What You Don'T See
Him "My life consists of many accomplishments!"
Her "Yes you have told me about them many a time."
Him "Listen very carefully if you want to grow!"
Her "Oh do share, I never cease to be impressed"
Her "Yes you have told me about them many a time."
Him "My friends are all of the highest caliber."
Her "Oh do share, I never cease to be impressed"
Him "Some think I'm the most interesting man in the world!"
Him "My friends are all of the highest caliber."
Her "I'm not surprised they want to hang out with you."
Him "Some think I'm the the most interesting man in the world"
Her "Tell me more what does that means to you?"
Her "I'm not surprised they want to hang out with you."
Him "Yes we all have so much in common"
Her "Tell me more what does that mean to you?
Him "We grew up together and went to the best schools."
Him "Yes we all have so much in common."
Her "Can you really count on them in a pinch?"
Him "We grew up together and went to the best schools."
Her "I wish I could tell you that makes a difference."
Her "Can you really count on them in a pinch?"
Him "My hope is yes they are really important!"
Her "I wish I could tell you that makes a difference."
Him "Stop talking you are making me angry."
Him "My hope is yes they are really important."
Her "I think down deep you know the answer."
Him "Stop talking, you are making me angry!"
Her "In the end know you can count on me."
Her "I think down deep you know the answer
Listen very carefully if you want to grow.
In the end know you can count on me
My life consists of many accomplishments"

Was For Becca's Contest but I read the directions wrong. It was supposed to be free verse.
Sometimes the ones you don't see can be your best friend. Those people who are taken for granted and who sometimes are made to feel small or invisible. Their accomplishments may go unnoticed. They may be the only ones to see beyond the facade of importance.
