The wind passed through the trees
A delicate touch
A delicate leaf,
fell on me

Crisp and tan,
down it fell...
You cannot change
A turning leaf
A falling leaf
A falling man

I held it in my hand
So light...
So fragile...
How this leaf could withstand
A Summers season
Now a dying Autumn,
in this changing land

The colour turned...
The leaves fell on me
A falling man,
in a changing Autumn land

A delicate touch
A delicate leaf
Could be crushed
Yet, with a soft blow
I let an Autumn leaf go

The leaves falling...
From an Autumn tree
Crisp and tan
A falling man
A falling leaf
A falling me

I will appear
Lush and green,
in a summer next year
A delicate leaf
you have seen
you have let it go
in a changing colourland so

I wanted to put myself in a space occupied by happiness
Sweet embrace of the breeze felt in the sea side of Pahut Bongao near Sanga-sanga
Everyone is happy doing the ritual of Panulak Bala’
The month to throw misfortunes that Tausug believed
Beach full of dancing waves from the sea
Never limit the horizon of falling leaves of trees

Bongao, Tawi-Tawi Island

From Times Square

Dazzling lights
Throngs of people
Walking through crowded streets
Reminds us of why we live here
Costumed performers - Bright theatre marquees
Seeing those sights brings happiness
   to native and tourist alike
Autumn - a chill in the air
  Undaunted, the bustling crowds
head for dinner and a show
No place quite like it anywhere
The masses of people
   are taking their full measure
of urban joy
Double decker buses move down the avenue
as newcomers to the Big Apple get their firs bite of it
Even those who have lived here
   their entire lives
Still feel exhilarated as they pass Times Square
Electricity lights up the metropolitan scene
The city is working its magic
Untold thousands on the avenue
Eyes meet - a feeling of urban love
works its way into the hearts
 of the masses gathered there
   The city

Praying For Rain -Chris D Aechtner-

Praying For Rain (collaboration with-Chris D. Aechtner)

She resembles a ghost from the past,
and I wonder how long she will last?

There is no turning back-
cannot turn my back on her now.
Watching the sea slowly reclaim this pearl,
I can see just a hint of the girl,
shimmering beneath a film of sickness.

She still smiles through a frown of pain,
strengthening my resolve to see this through,
to make sure we both equally gain.
And when the waves finally pull her away,
pull out her dying breath,
will she transform back into rain?

She leans on me, light as a feather.
So light and fragile.
There is no turning back-
cannot turn my back on her now.
Watching the sea slowly reclaim this pearl,
I can see just a hint of the girl,
shimmering beneath a veil of sickness.

Hold her hand,
hand her back a smile,
I am praying for rain,
praying for rain.

*** by~ POET D:

Feel her peace,
Listen for her voice,
I am praying for rain,
praying for rain.

My dreams will always wonder in her field of rain.
A journey withered under the wavy seas.
There is no turning back-
cannot turn my back on her now.
Watching the sea slowly reclaim this pearl,
I can see just a hint of the girl,
shimmering beneath a veil of sickness.

Light as a feather, I fell her Autumn sun,
I feel her presence, her sickness is gone,
upon my face I feel the moonlight rain.
At last she is leaving behind these wiping tears.
Her rain-less eyes now open the seas and skies,
pouring her jewels of purity in to my heart.

There is no turning back-
cannot turn my back on her now.
Watching the sea slowly reclaim this pearl,
I can see just a hint of the girl,
shimmering beneath a veil of sickness.

She is the ghost from my past
and I pray for this essence of her rain to last.

I am the face of misery
My life, a dissonance of autumn and spring,
The years are written in the same
Lugubrious, nostalgic grey
How can it be the author to blame?
I cannot scream this all away…
Burn nor Bleed this all away…
To Death I am Ordained

Lacuna ever growing
With Velvet sheets of life flowing
Aeons apart of my "royalty"
Under the mask the cannot see...
Can you dispel this tragedy:
Antigone - Epiphany failing

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,

No words of hope
No words of hate
Do I have Lenore to send to me:
The sordid child of Thebes
Caught In the longest nightmare
life - the slowest way to die

I know this is my life
But I'm not under control
under the mask the will see
Just Another Human

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,

If it must be…
Then just kill me,
(Antigone) sing me out of reality;
I wear this dissonant crown of shame
(Antigone) Of a kingdom's disdain
I hate to be this way... normalcy's bane
(Antigone) Here comes the edict, to blame
The sordid child of Thebes,
This is me,

Can you dispel my life; this tragedy?
Can you control the storm in my mind?
I'm asking you: can you rid me
Of The Curse of Antigone?

Walk A Mile In My Shoes

I know this is for comments so I want to start out by telling all a story:

I am a brain surgery savior and it stinks at spelling even with spell check on the computer because if you don't hit the right button to start with the spell check can't help you get it but if your memory has been cut open know one knows and even I can't remember what I should type so I try everyday.
My grammer stinks but I think living behind this screen has help me deal with
my cancer better than any other Doctor out there.

SO if ya'll say anything that I don't like I pull up my big girl panties and get right
back out there and try again because stick and stones are all that can hurt me
and my daddy told me when I was but a little gril opions are like a**holes everybody's gotta's them and some of them stink so just don't breathe so deep.

We met during winter
He 's a sophisticated jester
A twinkle on that saturday night
A nightingale on my sight

We became lover on spring
Love pours on rain and lightning
Marks on one way road
Shows like continuous chord

We shared love last summer
Under his expensive chandelier
Inside his enchanted place
I 'm like a princess blinded to his face

You leave me this autumn
In pieces and torn
Imprison to the feelings i have
In this pluasible love

Тhe ending winter broke
the last crystal day
I thank you for thee are
to light my inner flame.

The linden spread its planets-
a scent of spring and laugher
I thank you,dear,for you felt
despite them all, my order.

The winds with airy palms
are waving stifling wheat.
I thank you for the hands
wherewhit you swung my locks.

Ashy autumns shiver,
telling me to let you go,
but you catch every tremor
sighted by my stilly lips

And words not leaves are falling
Yes, this leafy autumn
for us is like an altar,
I swear,I need you to bear.

Look, silence already raps
at our foggy window.
I thank you for you're here
and still have faith in me.

As the autumn of life drifts in
The lights of my eyes grow dim
With the joy of my years
Still beside me here
There is not much that I will fear

As the winter of my life arrives
My voice will be just a whisper
With the joy of my salvation
Waiting for me at the station
I will in quiet adoration kneel

In my mind spring will beckon me
The baggage old and beat I'll leave
With the joy of my life just within sight
The constant yearning will cease
As perfect joy will become complete

the arsonist

he was there just like before
my mind wandered
as he gazed
out the window

as traffic approached
he opened his jacket
retrieving a pack of cigarettes
Winston's his favorite brand

he would tap the butt
on the table top
suddenly he took out a match book
revealing the red stick

igniting the tobacco flashes before me
as screams evolved my space
a man a match a blaze
my eyes wide shut

as he controlled the town with his
hands sirens sounded amidst
mayhem chaos and confusion
he had killed again

forcing me to witness
his wrath once more
one man one match one blaze
he had captured me now

there was no turning back
this I knew full well
he would end my life
why if I ever tell

why that would be revealing hell
suddenly his eyes turn to coal black
the darkness covered the diner
as men played pool gathering sticks

and cubes my mind wandered
my eyes watching the match
meanwhile the gravity began to pull me
from a standing position leaning
against a bathroom stall

i had heard the plot the plans
the wretchid toiling of souls
thee arsonist drooled over pages
blue prints and eviction notices

that read code enforcement
his finger tips were thick full of fungus
i arose from a stand still when he announced
the demolision of a rotten hotel

claiming his insurance taxes
surely the tenants would pay dearly
on this autumn day he collected dynamite
copper wires and lot's of mud and puddy
destruction would occur from a single match

souls began to reach for me one by one
the counting of 8 lives to perrish on this date
fearless he approached the workers you you and him
i remember thinking oh how grim
one man sitting with two eyes of dark coals
one man one match 8 souls

Autumn Razors

Every Autumn you come to me

Like a haunting ghost

The vision is surreal

But the deep scar is bleeding

The deeper the cut opens

The pain radiates through my breath

You will forever be my unfinished business.

My Moondust said to me….

At the waters’ edge

Of a stream, running free

Beware the Dark Blue World

You are not ready

I fixed her with a quizzical eye

She smiled softly

Faeries have always known

Of things beyond

For now…

My love

Let it lie

The Dark Blue World

Knows of you

You know not of futures made

Here and now

Of paths, laid

The path to travel

Is not yet made for you

Only with me

Can you be guided safely

Under an Autumn moon

We can see

Everything in the Dark Blue World

what it means to me

The smell of autumn

The smell of autumn on the breeze

make's me feel so serene

Colored leaves floating down

lay a blanket of beauty on the ground

When the sun rise's up

splaying out it's radiate light

touching dew covered leave's

Red, Gold and Green

A faucet of tranquill reflection

Creating a scene to be seen

Wrapping the heart with gratefull intent

Relaxing the mind from all life's extremes

Leaving behind all the stress and bad dreams

Blocking the toxic seeping of noise

There is only me and the tree's

and the smell of autumn on the breeze

We live in time and empty space,
Always trying to hold our place;
From birth to death we try to find,
Ways to heal a troubled mind.

I am naught and you are all,
You are grand and I am small;
Yet time remains with joy and sorrow,
Hovering between today and tomorrow.

A time to work, a time to play,
Time to greet another day;
Needing to touch the earth and sky,
To know the answer to the question why.

Time to love spring, time to love fall,
If I had to choose, I'd take them all;
For spring brings life with birds that nest,
And autumn brings a soft season of rest.

Time to feel joy, time to feel pain,
To touch all we feel all over again;
For joy brings life and happy laughter,
And pain brings tears and often anger.

Time to climb with stilts to Mars,
To play in the blue with all the stars;
Skipping through sky's Milky Way,
While others sleep and others play.

A time to rise and a time to fall,
A space to feel nothing at all;
For time touches all that is real,
And nothing at all is what time tries to steal.

A time to be born, and a time to die,
A time to laugh, and a time to cry;
For the young at heart have lives to live,
And the grey haired old have lives to give.

Fruity Wine

The sunny days that warm the Earth
inspiring nature’s glow
with salad days and joyful mirth
and love begins to grow.

The humming of the honey bees
echoes the fruity wine
of jasmine scent upon the breeze
as you said you are mine,

But however the summer ends
the memories remain
as lovers part as closest friends
and autumn falls again.

Love Me

Love me now
Love me today

Wait not,
for tomorrow
Tomorrow waits,
today waits not!

Let me know, today,
you love me
show me, today,
you will love me, tomorrow

Let today be the beginning,
of tomorrow,
let it be the beginning,
of always and for ever

Let me hear, today,
in the warmth of your breath,
in the rhythm of your heart;
you love me, today,
and will, tomorrow,
beginning today

Let me see, today,
in your quiet countenance,
in the flame of your eyes,
bright as lightening,
on a rainy night,
yet tender,
as a gentle flame;
like a candle in the wind,
with a guardian angel,
watching over it;
holding back the wind

Let me feel, today,
your love, soothing,
as the morning sun

Let me hear, today,
your love,
rolling off your tongue,
flowing from your lips,
to my heart;
in the melody of your voice,
sweet and gentle,
as a breeze on a mountain top,
in a quiet autumn night,

Let it flow, today,
gentle as a quiet river,
running deep and steady

I mind not, if it comes,
a mighty rushing wind,
only not a trade wind,
here today, gone tomorrow

I mind not, if it is hot,
molten lava,
from the volcano top,
only boiling slowly

When it cools,
may it not,
turn into a stumbling block,
not a rolling stone

But a cornerstone,
stable and able,
weathering the elements,
enduring time,
through today,
till tomorrow;
for eternity

What's This All About?

Buildings crumble down much like castles made of sand.
The circle is unbroken, the brotherhood of man.
Flames burst out, they seem suspended in the sky.
They can’t stop the terror, no matter what they try.
Then comes a calm, like after a storm.
The people feel the sorrow, as they begin to mourn.
Although I wish that things, could be like before,
As the flames are extinguished, their beings are no more.
Step to the ledge, poised to make that jump.
Jolted from the path, it’s a pretty big bump.
A cloud of destruction shrouds the way back to the path.
I try to add up the numbers but can't do the math.
Smoke so thick, you can cut it with a knife.
It becomes much like a plague, as it takes another life.
The sun returns, but things don't look the same.
Sometimes I wonder, are we getting better at this game?
Darkness returns, with silence by it's side.
You're tossed and turned about, it’s a pretty rough ride.
You try to find your way but it gets lost in your head.
It's seeming to get harder, to just get out of bed.
So you stop and look around but you can see that you are lost.
The autumn leaves start falling, as they float down towards the frost.
Coldness starts to grow, you need only to feel warm.
Try to find shelter, to get out of the storm.
I can see the winter up ahead, trying to get out.
Then I'm left here thinking, what this all about?

The whispering trees

Shed some leaves

Upon a wind that blew

To a castle door

A message for the Summer Queen

Of tapestries not yet made

Or the reason for

The Summer Queen

Gathered every single leaf

Blew a kiss to the whispering trees

Closed a Castle door

Took the Great Winding Stair

To her chamber

To begin ….

The Great Forest Tapestries

Leaves of every colour

Every shade

Of bark and bough

Through the seasons

Of tapestries not yet made

The Summer Queen

Touched all the leaves

They came from one tree

In all its’ life

As a seed

Tall and green

To the end

As an autumn leaf

Gold and brown

The leaves were carefully laid

In a basin of jewelled bronze

A trees’ life in colour and shade

For a Summer Queen to make

Of tapestries not yet made

Trees of magic never die

They live on tapestries

A soft leaf

Texture of bark

To be seen in the galleries

In shades of green

A forest within the Castle walls

Soft leaf

Texture of bark

Of branches unseen

You felt the power

Of a tree

A soft leaf

Texture of bark

Most of all

Its’ heart

In a tapestry not yet made

Soft dawn light...
Broke in the east
Pink and red,
in late December
Christmas came on a frosty day...
What I can remember.....

This time, so long ago
So many years passed by
Yet, I remember
The cold winter in that December
The geese long since gone south
Honking cry,
in an Autumn sky

I was a merest wisp of a boy
All I ever wanted....
was that toy....
I was seven...
You know...
On that frosty Christmas day
Back then....

Cold winters, come and go
I am old ,you know...
Yet, I remember that Christmas
On a frosty day,
back then....
In deep snow...
I was seven....

Most of the family have passed on,
gone to heaven
I remember how the candles shone,
long ago
I am old , you know....
I was seven..

We were poor, you know
back then...
Long ago
I was seven...
A mere wisp of a boy

I am old now,
but I still remember
My favourite Christmas...
My favourite toy....
I was seven

Christmas came on a frosty day....
Like so many since then
I still have that toy...
By my bed
I am eighty seven,
you know...
and still a boy.....

Amongst life's scatterings

The leaves fell
In an Autumn sky
In an Autumn dell

I could not see
For, such beauty
Overwhelmed me

Amongst life’s scatterings
A beautiful leaf lay
Crisp and pure
Set apart
Above, the sky azure

A leaf of Spring
A leaf of Summer
With all its’ richness
In shades of green

Now, in Autumn
its’ power lost
Not its’ life
The colour did bring
Amongst the starkness
Of Winter darkness

Last Will & Testament

To Mr. Otto Osips Ochs
My friend, the dream is exhausted
But as long as you chase it, I will follow
Mr. Dylan Thomas
Perhaps destiny it’s self will spare us
To yours, mine, our struggle
Their smiles
Here’s to serenity
Accept this peace
To those who do not understand
Perhaps you never will
To Forsythe
Orange monkeys, brown bricks
To Fallen days
Summer musk smirks
So we wish upon autumn stories
And still recall a sudden May
The Garden district
Birds feed, individuals chirp
The sudden closure that lurks
To holidays
Like people they come, they go
To Knowledge
What is good language?
Ignorance, my southern king
My Etruscan dancer
Kiss the mistletoe of your beloved tragedy
I beg of you
Keep your self reliance
So I ask you, what do you do?
When life points all its fingers at you?
To End, despair, and happiness
Why not just coexist within struggles
To the most adorable infants
I insist that you cry
Because in the future
When things go not your way
Your peers and I
Will simply tell you to stop whining
To harmony
I’d rather have your faults than marry
My well wishers
It’s been fun
I insist that you play
Enjoy the withered ways of the hours that fade
When life begins to settle around you
You begin to only focus on
What you have to do
To the harlots I lay with in
You can do better than me
To those whom stood foot in sand
Wrap your self in a warm memory and let it be
To fatal attraction
What ever happened to you?
Until the end, my friend
My lord this is as far as we go
To my viewers
I leave you my despair
My expired whereabouts
My truth in well being
I leave you my absence on days I do not miss
My love
My only beleaguered wish
To life
The darkness I continue to kiss
To my conscience
I cannot get over you
To the world
The end, all is yours
To our sun
The moon, the blemishing
To Phoebe
Be eternal, mark, and benefit from it
To relinquishing
I keep trotting
To this decision in essence
Where will I go?
For now, I do not know
But maybe that’s the significance in the matter
To Colorado
I look forward to our rendezvous and tryst
To departure
A lavender scent
To laughter
A soothing melody to present
To my tears
You are nothing more than failing worries
To Eternity
Time seems wounded, love please hurry
To Monroe Louisiana
Maybe I’ll see you all around sometime
As for my will
I leave none, it carries on within me

Faeries and butterflies
On an Autumn day
Sweet lilting song
The Whispering Trees sigh

A boy for Autumn
Leaves of gold and red all around
A sky, so blue
A child born...
A King found

A blessing from Heartstone
Across the sea, so blue
Shadowfire too

In the Great Hall
A boy, so perfect
So true
A Faeries' blessing for all

A Spring Queen...
So serene
Within her arms,
she did bring
An Autumn boy
A King..

Offerings for the new boy...
A flower from the Spring Queen
A golden feather from the King of Air
Water from the Stream of Sighs
A leaf from the Whispering Trees
Faerie Dust
A book from the Kings' Library

Faeries and butterflies
On a crisp Autumn day
The Heartstone glowed,
for beauty showed

Details | Ballad | |

The long summer passed
Dreamy days
The beginning of a full Moon
A boy for Autumn..

The Spring Queen and the King of Air
Gazed out to a sky deep with night
A touch of hand
The stars bright
A full Moon
A baby, coming soon

A Castle had lost a King
A boy, to be born soon
In Autumn
Under a full moon

The Autumn Queen came,
in a swirl of leaves
Gold and red
The impending birth
The Earthen King passed on
Who will take his name?

The leaves changed colour
The moon rose
Silver light
Shone a castle, so bright

The cry of a baby boy
On an Autumn night
A full Moon
Shone bright
All of Heartstone
Joy and delight

A tired Queen looked on
A boy, so perfect and true
Her face shone
The faeries glowed
A new King for Heartstone
Under the full Moon too

a song for storms

We live
We look for strength
To go on
Day in
Days with in a song
We give
Second to our ribs
Circle of my thoughts
Where’s home

Collectors coming for my sins
I’m just as filthy as most refuted men
Whom disputed over realms of broken limbs
Sounds of an acoustic rose
Singing with in my misery
No other agony could produce these lows
The stabilization of man kind
History is only statistical values on rewind
My logic to look further than a keepers find
I hope you become the change you look to see
Giving it back for all that this
State of being has taken from me
This broken image I have awaken to be

We live
We search for strength
To go on
Days in
Days with in a song
We sing
Circles of my thoughts
I want to go home

Don’t give up on life
Don’t let it get the best of your nights
Nine children, from no two women
But one
Woman’s worth taken beneath a shaded sun
Sympathetic I cannot be
For I never really referred to her as “mom”
Your economy appears to crumbling
Why I tend to give you all
The bitter half of the songs in me
Look forward, toward tomorrows coming
For days know not where they come from
If it gets no better, allow us to breathe
Take upon the breeze with leaves
For autumn seems to strangle
Suffering from our sleeves
A New York warmth
Hidden beneath winter charms

We live
We search for strength
To go on
Days in
Days with in a song
We sing
Circles of my thoughts
I want to go home

Where do all the birds go?
Autumn brings rain
The birds............
Gone again
Before the winter snow

Where do the birds go?
Leaving me.........
All alone..........
With a leafless tree
Birds, flown
Yet, not me

Where did all the birds go?
Quiet flurry of snow........
They gave no sign.........
They didn't show......

To follow a sun......
The birds.......
The Autumn rain........
Here again..........
The birds...
One by one

Where do all the birds go?
I do not know
I have no wings,
to follow........
I sit and wait for Spring
The return of sound........
From the air
Feathered things found........
I missed them so

I do not have wings,
to take me to the sun
They left me..........
One by one
My heart no longer sings
I must wait..........
Until winter is done,
and spring has begun

Rich in colour
Just like leaves
Hearts, fall

Upon golden
There lay my heart
As fragile as an Autumn leaf
I held it in my hand
Kissed it gently
Held it close
Never apart
I thought of you
Like Autumn
And its colour play

Upon golden
My heart did belong
With you
In Autumn colours
That showed
Rich and true

As the geese flew north
The honking cries
Could be heard
In clear Autumn skies

Winter came
Blustery snow fell
During the night
Robin redbreasts and Castle Sparrows
Could be heard
At first light

The King of Air
Fed all the birds at the Castle
During the day,
He took food
Down to the forest
Beautiful as winter can be
Food was spare
The King made sure
No bird, would go hungry

Castle Sparrows
Fluttered here and there
Earning their keep,
by picking up all sorts of things
The Castle was tidy,
as wished by the King of Air

Robins, strutted around
Puffing out their red feathers
Amusing all who took walks
In the castle grounds

Winter began to thaw
The birds of spring
Called out joyously
Birds could be seen
Amongst the fresh green

Birds of every colour
Took to the air
Flew amongst the Whispering Trees
You could hear birds singing

Heartstone Eagles
Circled high
Above a castle
Traversing the mountain
Daily patrols
Watching all of the sky

I sat upon a grassy bank
Spring had passed
Beautiful , it was too
Now, I live in a Summer wood
An intense blue sky
High above
I felt like flying
Such green
Such love
In a Summer wood
Flowers bloomed
Colours, so intense
They filled your heart
With light and love
In every sense
Summers day
The sky filled with birds
I ran
In a summer wood
My life
Filled with play
I only knew
When summer passed
When the kiss of an autumn leaf
Upon my cheek
It would never last
I knew this to be true

The Autumn

I often watch the leaves blow by,
And feel the autumn winds sweep me away. I try so hard not to cry,
The beauty of time just flying by.
I close my eyes and smell the sweet air,
Utter beauty with just a touch of despair,
Oh the years have grown in age,
The years disappearing white to gray.
Am I truly ready for life to begin,
What if I fail or fall or cant swim,
In the pressures of true life?
These are the times I will always remember,
My mind flowing freely like burning embers.
Wrapped up by love all the time,
Reminding me that my long lost love is finally mine.
But those strong feelings I always get,
As I lye awake on my bed,
Why wont my mind just take a rest?
I guess what they say will still haunt me.
Why am I the object of their aggression?
Diminishing my only piece of sanity left.
I just try to ignore these inhuman feelings,
And focus on things with true meaning,
Love for one will always be there,
Whether I’m frightened, angry, apathetic or scared.
Oh beautiful seasons just take me away,
Send your messengers who have fallen from grace.
Wrap me up with your entangling vines,
Shelter me from these things so unkind.
Hold me back from self-destruction,
For only my life has just begun.
