When God Created Me
When God created me
He looked for the brown soil
Must have been soil from the river side
So that I can flow easily
So that I can stand with rocks of ages
So tears can flow easily, washing all along the way
So my roots could swim, float or grow deeper
Depending with the challenges He placed before me
He looked for the firm soil
So I wouldn't break easily
Come four seasons, come swords and arrows
So I could be armoured for life
He carved my heart the strongest
So I could love no matter what, forgive and never give up
He knew He didn't have to add any artificial fertilizer
He knew in me, he had placed a natural nutrient
That would last a lifetime, only if I got my daily scoops from Him
He, my daily bread, created by Him, like Him
