saw heaven standing open
and there before me was a white horse…"

Revelation 19:11

I’ve talked to many a good man
facing his own end
And pretty much they all wonder
about the same thing
Will passing thru that final gate
put an end to things we love
Will we all hang up our cowboy rigging
when we see the dove.

And, well I’ve begun to wonder
when I’m called before the throne
And stand and face my deeds on earth
and do my best to atone
As I stand there in Stetson hat
and rusty, bent spurs
Will I be bunched with the righteous
or will I be corralled with the curs.

But, then I’m a wondering,
what about my way of life?
Will I still be a cowboy,
will my way be filled with strife?
Will I have to sell my saddle?
Will I give up my puncher ways?
If I can’t cowboy,
how will I fill up my heavenly days?

But, then I remember reading in Revelation,
chapter 19, eleventh verse
And my heart is filled with happiness,
ain’t no reason now to curse.
Cuz the good book tell us all,
we’ll be cowboying up in paradise
Riding herd for the real King Ranch,
punching cows and doing right.

Cus it’s written in the Bible,
you all can now stay the course
“I saw heaven standing open
and there before me was a white horse”
So, I’ll grab my old saddle
and swing it up on that critter's back
And ride that heavenly range forever,
me, that white horse and my old kack.

Matters of life and death

MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH
Isn’t life short, today here tomorrow gone.
Switching the world off, turning eternity on.
How many before us, in the world have lived?
Just in a short while, to embrace their grief.
Many sort and earned great treasures
Many lived chasing around pleasures.
One moment masters of the world,
The next buried corpses in the ground.
Once celebrated figures of glory,
Now buried skeletons of history.
As many a poor men stagger upon wealth,
Just as many rich, succumb to poor health.
In the end we are all prisoners with no say.
We are all dogs waiting for our day.
Life is a dark winter seldom warmed by cups of tea.
And everyone is but a tiny fish lost at sea.
We may prosper here and conquer there,
But soon our strengths and efforts wear.
If you are lucky, it’s just you and a few friends,
By your bed side as your life ends.
Life is like a painful recurring bee sting,
Which you will pass down to your offspring.
you leave in them your blood and with them your name.
They believe their time is better, but its all the same.
They don’t see that the future is but a deck of cards
And you can only play the hand dealt in your hands.
Some are born to wear gold watches and to live in mansions.
Some are born to poverty and the consolation of sacred songs.
The rich man’s heaven Is drinking wine in hotels by the beaches.
As the poor man in his hell, waits upon his resurrection to riches.

Cowboy Heaven

John Wayne will be there
and the steaks will be rare,
in Cowboy Heaven;
And the Posse will be – not gunning for me
- in Blue Yonder sky

The saloon’s never dry,
it’s all free - you don’t buy,
in Cowboy Heaven;
Three fingers of rye, no more patch on my eye
- in Blue Yonder Sky

I’ll be riding off into the sunset,
Saddled up on my trusty old steed
But my permanent ‘get out of jail’ card,
guarantees that by dawn I’ll be freed

The Good Sheriff will be
on the lookout for me,
in Cowboy Heaven;
Keeping injuns at bay,
sending snakes the wrong way
 - in Blue Yonder sky

My horse just won’t care,
‘cos them spurs won’t be there,
in Cowboy Heaven;
He’ll be swishing his mane
on the tumbleweed plain
- in Blue Yonder Sky

There’ll be pictures of me
nailed on every tree,
in Cowboy Heaven;
But there’ll be no reward ,
cos’ I’m loved by my Lord
 - in Blue Yonder Sky

All the good guys in white,
and fightin’ the good fight,
in Cowboy Heaven;
What a place it will be -
and the Whiskey’s on me
- in Blue Yonder Sky

cowboys in heaven

just the other day
my young son
out of the blue
as me
dad he says
dad are there cowboys
in heaven

well i thought
what do i do?
so i tippet back my hat
and said son i
know the answer to that

yes there are cowboys in heaven
they ride herd over the stars
they play there guitars
and sing to the angels

they water there white horses
with mains of silver
in a crystal clear river
there saddles are laced with gold
they ride were it is nether hot nor cold

they only open the gate
for those who ride true
and shoot straight

so you see son there are
cowboys in heaven
you better shoot straight
and ride true
or they will never
open the gate for you
