A sad but beautiful poem, Jan. This is the rarely spoken truth about love. Love is two people ... one will depart from this life before the other, leaving the living w/sepia tinged memories. Lovely write. Stay blessed. Much love to you, dear.

death is the hardest thing to live after, the grief is sad yet rewarding that a love that old and strong held so much meaning. it seems unappreciated nowadays but a love forever love, brings smiles in through the pain. hugsx
