Everybody knows somebody,
Everybody cries.
Everybody laughs sometimes
Everybody hides.

To say you're new and magical,
That is all a lie.
Defiantly we stand with pride,
Waiting for divide.

Ants on a march to feed,
Swarming bees a' floating
Locusts start a rampage
Devastating is the wake.

We seem to be morosely blind,
Yet we see the ice flow diminish.
We have our faults, of course we do.
Why is it we cannot see them.

We fight wars we cannot win,
Killing adults, children and anyone in.
We cannot kill a whale, a spider,
In some cases, even write a letter.

Why is it then we can rule ?
Inflict pain, steal land, devastate anything we deem as ours.
Why is it we cannot see ?
Why is it ..... are we meant to be ?
