Where I Belong
I long for Her deep dreamy blue
She is forever calling my name
At times She is a smooth calm
And at times She shows no shame
Mapping out directions of mass
Her currents changing with her moods
Taking a prisoner at Her own will
Supplying Her own nourished foods
The aromas of Her salty froth
And the sea nectar from Her lip
I am addicted to Her scents
Tantalizing me with Her tight grip
She's richer than earth's black soil
Holding the treasures one has lost
Plundering king's jewels by Her depth
Many lives Her hands have tossed
She will show no given mercy
Mocking towards the fragile earth
Nothing existing can break Her will
New erosion She forever will birth
I cannot show Her my inner fear
To Her empowering fight
I will cast my soul fathoms deep
Down in Her secret kept light
She will give the invite soon
As She awaits my final send
She and I will unite as one
Alas, on Her, I can depend
She gently holds the moon and the stars
Commands daily the wind and the sun
Mother Ocean was created by God
Eternity's prize She has won
