Where To Now

In the distance beyond the mirror. What reflections will appear? When the fog does dissipate. We can only hope we're not too late. Will we find our selves in memory's lost? Or we can't afford yesterday's cost. The heart sometimes, never forget's. And can get so heavy with it's regrets. The shore's are drifting out to sea. Each grain of sand takes part of me. The ocean's filled with all my tears. As I set my sail toward my last years. I wait now for that solemn sign. To tell me this directions mine. I wish I could go back and change. The road that now seems oh so strange. The mystery is slowly painted. As new found hope get's reacquainted. On paths that we've not traveled yet. These years before our last sunset.

The ocean's filled with all my tears. As I cast my sail toward my last years. These are beautiful words, a spectacular write. I really love it. The ocean is a perfect representation of how many and much tears we shed. Thanks Robert for sharing a very nice piece of work. :-)

This is a cool poem. I wish it had been in quatrain; I think it would have made it even stronger, but it's great nonetheless. Kudos; enjoyed this piece :)
