Why Can'T We Get Along

Why can't we all just get along? Why can't we agree to disagree? Should we use violence to right a wrong? It doesn't make much sense to me. Why can't we agree to disagree? Surely we can find a way. It doesn't make much sense to me, All this hate expressed today. Surely we can find a way, To bring about peace and healing. All this hate expressed today, Has set our country reeling. To bring about peace and healing, Should we use violence to right a wrong? Our country has been set reeling. Why can't we all just get along? 7/27/21

For sure; it could be a much brighter, happier world would such insanity not rule the day. The problem is, how does one compromise with wrong? And I still believe that there is such a thing as right and wrong, and not that all things are relative, and no one has access to truth. Excellent write. Thank you for sharing.

Great question. No easy answers right now. Interesting how we look to Capitol Hill and Congress to set the tone for the nation. We used to look to our priests, ministers, and rabbis for such guidance... The secularization of America and the West continues apace... C'est la vie. ~ Gershon

It does seem all do agree, Kim, yet there are those out there. That have a need to stuff everything up, especially if there is a profit to be made. Anyhow the poetry is superb and most telling. love it.
