You Have Seen the World

You have seen the world You have traveled everywhere Seen such beauty and grandeur Not with your own eyes But through the eyes of my heart For I carry you with me Wherever I go… Eileen Manassian Ghali

Almost like an ode to the traveler; the explorer; perhaps to someone looking down on you from above. It could go anywhere with the perspective. Pretty lines.

This makes me think of my mom. After my step dad passed she carried his ashes and sprinkled a bit of his ashes each place she visited.

YUP....it does! ;) I've been to Preston...My aunt lived there for a while...Now she is in Manchester...I've got other relatives in England....If you're there for a bit, maybe when I visit, I can look you up, Mr Seal... :)

How great to see you writing a choka dear friend! (Beautifully done too)...I used to write a lot of them, mostly old...In my humble opinion, I think my best one was 'Spring Semester' which was a combo of both types...

Enjoyed reading this one today..I feel some sadness in this work..Thanks for stopping by..Yes, in the painting I felt that the man was too older for the woman whom I would have taken to be the mother..There could be many stories imagined from that one thought..He could have married a younger woman after his first wife died, he could have an arranged marriage with this woman whose family needed to marry her off, etc..She could have been an older sister or a chaperone..Sara
