trust the system

footsteps aimlessly
walking on their trails
beaten down and broken
shiny as the rails
the rails of the train
over used and rusted
crumbling ignored
the system that you trusted
the silence of conformity
the quiet crying song
of people lost in apathy
monotony so long
the old man remembered
the booming days of old
and tried to warn the youngster
with stories he had told
the young man in the t shirt
can hear no warning cries
television cataracts
covering his eyes
commoners injected
with complacent misdemeanors
fed intravenously
from mass media feeders
the heretics will scream
with no one to hear their call
the working slaves will perish
society will fall
in the pulpit yelling
mystifying lies
sweating like a demon
with fire in his eyes
passing round a dish
to collect the workers' wage
saving souls ain't easy
so he sets a stage
profiting from fear
preparing them for death
comfort is a business
says his liquor breath
on the front row fanning
the woman says amen
waiting for the bell
so she can live in sin
forgiveness is a blessing
that god will give to few
surely she'll be one
when her life is through
the child in the classroom
with the curious mind
will be beaten and conditioned
until she too is blind
"trust in the system"
is the motto that they teach
"question nothing,
so higher you can reach"
the land of the free
the home of the brave
only for those of us
content with being slaves
some will stand on street corners
holding big white signs
telling of injustice
held beneath our sights
but those who throw the bombs
which burn society down
those will be the shakers
for true freedom to be found
but the sheep still continue
to justify their life
ignoring others torment
blind to their strife
perpetuating failure
selling bankers souls
to keep on consuming
to get the best remote control
to build themselves a shield
what kind of life is this
numbness is a virtue
and ignorance is bliss

My land

Somaliland

Logic meant to be flat
My love meant to fight

My land is the land of the lonely tree
The land of the lonely tree
Is out of thy map
But she concurred
Space in every heart
Maybe harsh
But mine

Oh Allah bless
My people an my land

Her ballade is my anthem of pride
Watch the flag is flying high
Read the lips
out of the heart
Who recite holy words
The victory and the forte
For Allah

Oh Allah bless
My people an my land

A letter to a soldier

A letter to a soldier.
Dear Solder:
I saw you the other day. You had on a uniform so neat. With shinny buttons
and shoe.
I like the way you carried the flag. Nice tall For all to see.
My dad says, You fight for our freedom and for me to be able to write this letter.
My dad says freedom doesn't come cheap. And many of your friends.Have gave
their lives?
He told me about the American wars and how the first war was for our freedom
and rights.
He told me how a man tried to kill us all and take our country. How the soldiers
stop them all.
We solder,. 't time for me to go to bed . But I'll say a prayer for you tonight.
Thanking you for my freedom and my life.
                Thankyou American solder,
                         Johnny

Spell Us Both

Betroth her to me,
If she will never stop amazing my spirit.
Bring her to me,
If she will never stop beautifying my heart.
Hand her to me,
If she will never stop spoiling me with love.
Entrust her to me,
If she will never stop till she fight my war.
Leave her to me,
If she will never wish for my death before the hour.
Send her to me,
Let our hands lock in wed.
Send her to me,
Let our oneness soul united.

Who am I

Who Am I ?
I am many. I come from the rich and the poorest of families.
I sleep in mud ,the rain and snow. I eat when I can and where I can.
I only carry a rifle to protect those I am asked to. I ask nothing in return.
I do so because I am proud to love my country. For what it stands for.
I am an American solder and I will die for you.

26 of june

26 of June came again
The old month of June
Old but always young
In the calendar of glory
The gala caliber counted high
'cause the freedom course
Call culminate
And came to the final call
Cheerful calls
Calls of the courage men
Who retained hopes
Calls to heart
Healing the wounds
Of the soul
26 of June came again
The old month of June
Old but always charm
The light
The night
Of the freedom
The lost
 And cast
 Although
 very high
The dignity through the lost
we regain
As a nation we reign
To the heart again
26 of June came again

We Honor

We Honor
We honor God, for he is the King of kings.
We honor our mother and father, for the gave us life.
We honor our teachers, for giving their time to teach us the things we require for
life.
But most of all we honor the men and women that protect us.
And provide us with the freedom we have.
God blesses them and protects them

I Fly

I fly.
I was born a flag red white and blue in color.
13 Stars And 13 strips.
I have been in many places. But still fly for only one nation.
I have seen many wars and been fired on and full of holes.
But I still fly high.
I fly on just about every building and many of home.
I fly in some places only for the hero's that are dead.
I bow to no other and will never do.
I fly because I love you.

The Star-Spangled Glory

As the star-spangled glory,
Flies proud and grand,
With the home of the brave,
Though hill scattered lands,

With the star-spangled banner,
Gleaming o’er the shore
As the noble eagle
Stretches and soars

And the flag flies brilliant,
By mountains high,
As the crop fields spread,
Beneath won’drous blue skies.

The American Flag

The America Flag
The America Flag.
I have been home since I was born.
I have participated in many wars.
Be discovered in every state and every country in the world.
I march down every main st that will carry me.
As the wind blows i say hi to all and let you know
You are free.
Some say that i am offended, but I say nothing.
I'm the AMERICA FLAG AND THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME!!!!

Rumor Has It

Rumor has it.
Rumor has it that people don't like me.
They say that I offended them.
That I stands for war and hate.
And the country I fly for is weak.
Well, rumor has it that I have been here for over 200 years.
That I flies on all buildings that will have me.
I lead every march down main street.
They sing a pretty song in my honor.
So rumor has it I will be here long after you're gone.
So if I offend you that much. Rumor has it you can leave anytime.
The plane has room and rumor has it you're not coming back.

America

America
Some people have forgotten what America is.
The country was founded in 1776.
After many people fought for, for its freedom.
Freedom which we have today!
America has passed through many wars.
From the first gun shot to start our freedom
To the gun shots our men and women do today.
We have 50 states today that is 37 more than we began with.
We have united as a country for the freedom of our fathers and bothers, uncle
and now sisters and mothers have fought for.
Today in this land of Ours we fight to ensure that freedom from within.
Freedom that only you and God know can't and will not be beaten by my one
man.Or a thousand.
For this AMERICA AND GOD BLESS IT AND OUR FREEDOM

I walk alone

I walk not alone
I walk not alone. But with many of my brothers and sisters. I watch them fall.
Knowing I maybe next. I carry my head high knowing what I doing was making
my nation proud.
I stand up for freedom in the world. So I can see little children grow. This land
that I serve has been free for over 200 years. Many before me gave their life. Now
it's mine to do the same. As the bombs drop, I see out in the distance a flag. It
has many stars and red and white stripes ripped but not fallen. I just think about
only one thing this flag is mine and I helped keep it flying. So not only we serve a
nation. We serve those that have died before us. So God blesses America And
my brothers and sisters.

Main Street USA

Main Street U.S.A.
Every town has a main street.
Some Short and some long.
But in this town on main street
We once saw clowns.
They dance and ran around as they went up the main street.
We saw the bands coming from all around.
Play a Yankee doodle tune.
All the way downs our main street.
No more do we hears that band.
For in some towns, they have forgotten the good times on our main streets
U.S.A

oblivious Question

#“OBLIVIOS QUESTION”
Why do you because of corruption banish good governance from entering your passage?
Why do you choose to clad your mind with insincerity?
Why do you choose to lace your shoe with B.sc, B.agric, B.tech, HND, ND,NCE…and you still wear jacket of unemployment?
Why can we boast of 200000 armed personnel and our country cry over insecurity of lives?
Why do we claim to have the African best infantry and mubi residents are still restless?
Why do we have 6.3 billion youths that are educated and we cannot vote in the best crop of politicians?
There are answers to this rhetoric and even endless is the list
We should get it right
Yes we can get it right, only if you can believe in the potential living within you, I and your neighbor
We can get it right, if we can consult our inner mind for a good leader
We can get it right, if we can consolidate our plans by not giving in to toothless, cunning rogues of the political hell
We can get it right, if we can confront injustice and impunity which will hence restore peace to the land #
