Lovely lovely people
All I wish is to return again one day
31st October 2014
W-hen the fullness of time had come, Jesus was born behind an Inn in a cave-like stable.
I-n the Inn there was no room for the Son of God, no room for the Saviour of men.
S-tar was shining so bright above the stable for the shepherds to find their way to Him.
E-ven angels proclaimed His birth to those shepherds "Unto you is born this day."
M-anger is where Mary and Joseph first laid him. It was filled with hay.
E-very animal there must have known that their Creator had come that day.
N-o one knew the depth of love God had, to give His Son to dwell among men.
S-ame star guided three kings from the Orient, who studied the stars and heavens.
T-hese wise men from the East came saying "Where is He that is born King"
I-n their hands they brought him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrr.
L-ike these three wise men, wise men still seek him today!
L-ove is the reason that God sent His only Begotton Son into the world to save us.
S-eeking for you and me, yes God was seeking for us because we had left Him.
E-veryone, yes, all we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone to his own way.
E-ach one has to make his on decision to follow Him or not to follow Him.
K-ing, born to be a King. King of the ages. King of the past. King of the future.
H-eaven, He came from Heaven to earth to show us the right way.
I-niquity, the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
M-elody, He gives us a sweet melody, we sing many songs of praise to Him.
T-ree, A Christmas tree, the love that Jesus had for us, to die on a tree.
O-nly one life and how soon it passes. Only in life can we accept His Love.
D-eliverance, He came from Heaven to preach deliverance to the captives.
A-cknowlege Him and accept Him. Behold now is the accepted time.
Y-ou, Yes, this Christmas Love was for You. Will You accept this love?

Hear a promise that comes so softly with new snow
At the touch of the hour, on a New Year's eve
Pristine, untouched in the moonlit glow
Pause for a moment, as the old year takes leave
Years slip away, and with new footsteps we go…
New paths of adventure lie waiting ahead
Each step we will tread, so velvety slow
We’ll walk on ahead, leaving yesterday’s bed
Yesterday’s sorrow, lies beneath downy lace
Each step is brand new...like an unwritten slate
As we walk on in silence, and a new hope begins
Rejoice, in this gift of a new shining face
For Francine's Contest
6 days till kings day, wise men visit the Jesus baby
3 kings are in a song but not in the word
Eternal life he brought with faith enough for all
X marks the spot don't miss your one shot!!
I took the challenge of the PD
Yes opinonated me!!
Just as snow begins to drift and fall
Outside still my lover comes to call
Yes the fire is toasty warm, and bright
On my rug we curl up nice and tight
For awhile we kiss and murmur sweet
Casually he gets me on my feet
Hanging in the door there's mistletoe
Reaches for me as our feelings grow
In his arms he twirls me and I sway
Soon we realize Santa's on his way!
Tree lights twinkle bright across the room
Merry Christmas on our lips does bloom
At long last I unfold from his arms
Softly pull away from all his charms
Let us give each other just one gift
On to pretty packages we drift
Very soon it will be Christmas Day
Ending the night,we listen for that sleigh!
Tis’ the season born of love
He was born up in a stall
Enjoy the gift’s you receive
Christ, the greatest gift of all
Hope is what he offered us
Redemption for our sins
I know that I have been set free
Salvation from within
Tis’ the season born of love
Merry Christmas to all
Amazing grace we have received
So lets answer the call
Giving is the greatest gift
If given from the heart
Follow yours and you shall receive
The gift that never parts
I know that times are tough but please
remember that many families are much
less fortunate than us. Many families will
turn to homeless shelters for they have
no where else to go. Their are many ways
to help and the rewards are priceless. The
gift of giving is truly the gift of love.

Soft, the hush, of new fallen snow,
Illuminated by festive lights.
Luster of the star's sweet glow,
Extolling His birth, upon this night.
Nurturing faith, within our hearts,
To each of us, within his sight.
Now, as the midnight bells do start,
Ignore we not, another's plight.
Go into the Christmas season renewed!
Hold onto the love. Hold on tight,
To the Season, the whole year through.

Salvation was born that long ago night,
In Bethlehem's lowly town.
Little did the townsfolk know,
Emmanuel had come down.
Night time sky began to glow,
Twas a star brighter than the rest.
Never before had so bright a star been seen,
Inciting omens to be guessed.
Good tidings were shared with the terrified shepherds.
Heavenly messengers sang with joy.
The shepherds did as the angels said,
and worshipped Mary's baby boy.

The beginning of my thanks begins at knees,
Having my aches eased, or body suffused,
All that comes to mind is sleep and serene.
Nobody that offers bread can empty,
Knives may cut meat and find platter greasy,
Supper ended, dishes done, there’s always cheer.
Give one for the road, one for tomorrow,
Invest within self, hugs or tomato growing,
Venture into unknown so what is known
Is another taste that takes you back to home.
Nothingness can fill everyone’s hands if home
Gives back to our bodies and delivers to me peace.

Santa's task is to fill heart and soul with mirth
Inside all of us is the joy he left on earth
Let us learn of Jesus, and the reasons of his birth
Emphasize respect for all things on earth
Nightly bringing peace, here on Mother Earth
Thoughts of life in heaven, and a purpose on this earth
Now all are blessed, with his grace and mirth
Instead of seeking wealth, sing praises of his birth
Go across this country and spread his words of mirth
Healing, health and hope for lasting peace on earth

Happy Holidays to all, as we rejoice and celebrate
A time of magic and wonder in our lives to date
People of all nations joyously cheering
Partaking and enjoying the delights so endearing
Yule logs in the fire abundantly blazing
Heavenly warmth through the hearth, so amazing
Ornaments and tinsel dancing on the tree
Lights brightly sparkling sharing so much glee
Indulging all the senses with wonder and amazement
Drawing family in with love and jubilation, quietly
Announcing their arrival with hearts full of praise
Young ones having so much fun entertaining everyone
Silent becomes the night, with heavenly peace and calm for days
A Happy New Year
Another year is now winding down
Happy new year, new tunes shall be sung
Always be smiling, it shall keep you young
Planning ahead for a new year to start
Peaceful blessings for every heart
Yesterdays are gone, its time to move on
Not everything will be rosy or even fun
Each new day be a blessing from above
Welcoming new seasons with His touch
Yearning for peace in the world and love
Every year does bring new dimensions
All at the end it is really up to you
Remember keeping faith shall get you through.
Happy New Year 2014 Everyone!
Heavenly Father, hear my plea
At your altar on bended knee.
Prayers I offer for those I love,
Prayers to you Lord, up above.
You have seen the mess we've made.
Not the plans that you had laid.
Everywhere there's war and sadness
Where there should be peace and gladness.
You must be disappointed in us all,
Each of us who ignored your call.
All mankind should this year strive
Really hard to keep humanity alive.
Lord please help us do our best
On your behalf, a peaceful quest.
Rid this earth of anger and hate.
Don't let our past dictate our fate.
Hope is a promise that comes with new snow
And fills our tomorrows with a newfound trail
Pristine, untouched in the moonlit glow
Pause for a moment, bid the midnight farewell
Yearning for adventure, with new footsteps we'll go…
New paths of discovery lie waiting for me
Each step I will tread, so velvety slow
We’ll walk hand and hand, leaving yesterday’s bed
Yesterday’s sorrow, left beneath downy lace
Each step is brand new...like an unwritten slate
As we walk in this New Year, and a new hope begins
Rejoice, in a gift of this velvety grace

White was the winter night covered in snow
Icicles dangled from eaves all aglow.
Nestled were nestlings of child and sparrow.
Twined was the bittersweet all-round the harrow.
Earnestly each tiny heart took a leap,
Rosy, so rosy, was each little cheek.
White was the winter, wondrous, sublime
On forest and field and men in their prime,
No eye lacked a twinkle, no door lacked its wreath,
Dainty hay mangers lined each pristine street.
Even the traffic pranced looking merry
Reindeer antlers on grill, noses like cherries.
Lights hung from fir trees in villages squares
Arias sprung from church choirs in pairs.
No one was maudlin, the season was fine.
Dad, “Pass the turkey and then the red wine!”
Thankfulness should be a common trait
Yet sadly, in some, it is evidenced late.
Hardly a day is lived by one
That there can be claimed that there’s blessing’s none.
All need to stop and give careful thought
And display gratitude as they ought.
Nice it is to hear thanks from one
To whom a deed of kindness has been done.
Kindness is that which is received by all
Yet into complacency we seem to fall.
Sad it is to be guilty of such
When we have all been given so much.
Gratitude in al will prayerfully reign
When from focus on self we learn to abstain.
Instead of always looking at “me”
Our focus on the giver of gifts should be.
Volumes have been written on topics like this
Yet the simple message, please don’t miss.
Insane it seems to totally ignore
The multitudes of blessing we daily store.
Novel idea it surely would be
If we’d let the world our gratefulness see.
God is the source of all that there is
Gratitude from us should surely be His.

Colorful season for the saints; a simple sign for sinners;
Happy hearts hover; love and light unites the universe.
Righteousness received in a wicked world by winners;
Indemnity to the indebted, laugh alive oh longing losers,
Seeking the Savior still, following the faith of our fathers.
Terrific throng and tone, bells and balloons across borders,
Merry making, gift and gowns glow… no proud nor paupers;
Alluring alarms by kids and kings; choruses by choristers,
Men and women in joy and jubilations, caressing Christmas…
Pretty fall colors carved and decorated
Understandably the best in a cream covered pie
My favorite flavor is the cheesecake
Plump and lumpy or perfectly orange
Kill it with a shotgun after halloween
I love to watch the scrambled pieces fly in the air
Never let the Jack o lantern go to waste!!
Seeds left on the ground, grow next year!
Take time to remember
Humble yourself, take a stand
Inspire someone, reach out
Share from your own hand
Hunger and misery
Oblivious are we
Living like king and queens
In this world we do not see
Daily interactions that we could
Allow ourselves to help out
You can make a difference, there is no doubt
Single and together
Embrace all that you hold dear
Accept that life is not perfect
Season is almost here
Outlove your worst fear
Night is dark but Christmas is near
Turkey in the oven.
Hands on basting and rubbing.
All adults on deck for setting the table.
Not a seat empty for even a child so able.
Knocks on the door as family arrives.
So happy Mom's in the kitchen, now we'll survive.
Getting the TV all warmed up for a day of football.
In and out the kids run up and down the hall.
Velvet cake hides behind the fruit not seen.
In comes the family passing through the kitchen with gleam.
No samples tasted for Mom is the boss.
Getting ready for this meal still a salad to be tossed.
Day begins with smiles and joy.
All fall asleep for the deserts are my toy.
You have to love this day of thanks for Mom and Dad and every girl and boy.
Hands holding champagne
Allowing all wishes to sparkle
People dancing under Mylar balloons
Pop corn with sweet caramel
Yankees caps with silver trim
Nobody dislikes silly buffoons
Everyone can be one of them
With the New Year's party colorful hats
Yell and be extravagantly festive
Ears deafened by loud music
America celebrates in Times Square
Rome calls for peace everywhere

When out on the lawn green grass grew everywhere,
I knew in a moment that no snowman was there.
No child in the town would see a white Christmas.
The ice in the rink arrived man-made and fogless.
Excited boisterous children laughed and slip-slid around.
Rip-roarious the winter wonders in a warm southern town.
What fantastic fantasies fill malls in Florida winters?
Opulent brilliance, colorful lights bedecked and blinkers.
Noble elves work inside at each new on site workshop.
Delightfully watching children gleam with eyes all lit up.
Exceptional imaginations and a warm winter show.
Reality slips into fantasy as cherry faces start to glow.
Love in the air mingles with scents of bayberry.
Adults all around adorning, become merry.
Not one child misses winter in their Florida town.
Dependably on time, Santa always comes around.

Hairy eyeballs hanging from a wizard’s crown.
Arachnids sprawled on his black sparkling gown.
Ludicrous marks scar his face beneath a frown.
Luscious blood dripping very slowly down.
Opulent jewelry shaped like bones.
Worn around his neck amid creepy groans.
Ecstatic bats wait around for deadly moans.
Eerily suspended from their master’s belt.
Nonchalantly walking, his evil presence is felt.
Coming down the stairs was a star bejeweled queen.
Overcome; such beauty he had never before seen.
Stunned into submission by her piercing eyes.
Trapped by love’s intrusion and compassion’s cries.
Unveiling beauty, cajoling pleasant sighs.
Miraculously transformed his evil heart; love flows.
Enticed by the moment, together, attraction grows.
Bedazzled by the grandeur of the Halloween Ball
Altruism curiously sealed love that fall.
Laughter filled the man with the eyeballs on his crown.
Loved by the queen in her star bejeweled gown.

Has much joy and celebration,
Rolled into twenty-four hours of elation.
It echoes with laughter,
Sees caring, generosity and love scatter.
Too much food and drink,
May ruin it for some;
As it ends the heartburn, will come;
Set in for the night; to dreams we’ll succumb.
Each one is filled with magical
That, for each child,
Invokes memories of the previous ones while.
Very often it also
Invokes and joy and mirth; even
The holy family’s’ stay at, the
Inn and Christ’s miraculous birth.
Everyone does not celebrate it; but they will break bread;
Some celebrate Hanukkah, Ramadan or Quanzaa instead.
Beneath the umbrella rainbow canopy,
Elvis croons from an old man’s radio.
As he smears lotion on his nose and knees,
Children hop by screaming in stereo
Hot hot hot! The sand’s hot on my feet!
Blasting sand onto sun-bathing girls,
Laughing boys race to the sea.
Avid readers get lost in their worlds,
Not noticing the shade retreat.
Kite flyers whirl and twirl,
Enjoying the breeze on the beach,
That causes the beach towels to curl.
Buried treasure inspires kids
Into digging deep in the sand.
Names are called when it’s time to quit;
Grown-ups leave, relaxed and tanned.

Having family and turkey is the sauce for the dressing.
All together giving warm wishes and especially blessing.
Prayers are the dearest thing to share even if apart.
Prayers whether said out loud or quietly in your heart.
Your spirit shared with others is a great gracious start.
Take heed of what you have been given each day that you live.
Heaven hears every word and thought that your soul does give.
Answers don’t always come the way we desire them too.
Never underestimate that they are heard above the blue.
Kingdoms of glory have no monetary goal to claim.
Spirits blessed in honor and true love has no shame.
God is here, he hears, yes he is alive though many doubt.
Insincerity of your inner peace will have no known clout.
Victory of all that will be given comes from your heartfelt soul.
Insecurity of your spirit shall defeat and buries your life’s’ goal.
Now warm your essences with peace and love for humanity.
God has set forth a plan for his glory and our life-forces eternally.
One thing, we all have in common worldwide.
Because we need it to be human to provide,
Secrets fantasies keep most from going insane.
Even though each knows they will not gain.
Sure enough we all have these thoughts or deeds.
Spending money, wasting time to plant these seeds,
Inventions of the desires prepare the mortal mind.
Obsessions vary from the wild to tame we find.
Now step back and think about your life’s fixation.
Seek out your fantasy or reality that steals passion.

For Brian Strand's contest: An Easter Picture
Snow drifting through the midnight air,
Innocence and silence endures with care.
Lights glitter creating a blissful scene,
Each time they glow a sight so serene.
No one would ever believe this night,
The silence so musical, such a delight.
Now the shepherds march across the snow,
In gowns of pure white with a golden glow.
Giving the gift of lasting peace and grace,
Here a new beginning for the human race.
Today each year, we honor his birthplace.

When is it enough?
Or is it that someone is telling you you can't have it?
Lay your pride down on the ground.
Fur will only take you so far.
Make trash of those fangs.
Antelopes move north tonight.
No. I'm not coming.
Rejoice at the season.
Riches of the heart abound.
You well know the reason.
Here at last,
Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice.
It's our favourite holiday,
Sing out and give it voice.
This is the day of love for all.
May everyone feel at peace
And pray that soldiers all come home
So all the wars shall cease.
Always there to give a hug or reassuring kiss
Master of healing the smallest cuts and nicks
Ordering up exactly the right amount of love and kicks
Moms are the biggest heros and cherished by their kids.
New Years Eve celebration
Ever so grateful of redemption
With overindulgence of consumption
Edibles I've been craving
Aha so much champagne drinking
Recoup from stomach bloating
Swaying, light-headed teetering
Eek nightcaps of antacid
Verily, not so lucid
Eau de mornings, feeling putrid
For Francine Roberts' contest, "New Years Eve,"
Close your pretty eyes, and picture us cuddled next to the fireplace.
Heavenly paradise as I stare longingly into your angelic face.
Remove that negligee so my eyes can feast on your voluptuous creamy skin.
Intimate foreplay, and I'm putting my tongue in places that's never been!
Sensual mind altering love, and doing things you've allowed no man to explore.
Taking your body and mind above, unlocking that forbidden door.
Mistletoe passionate kisses, sending shivers up my very spine.
As magical as this love is, let me slip my tongue into your heavenly divine!
Santa is making your every desire come true, so let me ravish every inch of you.
With this pen and pad this Christmas will be well spent.
I want you to allow me to be bad as my fingers treat your body like an instrument!
Together we will make Christmas Carols on a blanket next to our tree.
Hold me tight as our bodies ignite universal poetry!
You give me a present that I will always treasure.
Object of my affection beyond measure!
Under the mistletoe, just know that I will never let you go!!!!

Squared away this day; all is smooth and proper in
Some ceremony of guilt and pleasure – but low a lasting treasure is found beyond such rituals,
Such histrionic poses; beyond your comprehension –
A gift which beats a pulsar tympani – as angels moan
In symphony to herald the coming of His summation;
His fingers on the moon, unseen tendrils tug the axis

Today and everyday is worth being thankful.
Having warmth and love given is always thoughtful.
All of us should carry this feeling throughout year.
Not being thankful is just selfish, shows your fear.
Kindness should be showed to all each and everyday.
Sure, it may be tough at first, for your heart to sway.
God gave everyone a mind, heart and soul the same.
Individually we must all prepare and play the game.
Victory shall be the joy and happiness, you bring.
Inventory your heart; let your spirit free to sing.
Never let a sour soul, spoil your delightful song.
God is alive, great, awesome, he is never wrong.
Discover loving essence; make it your quarry.
Allow his honor to grace your existence and story.
You and you alone are the keeper of our Lords glory.

Love Came Down
Late, upon a silent night
Over a land gone to sleep
Viewed by few, a star so bright
Eyed by few, called to go and see.
Child of God was born for me and you
Announcing the coming of a new age
Messianic message of old came true
Embrace of Heaven upon the whole world’s stage.
Dawn of the glorious day of hope rises to
Overcome the dark of a painful past
Wave of love descends from on high to
Never see a tear in their eyes at last.

Young and old enjoy this day.
Under the mistletoe, we can kiss away.
Light up every Christmas light.
Everyone, see how bright they are tonight.
Tidings for peace on earth, we wish each other.
It is a season for every sister and brother.
Dear to us are all that are near to us.
Everybody makes this season joyous.

And go about their daily lives
Realizing that this too will be a “great and happy new year”

Let all of us remember the truth of Christmas day.
Our god sent his Son upon this Earth, we did pray.
Victims we were of our own predominate selfish way.
Evangelical visitations spread announcements, they say.
Calmness spread over the earth that night with no dismay.
Angels appeared to wise men along with a starlit display.
Many followed the travelers, as they traced a single ray.
Each one bringing gifts of praise, presented where he lay.
Delivering a powerful presence, in clothes tattered and frayed.
Opening hearts and souls, with his power of glory displayed.
Wielding smiles of joy to all that believed the word conveyed.
Nearer to their God, they felt his gift to all, as they all prayed.

Christmas Love Came Down
Christmas cheers chime as chubby cheeked children anticipate and wait.
Hoping that they have lived well enough for presents up to this date.
Reality relies on the realizations that love from parents and God give joy. Really!
Infinite love shares Santa tales enticing dreams of toys for girls and boys.
Dream-like love shows as Santa sits in malls with smiles; children sharing hopes.
Tantalizing wistfulness wanders through young hearts that overtake rational scopes.
Mesmerizing melodies with memories of merriments or maladies gone mad.
Alas, across all aquifers amid alluring skies, altered human awareness seizes…
Santa Clause, a man whose love, once endured the gravest times. Image, freezes!
Legendary love embraced. He lived a life of giving to humble hearts. He eased fears.
Oh, how his happy helping hallowed our Lord and Savior. Saving secret tears.
Very well, Saint Nicholas followed teachings and examples of his Lord, our Lord.
Every night, out of sight, he would secretly deliver. Food and gifts all poverty adored.
Caring and sharing He gave of his wealth to his fellow man with needs.
Almighty God looked down and blessed him more for his good deeds.
Miracles and hope uplifted kindhearted men who in those days joined in.
Eliminating selfish ways, demonstrating love like Christ had shown on earth to men.
Deliverer exemplified by the actions of one caring man. A man, like Christ with myrrh.
Offerings of love, gifts given celebrate Jesus Christ, our Savior's holy birth.
We show our love for Him when unto others we, like Him, help them abide.
Needing no glory for the good we give, since Christ came down. His love thrived.

Here upon a chilly eve
A new year is conceived
People sing with lavish joy
Praising all the year has been
Yearly we meet and celebrate
Now what has become of us
Entails us to new journeys
Wherever they may lead, we shall go
Young and old tread new walks
Every path becomes anew
And the journeys left behind us
Remind us of who we are
(Inspired by Carol Brown's contest, "HAPPY NEW YEAR")
Snuggled deep beneath my sheets,
Imaginary thoughts electrify my heart beat,
Lacy dresses that shimmer and shine,
Eight days away from work flutter through my mind,
Necklacesess and rings dipped in white gold,
Time is ticking; my patience fits a child’s mold.
Neighborhood lights twinkle through my frosted blinds,
Illuminating my bedroom walls with colorful Christmas designs,
Gradually my lids grow heavy, while I attempt one more peep,
Hoping that the dancing snowflakes outside my window the ground will decide to keep,
Telling myself tomorrow mornings will come faster if I fall asleep.

HAPPY New Year
Happy hours whole-heartedly hold to habitual hilarities.
Abandoned attitudes and aspirations are assessed as antiquity.
Party partakers posing for pictures postpone philanthropy.
Preliminary performances playfully present pasts poetically.
Yesterday's yearnings yield to Yuletide yelps for yonder years.
Necessity notices not nations’ nicest New Year's nights.
Elegance eludes excessive extravagance effectively.
Waste not… Want not… Work lots… Win!
Yesterdays years yielded yellow-yarrow yawns.
Every exploration envisioned endless eons.
Annual ambitions are articulated, and appraised.

Irrational idioms slinging often.
Loads and loads of arguing.
Everyday from 6am to 6am.
Not at home anymore in my own place,
To get over him.
No night I had peace had to go to bed angry at dad.
I hated the awful experience of him opening Hell's

He did not love. He loved some but not all
The awful turbulent troll rolls in guilt while I'm at my own home with silent nights.

Another holiday season.
Lots of success.
Legacy being built.
People may hate on me.
Refuse to let them shake me.
All things work together for my good.
In Your plan for my life.
Seeds being sown.
Everyday is a winding road.
So, I’ll roll with the punches.
Tough days I had this year.

You helped me do things that I never thought I could do.
Only You are the key to prosperity. You Father,

Every year wanting to

Hear the ramblings as the count down now begin.
A few seconds later toasting with champagne or gin,

Preparing for a new year with precious tips,
Yes, we all make a promise to stop something.
Nearer to our loved ones, our heart does sing.
Even the children at home, watch the ball drop.
Wearing pajamas celebrate, drinking milk or pop.
You and I my dear we kiss and hug for our love so.
Every year the same though we find a different glow.
Again, this year, we find ourselves growing old.
Realizing that our faith and love, worth more than gold
My friends and enemies, I send best wishes of cheer.
Especially my poetic friends, I send joy next year.
Rich talent of words I wish, to all those who read.
Rhythmic flow in all poetic lines, expressed indeed.
Your lines of poetry, blessed with joy so sincere.
Christmas time has joy and happiness for all.
Having peace and love, shared broad and tall,
Reaching out to others, giving with true feelings,
I send out to poetry soup family, great dealings.

True passion of faith, my heart sends in reason.
