Skin

You send bolts through my skin
something I was never to
accomplish with you, when I
saw you it's like my heart sank
to my stomach and I was in
shock my body still my body
heavy felt like when I moved I
was about to fall to my knees
you make me want to get
inside my brain pick you up and
take you out pick you one by
one like a flower because I do
love you and love you not.

A PLACE CALLED THERE

Not too far from here
Lies the dream terrace I hear
The haven of bliss and solace
A glamorous gem of a place
The end of a weary quest
The trophy in fiery contest

Not too far from here
Sits the crown we lived to dare
Purple pride of an intellectual struggle
The green goal of a ceaseless hustle
A place we once asked where
Still seem so far yet so near.

Not too far from here
Stand the Mentors we hold dear
Men who were not shy to believe
Men who fought fear to achieve
The exclusive pass to the hall of fame
for those whose brand is in their name

Your there may differ from mine
I run my route and you run thine
But run we must run and not turn
We sacrifice pleasure and shun fun
Because, not too very far from here
Is a place called there.

Dare to get there.

Spring Wing

Early in the morning
The sun will rise
April showers
Will bring all the flowers
The flowers will start to bloom
They will bloom and go wowed
They won’t scatter because of that April shower

Under the Cross

A conscious effort
by the constrained
creates nothing.

Devoid of inspiration,
enraged egotists find
fault in selfless pursuit of
glory.

Hampered by the
infancy of others,
jettisoned memories of
ketamine disassociation allow
lies to fester.

Myopic interludes of
nihilistic pleasure
only serve to
profundicate the
questionably sane
revolver in my hands
sublime speech on world peace.

There is no sense left
under the cross.
Violins are broken,
weapons formed while
xylophone keys shatter
Yale’s prestige as king of the
zoo.

Drugs are bad things

This is a poem and not a song.
It was written to tell you that drugs are wrong.

We see people on the streets every day.
Exhaling and inhaling their life away.

This is a poem and not a song.
It was written to tell you that drugs are wrong.

Families destroyed lives lost.
Those who take drugs will pay the cost.

This is a poem and not a song.
It was written to tell you that drugs are wrong.

If you take drugs daily you probably won't see.
What or who they they may cause you to be.

This is reality and not a song.
wrote to tell you that drugs are wrong.
