Your Eyes
Your deep and grey eyes I still love and seek
Your palm leaf like calming looks I look for
Whenever the waters are tense in the creek
Extinguished in dense dark the candle flame
In the field amidst the gloom I find no game
I spontaneously recall your two eyes mi amor
Your dancing dimples in that blooming frame
Lovingly you light my lamps in darkness bleak
