When Soup Crashed

When Soup crashed, I went mad. My fingers would inevitably click on PoetrySoup whenever I went online, yet I'd be led to a blank page. With no challenges, my muse was lost, and I ached from missing all my good friends. On the brighter side, dishes piling up in my sink is a thing of the past. Hubbie enjoys me cleaning more; I finally caught up with my shows recorded on DVR, and I’ve now started that novel I’d wished to write! (fictional account of a future possibility!!) For David Williams' Life without soup Poetry Contest

Ha! You wrote this in 2012 as a 'fictional account of a future possibility'. It finally came true in 2020, the year nobody can wait until it's over. Were you thinking about this etheree when Soup was down for two days in July?

This is cute ,,,, I really didn't like the poem Angel Hearts, as you see I wrote it in 2012. I still think there's something missing. <3

It's amazing how much this site has a hold on it's members. We appear to go into shock when we loose it for a while. It sure goes to show that it's a well liked site, and it's members of course. I'm glad this piece made it onto the winners podium Andrea :)

as difficult as time away from the Soup must be for a person as dedicated as you...I thoroughly suggest you take the time to complete a book. You have wayyyyy too much insight, skill, brains, and determination to not write this book! You have at least one buyer in me~ I support you every step of the way. I know we are opposites when it comes to style but much is to be learned from polar opposites. I enjoy reading your stuff.

It can be a daunting reality, but a time for contemplation and reflection on other life goals as you say. I too need to find time to write a novel that has been pecking at the back door of my stress sullied brain. Good luck in the contest, this was exceptionally written Mrs. Andrea!

It's a good thing I only have an hour. Poetrysoup would drain me of all my power. Labor of loves and passions of such. I'd be a cripple if I didn't have this crutch. But dieing that sweet death would not be so bad. I'd pass away grateful for all that I had.
